[Applause] Hey guys welcome back today we’re going to be building a portal fancy that it’s going to be the uh devil portal it’s an old school kind of devil face i like it a lot he’s got the curlicue mustache um it’s gonna start up five by four it’s 20 blocks total of red Smooth red sandstone and then we’re gonna go around the sides and back with upside down stairs red smooth red sandstone stairs okay and then from the front you’re gonna count three rows back and we’ll put the poor actual portal in it’s gonna be seven wide by eight high And then we’re gonna put in the nether rack the five across straight in the middle right in the front there and then we’ll put his bottom lip right in front five more blocks then might as well throw this soul patch in while we’re down here uh it’s just gonna be three Upside down black zone stairs and uh oh hello angel how are you and then we’re gonna switch to black concrete so we can layer the inside of his mouth it’s gonna be seven high on either side and this will basically just be the shadow inside his mouth Then with end stone brick wall we’re going to connect the top of the shadow across so we’ve got the top of his teeth back to smooth red sandstone and we’re going to stack them eight high go all the way across and then go eight back down One on this side and one on that side so to help the teeth look less weird we’re gonna put that front lip right in there look at that that looks great we’ll throw a slab up on either side there and then on top of that we’re gonna put another row Of the smooth red sandstone and then stack two in the middle we’re gonna have to put three and then back on the edge two more then for the middle part i’m just using two blocks and one slab all right so for this next part we’re Going to be filling in the rest of the eyes there’s kind of a lot going on here so just follow what i’m doing just using the same blocks and stairs that i’ve been using all right looks good we’re getting the shape of the eyes now we’re going to Repeat that on the other side okay great next we’re going to work on the nose so directly from the center you’re going to measure up one red sandstone block and place a block there the rest of it is just stairs two in the front one on each side for the nostrils And you’re done okay now we tackle the eyeballs um smooth quartz one two three four five and a block of redstone and same on the other side if you don’t have redstone any log of wood will do perfectly fine here check out the frankenstein fit to see what i’m talking about now blackstone Buttons make excellent pupils one two now let’s tackle the almighty mustache uh you’ll start using blackstone slabs like i’m doing here it’s all black stone slabs and black stone stairs Gotta get it just right to get that nice little sort of curly q effect oh that doesn’t curl that much i guess it’s just shapely but it looks good i like the way that it came out i think it goes really well with the eyebrows All right looking good okay to finish the rest of the head area we’re going to have to put the bottom on first so that it can has something to support it i don’t know just easier this way so oh my god that’s terrifying what have i created here this is wrong Okay so just try not to look directly at it but uh we’re gonna use our redstone stairs starting from the black concrete we’re gonna go one two a three across and then we’re gonna have one going the other direction and then on that back row all the way across we’re gonna fill it With the blocks five six and seven and then on the side we’re gonna go back to the smooth red samsung stairs and we’re gonna do it again one two three and then the other direction gives us about the best curve we can possibly get uh out of minecraft since everything is so blocky But now we have a nice solid base to work with so what we’re going to do is we’re going to using the blocks we’re going to go one two three four five six one two and uh connect it down here at the bottom oh i guess that was actually three but Uh in any case you’re gonna connect all these points together and go uh all the way around with it you’ll see what i’m doing here and this part actually measures at nine blocks across in total we’re gonna keep filling in the corners and then uh we’re gonna fill in the Entire area here we go All right that’s done let’s just swing around so we can take a look at it looking good so uh what we’re going to want to do next is uh build up the sides of the head we’re not going to tackle the hair yet but here we’re going to put Three upside down stairs on top of that one two three blocks one two three blocks and then one two one two one two one two for eight more and then we’re gonna repeat that on the other side and what this does is it’s smoothing out his cheekbones Giving it more dimension so again with the stairs we’ll do three and then two sets of three and then four sets of two all right now we’ve got enough shape we can start uh filling out the rest of the face we’re gonna put three blocks here go down one two three four Five across and we’ll deal with that space in a minute uh since we’re up here we’re gonna go ahead and finish with one two three more blocks so that’s really gonna give shape that’s where we’re gonna put the eyebrows we’ll put two more right there in the middle and then uh Two more in the middle gives it a high arch but that eyebrow is going to fill it up really nicely and while i’m thinking about it why don’t we go ahead and fill out this space back here boom all right now we’re gonna fill in the uh we’re gonna smooth out rather the Brow ridge with some stairs uh just one two three four five and six okay that looks better that looks really huge and weird but i swear when those eyebrows get in there it’s gonna look good so let’s tackle that now shall we we’re gonna start with some blackstone stairs Put one right here and then angle it up so that you’ve got one and then one more time and then on the other side we’re gonna go back down to one boom like that looks a little weird so we’re gonna put some slabs in here to fill it out a little bit That looks good nice arching eyebrow okay now we’ll do the other side again three sets of stairs going up and then two back down on the other side and then slab slab oh yes very sinister indeed nicely done okay so we’ll fill in the rest of the face Head anyway start placing down blocks just like i’m doing here uh we’re gonna fill in this area looking good yeah that fills it a little better uh we’re gonna put some more stairs in here to smooth it out three in the middle and then one on either end to match what’s already there Right next to it all right so you probably thought we were done with the brow but not yet we’ve got one more little accent one two three stairs right there and then three more it just adds a little bit more uh it might look extreme but when that hair is On there it’s all gonna look all gonna look good all right so let’s connect those two areas with one two three four five blocks and looks good now we’re gonna move on to the hair so to start with right on top of what you just put down you’re going to put Five of the black stone stairs and then put one this direction and then we’re going to step down one more and one more and under that we’re going to put um just solid blocks four of them to fill it out until you can’t go any more And then we repeat on the other side we’re going to go with our stairs and step them down one two three times and then four more of the black stone blocks nice all right so we’re gonna fill out the hair we’re gonna go back a little bit so Right at the bottom one we’re gonna put two more uh one two one two one two and then one we’re gonna leave space there because that’s where the horn is gonna actually start from and so back on the other side we’re gonna do the same thing one two three four five Six and then one so we’ve got that nice little space there so then next what we’re going to do is we’re going to use stairs and in that direction it oops sorry a solid block there and one next to it i hope you can see what that layout is Like we’re going to put another stair there go the other direction because it’s uh we’re going to fill this in with the block and that’s going to be the top of his head so right there we’re going to put another row of stairs and then go this direction to Fill it out that’s the very top that’s all you’re going to do with the top of this top of the hair we’re going to fill in the rest of this like we did the other side there’s the one stair the one block and the one stair And next what we’re going to do is we’re going to fill in that area basically the whole back row on the left there and we’re going to go all the way down just to fill in the area that we’ve already done so just like this we’re going to speed it Up a little bit but all the way across the back here okay great that filled in nicely and so what you’re gonna do for the rest of the back is you’re gonna put two there and go all the way around with that basically and then after we do that i think it’s just The sort of wedge at the bottom you go in one and fill it all the way across and go in one and just keep going down until you get down to just the one you’ve got the little arrow pointing down good job all right cool now at the edges here You’re going to have one hole just fill that in with one smooth red sandstone block boom boom on either side and you are pretty close to done i think all we have left to do are the ears and the horns and light it up so let’s get going with the ears so We’re going to start with a block of smooth red sandstone and then we’re gonna go with three of the acacia and then one more block on the side that looks weird but now the rest of it we’re just gonna fill in with red sandstone stairs so one in that direction one the Opposite underneath one regular and one upside down and then this way we’re gonna go one two boom gives you the nice weird looking but kind of cool ears i think i think it matches pretty well so we’ll do the same on the other side with one smooth red sandstone stair uh Block right there three acacia planks and then one more smooth red sandstone and then we’re gonna do the uh stairs right side up upside down right side upside down and then two more in this direction boom boom groovy all right now it’s just the horns so in this open spot we’re gonna stack Three two and then two of the smooth sandstone the rest is smooth sandstone stairs upside down here to get that curve and then just right side up one two three simple looks good though i think it matches really well so we’re gonna do the same on the other side with three smooth sandstone Straight up and then two branching off of that and two more then all we gotta do is smooth sandstone stairs and you’re done one two oh three two more two one Done except for uh some fire i think that’s about it that looks really good i like it i think it’s a good build i hope you like it too let me know what you think in the comments if you would have done anything differently but that looks good All right let’s get on to lighting it up so we’re just gonna have to light up the actual portal itself and then burn the netherrack and you’ve got a nice flaming portal to look into enjoy All right guys thanks for stopping by i really appreciate you checking out my video i hope you liked the build thank you very much stay tuned for the next crazy thing that i built subscribe and like goodbye Video Information
