Hello everybody my name is marlo and welcome back to my custom villager houses tutorial series where we are building a house for each and every one of the minecraft villager professions so if you don’t want to miss out on the rest of these builds please feel free to subscribe All of these are from my survival series by the way where we are making ourselves a custom village and the original concept of this series right here came from mythical sausage both my playlist and his are going to be down in the description for you to check out so far we have done The cleric weaponsmith fisherman cartographer and shepherd houses but today we are building a home for the butcher as always here is your materials list for the build the entirety of the wood selection is made up of the spruce and the oak but there is a dark oak pressure plate added In there as well so do make sure to grab that but we got our usual white terracotta and bricks all of these stone variants along here and then the other items that make up the odds and ends to the rest of the build so grab all of This and then we can start building the butcher’s house roughly takes up a 17 by 13 area so just make sure you got enough room before we start placing blocks and the first ones we’re going to place down are these strip spruce logs so the first one can go here And then we’re gonna leave a gap of five and place another one and then another gap of five and place one more and then from this furthest right pillar we’ll just bring one outwards coming inwards like that so say we’re facing the front of the house right now We should have something looking like this and then we can very simply copy that over to the other side as well so from this first pillar we place down we’ll leave another gap of five and place one there and then simply just mirror the blocks we place down on this side as well So that’s two five block gaps and then we’ll have one coming outwards like this so if we’re facing the front of the build here we should have something looking like this and on these four pillars we can bring each of them up by one two three more for a total of four And the other four pillars can be brought up by a total of six so that’s five more on top of the ones we’ve just placed so there’s one two three four five and six you should be left with something that looks like this next up we can grab some Spruce stairs and have an upside down one on the top block of both of these two pillows here we can then have a slab next to both of those upside down stair again with another slab in the center we can then copy this over to the back as well for these two pillars And once you have both of those sides done we can then grab our stairs again and have one off the back of that upside down one on both of these two sides grab your strip spruce logs and on the back of that stair just have a horizontal line coming all the way Across from one side to the other grab your spruce stairs again and on this block we’re gonna have one stacked on top just like that and then we can have an upside down stair on the back of those and just staircase our way up until we reach the middle And they connect where we can have an upside down one just like that so the left hand side of the build should be looking like this we’ll swing around to the right and do a similar thing we’re not gonna place a stair coming outwards onto this block We’re instead just gonna go directly up and place a stair on top of that pillar block upside down stair on the back of those and do the same again until we reach the same level and we can place in upside down stair in the center just like that Once you have your outline done for this part of the build we’ll grab our spruce stairs again and have one on top of this motor block here on both of the two sides with an upside down one coming off that one so we have something like this then we can grab Our spruce trap doors and have one on those stair blocks to make sure they’re actually on the stair not ever so slightly below it we can then have a spruce slab and then two more spruce trap doors in the center so we have something like this for the middle part across the top We can then grab our oak stairs and all we really want to do is just have a line going all the way across from one spruce stair to the other and fill in the rest of the roof once we have this part of the roof all Done we can then start work on this section right here so the first thing we’re going to do is place an upside down spruce stair on the top of that pillar block so the one that is jutting outwards ever so slightly a regular stair on the back of it spruce Trap door in front and then one on top two slabs just like that so we have this at the moment we can then come inwards by one block so we’re in line with that upside down stair spruce stair right there upside down spruce stair two trapdoors again on top and in front And then one slab to go and the final block so i’ll just give you a second to have a look at that once again because we can copy on over to this side as well and once we have that done for both of the two sides we can then have two slabs Or a full block in the corner there just beside that stair one just kind of like the same as this but on the other side as well next to that block that we just placed down upside down one on the back of that block and then we can have another spruce trap Door in front and on top of those two blocks a slab on both of those a full block or another two slabs and then a upside down stair in the center so that right there is the outline of that roof hopefully that was easy to follow and understand On top of this upside down spruce stair we can have a regular one placed right there and then behind that we can have one two three horizontal strip spruce logs and a campfire on that block right there we can then place a trapdoor facing towards the rest of the house A trapdoor on top of the campfire itself two more on either side and we can go ahead and flip those up just like that and then one more on this log again facing the other roof so we have something like this and then we can simply have one two three more stripped horizontal Spruce logs like that we’re now gonna fill in this roof entirely with oak slabs but it is a little bit of a confusing roof design so i’ll go nice and slow here and take you through one block at a time so first things first we’re gonna have three slabs on the bottom part Of these horizontal spruce logs on the top section we’ll have one in the middle coming outwards and then on this lower one we’ll have two blocks right there we’re then gonna have one two on top of those pillar blocks with another one just in front of that spruce stair right There so we should have something like this at the moment we’re then gonna place a temporary block here and come in by one get rid of that block and have another one and then come in by one block again and one two and three we can also have one Underneath this spruce trap door just like that so we should have something like this at the moment with a small gap here that we just need to fill in and to do that we’re gonna have one on the top part of that strip spruce log one next to this trapdoor and then the Final block we’re actually gonna have to place some temporary ones to get it there but we’re gonna fill that in with one more slab so this is half of the roof design i’ll just pause here for a couple of seconds so you can take a closer look Because you need to copy on over to this side too so that right there is the roof all done for this build hopefully you managed to follow along okay because it was a little bit tricky especially this whole section right here but once you’ve got that all done we can Then come over to the left hand side of the build and we can grab our white terracotta and have one two three four and five blocks next to these pillar blocks right here three along the bottom three along the top and then three in the center and then these two areas Right here we can fill in with glass panes as some windows upside down oak stair in the center just like that with two either side of it on top of the stair we can have a brick wall and then have two either side just like that where we can then have one two Three oak fences with another brick wall on top we can have three more on top of this brick wall in the middle and then on these two blocks right here we’re just gonna place our oak fence gate so we should have something like this at the moment we can then have an oak Button in the center leave a gap of one and place two more either side and on these outer logs here we’re gonna have a spruce trap door we can then come up to this open section right here and actually partially step inside and have an oak plank on the center Block with two white terracotta either side we can have an oak trap door in the center and flip it upwards two oak planks either side of that one with another one on top of both of those and we can have an oak stair upside down in the center So the top part of this side should be looking like this we can then very quickly swing around and do this side as well which is actually easier to step inside first of all so we’re simply going to place one two three four and five white terracotta blocks so we Get something like this from the outside as for the front of the house in this section right here the first thing we can do is grab some oak trap doors and place one two three on those spruce slabs right there and go ahead and flick them down And we will poke some holes for a doorway and a window in a sec but just for simplicity sakes we’re gonna fill all of this in with white terracotta and once we have this blank canvas we can then place a spruce button underneath each of the trapdoors Poke out one two three holes right here and then these two as well these two can become windows we can have an oak plank at the bottom of this one with a spruce door on top close that on up like so oak stair in front of this one with two Upside down either side and then we can actually dig down by one block place a lever flick it on and place a piston on top of that one just beside our window here to the right we’re gonna have two spruce trap doors as some shutters flower pot on top of our piston and Actually cover the bottom part up with some more spruce trap doors brick wall on top of the two upside down oak stairs with an oak fence on top of that one two oak slabs and then one more in the center up by half a block just like that and then the final thing We can do is place an oak trap door on the bottom of this spruce log right here so it’s slightly above that spruce trap door oak trap door there oak fence below it lantern hanging down from below we’re gonna do a similar thing with the back of the house round here with the Oak trap doors just behind all of these spruce slabs right here and then just for now we’ll go ahead and fill it all in with white terracotta and poke out some windows in a second but before we do we’ll have a spruce button again underneath all of the trapdoors so Underneath this empty block right here one up from the bottom we’ll poke out those two holes go across by one and poke out these one block upwards fill these in with glass panes so we have something like this for right now grab our oak fence gate and on these two White terracotta blocks we’ll place those and flip them open and in front we can have some spruce trap doors as some shutters being held open very simply we’re just going to place an oak slab on the bottom of that block right there so we have something like this right now And then we’ll continue on and have an upside down oak stair either side of that bottom part of the window with an oak slab in the center then we can grab a spruce fence and have one two of those on either side and then three oak slabs at the top Flower pot on that block right there and place a flower inside we can then come around to the right hand side of the build to this section right here and place a line of any stone blocks i’m just using stone bricks for now across the bottom like that We’ll have three more on top of those in each corner and then we’re gonna have some stairs facing upwards so we get that little ventilation gap because this is where the butchering is gonna take place so obviously we want to filter some of that air out because it’s not Going to be very nice inside of there but we’ll have two more stone in the center iron bars on these two gaps right here and then we’ll have one two three grass blocks place some sweet berries on top of those and just cover it all up with some spruce trap doors now we Will add some texture in later with the other blocks i’ve given you in the stone variants but for right now we’ll do these sides as well so for the front of the house just next to our lantern here we’re gonna have a stair next to this bottom Pillar block with a full block next to it we’ll come in one diagonally and have another stair with a full block next to this pillar on top of the two stairs we can have an iron bar and then two full blocks just beside it like that upside down stone bricks there or Any of the stone are same again on top of the iron bars we’re then gonna have a stair regular one on top of that upside down one so we have this and then we’ll have an upside down stair on top of that block so we have something that looks a bit weird But it’s like that at the moment we can then have a full block either side of those with two more on top and then the very final thing to do is add in one two three four spruce trap doors all flicked up on those blocks right there so these are Just more ventilation gaps similar to what we’ve done on this side too as for the background here we’re gonna have a stone brick stair on this bottom block just beside our pillar with a full block and then two more diagonally just like that we’ll have an iron bar on Top of the stair with an upside down one just above it and then all of these can be brought up by two more just beside the iron bar here we’ll have a spruce trap door as a bit of a shutter and then we’re gonna do a same again With some more upside down and regular stairs so upside down one can go on that block with a regular one just beside the pillar there so looks a bit weird again but we can go ahead and fill the rest in with some more full blocks just like That and then we can grab our oak slabs and have one in the corner here with two more coming outwards one more in the center with two oak stairs upside down to make a little bit of a table where on top of this we can just have ourselves A bit of a barrel stack maybe something a little bit like this should be fine so now what we can do is go ahead and add some texture to all of our stone here using some stone brick crack stone brick and the sight and cobblestone Of course if you want to add in some other stone variants too feel free to go ahead and chuck them in but don’t forget to change up the stairs as well so once you have a bit of a mixture for all of those three sides we can actually now cool the entire Outside of this build fully complete we’re now ready to head inside and start work there so the first thing to do inside of here is come to the center of these two pillar blocks right here and have six more strip spruce logs until we reach up to the ceiling Right there three blocks up from the bottom we’ll have two more horizontally on both of those and on this right hand side gap right here nearest the doorway we’re gonna fill all of this in with spruce planks just like that we’ll have three more on the left hand side of this pillar Upside down spruce stair and then in this little gap we’ll have a spruce door just like this and then on these two top sections right here on the outer block we’ll have a stair just like that on the other side we’ll have one facing inwards like this And then we just want to copy it on over to the top but upside down as well and we eventually end up with a shape like this on both of the top blocks right there and very simply we’re just going to grab eight spruce trap doors and fill in All of these right here and flip them downwards so that you can’t see through once you have your wall divider in place that will separate the butchering area from the shop and the bedroom in this section we can then grab our oak stairs and place one In front of this bruce plank here just beside the doorway we’re then gonna have three more staggering up until we reach the white terracotta and then underneath we’ll have one two and three upside down oak stairs we can then just fill the rest in as a ceiling and a Floor to these two levels right here all the way across and then finally we’ll just place one more in the corner here but make sure you leave these four blocks open so that you can actually get up and down without banging your head you can then of course use your staircase To come up to the second floor here where the villager bedroom is going to be and we can grab our strip spruce logs and from this top white terracotta we can bring that all the way across over to the other side we can then have four oak slabs just Next to it on either of the two sides like that and then grab your white terracotta and we’re just gonna have two on these open blocks here besides the trapdoors on both of those two sides right there next up grab your oak stairs and then we actually just want to break These two spruce blocks and replace them with some full spruce planks something like that will actually do if you want to just use some stairs and replace a bit and then we can grab our oak stairs again and just place one two and then three just to neaten that Area up a little bit and then the final thing to do is two spruce buttons and then you don’t really need this at all but if you want you can have an oak button here on the center just to fill in that little area of open space We can then head through our spruce trap door and try and smooth out this ceiling a little bit because it is very messy looking right now so if you really don’t mind and don’t want to follow along with what’s going to be a bit of a tricky step right now you Could always just leave it like this maybe cover up the campfire and neaten out a couple of things but it doesn’t look too bad it’s just it is a bit of a mess to be honest so i’ll go slow with this one one block at a time showing you how i’m gonna smooth This out and the first thing we’re gonna do is break one two three blocks there and replace them with some oak slabs or stairs sorry break this one here and curl it round just to the side and then we might actually need to just do a little bit of temporary block placing Obviously we’ll go around the back and fix that afterwards but we just want to curve the stair around like that very quickly i’ll just go around and replace this block to what it was before and then we can simply do that on this side as well Next up we’ll have a full brick block underneath our campfire right here with a spruce trap door in front of it we’ll grab some more oak slabs and just place one beneath each of those to cover up the flames from this angle right here we can then face sideways and place an Oak stair facing inwards upside down on these two blocks right here and actually replace these slabs with some oak stairs so they curve round just to the side like that and i believe apart from this little section right here where we got a bit of a gap We can place an oak slab on both of those but that right there is a much smoother and nicer looking ceiling than it was before this by the way is going to be a chimney we’ll connect it when we do the rest of the work in here Before we start adding in all of the detail blocks we’re going to go ahead and fill in our floor so for this section right here we can get rid of all of the grass and replace it with four brick blocks or slabs if you want to save on some resources And of course once you’ve done that don’t forget to replace the one underneath the spruce door and replace it to how it was before so that right there is this floor done as for the butchery section right here as you guessed we’re gonna stick with The stone theme and just get rid of all of these blocks and then place a mixture like we’ve done with the walls but for the floors Something like that should be good and the same with this one if you want to use slabs to save on resources feel free to do that the first thing we’re gonna do here is place an oak stair just in front of our doorway here with one curved round to the left Full plank just beside it with a spruce fence and then a lantern on that block right there we can then grab some barrels and just add in a little bit of a stack in the corner something like that should be good and then we can grab our spruce stairs and have one here Change to a slab and then have another stair again with a spruce trap door here just as a little bit of a counter and then we can place some item frames going along here where inside we can display some meats or something else that butch would sell Most likely just meats and maybe twist a few of them around to change up the direction now heading upstairs we’re gonna fill out the bedroom and the first thing we’ll do is place a scaffolding block in the left hand corner here as soon as you walk on Up where on top we can display a flower pot with something inside we’re gonna stick a bed just beside it and cover it up with some signs if you don’t like the look of this not everybody does you can always leave them out it’s just to kind of enclose it Looking like it’s some extra support for the bed and then finally we can just grab a couple of temporary blocks and place a two-wide painting along here and cycle through until you get one that you fancy just beside the bed over in the right hand corner we’re gonna have an upside Down spruce stair change to a spruce slab and then have another upside down stair here just to make ourselves a little bit of a desk we can go ahead and place a chair in front using a spruce stair and some oak signs as armrests just like that Our dark oak pressure plate can go in the center and then a lantern with a flower pot on either of the two sides so that right there is the villagers bedroom all done as well as the shop we can now move through to the butchering area And fair warning it is a little bit gruesome in here but don’t worry i won’t be too descriptive first things first we’re going to grab our brick walls and place one two three underneath that full brick block with a smoker underneath that right there is what is causing all Of the smoke at our chimney of course then we can have a streptoclog facing horizontally into the smoker like that item frame with some sort of meat inside on either of the two sides doesn’t particularly matter and then we can very simply cover this up with three trap doors on All of the five sides so there’s gonna be one two three over here three at the back on all three of those sides and then three more round the other side here and then of course flip all of these up and once all of those are flipped and You’re looking like this facing the front we can then grab a spruce stair or not a spruce there sorry a spruce fence place that in the center block there where the logs are horizontally going across with a lantern hanging down from below facing the front of the smoker here we Can come around to the left hand side and replace these two blocks with some packed ice and have a double chest on top as a little bit of cold storage we can then come over to the left hand side or the right hand side actually but Turn to the left and have an upside down oak stair in each of these two corners with a slab in the center stone pressure plate flower pot nothing inside maybe this is a cup for something i won’t be too descriptive as i said but then we’ll have an item frame with an Axe inside for the butcher to use and the very final finishing details is one a spruce fence on this block with a lantern hanging down from below could always use a chain if you prefer i’ve designed all of these houses pre 1.16 hence why there’s a severe lack of Chains in most of these builds but underneath our lantern we can have a tripwire hook and then we simply just want to dot a little bit of redstone down as i’m sure you can guess what it’s meant to be but yeah just do that as a little detail for what’s going on Back here so that right there is the butcher’s butchery shop and home fully complete i really hope you guys did enjoy this build thank you ever so much for watching and i will see you next time bye for now Video Information
