Hey guys what is up the new chemistry or welcome to my five quick and easy starter house first day house tutorials so it’s basically five pretty easy houses that you can build on your first or second day in Minecraft the definitely beginner houses but as you can see they all look pretty decent Obviously one of them you can’t really see here but that’s only because it’s underground so it looks pretty cool from down here and I’d say I mean it’s basically a box underground with some stuff in it but that’s how you should be surviving in your first or second day But if you guys want to learn how to build all these block by block step by step I show you how to build literally everything you see here exactly as you see so if you guys want to build one of these five houses stick around and let’s get started alright for starter house Number one it’s a pretty simple build you’re gonna need to find your standard sized oak tree just something like this nothing complicated just your basic oak tree you’re gonna want to go up to it and you’re gonna want to place ladders just like this and you’re only gonna Want to go up about four blocks like this you’re gonna want to break all these blocks and then do you see the layer right here then I’m on I’m standing on its usually like the second layer you want to stand on this and just sort of break it all out like that the Next step is we are going to take slabs and anywhere that it’s not filled in we’re just going to essentially go all the way around just like this and add one layer of oak wood slabs all the way around now keep in mind these are supposed to be beginners sort of starter Houses these are not obviously endgame houses just because well you’ll see why they’re not too detailed and they’re pretty simple because obviously when you look at it like this but essentially we’re gonna start off with a base just something like this now we’re gonna want to build the corners down one block just Like that and from there we’re going to take our fence and we’re just going to bring it down to a halt just like that and hold it just on the grass I’m not sure why I said the word halt I’m not sure what that means exactly but all you Want to do is just sort of dig it and break it down like this and you’ll have somewhat of a base with the tree in the middle cool okay now on the corners here I recommend adding some logs just like this and then topping them with a slab Okay so it’s a pretty simple build you might have to mine like a few trees just here and there but it gives you a pretty good amount of space to sort of start out living now I understand that yeah get attacked from the top so a pretty Cool method to circumvent that is to build this up one two three four blocks just like this and then maybe go up a fifth block and then just sort of do a roof like this now I understand that it’s kind of hard to do when you’re on Survival so I’ll sort of try to build it like I’m on survival and I’ll show you how I’d go about it so this block right here needs to be broken and all we’re doing is just sort of adding the roof just like this and we’re gonna go all The way around and go down one block each time so yes phantoms could technically get you but if this is the first night at Minecraft they won’t even be spawned anyway so it’s really not that big of a deal but I can understand the concern so again just Going down one half slab each time until you get to the corners is going to be perfectly sufficient for a roof and you should be able to fly back in now on the corners here I did originally add those but you could add a fence just like this And then bring those blocks one more half slab down and you’ve got a pretty cool base for your house so if we look look at this from the outside and actually looks pretty cool you know I mean it’s definitely a starter basis nothing too fancy but if that’s what You’re looking for go for it I would build fences just like this and then go make them go one more out and then take a fence gate and this will just circumvent things coming up to your door and just opening it you know that’s completely optional if You have access to torches this early I’d put some torches right here and then once you’re up here I’d put torches just like this on every corner and that should give you sufficient lighting so again there are a few things you know that this is a beginner base so it’s Only gonna have like chest furnaces crafting tables in bed it’s not gonna have a whole bunch of fancy stuff so I’d recommend putting your bed somewhere like right there and then you can go ahead and put your furnaces down like this we could have four furnaces although I don’t think you’d have four Furnaces at the beginning of the game maybe two furnaces in a crafting table and then over on this side maybe you want to do some chests just something like this and if you wanted to make the chests look a tad bit better I wouldn’t stack them I’d just do them Like this and you you know you don’t mean need that many chests off the bat so this would be a pretty good sort of starter house and I hope you enjoyed base number one if you have a little bit of extra wood you can make a wooden pressure plate and you Fancy these up a little bit and if you had some stone you could make a stone pressure plate to put on there but I wouldn’t race through there of the game resources on that but hopefully you guys enjoyed this little base and let’s get on to number two all right now house Number two is going to be more of your standard house but again these are starter houses so they’re going to be a little bit smaller than you’re used to so we’re gonna place one oak log in the corner we’re gonna count one two three four five and then place another one and Then do one two three four place one one two three four five and then place one and so it’s if this should be a five block space here and then a four block in this area now the door is going to be is set on the front just right here but You’re gonna want to put a log under it just to make it look a little bit better we’re gonna build all of these to be a total of three high no of course I keep forgetting I can fly because I’ve been creative I’ve been so used to just playing your standard survival minecraft But we’re gonna fill all these in with just logs light your planks like this and then where the door is we’re gonna fill it in just like that we shouldn’t put our door from the outside you want to put an upside-down stair and then place it from the inside and then I’ll Make your doors look a whole lot better it also gives you a little bit of room for something like this so we can put a little bit of an entrance on our house now we’re gonna be building windows in some areas in this build you just have To sort of decide for yourself where you want those windows to go I wouldn’t recommend having your windows anywhere other than where I’m putting them just because I want all the windows to be framed and this beautiful oak wood so we’re gonna take some glass panes just your standard color so hopefully That’s pretty simple you can get like six glass or six and and just smelt it with some oak wood and your furnace and you should be good to make some windows like this so again it’s gonna be a basic house this is not some extreme variant Of a house but we’re gonna put some cobblestone in the corners just like this and then we’re going to make sure that these stairs go up one each time now it’s gonna be a little complicated when you first start out but you want to make sure they go up three blocks just Like this just something like that and again will make it look better in just a moment here these are actually gonna want to start one block out so I am sorry I kind of messed up here that’s where your oak stairs are gonna go your oak stairs you’re supposed to start Right here these were just sort of there to frame it so I am sorry for that mistake if you built along with me it shouldn’t be too hard to change that but you want to put your stairs of oak just right here on this layer and then we’re Going to move one block outward and then do our layer of stone so basically what it does is it just sort of frames the roof and makes it look a little bit better obviously a roof of this caliber is not gonna be anything crazy but it’ll still Look good you want to take your full cobblestone block and just sort of connect that right there and then same with your full oak block just like this and then you can go ahead and just sort of connect the middle it’s really not that big of a deal and then I would just Build you the rest of your roof just like this just sort of connect it over and then in the middle and yeah it’s a very rudimentary basic house but at least it has a roof line and that doesn’t look too bad but if you look at It for the front you may be thinking you know that started it looks a little bad okay and I don’t I don’t think you’re wrong I’m trying to grab the full block of oak you want to make sure you fill in that full block of oak you may also want To extend these one up yeah obviously you can’t see it on the other side but on that side you may want to and now that this a little bit bigger you can add a little bit of a bigger window on that side and it looks pretty cool one Thing I would recommend doing is taking some slabs made of cobblestone and where you build those stairs just adding a little bit of slabs like that and it can kind of make your roof pop a little bit more and make it look a little bit more Whole oh I was gonna say a little bit more better but that’s not a that that’s not how English works where did I put the okay the slabs right here I just put a slab under each one of those now obviously you can’t put it right here But you could do something like that and maybe make it look a little bit better but let’s get to the inside and on the inside here I’m just gonna use basic cobblestone we’re not gonna use anything crazy this cobblestone like this again these are beginner houses so they’re not Gonna be anything too crazy but I don’t know I still think they’re pretty fun to build okay now we’re gonna take a bed and we’re going to put the bed in the back right here in the back corner we’re gonna take some chess because you can fit a ton of Chess in here even though it’s a starter house you can still fit a ton of chess and you can put them really wherever you want I think I’m gonna put them right here now they do block some windows but it’s okay and luckily for you those are stair Blocks at the top if you want to waste a little bit of your in beginning game wood you can do some trap doors like this and frame your chests and make them look a whole lot better just something like that and then over here I’d recommend putting your furnaces and then A crafting table so again there’s nothing too crazy in these because they’re just beginner houses if you’re looking for more advanced tutorials go check out my channel I have a ton of tutorials that are probably more suited for you if that’s what you’re looking for but just something like that you can Sort of stack up your furnaces and have fun you can really build them however you want but this is a pretty cool little starter house I wouldn’t mind limiting this for the first few days in Minecraft but let’s get on to house number three now as I’m looking at the Front of this I don’t like how that looks so I’d recommend just breaking it because it just makes it look a little bit odd I would recommend just doing it like that just how it was before is there a stir yeah there’s a half slab right there this shouldn’t be yeah this Looks a lot better and even if you didn’t like that you could just do a little little stairs like that and probably make it look a whole lot better but I don’t know you can sort of play around with it and see what you can do But you can pretty much do whatever and make it look at completely your own but let’s get on to house number three alright so house number three is gonna be one of those houses where it’s the end of the day and you didn’t realize this the end of the day and you really Need to have a house so what you do is you place up logs just like this just eight of them just like that and a little circle like this and then you essentially just place a trap door in the middle like right there and then you break down one two three four blocks Just like this and then you want to bring down this log right here and all you want to do is break out this little area right here we’re just gonna make a little three by four just like this so a little 3×4 like this so again Three by four and then you’re gonna want to fill in all these blocks with Oakwood just like this so you should have a little bit of Oakwood if you wanted to do this build if you don’t have access to Oakwood it’s really not that big of a Deal but we definitely need Oakwood for this or any other kind of wood I guess it really doesn’t matter obviously when I say Oakwood it applies to all sorts of wood but oak is gonna be working the best for us now the reason you go down for block system that you can’t see These from above and it’s gonna make your build look a whole lot more professional if you can’t see half of it from above we’re gonna be doing cobblestone on the floors now again this is a basic filled and it’s a starter build so don’t tell me in neo these Houses suck blah blah blah these are supposed to be for beginners and even if you’re not a beginner and you’re watching this you can still get some helpful you know tips and tricks and stuff like that now over here if you wanted to put chests in your wall you Just have to take some stairs very rudimentary and just sort of place the vacuum behind them too that’s optional obviously if you’re low on resources don’t do that but then you can fit a row of chests sort of seamlessly into your wall and the cool thing about building Underground is your furnaces can just go somewhere like that and then your crafting table could just go in the corner and you’ve got a very basic rudimentary underground first night shelter now if you don’t have a bed or anything it’s really not a big deal it’s Not gonna make or break this build but I would put your torches something like that and it should look pretty cool so hopefully you guys enjoyed house number three let’s get on to house number four okay now house number four is gonna be a super compact little teeny teeny tiny House it’s not gonna be something that looks super pretty but we’re gonna start off by just placing nine blocks of cobblestone just like this might as well line it up with the previous house just because OCD will put it something like that you’re gonna want to put your bed Here you’re gonna want to put your furnace and your crafting table on the ground and then your chest is going to be all I need to finish the bill before I do that we’re gonna put a log right here and we’re gonna put a log right Here I know it looks a little bit weird but trust me it works it works and then we’re gonna put some stairs and then we’re gonna put some stairs like this so I guess I sort of placed the cobblestone wrong but it’s it’s really okay and then we’re gonna take our door We definitely need a door so don’t don’t sleep on the door guys we’re gonna place it from the inside extend this log up this log up and this log up I didn’t put any logs in the corners so basically it should be a four by four with logs and Then you put stairs like this now the cool thing is you can sort of put these upside down stairs right here and it gives you the illusion that it’s cut out even more and it’s even smaller than it was previously now technically in 1.14 all you have to Do is just fill these in like this and it actually works as a house and that’s only because of the new update mechanics for when you crouch you’re 1.5 blocks high so you have a little teeny teeny tiny house and it really does work like you could put a torch down and you Essentially have a house oh do we have a chest no but well if you’re gonna have a house like this you probably don’t want to just but it’s a little teeny teeny tiny house but I’m not gonna do that because I feel like that’s just too small we’re going to extend these logs Up one block like this and then we’re gonna cap them with some slabs made of cobblestone so a pretty simple material I feel like most people have and then inside them we’re just going to line them up with some cobblestone just like this and then we’ll go up a half block Why not just add a little bit more depth to the roof and obviously it’s a very very very simple house you could do like something on the outside I’m sure but I really wouldn’t like again if you wanted to spruce it up and make it look a Little bit better go on the corners here and just add a few fences and you could make it look a little bit better than it did previously but again it’s not supposed to be something that looks super good technically you could okay here’s what I’m thinking if you have Your if you have your chests under your bed which oh that’s not the right block we need solid we need solid oak because we’re gonna put solid oak right here it’s a live experimentation I’m making up all these houses how they go by the way so if you think that they’re super Bad it’s probably cuz I haven’t planned them out okay now can I place the bed okay can you still access the chest under there you technically can but I wouldn’t recommend putting your chest under there I think it’d be better right here because then you could definitely access the crafting table and whatnot I would put your torch right there so you can access your crafting table and your furnace and your chest and your bed so I hope you guys liked house number four let’s get on to the fifth and final house of this tutorial series okay so the fifth and Phi House is definitely one of the most expensive houses I’m gonna show you how to build but it’s also one of the most cool houses I’m going to show you how to build so we’re gonna start off with one log we’re gonna count 1 2 3 and then We’re gonna place another and then we’re gonna count 2 and then we’re gonna place another and then you’re gonna count 1 2 3 4 place a log and then we’re gonna count 3 back just like this so the pattern is pretty simple there should just be a three space here and a two Space here and then a four space in the middle just like that if you guys want to pause it there and copy it just like that you want to build all these up to be a total of four blocks high so this is gonna be the most expensive house That I’m gonna show you guys how to build but arguably it’s one of the coolest starting houses it is completely feasible starting out I promise I could definitely do this on the first day it’s really not that hard you just have to prioritize getting a lot of glass and I Grabbed the wrong kind of glass we’re gonna take these glass panes and we’re just gonna fill them in just like that and you’re thinking you know this is a lot of glass for a free you know a starter house or whatever but the issue It or the the the only thing you have to do is just get a lot of sand when you start out you have to get wood a little bit of cobblestone and then some sand and maybe you can’t finish it on the very first night but you’ll be able to Finish it on the second night guaranteed I’ll give you the lead guarantee that’s my real name if you guys didn’t know about real day if it’s Lee but we’re gonna build another log just right here we’re gonna put an upside down stair and then we’re gonna fill in this entire Build with cobblestone just fill it in everywhere you see me do it something like that and then we’re gonna take a door now I think this is one of the most cool houses only because it implements so much class and a lot of the times you see wall materials that Aren’t just glass but glass just looks so good I’ve always loved the way glass looks and maybe you can consider it somewhat of a modern first date house I’m not really sure the material choice definitely doesn’t scream modern but it’s a pretty simple build and it looks Pretty cool so we’re gonna take some slabs now made of oak and the roof on this is going to be the most simple roof you’ve absolutely ever seen ever you also want to put a piece of glass above that so the roof on this we’re gonna go Around and we’re just going to place a layer of slabs just like this and essentially we’re gonna just fill all those slabs in and then we’re gonna extend one block out and it’s gonna be somewhat of a modern roof somewhat so we’re gonna go all the way around the Build and it’s just gonna be sticking one block out and he may be thinking you know that’s just a box with some slabs on top and you’re not wrong but again these are supposed to be sort of first night easy houses and if you prioritize getting glass and oak wood and a little Bit of cobblestone you can definitely complete this build if you don’t want to get the cobblestone you can always make the mine somewhere and you build like when you’re starting out and get it straight dig down there and I get the cobblestone you’re looking for I’m just Gonna fill them with cobblestone cuz I’m lazy but if we look at it from the outside it actually looks pretty cool right I mean it definitely stands out as a starter house I know it’s pretty simple it doesn’t have much framing it’s not fancy if you wanted to make it Fancier you could go around and play some stairs like this if you have a little bit of extra time on your first day and yeah you could fancy it up a little bit and make it look a tad bit better but again it’s supposed to be a Starter house supposed to be very simple it’s not gonna be anything crazy I knew I knew it there’s an ant crawling on me is there an ant on my leg – I feel like there’s been an ant on me this entire time there there was there was an ant on Me there were two ants on me I need to figure out where these ants are coming from I believe I moved to a new apartment and there’s just these ants so they’re little teeny tiny they’re not too bothersome they don’t really do anything bad but it’s just like I don’t Want ants on me I don’t think anyone does so I place your bed at the back right here and as you can see chests don’t really sorry as you can see chests do not stick to this glass pane like for instance a full block does so your Chests are gonna be I would put them up against your walls now I know this is a lot of chests for a starter house I agree so you might not need this mini but just to give you an idea of how expandable this house is you can fit a Lot of really cool stuff you could even fit two beds if you wanted to it really is up to you if you’re playing multiplayer and you want to do two beds go for it I’m gonna take some furnaces here and we’re just going to stack up three furnaces and three furnaces and there And take some crafting tables and I just slap those down under them and then in the corner here again like if you just have a bed or something it’s completely fine you don’t need a bunch of stuff you could put a bed here and then maybe a Rare chest full of stuff and you could do a stack of chests full of stuff it really doesn’t matter but you can expand the space to be absolutely massive I’m just giving you some ideas at this point but as far as the interior goes it’s pretty flexible and even if you wanted To get underground at some point you could go like right here and I have a little bit of a mind so I might as well add that real quick because this video isn’t too too long and I’m sure you guys don’t mind watching this if you like my Voice then you won’t mind at all but we’ll just paint this little log down here and then put a little bit of some ladders and down there you could start your mind how I would do it if the start is just sort of make a staircase down to Layer 12 start strip mining and get a few things but yeah hope you guys enjoyed this little series of five houses I thought it was pretty fun just to sort of let my creativity flow and make up five houses as I go if you guys enjoyed this video and you want to see More tutorials from me be sure to click hold on if you want to see more tutorials from
