Minecraft – All Battle Mode Maps In Vanilla Texture Pack

Hello I’m AVX alaikum welcome back somebody else then we talking about and showing you each of the battle maps which doesn’t use the default page back except in the vanilla or default textures the reason this is a fun thing to do is because first of all it’s a

Cool way to see each of the maps which are designed around to the texture pack kind of turn into default so you can see exactly what the books are to make certain effects and certain things happen like this er clown face right here but the second reason and you know

Some of the more fun reason is just to look at each of the battle maps exactly what they would look like if they were to vote because one of the things I think is important when it is on your map is to make sure it can be turned to

The default texture it’s just in case that something you decide to do you know about being ruined too much however because if you’re making something that can only be made for one type act like they can do right here they don’t really consider that too much

So it’s kind of fun to check out all of these maps in the default and kind of see just how ruin they actually ask that’s we’re doing in slaves video hopefully you’ll do enjoy likely if you do because it helps out the channel and let’s Nate do you like seeing you know

Battle maps be ruined with the default texture pack so yeah the way I got these just in case you’re curious is you know downloaded maps again free 60 thing it’s a thing I’ve got right here so I am in crates because I do this no I’m back so

And also the second link in mines I’m doing every map the slides the festive map because I don’t have a download that yeah and also it’s mostly covered by the festive mashup packs I figured let’s just start with the Halloween one the most recent before that which as you can

See right here is massively changed from the Halloween you know you know map to this sort of Halloween no texture pack to this one right here and the big change besides you know looking the builds which actually remain you know somewhat soon or at least like oh yeah that’s

Still made from spruce that’s still a mushroom that’s the clown face most things look kind of similar just a little bit kind of downgraded but the big thing you’ll notice is the occurring of the map so obviously the Halloween Tesh pack or the mashup pack texture

Pack thing is one of the very few texture packs which does a which actually adds sorry a giant orange filter to everything so everything just goes really bright orange it makes things a little bit harder to see which bet we can kind of similar if like the

Dark who said and as you can see like this it’s like that kind of vision but with orange and yeah basically this means that if you can see the map that daytime like we just did you get a lot more vision and the map becomes a little

Bit more clear like this is one of the more confusing Maps there’s a lot of stuff I still haven’t really explored I don’t think like oh I didn’t know that was a chess set or just now or I guess I’ve just never cleaned up there there’s

A few things like that where I’ve you know not probably explode it because it’s darker and it’s hard at work this stuff out but yeah if this as you can see from singing though you can see stuff like that however you know while focusing on the stuff like oh that’s a

Questionable butch at bell choice first of all they use gravel at the spawn how could they why would they be yeah they’ve code the map and grabber which you can only really spot in the default which I guess mean has a good texture and they you know

Halloween one so I guess there’s that going for it the second thing you’ll notice is the fact that there’s a lot of like random pumpkins thrown into like builds like on these flags up here you notice like up there and there’s a bunch of like pumpkins all around the place which I

Guess a design to blend in just a little bit better there and yeah you’ll also notice appear for builds aren’t you know quite as bright or colorful you’re in the tender intended kind of colors as you might expect and it means that everything it just has this like visual

Downgrade so like that for instance not nearly as intimidated and boys would be the trees although they look just about fine they’re not quite as intimidating as their voice could be and that is kind of the kind of theme of this texture Packer some of the stuff

Works pretty well in the Halloween stuff but not quite what someone in the vanilla but this isn’t the worst will be saying because next we’re gonna be moving into the metal man pack for we’ve shrunk so let’s go there now so here we are now on shrunk or to be more accurate

Just outside the front door a shrunk and yeah they really should about this map to me at least when you load it in the regular crates of stuff is you can see how the you know the game is loading like cubic Chomper cubit chunks so the

Stuff in the sky just takes ages and ages to load like these box over here which kind of froze the end the way yeah let’s let’s walk into the map itself because I’m sure you want to see you know the stuff you’re familiar with but

In the default texture so as you can see because it uses the plastic pressure pack which is very heavily based on tuple one it doesn’t look too bad you can even argue this is how it’s meant to look in fact apart means make thinking like right now like Oh am I

Sure I got this right but I am because you can see there’s a lot of stuff which is just a little rough around the edges but still like I said this entirely holds up in the default texture pack and you know even if you okay – a few things

Like that like the round grass block but yeah it holds up entirely besides just a few little you know roughness around the edges but everything is still visible in the same we’d expect it some we can still tell this is a keyboard and that’s similar to of a giant dirt block we can

Still tell those are meant be squids and Ocelot you do a little flush and like a pig and stuff and that’s really intriguing to me the fact that you know despite you know there’s being so much but one to this it still looks entirely fine and arguably you know a lot not

Very well ugly but I don’t give in a lot of senses it’s better so you know look the fact that the maps a little bit you should see the fact that like that dinosaur wait never mind this is our first major mistake so stuff like this which is meant be slightly changed

Doesn’t really work so well stuff like the textbooks they’re not working amazingly but still everything is just about working and again there’s a lot of things that I do make me prefer this like if I could play in the default age pack I would accept that just because I

Really am NOT big fan the plastic and that’s a that’s something kind of cool that you can say this so yeah this is uh this is a shrunk right here as you can see looking pretty normal normal and steel like everything just about holds up exactly the same

Which is something I was not expecting going in this I was expecting just a few changes here and there but I guess yeah the plastic text packed interchange so this isn’t quite so fun but maybe you did see something you didn’t spot before but let’s move on something that is more

Exciting which is obviously gonna be the Chinese mythology battle map valley so immediately on bali you can see there’s just a slight you know kind of change in the in mythical nature of it so like oh we’re in like a giant stone cave thing but the big things I need to see are

Both the Dragons this one over here the blue and diamond dragon actually you know it’s not looking Tokyo nevermind I can tell you it’s the eyes is not looking too awful the dragon shape is still there but it’s clearly it’s got a bit more rough around the edges and then

The red dragon looks like this which actually yeah a little bit better you know my opinion like this is an entirely justifiable dragon design like I could see someone building this it wouldn’t be amazing if someone did it but it would just about work so okay we’ve got two

Nice dragons but now we’re gonna focus on the builds around the map because as you can all tell that like the hills and those Stone Mountain it just isn’t working as well as it’s been intended but you know for instance this you know building over here let’s see what’s

Going on so first of all you’ve made from bedrock which is an incredibly ugly block in the default textures so not really doing too well there we’ve got a bunch of ores randomly in the wall because reasons I guess then they’re meant to work in the regular one but

They don’t really here then of course on the top floor because you know kick climb up the stairs let’s do it this way on the top floor we got a bunch of iron bars and in general this is just very ugly interior designing if you’re in the

Default texture pack so yeah not a big bad don’t switch from Chinese interior designs to default ones apparently that’s that’s a bad mistake so as well as that we’ve also got this building over here which as you can see just about looks okay until you get to the

Green stained-glass area where it’s like oh that’s a bit of a weird choice and then more green thing class but still you know just about holding up and tons to build structure itself because again they built using you know half slabs the way that makes it almost stand up

Normally except again here a little bit not in the same case and then also in the background here of the piston building yeah looks just about okay when you’re playing the map normally but kind of looks bad even the Chinese one and looks really weird in our place in the

Default – back like it looks like a building of like eyebrows and it’s weird stuff so yeah as far as the valley map goes I don’t think you know we have got the same level ruination that you would the you know like the mashup acts earlier on but we have ghost level where

It’s like oh yeah this is slightly encompass as you know regular map I’d be like oh yeah this is something so embell well doing a pretty good job evidently but like you know it doesn’t the wow factor of the same map which I guess you can’t really expect it to but it’s it’s

Several levels below that and there’s a lot of stuff that’s just like oh why would anyone their right mind pick that and yeah again I guess texture pack is the reason but still rubber ensuring to me let’s move on to map map map pack free I guess it would be and probably shipyard

So yeah this is shipyard right here it’s meant to use the steampunk texture pack the only battle map to do so actually and it’s a pretty nice map in terms of like I guess the overall design the background like you know that ships looking fine from over here that clock

Is looking fine and over here but are all the fine details just like that I’m not so convinced because the ax first thing you see is like we’re actually standing on beacons right now which is a very bizarre choice in of itself like just oh yeah let’s all spawn beacons but

I guess that’s what’s going on there you see some gold here and it’s low okay I guess this is a thing and then finally you get to the captain ship and it’s just like everything’s on fire and those paintings around I guess the protocol supply spreads men feel oops oh wait you

Know it is up so okay there everything is just on fire for some reason and yeah also everything’s on fire and there’s a bunch of paintings which don’t really make too much sense but I guess you know it’s forgivable there’s a painting fee let’s look at the

Actual builds of the stuff itself and see how that gets along so as you can see every single building is just crashing massively of each other we’ve got this build made out of like brick of it in fact Muslim zooming up brick in some form but

It’s brick next to stone bricks next to cobblestone and Endocyte and then there’s random pistons in the wall and oh it’s it’s it’s just not working a fairly well with it and then we got some dark oak or some stained glass yeah we’ve basically the key point you’re

Saying here is that in the steampunk text pack clearly this stuff works a bit better together because here it’s just like the you know it’s like someone was just picking random blocks and it’s like oh yeah let’s go with brick next to jungle wood next to what is that like spruce wood

Next to stained clay and pistons – apparently this soft stuff just clearly doesn’t work – well we’re in the deportation pack so as well as um you know this bizarre stuff over here we’ve got this building right here which is actually made of gravel that’s right you

Know in that video I was like I totally recommended you can make a gravel house they actually did they made a house out of gravel why why would you that’s that’s just the thing that did here and you can see it oh right it’s no gravel up there it’s

Like and a site and then gravel some reason that’s a weird little thing I’ve always grab all the way down so sooner yeah basicly they made a house out of gravel which is probably the the biggest sin any map can make it’s pretty nice little dome over here though

Besides the walls so yeah that is this thing over here and honestly I think that’s gonna summarize my opinion this whole thing they made a house out of gravel how could they like I mean you can look at these airships and be like well I guess that’s kind of nicely done

Then you know this one here also kind of works and it all does just about you know get pulled off like even this clock over here I actually kind of liked it I think you know making a giant clock is actually a good idea for any some level

Well in fact yeah I think I’ll do that some point as a just a little thing I pick up right now but in terms of like the way the builds are colored like oh not so fond of that the way the center set up not so great and the gravel house

Why why would you yeah so yeah that is of course the the Steampunk texture pack map the shipyard next up I believe we have innovation so here we are now on invasion which as you can tell is a nighttime map and is also loading him very slowly okay a little bit by little

Bit this is on a 360 so honestly that’s not not look at the faster speed it could this is even slower than I’d usually expect no way yeah this is invasion the map set around the flying saucer and the crashes and I think I might shut this you know off in a

Default a pack before perhaps a shop how it’s done I could be wrong on that night mmm oh no I did something with this to show you like oh yeah here’s all that looks like in daytime so we’ll be relatively quick with this because yeah you’ll notice how this is one of those

Builds where even though it was you know designed for the I’m not I’m sure which tech spec it is I think it might be like the the natural texture pack or something in those designed for a you know different expect it still looks pretty fine for the most part in the

Regular one like oh and also probably should have fire spreads off against otherwise stuff like that happens yeah it looks just about fine in the normal one because you can see you know most the building blocks well kind of a kind of complementary anyway like you know cobblestone

Sandstone not so sure about that but for instance you know just like there’s just occasionally slew building yeah it’s just about holds up and everything in this map is very visible right now and in fact I think this is mostly just useful to kind of get a feel for the map

And how things actually are and more interesting to me than any Theatro you know texture changes in this r1 this thing which I only actually just spotted right now and to the idea of the interiors of the buildings that are being torn apart because if you look

Towards them you can see how they’re mostly not visible they’re like kind of sailed like a you know set would be you know you can only see the front half for the camera and it’s it’s very interesting how you see that about every building whether it details if it

Doesn’t need to be there it’s not but in in some cases like this one you know they clearly did have to go in and just build a bunch of tables and a bunch of chairs and stuff like that which is very very interesting beer this map does about okay in the

Deportation pack actually but perhaps the next one which is gonna be a Greek measure pack one won’t fare so well because we’ve got Atlantis coming up next so this is Atlantis Atlantis is really significant because it’s the only map to have double chess when you play

The ape ever and anyway and it’s also pretty significant fair using the Greek masher pack which notoriously doesn’t really work quite so well and doesn’t really like play but when you use it outside of this and the spawn area already is kind of showing that with the

Glowstone you know we’re not kind of clashing with the stuff the fact that it’s bricks into mossy bricks into regular bricks into yeah I would say it’s not the best of there you know stuff going on this look at the rest of the map which going this direction is

Giving us a bad already because as you can see this just looks entirely different to the map but I think I’m Millie with like I’m generally lost like I don’t think I’ve seen this film before because of how different air she looks yeah we look over here like oh I guess

This does make a bit more sense cuz we’ve got we got this area over here oh yeah it doesn’t this all make sense now so yeah this map is really really you know like definitely not designed for to fall in any sense of the word I mean

None of the mahram that’s some of the fun of this but in this case like the the clashing of the textures is just kind of again painful to look at because then you see this and you like oh but that just about makes sense until you

Look all around it and you just say oh yeah this this is definitely a no-go and I think this map can be easily summarized as like ah yeah Greek Greek mashup back to pull my ship back not a very good combination as it turns out would not recommend it all especially

When you get to stuff like this oh the the lily pads into the okay here we go this nail in the coffin again as soon as you find gravel you’ve missed bad gravel with the sand going through it of like a little bit the creek 12

Maybe it works just fine in the Greek one I’ve never paid too much attention I guess but I’m really not sure it works too well here so yeah this is the you know the Atlantis map pretty bad but perhaps not as bad as our next one which

Is going to be I guess as you know we’re gonna go back to a siege now from I finless fantasy so it actually worked pretty well hopefully so this right here is siege siege is an amazingly fun you know battle map for a bunch of reasons I really do quite

Okay I love the design that kind of splits it right down the middle from you know like this you know cool kind of firm app with lots of stuff going here to this side of the map we’re just very open everything can see every one and the other thing about this maps I’ve

Really liked in terms of design is the fact that unlike other maps where it’s just generally blue yellow red and you know green on each side but you know this map definitely still does that as you can see red cárcel green kind of banners they’re blue you know a little

Bit of the despot you can see how every map kind of divides it that way so you can be like I’m on the yellow side come over here but this map also make it even easier to work out which side you’re on it has these beacons where as you can

See blue green red and yellow yeah let’s look at the map and kind of compare it from its default texture pack which is fancy to the default vanilla texture pack I guess so yeah looking around the place you can see that it’s just a bit messier towards the I like it doesn’t

Really look like anything’s going on here you just kind of see like oh yeah a girl a bunch of woods everywhere cuz who ever liked building it had a word everywhere which you know obviously not quite so vibrant and the textures when you see this side it’s like oh yeah these are

Relatively nice houses again sandstone and brick it’s not the best especially with acacia walls it’s not the best you know stair things but I guess it doesn’t clash as badly as it could Ellis knows badly some things we’ve seen look this problem here and yeah as you can see

Like it just about holds up from the roofs cuz you can only see like oh yeah Brett you know some we got some red and we got some gun on there but as you actually like explore the map on foot you can see how just everything is just

A few steps worst like okay we’re standing on the Pistons which just doesn’t work quite so well the center area again not really doing quite so amazing but then we look at any you know main element off the geography or off the scenery off just any build

And it’s just like oh yeah this it’s not you know very very very very much worse than you would normally expect and like the Pistons over here all that stuff basically that’s the point I’m trying to raise right here it’s it’s it’s it’s a good good enough you know representation

Of what it was before but it lost all of the details which made it a good build you know this has gone from being something it was well made to something that like I guess almost thrown together because they want to build castle and I guess that’s what you’d get when you do

This also as you notice it’s got the sin of having paintings everywhere so when you change them to default you’ve just got a bunch of like woman in blacks on the wall which I guess they’re gonna be everywhere too which is also verbs are and then when you also look at the walls

This is made from angles of sandstone along the top which is the choice no one would make normally and then over here it’s like a similar thing with its cobblestone walls sandstone very bizarre stuff going around there oh yeah it’s just a few more things like the cannons up here looking pretty good

Like the thing over there the cannon over there and one thing about this map which i think is a disappointment is the fact that this in castle they look like they’re so similar and so close because there’s a castle over there but the fingers is over here what

You’d expect castle to be there’s nothing and it’d be really cool to me if like a little easter egg was that a car saw the entire map existed in these same you know kind of area as siege but it does not and yeah that’s kind of that

Also what we’re out what we’re outside the map anyway let me quickly point out that it’s really bizarre that we have this part of the map over here but one is cut off at the top there but yeah – it’s just like this map goes way further this way despite there being no

Particularly Simba cuz if you look at the viewing angles on the map you know the closest you can get up to there is maybe here and I don’t know if you can truly ever see like you can’t actually see past there so maybe at some point in

The maps element or you know maybe just in case they figure maybe you see free there from like hey yeah I’m not sure where you’d even see that from I guess from over here you can technically just about see through there but you’re not you’re down here so if you’re looking

Through the trees you can see there which makes me think that either you know they just put it on there and then river or at some point they extended the castle and you were gonna be able to see past it I know I don’t know for sure

Blake do like you know I can’t say I like too much about the map itself but I really like how this castle looks even in the default cash back so go go siege for you know defying expectations or something like that anyway we’ve got two more maps to go through now they’re both

From map pack 1 they are there and they are the medusa maps let’s go to layer first and now a fancy one because I like the fancy section Solaire looks very very different in its voltage back already it’s something I didn’t even realize but apparently you

Know the whole map has been built out stained clay this whole time which as you can see has a very very tacit yeah it’s it’s it’s I feel it’d be kind of like the you know the siege map but as you can see it’s taking a massive downgrade from that already and

Everything just has this very bizarre I guess bright orange tone to it which Oh you know in some ways makes it a nicer volcano but in some ways just makes it kind of more weird but you know what no hits just talk about the orange let’s look at everything else like the dragons

Go over I guess dinosaur whichever one you want to believe it is as you can see that’s looking just fine and you know long skeleton in fact it’s a really nice building with a little egg stuff until you get to the head where like oh okay I

Guess this is made from is that white stained clay or like peach stained clay I know what color stained clay that she is I guess it is white as you can see doesn’t really blend so well with the you know the courts and over here and also like with the wall where it’s

Bright orange you just get this kind of like mess for your like what’s what’s going on there and the transect question is when I’m not sure I entirely can get so oh yeah that is of course the Dragons that but let’s look at theirs from the rest of

Map see if and vanassa’s going well this over here again know a thing where like they’ve got lots of women in black on the walls which I guess is meant to be the you know the racks of weapons maybe or someone like that we’ve got some very colorful backgrounds to chest like this

Like woohoo well it’s meant to be going on there and in general I think this may be one of the worst you know combinations of things because although you can see everything just bow makes sense when you look at the actual floor she walk a lawyer it’s just a bizarre

Mashup of just blocks that make no sense together like you know carpet into stone and into orange and like it’s very very bizarre when you’re in the binetex back and I think obviously this one was built very very much with her fence same line and again that’s that’s not surprising

Rent these it’s just sometimes you can tell it’s even more than others so yeah this is a curious the whole cave is built out of coal blocks and if you look outside of those I believe there’s nothing outside this map it’s just Co on

– Oh on to soup flat which is made from brown stone clay if I’m not mistaken which is pretty cool the only map made with a super flat from Browns tinkly apparently that’s a little treatment to have and yeah you’d also see how they kind of like built into this and if we

Dig a few blocks this way we’ll eventually find our way into the map and to a random lava pit which I just found as I was doing that you see that there’s that random pit of lava just of it up but the lighting so yeah this entire map

Is actually lit by her stuff like that so you can see there’s black stained glass which is very hard to spot Nick’s the stir this up and actually kind of works right there so I guess that’s one lesson you can learn from this for vanilla use black stained glass next to

Coal and you can have lava that looks like it should pour out but isn’t so that’s kind of cool I guess let’s move on to the final map which is going to be Medusa so this is Medusa but obviously no Greek texturepack gone Rose was here

Just a lot of regular stuff and honestly the just immediately you can tell the entire design the map has changed and so buying this white sheen to it it’s got a very grey stone ish thing instead but honestly isn’t too bad on the surface like it’s like I’m Matt Farah and I kind

Of liked it on the surface so I guess that’s something going for it and we look on every side of the map every side has a very different kind of take on it so that’s got some weird stained clay that’s got some brick stairs that like kind of

Clash in a weird way that one just has some I guess green and black same play and then over here we’ve got the yes the skeleton no sir snake lady mouth which actually looks just about fine here so yeah again I kind of like the inside of this maybe

Not so much one get to there but waiting from the outside I can at least comment that say hell better than I figured we can look at the snakes besides that one and say oh they look just about okay a few weeks I guess no actually they’re

Pretty bad for snakes cuz they just have pumpkins fried oh I guess they’re jack-o’-lanterns and that’s kind of that so yeah that’s all of your snake stuff going on here and then you look at the hair and it’s like oh I guess that’s kind of acceptable but except not really

And yeah you look around every kind of corner of this map and you see the exact same thing where you know like it’s it’s just about acceptable if that’s what you’re really looking for but not really massively like again I I think this is better than I was expecting by a massive

Margin but we still have just can’t the era of like the entire map color is off so it’s very different that way and there’s just so much you know random blocks which don’t make any sensor and the surtex back right here like you know random purple stained clay like that

Just looks kind of odd and that’s that’s at least something to learn if you’re using the Greek measure PAC apparantly you can mix you know stained clay into bricks and it’s gonna work just about fine or at least it does you know the way we’re are used to the map which is a

Very interesting little thing right there so I just in case you are curious let’s look outside the map because I know ever know it’s always curious about that as you can see it’s inside this like weirdly shaped cave like it’s like stone and it’s very bizarre stuff like I think

This is like a artificial extreme Hills that they got rid of the stuff on top off because you know there is stuff like yes sir yeah as you can see kind of nice nicer man I was expecting not the worst but we went for today in fact I think

That honor probably might even just go to evil air which was pretty darn bad or the Steampunk one I’m not sure for certain but let me know the comments down below what you think anyway this has been all the battle map texture packs but sorry better map maps put with
