Minecraft 1.18 WOODLAND MANSION NIGHTMARE! (#9)

Hey everybody it’s me iggy iggy too biggie to be here stressing and welcome back but no no not just welcome back welcome back to hardcore minecraft episode number nine the hardcore minecraft 1.18 experiment makes a return today but not just any return actually no no look at the levels that’s nice

That’s very nice with that many levels we could definitely get an enchantment or two in so that’s exactly where we’re gonna start death starter three hmm no i’m looking for good in jammus here the armor definitely deserves an upgrade right now we only have blast production four in the armor the unblurring three

Is actually really really tempting but yeah we need better armor and we also need a better sword i’m very tired of this iron sword it may look impressive but really it’s not much it’s only as good as an unenchanted diamond sword not good we deserve an upgrade so that’s

What we’re looking for including on the bow so from looking through all of my options here that’s probably that’s not good that’s not good so on the last episode the dragon fight i heavily implied ask steven for you to leave a like i decided that if the

Episode got a lot of support maybe even more than usual then i will continue the series and uh the support well yeah it seemed like a lot of you didn’t want the series to end there so good news it doesn’t end there last episode like one

Like infinity infinity would be amazing feather falling would be great on breaking three i love to see it on the armor but we’re looking for something good maybe even sharpness on the sword smite force that’s not bad i’ll keep it i bet it could be better but it also could be

Worse that’s not too bad on breaking three on everything hey that’s okay and i’m breaking around that that’s not okay all right so let’s go on breaking through on the leggings and something else good something else okay we have so many levels i feel way more confident

Enchanting when i have so many levels because i can just roll things over it doesn’t matter power threes see none of those are good we’ll roll this over a truly indispensable amount of levels right here it feels good it feels really really good dubstrader three that’s not

Bad at all on breaking three you know what on breaking three it is that’s okay you see this lock isn’t the best but it’s also not the worst on breaking three you know what fine uh i shouldn’t have done that see actually miraculously take a look at my inventory

While i’m crafting some stuff uh do you notice anything like scan the whole inventory roll by road see if you see it long story short if i could get infinity this would be literally perfect this would be literally perfect if i could get infinity and that’s pretty good

That’s a good bow so i’m looking for infinity or feather falling you know i have more diamonds right could i make another diamond sword while i’m at it two huh huh that’s funny i swear i have more diamonds somewhere trust me i’m not like that poor like i they’re somewhere okay

Trust me all right so at this point basically i’m desperately looking for the enchantment called infinity if i could find infinity in here anywhere then i would be very happy you know what i don’t have an anvil actually i don’t think i own an anvil so it doesn’t really matter at the same

Better bow two with one arrow i’m basically a machine the thing that i like to get done today has to do with this map so take a look at it actually the pointer is pointing literally right at the thing it’s pretty sweet actually so i don’t

Want to break too much like too much is is never good and i’ve already talked a lot about my full set of enchanted armor the levels and everything but one more thing we got really lucky with this world like this world is basically amazing i’m pretty sure we’ve loaded

This world in three different versions of the 1.18 experiment so far so we’ve gotten a pretty good look at all different types of generation the generation of this world is amazing there are some really good looking mountains and i’m sure if i kept exploring it would keep looking amazing

When we went exploring a couple episodes ago uh we also found something really cool you see it’s not just the land in this world that generates school it’s also structures uh that’s amazing super close to spawn like within a thousand blocks easily of spawn and it’s pretty good you can’t deny

Today the goal is pretty straightforward go into the mansion check out the mansion loot the mansion and loot the mansion so of course they do all of that we actually have to head towards the mansion but you see that’s what we’re doing right now we’re not going that way we’re going a

Completely different direction because there’s actually something a little bit more important hey sunflowers did i ever bring those back to the base i guess not no i didn’t wow that’s embarrassing everybody knows that the key to good content creation creation in general is having the aesthetic on point perfect

There we go much better so yes it is definitely true that we will be heading to that oh i forgot all about this i forgot all about this thing oh there’s so much to do in this world still i completely forgot about this cave and honestly all the caves so honestly i

Would say that it is true that we’re going into the woodland mansion today for sure there wasn’t a lie or any kind of joke or anything we are going to the woodland mansion however there is one thing that is slightly more important that we need to resolve from the last episode and the

Thing that needs resolving unfortunately is not really exactly close to the base but it’s also i i mean i i guess obviously it could be farther to get to that thing i’m pretty sure this is the way oh yes and uh fans of the challenges in every single episode please meet the

Is the crying obsidian poor and hardcore well i have no answer for you i don’t know what it’s for it’s completely useless but it still looks cool call me a simple person again yes fine valid even but i’m very impressed by blocks that have animations like crying obsidian

With the whole crying thing that’s gorgeous i don’t miss the days of swimming around in the river like a rat and hunting salmon definitely don’t miss those days oh yes this is right this is right we just went a slightly different way but i recognized that hill i would recognize

Into the mansion in terms of prep for the mansion i think all that i really need to do is organize the inventory get some of this random stuff out of here i don’t really need to take it to the mansion hey look if i had glowstone i

Could actually be a crying obsidian or an anchor thing yeah leave everything that i don’t need at the base bring everything that i need with me i think we’re ready to go so now it’s pretty simple it’s full speed ahead to the woodland mansion after the dragon with

No armor i’m feeling pretty confident about this a couple vindicators with axes evokers that spawn tiny ghost things i mean come on how hard could this be answer not very hard at all as long as the dog can actually keep up oh no oh no did i lose the dog

I might have lasted la i think i lost it on okay one there you are come there’s no getting out of this one so the battle plan for this one is quite simple we charge into the mansion take everything out as quick as possible then look

Around for loot we use the dog to take things out that i can’t get up close to and i have one arrow if something is really bad i could use this one arrow well well well look who left the door wide open this is going to be easy now i know what

You’re probably thinking right now waddles come on what are you doing without a shield how could you not have a shield in here well this is what i’m thinking i don’t need a shield the shield is no no no no the shield is i don’t need that uh why are they so

Strong good dog good dog all right well i have pretty good armor they’re dealing a little bit more damage than i anticipated but i still have pretty good armor this thing is so cool with all these like different rooms like this thing is really really interesting

But we need to be careful we can’t get cornered so i think there might also be secret rooms inside of this thing and the secret rooms are where the good loot is i think stay away stay away not this time get them dawg also now that my

Sword is really good i should probably be uh pretty careful about the dog uh hey get in the boat nope that’s what i thought how do you feel about that yup that’s right i don’t need a shield because i have good armor i have a good sword

And i have a boat oh no dog why did you do that why did you do that all right so we have sweeping edge we’re gonna have to be careful about this one uh dog yes oh you’re smart you’re smart the pilot get out of the no no no no no

No no i’m so sorry i’m so sorry okay so i’ll admit it i didn’t plan for that one either i had the boat the whole time of course and i knew how i was going to use the boat but i didn’t think about the possibility of the dog getting in the boat too

That could be a problem also is this thing just gonna be the easiest thing in the world and have almost no mob spawns in it because the caves are gigantic under the ground uh most likely probably oh yeah and and oh no dog you have to be careful you have to be

One more careful than that you can’t do that okay so before anyone gets mad at me for that one it was the dog’s fault that was the dog it clearly charged another creeper and there’s another creeper so you know what we’re just gonna leave that one alone i’m pretty

Sure we speed around that wing of the mansion on to the next one and huh okay so i know we found that one room with all of those chests but i’m pretty sure every single one of those chests in that room is always empty but things

Like this right here a secret chest how could you hide that from me yeah what do you think about that by the way skeleton i’ll just let you deal with that secret chest right here with loot and music disc i can’t ever remember the loot inside of these things because they’re

So big but hopefully my goal here is like a couple diamonds uh is there a loot in this room is there loot in here a couple of diamonds maybe even some diamond armor that would be amazing i i think we can get those things so tell me are these rooms oh

There’s saplings there you know i don’t know if i’ve ever seen this room before that’s cool i definitely play this game before mansions were added in but i never actually really messed with the mansions that much i always kind of avoided them but also they’re like insanely rare like

They’re not that common is there loot in your head do you have loot inside of your head no it is an empty skull that’s fine that’s fine i’ll put it back it’s fine it’s a cool statue okay so it’s another one of these things um don’t touch the

Dog do not touch the dog don’t touch it yes no no no no i don’t oh dog dog i’m about to sideline you if you keep that up that is not going very well you’re wasting all my food and the skeleton you can’t even clean up the

Skeleton i left the skeleton for you dog come on come on one more close call with that dog and then it’s sitting out the rest of this mansion hey hey in anvil my lucky day i need that okay so it’s noisy over here really noisy tons of those grumpy sounding

Creatures but i’m pretty sure they’re actually all in the upstairs and i don’t know if this is cheating it kind of feels like it is but it’s nighttime now which means mobs are going to not only spawn in the gigantic caves but also all over the surface outside there’s there’s

One of them there’s one of them get in the boat that’s what i thought don’t get in the boat this time leave him alone all right so we’ll we’ll try just leave that one in the boat for now that’s fine i don’t think it’s doing any harm whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa

Whoa whoa whoa there’s like two of them there’s like two of them come this way this way this way oh there’s like three of them maybe i don’t know there are so many of them can you come by the boat please don’t touch me don’t touch me

That’s what yes don’t touch me and no no that’s not fair that’s not very fair that’s not okay well i didn’t picture this happening being in a high speed chase around this mansion running from these things that is no boy oh dawg just keep teleporting come with me high stakes around this thing

Taking these things out i wouldn’t have imagined it this way but this is how it is i guess stay away from me and the dog too leave the dog alone i think we’re gonna have to have the dog just sit it’s way too dangerous up there i’m so sorry

Buddy i need a couple more boats too my one boat is being hogged up so why can’t other things get in this boat was that just uh like a weird happening or what hey you you you want to come with me to the boat oh man you don’t want to come

Are just in case of emergency of course i don’t plan on anything bad happening but you never know so there’s one of these wizard things over here somewhere clearly because of the vexes oh you’re hiding in the room okay i understand i understand there’s a boat for you i

Think i got it i think i got it i think it’s sitting inside of the boat in there i could probably spawn the ghost still but i think all the other attacks are basically disabled yep probably probably nice not bad so anyways what i was saying about the mansions they’re most

Likely going to be way too easy now like insanely insanely easy i mean sure these things are tough so you want to have good armor but uh mob spawning there are dark rooms for sure like some of these rooms without torches it gets pretty dark in here but you have to remember

Mob spawning is changing in 1.18 and at least it is right now basically in 1.18 for hostile mobs to spawn like skeletons creepers you know things to make this thing a little bit more challenging more unpredictable for these things like that is one the light level now needs to be

Zero like all the way down which means spots like this hallway right now with all these torches is insanely bright if there’s any light at all it’s completely spawn proof i’m not sure what’s going to happen in 1.18 with structures like this one right here but this needs to be

Updated i think some of the torches need to come out of the hull won’t really take away from the structure or anything like that in my opinion and we’re on the third floor now we’re on the third floor and there’s so many of these things why

Are there so many today uh somebody no no no no how you deal with that no no you don’t just do that no no no no no it just walks over the boat it’s just you think you’re smart now you think you’re so smart you just walk over the

Boat how about you will you just walk into the are okay they all walk over the boats fine honestly these things are way more dangerous than the ones that spawn the ghost i mean the ghosts are really dangerous but those things themselves aren’t bad but these axes the axes are

Like intense so since that bow didn’t work i’ll just bring that back uh there’s two more there’s two more right there oh never mind not even one not even one oh never mind never mind there’s a third one there’s a third one there’s so many of these

Things in this one there’s so many here what are you doing go no all right so i’m gonna light this room up and just let them stay there they can live there for now the rooms in this thing are so cool like this like giant map and globe

Like this is really interesting this place is fascinating they should put more structures like this in the game alright so here’s one of those ghost boss things good bye totem that’s perfect that’s exactly what i needed just in case i don’t even need the golden apples and hey there’s another

Than i would have ever thought like it’s low it’s low for sure definitely but also at the same time it’s in the best spot that it’s ever been very funny very funny for you to spawn so many ghosts and do that through the wall that’s very very funny but

Very nervous about those things sitting in the boat right there if i turn the corner and run into the boat just right i think that would be devastating so try and get me now goes try and get me now yep okay fine very funny very funny imagine if i

Had sharpness if i had sharpness right now these things would be one shot like over and over and over again it would be great why are there so many there are like so many and they just keep spawning i wonder if it’s that one that i trapped

In the boat from before i bet it’s just sitting around spawning these things right maybe or are there just like a bunch inside of this structure i hate their laughs i hate their laughs their laughs are like taunting and they’re so hard to hit too like stop laughing at me

Keep spawning these things or something i think we’re actually going to run out of food before we can finish this whole thing there you are there you are you’re causing the problems you’re spawning the ghosts like a million goes how many of these things are gonna be in the

Structure there’s so many of them and another one there’s another one in that room i think uh no no not you okay you can just go that’s not all there’s two of you there’s two of you no no no no and a creeper that’s crazy oh no no no no no

No you used my totem up you used my totem that was my totem now we only have two wow crazy crazy of these things to be like this this is insane oh you know what never mind i have three totems so these ghosts are legally insane they’re legally insane at

This point and there’s another one somewhere there’s another one of the evokers like somewhere in this thing where is it where is it genuinely i have no clue where this thing could actually be it has to be on the third floor right or is it like on a lower floor it’s like

The the teeth things are coming from this room i don’t think i’ve ever seen this room before though this is kind of interesting the ghosts the ghosts are crazy i have to find that evoker that i put in the boat and take the thing out no there’s another one there’s another one

How many of these things are inside of this structure this is like the fifth one what are you doing or maybe even six there are so many what are you doing okay tell me seriously have you ever seen one with so many of these ghost things and and just other things it’s

Sitting right in there creeper just go just do it just do it just do it oh it doesn’t even hurt that thing okay all right look this has to be like the last one here it there’s no way there’s more than this you have to be the final one

So you can just go away now they’re done they’re gone and they’re in the boat now that’s cool how how did that happen how did that even happen huh they stole my helmet my helmet is gone completely okay well on the bright side of all that i’m pretty sure we’ve seen

The entire mansion though i went through the whole thing victory sweet sweet victory what did it cost a couple totems but victory okay so somewhere in here there was that hole in the floor i’m not too sure where the hole in the floor went but that hole in the floor there

Should be another totem yeah i’m pretty sure all of these are just fake chests they’re just all empty there’s no loot in that room same with this room it’s like the same thing but like bigger pretty sure all these chests are all just empty i think the rooms with the

Actual good loot are kind of tucked away also i’m somewhat concerned uh i can’t find my oh there you are there you are nevermind come with me okay i have to admit this mansion it was a little bit more challenging than the dragon it was more challenging than i

Thought but there’s the other totem going through this mansion unfortunately cost me essentially all of my food and my helmet and also almost the rest of my armor too but we did it we did it my last job today is to finish going through this entire mansion i know

There’s a room on the first floor that i missed where there should be a loot chest on the top floor there’s a room in the top floor with a chest and is there a chest inside of the cat i don’t think there’s a chest inside of the cat

Yeah probably not do they hide a chest back here is there one under the staircase no i guess not i never thought i would say it but i mean wow i guess good thing that i had those totems they really came in handy without those totems i don’t know what i would have

Been able to do now up here is there yes there is there is there is oh that’s amazing that’s actually really amazing that’s perfect yeah so i don’t remember this room i don’t think i’ve ever seen this room but i had a feeling this is

Where they would hide a loot chest if i was a loot chest i would definitely be hiding up on some balcony in the top floor absolutely my inventory it’s full i don’t know if we can carry anything else and i’m pretty sure we did it i’m pretty sure that’s it i would say

I’m like 80 sure that i got most of the loot inside of this mansion if you didn’t if you think i missed something put it down below that was intense that honestly leaves me speechless i think that was the hardest woodland mansion that i’ve ever been in every single

Woodland mansion that i’ve gone on before i don’t think there has been a single one that has been anywhere near as hard on a perfect run from that thing five totem of undying on my run three and one i’m sorry about that we won’t do it again woodland mansions
