Minecon 2022 WILL BE HACKED (Again)! Can Mojang Stop It? Minecon Mob Vote 2022 News

The Minecon 2022 mob boat is in a serious danger of being hacked it was actually already hacked a couple of days ago and if Mojang doesn’t act quickly hackers are all but guaranteed to strike again during Minecon as you might know Mojang hosts a mob Vote or biome vote

Every year at Minecon and usually they do the votes on Twitter but this year they’re hosting the votes on minecraft.net and the Java Edition launcher and inside a brand new server that you can join from Minecraft Bedrock Edition Mojang is putting a huge Target out by allowing and encouraging anyone

To join these voting servers and it just invited Bad actors everywhere to try and ruin it for everyone over the last couple weeks Mojang has been trying out some stress tests of servers in the Minecraft preview to make sure that it runs smoothly and there’s already been

Issues with these the first one had major issues with moderation and the lack of thereof and the second stress test server was a fully nuked by hackers as you can see it’s pretty bad basically the server is ruined Minecon is only a week and a half away

And if Mojang doesn’t fix these exploits or find a solution soon hackers could potentially shut down the mob vote for Minecraft Bedrock Edition forcing millions of people to vote on minecraft.net or in the Minecraft Java launcher this isn’t even the first time that Mojang has been publicly hacked

Minecraft.net because the website might think it’s being a DDOS the previous mob votes have had up to like 3 million oats and that was over the course of about 20 minutes is this a 24-hour voting period could easily see way more than that and the website might think that all these

Visitors from all across the world is a DDOS attack and wrongly shut down I’m also slightly skeptical of voting in the Java Edition launcher because to my knowledge it hasn’t been tested at scale and with millions and millions of people voting and with a relatively short
