Welcome to a brand new modpack this is feed the factory isaac it feels great to be back on luscious green grass with nature by my size uh all of these lovely trees and animals singular this animal uh animal singular all of these lovely animals isaac uh by my side

One one with one with nature isaac um it’s great to be here with you the most um humane um animal friendly uh peta certified player on this server that is me i am peter certified animal friendly and nick we are not playing a sky block we’re not

Playing a cave factory we’re not playing an ocean block nick we are here in what is not quite a regular minecraft world nick but there’s a lot more regular than some of the skyblock packs that we’ve been playing as of late hmm it is actually refreshing i can’t believe i’m

Saying this it’s refreshing to be you know what feels like a more vanilla minecraft world right how is that it’s yeah it’s crazy it’s nice as i mentioned this isn’t quite a vanilla minecraft world and you’ll also notice right from the get-go here we don’t have ftb ultimine we don’t have

Excavate but we do have some mod installed that will chop down the entire tree above wherever you break so if you break the bottom log the whole tree comes crumbling down which i’m very happy about yeah that’s nice because it means that um i don’t have to forget

Because i don’t have to worry about remembering there’s no buttons to hold no nothing man this is already my favorite pack we’ve ever played isaac and you’re allowed to quote this when i’m like crying in agony in maybe 12 episodes time or maybe in two episodes time oh wow the uh how

Horrendous this could potentially become but i hope doesn’t isaac oh i’m sure it works oh the the bottom block side note also takes longer if the tree is larger really yeah i just cut down an absolutely chunking tree and it took quite a while i wonder if it’s um tree capitated do

You remember tree cap potato that was uh that used to be the mod that we used to cut down trees like this man really yeah decapitator what that was i’m pretty sure that was the mod back in the day before ultimine and excavate and all that before all the kids got tick-tock

Optimal for factory construction that’s nice required when you start the pack and you go to create a world there are like two default like um blueprints you can choose from one is flat and one is like regular and it was like the flat one’s better for a factory building and i was

Like yeah that sounds perfect right i’ll take it flat world but with trees so all good and different biomes as well the next thing nick if you look right up infinite dare time it is never not daytime man in this world it’s brilliant do you know what i was thinking before

So um you know breaking the boundaries of the fourth wall a little bit here so i we we were on here on this server for a few minutes before we started airing and i was going to actually suggest i was like i was like oh do you want to

Reset the time so it doesn’t immediately become night i forgot to say that but it doesn’t bloody matter yeah also no mobs i was just about no yeah i think at all i think it might be on peaceful if anything so yeah i think those are all the things

I need to mention right again nick but if you open the quest book which you can do either with the the book in your inventory or with the q key actually before that nick second another great thing we have the crafting station mod look at that boom no tinkers no tinkers

Just the crafting station mod i know it just gets better for you and one thing that i am a little not happy about but just like it’s a nice change of pace nick this mod pack has no refined storage and no applied energistics too okay which i i

Do like those mods a lot however the last few packs we’ve made have been just a deluge of endless fiction we’ve just been teaching our system how to craft every single item in existence and then requesting a billion of them right it’s just isaac this this quest

Book it’s it’s got a reasonable amount of items in it isaac it doesn’t have singularity isn’t it isaac no secular series he’s losing it so the first question says that click me it says quantum research is perfectly safe they said nothing could possibly go wrong oh how wrong they were now i’m

Stuck in this weird blocky world and i need to find a way to get back luckily i was smart enough to pick some tools especially my auto science kit now to figure out how to get out of here of course isaac the auto science kit which is uh

Something every scientist gets when they start of course when they’re when they’re born of course when someone says i was born a scientist it’s because they were born with an auto science kit obviously the next question was research it says you might have noticed that you don’t have access to everything that you

Should should have at the beginning you’ll have to research them first so the way that this tank is uh kind of set up is similar it’s not like a factorio style research system built into it where the so the main this first quest page that we’re in nick is where all of the

Kind of main quests are going to take place and there are some hidden quests this quest page is actually quite massive right but they’re all hidden right now which is nice it gives players like you there the feeling that they’re close to the end yeah and then at the precipice it then

Takes away that open satisfaction by displaying more quests after the fact isaac of course so the the other tabs that are not the start here quest type these are all just like stores but they’re actually like research trees oh right all of these just contain things that we can unlock

With the research points so if you open up the first here um research transfer you’ll see at the top there is one uh there’s like a tick box for moving items but if you click on like the better conveyor belts quest uh just under the uh chest in the first time yeah yeah

Yeah see that one yeah you’ll see there’s eight logistics research exactly these things so once we have the research we get that we can click the game stage button and that will unlock the ability for us to craft the conveyor belts right now if you type conveyor

Belt into jei it shows nothing like not the belts that oh they are there don’t mind but the actual recipe for them isn’t there so it is not it’s not available to to actually yeah you wouldn’t be able to craft them right and like if you look in the second tier

The red tier it says processing there were quite a few thermal expansion machines the pulverizer the redstone furnace the competitor if you search for any of those they’re just not in jei that’s all let’s have a look right oh yeah but once you unlock them by handing in let’s have a look the

Pulverizer needs 32 logic logistics resource and uh research and 16 mechanics research once you have those you’ll unlock the processor uh the the pulverizing machine and that will unlock the recipe and then we can make the pulverizer oh right okay so basically we need to we need to find a way to just

Create tokens out the wazoo isaac we need yeah well we’re going to ultimate that right we’ve got a factorial style we’re going to mine the resources automatically and and go from there nick where this next quest is so the next one says know your tools we have

Two different kinds of quote unquote all scanners so i’m going to take these right away if you look in your inventory you have an advanced or scanner which is the blue rectangular dude and then you have the seismic reader yeah which is which is like a it’s it’s having a little dance party

Man this is fantastic it looks great if you were if you open this by right clicking um it’ll draw up a map of the area around us now we have been given copper ore iron ore redstone diamond and coal one of each if you put for example the

Iron ore in that top left slot it will show you where all of the iron like quote-unquote is yeah you can swap copper out i’ll show you the copper and then diamond i’ll show you the diamonds then coal obviously shows you the cold so i think that we should head

Maybe straight forward we should head like over in this direction potentially and see if we can’t find some uh like get ourselves into a chunk that has iron all of the good stuff right iron coal i think those would be the two immediate um immediate requirements yeah exactly exactly the

Most uh pressing items that we probably need although isaac well yeah actually we need it for a few hours about to say we don’t need any torches because it’s always day time and there’s no more that’s true oh so the that’s what the seismic reader does the advanced all scanner kind of does

The same thing but the advanced all scanner if you right click it will tell you what’s in the current or you’re in oh right right yeah so we’ve got 563 iron yeah and there’s some aluminum and diamonds it just shows you what’s in the current chunk yeah like it shows you

Everything right like we knew there was iron here but we didn’t know there was aluminum for example but now we do oh i see i see so these you use these interchangeably depending on if you want to find something specific or if you kind of just want to know what

Generally is in the area um bingo okay so okay uh next quest says uh diggy diggy holders just wants us to get his cobblestone nick easy easy given these diamond tools i know that’s fantastic nick because as soon as we complete this quest we get given uh an iron hammer an iron

Excavator and 16 charcoal oh my goodness an iron excavator is that like large gr grass removal it’s going to i think excavator is just a 3×3 shovel nick oh right yeah yeah i won’t um do too much destruction to the beautiful nature around us isaac because i’m still

Basking in the glorious green man like this is beautiful compared to just uh expansive gray or just the abyss of knocking we used to all right it’s so good it’s so good this is where it gets a bit more interesting because now what we can do is we can start to build these

Uh miners so you have got a 16 burner drill component this is what we’re going to start with now to build a burner drill you place down eight of these burner drill components like that and it makes this little triangular boy and then from there i’m going to craft up another

Crafting station because i think i left the last one back oh i’ve got it i got it don’t you worry i picked it up behind his eyes if you place this down and then you can shift right click on like one of the slides so if i shift right click up here

At this top like right is now set to the output and so now if i put a chest there any resources mind will be also placed into this chest and then the way that these work if you open up the burner drawer component you’ll see in here we can place in fuel

At the bottom and then this is where the iron drill heads come in you place those at the top and now look at this oh my goodness me look at that it’s digging away and if you check the chest man it’s gonna start digging uh like the blocks in between

The surface and the ores it’s trying to mine exactly yes i actually i don’t know if the odds are physically there or not i think they might be maybe i know i’ve played like i’ve tinkered with sky block packs that do this and there are no comments

Just regenerating them right i see i see potentially but the number should be going down in our um like advanced door scanner and seismic reader right so there is a limited number of resources here that we can that we can acquire but it does say in

The quest book that the iron drill head can only mine iron copper redstone coal and diamond so those are the only ones we can mine right now but i believe we’re going to get higher tier drill heads in the future okay cool and i’ve got i’ve got a drill as well

So if there’s anywhere else okay well i put this down in the wrong place because there’s actually no iron here which is why we’re just getting diamonds and thankfully though we can uh we can pick these up and uh and move them and spat your charcoal back out at you okay hold on

Isaac let me just consult my seismic reader for some iron oh i’m not i’m not rating how long it takes to load it does take a minute yeah here we go okay so there is some very close actually yeah we were there just a second ago right

Blocks manually later on we uh we can actually and actually maybe already can’t yeah if you have a capsule you’ll see that there are different uh capsules here oh yeah uh they should be dropped out of b58s yeah basically though as we go along as we go

Forward you can like craft capsules that when you right-click them or build a certain multi-block right right so especially with like big complex multi blocks like these these are not really complex these burner draw miners but like as we get into more complex machinery and if we want to put

Down like 50 of them we don’t want to have to manually craft them instead we can craft like 50 capsules and then just deploy those by right there that’s cool that’s cool and then we actually start with the starters yeah i was going to say oh yeah let’s have a look isaac

Boom oh look at this this is perfect in london they charge you two grand a month to live in one of these isaac do you want to put yours right next to me you’re just going to mention yeah so do i just throw it so you right

In an ideal world we could like kind of circle the feeding right where the coal goes right back into the minus to keep them going like they mind the call that then feeds them and continually keeps it going and we’re pretty close to some cold chunks they’re not too far away oh yeah

Yeah this is this map north oriented or you’re facing orientation exactly i have no idea yeah it’s a bit confusing like if i open it now facing this way let’s have a look because when i’m when i’m using a sound i think it’s north oriented i think it

You’re coming to a roundabout like only only psychos said it that way isaac first thing i do is push the little thing that likes make sure that it’s always like the direction you’re going in is always facing upwards right i agree with that for oh gosh there’s nothing

Over here i agree with that for car set nerves however for minecraft minimaps i kind of heard that our spins when we spin at the minute yeah no that’s i want my minecraft looking at maps in general like even looking at google maps when you’re not driving yeah i always have

My orientation of the way my entire city works is always based on where north is right so yeah ma’am if you press y you get the mini map settings uh if you go to view settings i’ve locked mine to north obviously you don’t have to i might also

Change some other settings as well potentially because it’s um size is auto 173 i bring the size down a bit like it’s a bit big view settings lock mini map north on okay my size is auto 165 isaac what’s yours i’ve just loaded it to 150 but you know it’s not

It’s not messed up yeah that’s actually i also don’t like that it’s locked fully in the corner so i’m going to bring it out of the corner a little bit which might make me a bit of a psycho but i prefer it like there like it’s fully locked in the top right

Hand corner oh no that’s nasty you need a little yeah a buffer right yeah if you change if you go to change position top right mine’s already actually fine like it’s already right it was like almost locked yeah that’s a bit weird yeah you need uh

Like that’s the actually how expensive are the drills i’ve got a spare burner drill and a spare drill hair dye so the drill heads though are actually just iron like you can make more of them oh yeah it’s a lot of iron but it is iron

Finding what you want finding a bloody vein of two coming back up to smelt them this is fantastic it’s great right i’m i’ve got so much positivity that i’m sure is going to be shattered into pieces um in like 15 episodes maybe but i think the start of this peck

Is um is paced well they just throw you right in right yeah like we’re doing stuff man look at this this is this is progress size yeah we’ve got a house got two houses you’re right we’re on the property ladder it’s more progress than real life exactly

I’ve done more here in the last 36 minutes that i have in the last 24 years oh but here we go i’ll put one down this is the cause so now the tricky bit is um is moving the items around now it looks like you can make hoppers so i think

It’s possible for these coal miners at least that what we might be able to do is quite simply take iron craft that with a chest to make a hopper and then i think we can probably just do this yeah look at that man let’s have a look i think this works oh

Just look at that the call just feeds it’s self-feeding that is well good okay so this will just keep getting cold right yes so itself it was it’s self-powered now as long as there’s coal available yeah in the uh in the ground uh effectively put that in

So i’m interested as well actually as to whether or not like because i feel like we’re burning through a lot of the call here already it’s 639 units i don’t know what units means is that 639 or or yeah we’re already down to 631 though so we’ve used eight units very quickly

So i feel like we’re gonna burn through the amount of coal here quickly so i wonder a few things i wonder if a there becomes a better way of getting call from existing nerds or b if we have to go much further afield and if as we go

Further afield the nerds get bigger and there’s more stuff on the ground yeah right i see i wonder if that’s the case maybe yeah i don’t know we do have uh the tiny coal in this pack so you can craft one call into nine tiny call and each tiny call will smelt

Exactly one item oh cute yeah so instead of having to like burn a whole call just about one iron yeah the rest of it’s wasted exactly yeah yeah you can get ultra good efficiency wow isaac this is this is the trash did you see the the golden chest

That we got as a reward man i did see that i’ve got an in fact here we go is it going to work it down so wow there we go can you double that up no but still it’s good no you can’t but still no you can’t still

Who the author of packs are who do we have to credit do you know off the top of your head this um feed the factory nick if i type in exclamation mark pack in the twitch chat this pack is made by sir thank you for um coke brick

Being cobblestone and stone instead of having to make a stupid bloody oven that makes it it’s not the thing that makes creosote as well is that the the oven is very easily have made us go and find clay by a buy some sand get some water

And some gravel and craft that up and smelt it down and get some sandstone and all that other you know other stuff but you know veneta just wants us to get into the into the automation to have a good time man he does he just wants us to have a good

Get compactors from thermal expansion that can make plates and gears for us and we’re gonna set up big factories that pick up the stuff move the stuff again no applied energy so i find storage so everything we move is gonna have to be done physically in the world

If you go all the way back to the capsule recipe two furnaces three iron sheet metal and then one multi-block capsule the multi-block capsule is made from machine casings eight machine casing is modulated right okay it’s so i see how it all works isaac and i’m assuming here we go isaac
