Minecraft Foxes Have Secrets!

Hello and welcome to this video today I’m showing off a bit of fun that I’ve been having with the new foxes in a new Minecraft beta one point thirteen point zero point one yes I’m doing this on the Windows 10 edition but what I would really really were to find out was if

You could look here says new features added the false blah blah blah but it says here foxes can pick up and carry items in their mouths foxes may eat what they are carrying sometimes with interesting results and that is what we’re actually doing today

So this is a bit of a secret kind of features kind of thing and I guess I don’t know if this is the same kind of thing as what’s on Java right now but maybe it’s like a bedrock exclusive feature so and this is my results guys

Basically I’ve gone ahead I’ve grabbed a load of foxes here I’ve worked out all these different foods they can kind of eat and in my testing it’s basically of whatever the player eats it does the same sort of thing basically I don’t really see the point of it to be fair

But hey-ho it’s kind of in it I don’t know if it’s the same for Java but as you can see we’ve got spider i rotten flesh the chorus flute fruit sorry the enchanted apple the totem of undying yes that actually works a crazy stuff I’m just grabbing this sword to show you

That and obviously a pufferfish and yes if I just throw these items in there was he gonna pick them up and obviously I can’t really tell when they’re gonna eat these items they kind of just do as they go so let’s start with the temple of

Undying so I’ve got a pre ope sword here and as you can see he died it made the sound he’s got particles coming out he’s still alive pretty ap way to keep your Fox away alive sorry here we go it’s gonna give him poison look this one’s gonna

Teleport nope there is obviously this one’s got hunger now and this one has been poisoned unfortunately so that is pretty much the vanilla II kind of side of things and there might be more maybe I’ve missed some but possibly the other enchanted Apple will probably work as

Well again a super ap item for Fox but and also it just quickly they do spawn in with certain items in their mouths like an egg further emerald it’s a very low chance some other things obviously I’ve found most of this from the Wikipedia I wouldn’t have known about

This one if it was at the bat and next I’ve got us myself a derpy artic Fox here yes I’ve put a red banner in its love and it looks like a tongue sticking out doesn’t it I mean I tried using a red carpet but unfortunately no it doesn’t work they

Haven’t actually rendered in the like the texture for it for some no-name reason and anyway this guy is just here to represent obviously you can put these like skulls on them but I wanted to just show you as well they can actually pick up these items through fences so if you

Actually go for that there we go and it will actually have a dragon head attached to his nose that’s stupid are you mad anyway so yeah just be careful if you’ve obviously got and fences like for this and obviously they could jump out of them as well

But I’m not really telling you how the mechanics work on a fox and you should know that by now I imagine and next this little fella so I need to actually grab myself a kind of spawn egg here so let’s just grab a spider one for a laugh and

Basically this is a tamed Fox with this enchanted sword in so he’s got quite a different you know a variety of cool enchantments on a sword but what actually is pretty cool about the Fox is if you don’t escape okay he’s going they’re so fast man what is pretty cool

About these is obviously if you tame them and you can do that by breeding them and then like kind of taking the baby away with a lead and growing it up and you can breed them with sweet berries and yeah you if you get hit by a hostile mob they will actually defend

You but I don’t know how far they’ll try and defend you but I gotta wait till he hits me there we go now he’s coming left with his Opie sword come on save me there we go he’s got him done and he spun it out and he’s gone for a spotty

To ride ah yummy yeah anyway so yeah what I’m trying to show you there is enchantments work on these little fellas and you cannot put armor on him obviously but yeah I just wanted to let you know obviously you might know these things already but this is the biggie

This is for the main reason I’m making this video if you make custom items yes items that are food related it actually works with these foxes and they’ll grab these items what on earth is going on here I’m just gonna have to kill you because you’re squeaking I’m so sorry buddy you

Can run away only I’ll let you live for another day yes so custom items actually work with these foxes which is in my eyes absolutely fantastic because it’s just more reason to play around with them right so here we go we’ve got two foxes here and this is a fire charm and

A mega potion okay from my sky factory that should be coming out hopefully this week please 1.12 please man you got it you got it anyway let’s spray this one in here and hopefully they’re gonna eat these quite quick so when you eat this actually gives you 16 minutes as you can see

There 16 minutes of fire resistance okay it’s quite an AP little thing therefore they’d never and you should eat that but the potion yes who actually make the drinking that makes the drinking sound and here we go so he’s got fire resistance now 16 minutes like and this fella we go boom

He’s got all of these magical effects now he’s what seriously Opie but did you notice he’s actually got the bottle in his mouth so if I actually take this potion look and drink I have to go in game aids s for this to work and actually drink this you’re gonna see

I get quite a lot of effects here if I hit Zed for five minutes okay again quite an AP item on my map but you obviously get a glass bottle back because obviously like you’ve drank the potion but yes that she works in this little fella obviously he’s got some crazy speed

Boosting things going on here and yeah so it might be quite hard to hit now but obviously if I go to their email this is the problem with this potion right sometimes you don’t get everything I’ve done it on purpose it’s a 0.9 chance so you might not have had health boost and

But obviously you did see he had effects right I’m not making this up I need to drop it deep did we go and there we go he’s cut it again and now he’s still alive as you can see and I’m using this pretty ap sword sorry I thought he died

Then manymoon Oh actually pretty much died so yeah you can make some pretty AP foxes here and obviously do some cool stuff with these fellas I’m actually loving this little birthday at the moment obviously it’s nice to get a new creature in the game and they’re pretty

Cute I mean they do sleep as well and do other stuff but all I know the whole taking item mechanic in Eternia is a very fun and I don’t know whether to implement this into obviously sky factory but they’re not out till the 1.13 so yeah it’ll have to be next
