Logdotzip – STUCK IN THE WORLD BORDER! (Captive Minecraft Survival)

So here we are stuck again once more in a world barrier with nowhere to move nothing to do except now we’re stuck at the bottom of a giant what looks like sewer and i can’t move anywhere right now we literally have nowhere to go well at least until i open up my inventory

And just like that the border expands welcome my friends to a brand new mini series on the channel known as captive minecraft three we’ve done captive minecraft on the channel before but we skipped over the third one so yours truly today me like that zip we’re gonna

Be go ahead and take it on this challenge because we’ve done it before on the channel and uh honestly i have a vacation i’m going on so i need to record some content ahead of time so that’s what we’re doing today we got a mini survival series and i just i

Haven’t done survival on the channel in like an untold amount of time so i really just wanted to explore and like you know just try something new so don’t mind me while i attempt to do that if you’re pumped for the series you can let

With the upload schedule again it’s been a long time since we’ve done survival but i’m actually really pumped i’m excited we’re gonna try and make the editing a little less bouncy goofy clay did y’all see that clay this screen is something like popping up on the screen here i don’t

Know what it means but uh this maps by the far landers if you want to check out the farlanders website they actually have downloads for all different captive minecraft series i think they’re actually inactive now when it comes to uh map making which is unfortunate this

This map is actually i think a couple years old now it came out in minecraft 1.11 so uh thank you to farlanders i don’t know if you guys are still here or not but uh all the same their channels will be linked in the description as well

Now i need to try and figure it out exactly what it is i’m doing here if you didn’t know the point of captive minecraft is to slowly expand this world border that we’re stuck in by unlocking achievements so when we opened up our inventory that unlocked our first achievement again we’re in minecraft

1.11 so we went back in time a little bit we’ve got achievements now instead of advancements every single time we open up one of these achievements we get a little bit more space to work with and our goal is to make it to the top of this huge just vertical tunnel

Apparently this this is like a modified version of the game where the height limit is four times as high as normal minecraft yes that means we’ll be traveling upwards over 1 000 blocks so strap shelves in it’s gonna be a bit of a survival series survival series and a

Half to be perfectly honest with you there’s like some kind of like weird glitch keep going right there um i need to figure out what i’m doing right now so uh i’ll get back to you guys a little bit okay this is really weird i just noticed this world border is moving

Wherever i do i don’t know if this is like some kind of odd glitch or something wherever i move the world board has been moving as well so maybe we can use that to our advantage somehow i i don’t know to be honest with you and i’m still kind of

Just stuck hanging out so we uh we might have to do a little bit of exploring and figure out what we’re supposed to do here i want to say we just need to get up somehow but i honestly oh okay hey this is something fresh what do we got here

Enchanted book respiration i’m gonna grab it all i know i’m like losing my air bubbles right now come on get back up yeah this is very odd i’ve never i don’t know if it’s supposed to work this way or not i guess we’re gonna explore and find out together but so far

There’s actually a special mechanic that you can use in captive minecraft you need to charge up an altar using prismarine crystals and i need to get up here before i run out of my air pocket come on oh we’re so close if i start taking damage i’m gonna be so upset get it

Just barely missed it so i wanna say we could in theory probably get over to this next oh right so i looked it up by the way this is supposed to be happening the world border is in fact supposed to be following us all over the place so this

Is going to make for a very interesting series we can only interact with things that are like right next to us which is very odd and gosh they’ve got so many just random things a lot of respiration armor and things and there’s another chest right over there let’s get our air

Pocket a nice little bubble of air and see what’s in that last little area we might get an answer as to where we’re supposed to go down we go come on be quick with it and oh that had respiration on that was a good helmet okay i’m gonna put that on

Right now actually put it on okay good that slows down our breathing look at that now we can last a lot longer underwater this is exactly what i needed so we got all four chests i want to say we’ll do one final look around i guess

Now that i got my respiration i’m gonna collect these you never know they come in handy and the reason i really wanted to do captive minecraft three was obviously i want to get a mini series but more importantly it’s entirely underwater which fits in like ideally uh

With the new snapshot updates the 1.13 aquatic update like we’re able to really like see what old underwater looks like compared to new underwater and it’s honestly pretty exciting to see the differences and we’re going to see how they play off against each other uh let

In fact combine these at some point and get respiration three we’ve got some food some clay two swords a redstone torch soul sand uh what is the next achievement i can get let me see next one’s gonna be getting wood we can’t do really anything else until

We get some wood so we’ll have to keep our eyes peeled i’m gonna get the rest of these chests it’s gonna take a little bit all right we got all the chests so now it’s a matter of finding our way up here i think that we just need to make our

Way into the next room and we’re gonna be able to get everything we need to get in order to get going so let’s see i’ve got a grand total of we’ve got one two three four five six blocks and we also have four chests so that should be enough against the top

Let me see i’m gonna just boom boom boom monument complete did we just make a monument oh i don’t even realize that that’s what just happened perfect oh right because it’s a clay right at the bottom oh that worked great except now i’m like stuck in the world

Board or something hold on let’s get back up now i don’t need to place the rest of those things we can just swim all the way up at the top and see where these mob sounds are coming from because i have a feeling we’re going to get wall left on okay

So now wait a second now the world board is not moving anymore something just happened that’s that is very odd uh huh well i guess we can keep going up no we can’t go up any further well then can i i can’t reach the chest

What else can i do i don’t have anything i can do anything with right now nothing with the gold nuggets this is very interesting okay um the plot dickens oh would you look at that we’ve got we’ve got wood there’s like can i okay cool look at this

Perfect now we can make our next achievement because we well we just did we got some wood hey perfect now the world board has expanded even more and i think we can get another one if we just make ourselves a crafting table so don’t mind if i yes we did it’s expanded once

Again and now i want to say once it finishes expanding we might be able to reach this yeah because look we can turn this into a double chest and then look combined and now we can get everything we need oh that worked perfectly now is there

Another chest let me break this and we will see if we can do it again anywhere no no it doesn’t look like it okay but i want to say we’re getting closer and closer to being able to actually create a little something something extra but

Is there any more wood we can get oh we can get this guy okay cool wait that means we can make ourselves some kind of tool i hope i don’t use up the wrong wood you know what i mean like we break the wrong way like use it for a tool we weren’t

Supposed to make we now have a grand total of eight pieces of wood we’ve got some sticks we’ve got a crafting table i want to say our best bet is to mine up this stone that i’m seeing all over the place so i’m gonna place you down right here okay

We now have enough to get a pickaxe that’s honestly all we need from the first place oh yeah we got a time to mine from that anyways so we’ll mine one extra piece there we’ll mine our another stone piece right here and then we could in theory just keep going like

I can get an upgrade now it’s perfect and we can start mining some of those prismarine blocks that have the shards you see look they’re all over the place we need them to like activate some kind of teleporter in the series somewhere so i’m looking forward to figuring out what

That’s about we already did that one is it ah man we’re just shy we can’t actually open this one yet or we gotta do one more achievement i want to say if we just make ourselves a stone pickaxe it counts as an upgrade getting an upgrade is that yeah perfect okay cool

Now we can place one right here and we can get what’s in here too oh great we got more sticks and we got a fish whatever i’m curious though can i go back down is it gonna move with me when we go down here no it doesn’t look like it follows us at

All anymore which sucks because i saw some shards down here that i’d very much would have liked to have had but now we have no access to them we can’t go back there even if we wanted to maybe there’s someone here that i missed somewhere let me

I wanna is ah let me explore give me a sec okay so what else can we do we need to see let me see i can make a hoe okay that’s an extra that’s a nice easy extra one what time is strike we oh we haven’t made a sword yet actually thinking about

It but we we already have a sword i don’t know if it counts i guess we can see let me see i’ve got just enough to make a hoe boom that should be yes perfect it’s expanding again we’re getting closer and closer and then

I want to say this will give me one is this all right we got another one okay now we’re seriously in business and we can get this extra chest and probably start mining some stuff pretty soon i have a feeling the mobs are gonna start getting really close though so you gotta watch

Achievement from doing that this is oh i know where we are this is the monument room anyone that’s seen my previous captive minecraft series knows that there’s monument rooms that give you special rewards like for example this guy down here the clay blocks in fact i kind of want to collect these now

That i’m not needing them anymore every time you collect one of these different monument objects it gives you a reward and you know i think it might in fact make it easier for you to get other achievements so we’re going to get this clay back we might need it for something later uh

Because i know most of them require clay in order to be built you might need this i’m going to collect all my clay thank you so much and thank goodness for this helmet because it’s making this so much easier to breathe underwater if we lose this though

That’s it goodbye and in fact in this bottom room we can now actually reach the outside again i’m going to mine one of these and see what we get from it it might take a while i don’t even know if i can actually mine this with this pickaxe

Ooh if we lose it oh i’ll be upset okay we’re gonna let it do its thing it’s almost broken please please don’t break into nothing if you break into nothing i will be so upset in fact i’m almost oh wait no i think we got something for

That let me see did we collect anything we did prismarine crystals this is very important we need these in order to charge the special alter machine device you can find more information about this entire map and the link in the description but we need these to charge

Up a very special monument in fact i’ve got the page up right now uh what’s hold on okay so the lore here is that we’re trying to re-raise the ancient city of atlantis that’s why we’re underwater right now and in order to do it we need to power a special generator and the

Prison crystals are what power this generator so we need to be on the constant lookout for more crystals in fact i’m gonna try and find some more there’s another so funny i’m just floating and trying to mine this at the same time it’s kind of difficult to be

Honest like we’re not are we even making any progress right now like i don’t think anybody’s oh my gosh oh much better look i’m standing and now it’s actually mining this is very convenient come on give it to me baby there we go collect and i want to say we got three

Crystals i think that that’s all that’s in this bottom oh wait one more oh and i can stand for this one too all right i want to say we got them all i left us with a grand total of five crystals and i think you only need five at a time in

Order to power uh i’m gonna put a chest down we’re gonna store some of these goods so that i’m not constantly dying yeah that’d be a great idea uh let’s go ahead and we’ll place you yeah we’ll place you right here for now huh put all this junk away i don’t need

It yet actually i suppose it wouldn’t hurt to make a stone sword so let’s go ahead and make ourselves a stone sir because i have no idea what is waiting up there but we’re gonna handle it together because you guys are part of my team team watch tyler play minecraft oh the

Boy well oh okay no that’s exactly what i wanted to happen all the oh great yeah well he can’t reach me down here stupid and give me an ender pearl please would that be great come on please drop me an enterprise yeah we got it this is good

This is good i said hopefully we can use this uh oh well that explains a lot but you know what We could in theory use the end oh boy come on if we die oh my gosh so close what’s in here quick wow lead charcoal bowls is there anything else i can grab before i get totally walloped on i want to say no um oh there’s a door over there okay

Hmm i’m gonna regroup myself we gotta go back down here i shouldn’t make a furnace i was about to eat all the food nah we gotta make a furnace and i think actually making a furnace should unlock one extra achievement for us anyways and then possibly cooking and eating a fish

Does too i don’t know exactly we’ll see hold on we got enough cobblestone right here if we could just very thank you very much done deal there we go that’s another expansion i’ll take another piece of stone and we’re mighty close to being able to grab that right there and

I think that that’s all we can do for the timing some iron always a plus i can get that thank you very much and some coal okay hey things are coming together truly we got lots of stone we got lots of coal we got one iron and uh

We also have one heart so i’m gonna go ahead and place this furnace down i’m gonna cook up this fish oh look at this we’re about to get two more instantly smelt an iron ingot as well as smelting delicious fish this counts as an achievement maybe because i didn’t catch

It it won’t work let me see do we get we do we got an achievement for that oh perfect and we’re gonna get another one once we finish cooking this iron and let the fish do that thing that’s our last fish and then put you in there and once

This baby cooks up we will have access to one more world expansion and maybe access to oh it’ll be close i don’t think we can get anything else to be honest but that’s okay we got plenty of stuff to work with right here in fact i kind of

Want to cook up this salmon well i have a chance can you are you all going to cook is that going to cook it’s going to do its thing please get just so close it’s going to be so close i might have to throw a stick in there for good

Oh i hear a witch he’s been hanging out for a little bit though i’m not sure where he is all right you know i’m gonna line up the rest of this iron and then we’re gonna get cooking dude this keeps going we’re on 20 pieces of iron and

Then we got some coal over here too this is exactly what i needed we just keep getting goods like how far can i mine this direction when do i start getting diamond actually i hear lava do you hear that whoa i thought something just fell on me i hear lava although we’ve reached

The dead end here okay i’m gonna just mine around we may as well just keep making room somewhere see if we can unlock anyone looks like we hit bedrock maybe not now in terms of achievements we still need to get in order to expand things we need to get diamonds we need a

Rail we need to get ourselves some bread some cake we need to kill a cow and make some wheat and when pigs fly and apart from that we can’t do too much more so i want to say it might come down to expanding on some of these monuments in fact looking at this

We can oh no i was gonna say we could reach this chest by adding another chest right next but this iron is on top so we won’t be able to open it just yet you know what i think i’m comfortable let’s let’s head upstairs we can see what’s

Upstairs huh i’m gonna make an iron chest plate good protection nice to have we don’t want to use all of it yet in fact you know what the other thing i make i’m gonna make an iron sword because the stone’s just not gonna cut it truly

There we go oh that is not an iron sword that is a bunch of sticks grab the iron thank you it’s been i’m so rusty with survival mode it’s been so long it’s okay we’re gonna handle it together you’ve been placed on and then i’ll go ahead and dump the rest of you

Oh i know what i’m gonna do here’s what i’m gonna do we’re gonna put torches all over it so that they don’t spawn anymore check it out that way we can keep this in case we need experience or string or what have you later on but honestly anything beyond this

It’s not gonna work okay now i need to mine this top guy too and then we just place the torch on top and it should be spawn proof now there shouldn’t be any more spiders that spawn out of this spawner so wow progress man gorgeous we have just enough armor or

Iron i should say to get full armor look at that now we are totally prepared i mean we could use a shield but you know we’ll get to that in time oh i got to fill this up with food okay let that thing keep popping off we’ll get another
