Above-average power average speed and average area-of-effect swinging the diamond sword feels natural with the first two swings dealing the weapons minimum damage and the third more powerful swing dealing the weapons maximum damage what’s so great about the diamond sword is that it’s simple elegant and the perfect building block

For a combination of powerful enchantments because of the high base of damage critical hit isn’t a bad place to start getting triple the output on your third powerful attack is absolutely devastating you could also experiment with things like rampaging when using the diamond sword you’ll want to boost your attack

Speed as often as possible with things like artifacts and enchantments the faster you swing the more damage you’ll be able to deal with the already high base of damage finding a way to kick start your attack speed is great the diamond sword is as vanilla as it gets

But it’s a great weapon to build off finding the right combination of gear and enchantments could easily make this one of the most potent weapons in your kit but as always it comes down to how you build it and how you use it in terms of design the diamond sword maintains
