Mattitude – Minecraft Dungeons – How To Transfer A Character Save File To A New Gaming Platform

What up guys magnitude here today’s video is going to be a quick little tutorial on how to transfer your character save files to another gaming platform that way you don’t have to create a brand new character every time you want to play minecraft dungeons on a different platform

It can be difficult to find hence why you are probably watching this video but once you know what to do it’s actually really easy okay so here we are on the xbox series x yes i was one of the lucky few to get one first thing you want to start off by

Going to the character select screen and click on hero settings from there you want to make sure that you are on the character you want to upload and click the upload character button for xbox it is the right joystick this will then upload your character to the cloud a

Couple things to note your character does not continuously save if you decide to play some more on this device that means that when you go to download this saved character on another platform it will be the exact same as what you just uploaded now so be sure to upload your most current

Character right before you go to the new platform that will then ensure that all the progress you have made and items you received are all there one other thing to note for some reason microsoft doesn’t allow any dlc content to be shared across different platforms this means that you’ll have to buy separate

Dlcs for each platform you play on if you want to play that dlc content i am really disappointed that they decided to do this it is such a money grab on their part they are literally over a trillion dollar company and they are nickel and diming their loyal customers i guess

That’s probably why they are a trillion dollar company but that is for another video okay so we successfully uploaded our character to the cloud now to go download it on the new platform okay so here we are on my pc now all you have to do is go to the character select

Screen and find an open spot then select what save file you want to download in this case i just have the one and hit the download character button there you go now you know how to play minecraft dungeons using the same character across different gaming platforms
