Minecraft ASMR | Tingly Whispered Exploration in Pixel Paradise! (Caves & Cliffs Part 2 Update 1.18)

Hello my friends it’s nick the a s m r nerd and a welcome back to minecraft yes we are back in pixel paradise and it has been quite a while hasn’t it like half a year or something for which i must apologize um i just hadn’t really had a good reason to come

Back to minecraft i guess um up until now well that’s that’s not true many of you had requested that we come back to minecraft and that is a very good reason but uh we have another good reason now which is uh a new update that just came out the caves and cliffs

Cliffs and caves updates part two i can’t remember if it’s caves and cliffs or cliffs and caves anyway there are cliffs there are caves and there is a part to update which brings a whole lot of stuff it sounds like um including some massively improved terrain generation which should increase the

Height of the world as well as the like the maximum height as well as the deepest and add some new biomes like uh tall snowy mountains and uh overall all cave generation as well with some much more um epic sort of deeper crazier caves and some lush

Uh caves and all kinds of good stuff so i thought this would be a great time to return to pixel paradise and you might know we have in fact returned to the fairy world which i played last time which uh i i almost didn’t i almost started a new map but i refrained

Aren’t i good uh i came back to the map that that i played the last couple of episodes on um because i figured you guys probably get sick of me restarting the map like every time i come back to minecraft uh apparently this version update with the new terrain generation um

Is compatible with old maps so if we go far enough afield we will see some new stuff if you’re interested in watching the last couple of episodes i’ll put links down in the video description for you but we haven’t really done that much here to be honest we built our

Little first night novel here and uh and then we we um explored down down down down this pretty epic ravine here which uh we we built a little mining station down there let’s just go take a look um to remind ourselves uh what we had built and um and

Perhaps how did i actually get down now oh i know i think no did i yeah i think i might have taken the waterfall to get down yeah because that’s where we want to be down there and there’s a waterfall that flows down just the other side of this wall i think

Let’s try this let’s go back up and see um a couple of things are different though this time um one i have a new texture pack that i’m using so uh well a new old texture pack okay let’s back it up a second for starters this is minecraft bedrock edition and it’s running

In rdx mode so it’s got all the ray tracing goodies with uh physically accurate bounced lighting and reflections and ambient occlusion and all that good stuff global elimination um and uh i discovered that one of my favorite old-school texture packs john smith legacy had recently been converted for

The rtx mode so that’s what we’re running here uh it’s kind of a medieval style texture pack and uh i really love it it’s it’s one of my all-time favorites so i was pretty thrilled to see that there was a an rtx conversion for it that adds all kinds of special effects

Like um glow maps specular maps um uh normal maps that kind of stuff too the base john smith legacy texture pack which then allows for all kinds of fun rdx effects which you guys will see as we play uh the other thing that’s a little different is i’m playing with a

Controller this time which maybe you could tell from the motions i’m trying it out because i think it might be a little smoother and more relaxing because it’ll be a little bit quieter than my clicky clicky mouse and i hope that you guys enjoy that please do let me know if that’s

Something that you would like me to continue doing now um awkwardly yeah it is it is uh getting dark we have done nothing except uh wander around and ramble a bit and uh it is already nighttime so let’s come back to our little novel here and let’s sleep there we go

Uh it is a new day and it is still raining although the rain sound effects are nice so i i can’t complain about that too much uh so uh so so so let’s head down here hopefully uh don’t run into any issues as we descend this this weirdly reflective waterfall

You know the rtx looks really cool but it’s kind of a little glitchy inside waterfalls it seems um but i’m just gonna let myself slowly glide down this waterfall here gently gently oh okay this is where we want to get off this is our stop nope oh perfect okay that worked out great

So this is where we were last time i think we played um we had our little underground base down here and uh yeah we’ve got a bunch of bunch of stuff in here um i think what we’re going to do today we could keep exploring down here but i really

Would like to see some of this new terrain and see if we can find some exciting parts unknown so i think i’m just gonna load up with uh what i can carry here take it all up to our base uh top side there and then uh

Decide what i want to take on our adventure and and then we’ll head off into the wild blue yonder so uh there’s gotta be a button to just automatically transfer things right on the controller let’s see okay that splits the stack there we go why i mean the y button

Transfers things not why but why i um probably just fit all this um i don’t know why i’m bringing all the cobwebs but you never know you might need compliments right oops nothing in there yeah i’m not used to playing with the controller so please do bear with me while i press the

Wrong buttons repeatedly okay well that’s everything really i mean we’ll leave the chests and such but um yeah that’s pretty much that there is a lot more of this mind to explore down here um we barely brushed the surface of it but um we will come back sometime we shall return

But like i said i’m just so excited to see some of this new epic terrain i’ve seen a lot of people talking about it and posting screenshots and seeds and stuff of really cool places they found with this new terrain generation so i am all about that okay um you’re zombies let’s uh

Swim back up the waterfall i guess i suppose that’s how we did it last time i don’t really remember but seems sketchy but uh wow we actually swim up pretty fast it’s faster than i remember it being oh oops but uh just like that uh the wolfy he’s so cute

He’s like a boy you’re a good boy uh i how do we tame wolves cooked beef is he looking at me for here do you want this i don’t think so will you follow me if i have this i i actually haven’t the famous clue how to tame wolves

Oh it’s so cute the little head tilts here i want to i want to feed you but i don’t know how oh i think i just ate the beef no i won’t give it to here he doesn’t want it he definitely is interested in it though i don’t want to accidentally like hit

Him with it i should probably go look this up you guys are probably screaming at me it’s like super easy or something what if i just go this way will you follow no too bad puppy i want a puppy maybe i need something else like a leash i don’t know

Can you tell i’ve really not played minecraft for years like i’ve played it a little bit but i’ve not played it seriously for a very long time i know wolves have been in the game since like i don’t know 2014 or something probably ah well okay that’s right okay we

Have quite a bit of loot uh i’m just gonna take all this stuff and just kind of slam it in here oops and uh then we’ll just have to pick what we actually want from from uh what we’ve got just try and clear up inventory space a little bit you know okay so

So so so so um we have a full set of iron armor which is pretty solid to start with um we’ve got some stone tools i don’t know why i’m using stone but that’s fine uh torches basic building materials some food that’s good so that’s a solid solid compliment to start with

Um but we should probably bring some wood we’re gonna want that wherever we go and we’re gonna want some coal wherever we go for sure i’m not sure if we’re gonna be gone for a long time or just a little while we’re just gonna have to find out

We have some emeralds and diamonds i guess we better better bring our diamonds and emeralds huh and um and whatever iron ore i guess you can bring the gold do we not have any any iron ore i mean we have the um the unsmelted blocks here but i’m

Shocked that we don’t have any any ingots i should say i guess i guess we used it all in our armor maybe that’s why we’re using nothing but stone tools okay uh let’s bring another stack of coal we’ll bring some chests because we’ll probably use those you know what we’ll even bring some

Doors because um we’re gonna need to build a base somewhere ah probably don’t really need the flint or the rails or anything definitely not cobwebs might as well bring the cooked pork the golden horse armor and the golden apple they can stay here maybe we’ll just come back for them sometime uh

And i guess we’ll bring the iron ore we’ll probably get some more some more okay good enough whatever there’s plenty of stuff to keep us alive for a while okay hello sheepy i won’t attack it um all right so where are we gonna go to where shall we set off um

We’ve we’ve actually been this way um if you if you recall the last episode actually we uh plundered a desert temple right over there you can just see in the distance by my crosshair so we’ve been quite a ways that direction so i’m thinking if we want new terrain

We need to go somewhere we’ve not really been um we’ve clearly generated some terrain off that way i think we wandered a little ways that way let’s head this way let’s head this way i don’t think i don’t think we’ve been very far this way oh except it’s already nighttime again isn’t it

I’m very slow about things which is fine i mean this is an asmr video but okay fine we’ll go to bed and we will sleep and we will get up in the morning and we will start our adventure it’s always good to start a adventure on a fresh new day right um

I appear to be stuck okay oh i guess a bed would be good to bring huh that would be smart actually do we have any wool i should have brought the bed from down though it’s terracotta okay well maybe we do have to go share some sheep then share some sheep

That’s not what i meant to bring this year is the shears and let’s go sheep shearing so much for starting our new adventure i promise we will eventually i promise promise promise okay come here gpgp i need your soft walls right in the butt him right in the butt

I think that was actually two yes we need one more white tool block in order to make a bed there’s got to be another sheep out here somewhere i mean i see one sheep identified um there we go there had to be some way to sprint with the controller target locked

Got me a sheep but there we go okay uh we will head back we will make ourselves a bed we will take said bed with us i just figure it’s better to have a bed with us than panic and have to try and make one out in the wilderness once the uh

Night starts to fall and we’re far away from home so all right for that matter actually it’d probably be wise to have a crafting table with us as well uh yeah they’re a bear bed and let’s just bring a crafting table too okay we are well equipped

I guess we’re bringing this now we don’t whatever we’ll bring the shears to who cares who cares might as well okay okay say goodbye to our first little home it might be a while before we see it again it’s time to go adventuring this way we’re gonna have to go quite a

Distance i think to get to the new terrain generation because i’m sure it’s generated sort of a a radius around us you know i know she’d be that sheep’s butt wall is safe i have what i need okay so there’s a desert over there and that must have generated before

In the before times before the update um so let’s keep going this way oh we’ve got more desert and an ocean and a bunny rabbit a bunny spazzy little guy okay i feel like we’re starting to get somewhere um i guess because we’re in the desert

The uh rain has stopped oh what’s that okay so that looks like a like a savannah type oh look a village i don’t know if you saw or heard that little uh achievement thing pop up but i guess somehow sharing a sheep gave me an achievement

Um we’ve also okay wow there’s lots of exciting stuff over here we’ve got a jungle oh and here comes the rain again uh a jungle we’ve got a village over there and then there is all that savannah over there oh dolphins look cute and fishies yeah i’ve really not played much

Minecraft for a long time so all this is kind of newish and exciting-ish to me um oh a tropical bird he’s so pretty hello birdie oh it’s cute dang minecraft’s so cool these days you guys i don’t have any food for you i don’t think you eat meat

It would be very cruel for me to try and feed you chicken i think it was a pretty birdie uh also also look oh my god it just rolled uh pandas and a cow that’s trying to pass itself off as a panda they haven’t noticed yet what the heck’s going on over here

What the hecky what the hecky oh yeah i have also barely played since the crazy nether update so that stuff’s all new to me too and i think this might be like a lost nether thing portal oh look at all that bamboo what the frick i’ve never seen a biome like this before

What is even happening here we will go explore that village don’t worry i i have not forgotten but this got my eye and i need to see what it is i must know uh okay this is kind of spooky i don’t actually know what the deal is with these like

We got obsidian and some kind of block i don’t know what this is and a bunch of nether stuff netherrack i guess um and a gold block up there i suppose looking very nice oh gosh i guess i shouldn’t stand on that the smoking blocks okay all right fair enough um

I don’t know if there’s like something i’m supposed to be doing or finding around here i don’t think i possess the tools to acquire any of these blocks just right now but uh we’ll make a mental note that this is there this is weird this cobblestone area i wonder if this

Is like the terrain blending at the edge of our old terrain generation and then and then i wonder if if this this crazy bamboo forest is all new that i am not sure about what i am sure of is that there are more pandas here and i’m all about it

I’m all about it also that the frame rate is quite variable at the moment for some reason it was running very smoothly and now it appears to have oh very strange now we’re back to smooth okay i’m getting very excited here that’s pretty haphazard exploration going on because i’m just getting

Distracted by every little thing i see um but what i do know is that i want to get to that village i want to get that village i also want the frame rate to stop being weird like this it was so consistent and clearly something is causing it to

Not be i’m not sure what that is really hoping that on your end the viewers and um this hasn’t uh caused issues with the video capture sometimes when it drops frames the video capture gets real chunky and uh so hopefully that’s not what’s happening here because it

Okay and now we’re back smooth again that’s real pretty look at that some very dramatic lighting going on here let’s head across this whoa deceptively dark and scary ocean okay oh gosh oh gosh there’s drowned dead oh god oh god i didn’t even plan for this and tonight is falling cool cool

Uh we’re just gonna we’re just gonna try desperately to get to that village before night falls fully i think we’re gonna fail i can’t help but feel like day night cycles are shorter than they used to be oh god there’s a zombie oh there’s two zombies

Or that night falls a lot faster than i remember it falling previously this village looks very cozy i really hope that they’re welcoming this isn’t a bunch of angry villagers or something that would really ruin my plan here okay i think we’re safe question mark maybe ah there is a bright illuminated

Building over here let’s go there that seems like probably somewhere somewhere i could Spend the night uh knock knock hello oh gosh oh that’s a little silly what’s the kitty cat where are all the villagers though huh it’s just here okay let’s uh just fall down that hole again that’s what i meant to do this is a silly house let’s find a better one

This one looks cozy it also has a chest there’s the door oh there’s the villager sleeping hello friend uh is this a child the body’s very small compared to the head um what if i just set up a bed over here is that gonna be weird this child’s making strange noises

Where are your parents child that that face is real mood i should get off the kid’s bed this is weird okay um also they’ve just got a bunch of a bunch of acacia saplings in the bucket okay you know what let’s um let’s place a bed and um

And uh we’re just gonna sleep until the morning and we can see what’s going on here a little better because uh this is a little crazy right now okay the morning has come and this child is looking at me like please sir what are you doing in my cell

Doesn’t this look like a cell um can we speak with the child hello no okay it’s probably fair um okay let’s head on out here and let’s see what is going on oh it’s a beautiful morning this looks like an adult hello sir hello uh it’s all right they’ll treat us things

That doesn’t seem like a good trade at all well maybe 24 paper for uh emerald is not bad i don’t know but nine emeralds for a bookshelf seems pretty unnecessary um i’m very glad that we found a friendly village though that would have been pretty awkward if he’s uh or a bunch of

Aggressive villagers this iron golem looks really cool i don’t know if that’s just the texture pack that makes it look like that or what is it just gonna rain forever now it kind of feels that way um random potato i don’t know what these things are these corners yeah this performance consistence

Inconsistency is very odd like it runs at a lock 60 most of the time but then every once in a while it just clamps down to 30. i’ll have to look into that for the next video but i didn’t encounter that while i was testing so i don’t know get out

20 wheat for an emerald that seems like a decent deal and that emerald turns into six bread how does 20 wheat i’m not sure if that’s good or not i forget how much wheat bread normally takes so it might just be cheaper or easier to just turn the wheat straight into bread hello

What is this beach roots in 15 beats for an emerald and once again one emerald for six for red this guy have a chest nope sadly not oh how’s that oh was that kitten oh my god is that what that is oh my goodness or is it a little rat i’m

Actually not even sure what it’s supposed to be i choose to believe it’s a kitten though okay ah it’s just up here oh you hear it did you hear it baby where are you come back i wish i could pet the kitten but i don’t think i can oh there it is

Come back i want to love you let me love you i come back so cute just the teeniest tiniest little mew okay just oh yeah i guess it kind of makes sense to be beef here there are cows below i guess this is an old farm thing did we check this out yet

I don’t remember no the heck is this that’s uh some funky art Honestly not sure what’s going on there no chest here though oh there’s more houses actually up on the hillside there it looks like uh yards we’ve been in there baby oh is the rain finally stopping uh that’s the biome boundary okay what’s all this what’s all this hello sir

Oh here we talked to this guy already i see right there a librarian that makes sense that does make sense this weather okay another one of these just grasses not in the right place hello an armorer they trade coal for emeralds and then emeralds for iron leggings doesn’t seem like a good deal

Oh this is the one where yeah wait is this where iceland no i think i slept here yeah i did okay i think we’ve well no there’s still more i was going to say i think we’ve explored most of the houses this one no just to be out here

And let’s go check out the one up top maybe we can make that our home lording over the villagers it’s kind of neat got like a little waterfall down here flows into the village quite picturesque so what kind of biome is this this is a savannah oh there’s a couple

There’s more houses up here than i thought oh hello corner man what are you doing in that corner a farmer all right no chest here weirdly this guy has a second level that he cannot access i guess it’s just aesthetic uh what’s all this that’s a bunch of nothing what the heck

Is this thing now for parent is enchant okay i tell you there’s tons of stuff that i’ve not really experienced in this game oh hello my friend or alpaca whatever you are um this is a very impractical building what do you even use this space for this is ridiculous

I can’t live in that random barrel pretty view from up here right at the edge of where it rains i don’t know if we should stop here or just keep going i mean this is cool but i don’t know if this is quite what i’m looking for you know

Why don’t we keep going i like a good village but you know i i sort of want to see what else might be out there we’re going to be very far from home that landscape looks pretty epic over there sure let’s go that way i mean it’s a lot of savannah

It goes for quite a ways it seems but there’s got to be something on the other side also sometimes i just like wandering you know i think the sun is setting though we will have to think about somewhere to spend the night um i suppose the village would be the

Natural place for that wouldn’t it well perhaps perhaps i have to go back oh we got a big cave down here oh we’ve got some lava down there i think maybe not it’s just like a giant hole into the ground actually it really doesn’t look that interesting i don’t think it goes anywhere

Well okay fine not as exciting as it originally appeared sadly oh yeah that’s right the moon in this texture pack is kind of broken i don’t think it’s supposed to look like that i think that’s supposed to be some kind of glow map that doesn’t quite work out

Right instead it’s just like a giant eyeball or something i guess that does mean we should get back to safety this is pretty good some lab over there let’s run we will spend the night at the village oh gosh oh gosh wait what the heck oh that iron golem is

Just bodying that zombie save me iron golem save me thank you friend have a good night i mean no harm okay we’ll try and sleep somewhere that’s not that child’s place because i was weird it’s about to get real cozy in your body i hope you don’t mind

Just make a little double bed you know it’s all good don’t sweat it just little sleepover with the bros you know with the boys don’t give me that look okay um yeah go on okay yeah time to set out on our adventure again oh my goodness there’s a creeper over

There let’s have some beef for breakfast um yeah where’d that creeper go i do not trust do not trust that creeper to not just appear out of nowhere and ruin my day how is this skeleton and not burning up that’s what i want to know oh okay it’s the big bit

Uh let’s go this way we saw some pretty epic looking landscape over this way maybe there’ll be some more maybe maybe oh there’s that lava we saw huh that’s weird it’s just like a little tiny little lava pool very strange very strange deed this is a cave oh goodness hopefully my yawning

Will help you feel more tired fall asleep a little easier wow this is a massive massive savannah biome it just goes forever in every direction well except we know that there’s a bamboo forest over there but we got this looking not as interesting as i thought

Might as well find some coal while we’re here eventually eventually we will find what i’m seeking i don’t know what i’m seeking but i’ll know it when i see it now okay well this probably does go somewhere but this is a much more vertical landscape than most savannah i’m used to

This this formation up here is pretty neat this is the one we saw in the very far distance when we were at the village which means we should be able to look back from up there and see the village in the distance this is a weird formation really not sure what’s happening down

There this is also quite odd what’s going on this is bizarre i got to climb this peak whoa that’s cool okay that’s actually way cooler than i thought this was this gorgeous just the way it frames the distance there and the one tree the lone tree on top

Oh what’s that what the heck is that let’s climb up and get a get a view dang the savannah biome is massive massive massive i wonder if that’s the new durian generation just crazy like that i don’t know what is that i’ve never seen something like that

Before i don’t know what that means is it okay it’s noon i was worried it looked like i was getting a little darker by the horizon but i think we’re okay um the cloud shadows are super cool aren’t they oh do we dare head over there to find out what that is

I mean like this where we are right now not a very practical place for a base like epic a watch tower would be really neat here but um you know we need some more resources for that i’m i’m my curiosity is peaked by that structure it’s probably bad guys it kind of looks

Like bad guys but you know sometimes you have to take a risk take a gamble there’s also a big cave over there built into that cliff i don’t know what that’s about oh gosh that was almost very bad i’m fine we’re fine everything’s fine don’t worry about it everything is under control relaxing

Asmr i know what i’m doing i’m a minecraft expert i’m here to create the most relaxing minecraft experience for you i certainly am not going to walk off any cliffs or fall down any holes or die to any creepers no sorry okay if i go over here and i die well

I’ll probably deserve it i guess we don’t really have a spawn point anymore because we oh yeah that looks like a bad guy doesn’t it what if we battled them what the heck what is going on here yeah i’m pretty sure those are bad guys oh is this an iron golem that’s trapped

White can we let him out will he be friendly will he go and kick their asses i have no idea we’re gonna find out i’m just gonna kick my ass you’re free now oh there’s more than one hello friend if i had a flower i’d give it to you okay oh yeah okay

I have no idea how hard these guys are that was pretty easy gosh there’s quite a few of them though aren’t there what if we were to um murder them all take over this tower for our own it’s actually really not that exciting a tower but [Applause]

There’s like a proper way to fight in this game these days isn’t there i’m supposed to time my oh they’re fighting don’t you dare just shoot those guys no no no no no no no no this yeah i don’t know how to properly fight clearly i should probably eat some food

Heal up here a little bit you leave those iron golems alone wow maybe they still can’t get out but you think they would attack them nonetheless be free be free go go dude go do the thing fight the bad guys oh there they go yes yes fight back against your captors fifa love

Love revolution oh god wow relaxing asmr minecraft murder murder uh so part of the problem here is i still don’t know how to get into this structure is there supposed to be like an easy way in here if we dig our way in we have the technology

It’s quite dark down here actually oh well i guess this was the wind well we could spend the night here with our with the bad guys upstairs you tell you what we brought a uh oh my gosh our fancy crossbow um i was just gonna fix the little um

And i’ve put a door on here so the zombies don’t get us at night and um Oh that’s why i see oh gosh oh gosh oh gosh i’ve made a terrible mistake wow okay we’re all right i have some kind of a status effect on me i’m not sure what that is but good enough we got a door um man minecraft has just evolved so much since i

Last played it seriously in any way like you know kids growing up playing this version of the game there’s just so much more than there used to be uh okay yeah i really don’t know what the status effect is i hope it’s not bad okay if i open my inventory can i see

Does it show me active status effects no oh wait but actually before we go up and do more murdering why don’t we place some chests down here just so that we can uh clear our inventory a little bit Because we just got a bunch of bunch of junk we don’t really need to be carrying and i suspect those guys upstairs will be dropping some stuff so when i murder them okay let’s go clean out the rest of this place there you go uh i think there’s another level above

Us so isn’t there oh gosh where’d this guy come from oh yeah we got some stairs here I really don’t know what the status effect is it seems to last forever though which worries me a little bit i haven’t contracted right off the edge to see you bud there is a chest up here i wonder if these jerks will keep spawning forever i feel like that’s a possibility

Maybe i can’t claim this place for myself i’m gonna try all our efforts brought us to ironing it some wheat for wheat two glorious potatoes another ironing it three dark oak logs five pieces of string and a crossbow totally worth it oh what’s that what what what is that

What do you reckon that is it’s hard to tell from here but we’re gonna have to go explore it now that i’ve seen it there’s no other option uh so this are we up at the top then top of the tower because i i keep hearing more bad guys down there

Uh so i suspect they’re respawning or something i’ve still got that status effect i think that’s supposed to be an angry illeger face i’m not sure what that means i mean it’s actually pretty cozy in this tower like i wouldn’t mind making this place my home at least for a while

Next this thing let’s just claim a banner and what happened to my iron golem friends friends friends where are you why have they abandoned me i see some light over here what’s that about i think we might have a little lava a lot of puddle here joe gosh that’s more

In the left bottle holy heck oh that’s epic that oh god geez louise i was not safe i didn’t consider the fact that i might get oh god oh no oh dear i’ve made some very bad life choices here okay wait let’s we can still get out of your life it’s possible

Oh god oh god it’s it’s technically possible that we could get out of your life ah okay the dawn is coming and um we’re getting shot look at those arrows okay all right let’s just make a little more safety net here uh all we gotta do is wait for the sun to rise

And and that that guy with a really bad animal we’ll burn right right i saw the moon setting so the sun’s gonna rise really soon let’s just sit tight here it’ll be fine it will be fine it doesn’t help that i’m playing with the controller and i’m a lot less

Dexterous with the controller than with the mouse oh i don’t even know can i use this okay this is getting silly i’m just afraid to to leave this place because i could that’s what’s gonna happen i’m gonna get knocked off an edge and that’s gonna be really bad okay

Let’s don’t forget to think we can take it we can take it and make ourselves a glider oh gosh oh he’s right there buddy buddy buddy buddy is he gone are we alive i didn’t know what was down below i didn’t okay it’s not that bad actually

I thought there might just be a massive chasm down there we probably could have fallen and survived that was pathetic that whole little undertaking again if i wasn’t trying to struggle with the controller i could be a little more nimble i um i’m pretty sure i’m just going to be
