Minecraft 1.17 Climbing Mountains! (HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?) Caves & Cliffs Update

Snowier snow and we don’t want to run into snowy or snow okay okay it’s already what’s happening stealth army it’s me we’re back with another video today hope you guys are all chilling relaxing having a great day today we’re gonna see how long it takes to climb a mountain in the 1.17

Bedrock beta now as of right now the mountains aren’t available on the java edition hopefully we get them very soon because the mountains are spectacular this seat is by you guys one of the homies on discord red sus so i’ll have the information in the top left or right corner

This video in particular i know i’ve been gushing over the mountains but they truly are spectacular like i think the mountain generation is my favorite feature so far until the warden is released which we don’t know when that’s gonna happen it could be this week

It could be next week it could be a month from now but until then mountains are just incredible they’re majestic and beautiful and just larger than life if you’ve ever seen a mountain in real life you know that feeling that you get where you just feel so tiny and so small like

And that’s what mojeng’s been able to accomplish with this update like mountains really do make you feel super small in this update or just in minecraft and i know that’s like a taboo right that’s like a no-no right there but we just don’t have time

We don’t have time to get it or do we or do we i know someone’s gonna roast me later so let me go ahead and get that final piece of wood because floating trees are just a big no no in minecraft so let’s continue hopefully we can

Acquire some food because i have a feeling by the time we get to the top of the mountain we might be in some big trouble i’m not entirely sure how long it’s gonna take us to at least get to the top but i’m hoping within like 10 minutes we can get

To the very top that would just be incredible and i’m not sure actually how tall this mountain is i haven’t checked it out in creative or nothing like that but we should probably make some tools for now i think that’s actually the smart thing to do and get some food

I’m not sure if we’re gonna find food but seeing as mountains are you know multiple different biomes that create mountains in general we should be able to find hopefully a little food i don’t know some berries would be nice i’ll take a rabbit stew pumpkins i don’t know

Anything i’ll take any type of food you know what let’s go i should have made a shovel guys i was not thinking probably want a couple shovels now i think about it so we got a couple shovels i wouldn’t say this is a speed run i would just say like if you

Are starting a new world which i have a feeling a lot of people will start a new world on average how long will it take for you to climb you know climb the mountain get to the very top of the mountain on average so this isn’t some sort of speed run

To the top of the mountain it’s just to see like on average how long will it take so already we’re like i don’t know 25 35 but we got to be careful because there might be some snowier snow and we don’t want to run into snowy or snow okay okay it’s already

It’s already gosh no no no no it’s already happening this is bad this is bad i’m so glad i made the shovel guys we’re in trouble we’re in trouble oh no you see this is why you want leather if you’re starting off you definitely definitely want some leather guys leather boots

Because the snowier snow will get you the powder snow will get you and it’s gonna slow you down for sure i mean it probably won’t kill you but it’s gonna slow you down a little bit so i really think that’s going to be the main issue

With trying to get to the top of the mountain your first day now that’s not to say it’s impossible obviously if you have a bunch of cobblestone or dirt or wood like we can probably get to the top right now with no we can’t not with eight blocks of

Wood we’re not getting anywhere with eight blocks of wood guys oh this is this is actually tough oh my gosh this snowy or snow is not a joke so here’s what we’re gonna do um we’re gonna find a different path and now now i’m in trouble because finding food up there is

Gonna be almost impossible so we have to find some food and we’re gonna need some more blocks to build with even just getting some leather boots would be very helpful so unfortunately we got to go all the way back down here even though we were already oh we got some berries okay

This is great we got we got some berries i’m so excited to see berries y’all i’m so happy oh man the struggle guys the struggle and once it gets dark too we’re in trouble oh that’s not gonna be fun we’re gonna need all of these berries because once it gets dark

We’re in some serious trouble so in reality it actually is low-key a speed run but another option oh ouch that hurt i’d even see you right there another option is just to get a bunch of blocks and just build straight up instead of climbing we just build straight up is that

Cheating i don’t think it is i feel like that’s just being resourceful like just building all the way up with a bunch of blocks and then that way we don’t have to worry about freezing i’m not sure exactly how many planks we’re gonna need in order to

Get to the top because i don’t think we’re gonna find a cow like that’s one of the main reasons why i’m doing this i don’t think we’re gonna find a cow anytime soon and especially with how large mountains oh yo these berries are annoying yo they’re annoying i don’t know if

They’re as annoying as snowy or snow but berries are extremely annoying okay so let’s go ahead and get some food going here now i think that’s actually the safest path is where that ice is so we might actually attempt going back over there because it looks like

You see that’s still not enough 57 blocks is definitely not enough because it looks like there’s a little bit more stability on that side i’m hoping this is enough so let’s go ahead and just start racing up this mountain before it gets dark which we probably only have

A couple minutes left of sunshine so we got to run like the wind we gotta pull a sonic right now and i said we’re gonna go that way it’s all ready guys we’re already dealing with powder snow so this is gonna be very difficult and the powder snow blends in perfectly

With the regular snow oh my gosh you see oh what what i don’t even see that one though that’s not fair that’s not fair okay that’s not fair at all let’s go ahead and can we just parkour i think we could just parkour that’s actually not a bad idea

You’re a genius stealth parkour just so this is turned into a parkour up the mountain guys which is a really smart idea i don’t know why i think about this earlier it’s a great idea so unfortunately i don’t think i have enough wood but it should be able to get us

At least halfway man at least halfway up this mountain oh yep there’s the ice this is perfect guys this was perfectly thought out all according to plan guys all according to plan we just gotta be careful though cause that powder snow is not a joke you cannot underestimate

The powder snow oh how much wood do we have left i have no idea but we can’t stop now oh i’m scared i’m scared i’m scared i’m scared we can’t stop now guys we’ve gone too far we’ve gone too far so we got let’s see how many more planks

We got 56 planks left and i’m hoping that’s enough but to be honest i’m not too confident it is enough we’re moving though we’re not stopping we’re not stopping oh look where’s the top is that the top right there i think that’s the top guys i think we’re almost there and i’m confident

He’s very sus so here we go i think that’s the very top i think that’s actually taller than that peak right there wow just look look how high up we are though guys this is so crazy wow and they get taller than this like that’s the craziest part is that

There are mountains taller than this i don’t know if they’re going to be as large in terms of like the width but you will find mountains that are taller than this so if you guys do like i said go on to my discord be sure to share them down below

And we made it just in time to witness the sunset so that took about 10-ish minutes okay so that’s actually not too bad you know 10-ish minutes is not terrible however if you’re trying to live up here and do that all the time it’s probably gonna get tiresome it’s gonna get you know

It’s gonna get very tedious very quickly and feel like a chore so my suggestion is to have a leecher wings maybe have a rail system just a more efficient way to get up the mountain unless you just plan on wearing leather boots all the time hopefully you guys enjoyed the video
