Minecraft Beyond the Lands Texture Pack Review

Minecraft’s this is beyond the lens it is a new texture pack for the game that is a fantasy / medieval style I’ve collected all the core kind of creatures and put them into this pen you can be using this for future texture pack viewings kind of difficult considering

All the creatures try to eat or kill each other or mess with each other and creepers explode so we’ll show the creeper but we’re gonna put them in the water these are the flammable type characters right there you got your skeleton and your generic zombie got the

Oscillates it’s just a nice look at the general creatures before we look at the blocks incorporated in this texture pack so those that aren’t aware texture packs change the look of the game stop eating my chickens oscillates through the fence somehow kind of annoying and yeah so

They basically changed the look of the world all the textures or well most of the textures and given a fresh coat of paint basically you just easily add it on from the settings before you start or whatever and open those up and it shows up as a resource pack right there seeing

Then you add it easily that way you click a and then you plus it or minus it depending if you want it installed on the particular world so they make it look different and as you can see a number that the blocks are changed from the carpets there to the general texture

Of the cobblestones and a lot of the characters to the villagers look more people ish I want to say and that’s kind of interesting look here now will shuffle through the world before going through the list of kind of blocks available within this so you can get an

Idea of what has been changed so the world looks a lot more natural I say that in the sense that it looks a bit more realistic as opposed to the very distinct style that minecraft is so this will be nice for people that don’t want to create a old-style village or a

Castle or something like that it kind of matches that design really well I think the trees look really nice the grass is a good texture and generally it looks really nice so we’re going to jump into a if so you get a look at the kind of

Blocks here Barry stone –is– it’s got a nice look to it and I I generally think it’s kind of an improvement over the cobble it really depends on what you’re you know style look is you mostly use these if you wanted just a different experience or if you’re doing a seamed

World or adventure world or something and you want it to look a particular way let’s now move on to the actual blocks so we got our dirt our course dirt grass blocks and it just kind of gives you a look at sort of distinct styles that are

Available with the various ores here – those very stone types I’ll pull out the polished diorite because I like the distinct look of it keep the creeper out there and show that off there’s the dire right look I think it’s C it’s quite different you a spawn

A creeper in the water it’s cuz the look of the creeper is very authentic and I like to look here it’s like a darker scarier version of it and I think that works really well sure just blow up for anything again you know how these creepers are right anyways

Continue with the blocks so get our logs different types are all reproduced here with a more natural wood look the leaves kind of follow that but I mean they still look distinctly like leaves in the game you got your saplings dark Oaks seeds for the various things I mean they

Look like seeds and your crops the food is more of a natural type look in this carrying with that design of a medieval style around cover you saw that as we flew over your various flowers the flowers are kind of very similar with only slight tweaks to them I think

Here’s the rest of the regular type blocks here got magma we’ve got miscellaneous foods you know I’m more of a like pound cake I want to say obviously the eggs haven’t changed and you’ve seen all the creatures that are available let’s move over to the items tab here get your

Various beds your chests designs and again more of that old-school natural type of look that you would see you know in a medieval type city if that’s what you’re kind of looking for and go through the names just in case you don’t know what some things are called chanted

Books pen and quill great update honestly fantastic your fireworks not seen know too much has changed but the very distinct look that you wouldn’t know we go on to weapons I’m gonna pull out a sword so you can take a look at what that looks like the weaponry is

Very much more of that again medieval look that they’re trying to capture here pluck the sword as you can see it’s cool I don’t know my normal character because there’s not custom skins yet on the console where I have to try this out and we got the the potions

You know and what you’d expect total Mon dying’s a little freaky looking great your different chest plates we’ll put one on so you can see what it looks like although it’s kind of silly to have armor on over armor because the Master Chief right yeah but that’s kind of what

It looks like move over to the basic construction here this is where you have your planks your different types of fencing your staircases your doors and so forth you know the glass design very nice kind of look to it glass panes various blocks probably won’t see the sandstone and the

Decorative so overall I I like this look the texture packs really nice if you are looking for a very distinct style or more of even a natural style then this is an excellent texture pack for that particular design so it really comes down to preference you know I prefer to

Use a generic minecraft look because I’m just used to it but if you’re doing a project where you want to create an adventure world you know one that’s got more of a natural or old-school classic kind of look to it and this is an excellent pack they’ve done a good job

On most of the textures looking nice yeah even the caves look decent and a little bit more realistic looking the blocks have a nice texture that looks decent and I think overall it’s a very high quality pack as far as you know changing up the world and stuff and it

Really comes down to preference but if you are looking for something like what I’ve mentioned then this is definitely a great choice for that
