Minecraft Mage Tower Progress!!

You All right welcome everybody to my second stream tonight uh continuing this 100 subscriber or 100 not subscribers sorry 100 twitter follower uh live stream we are doing our second video now the minecraft one and we are on our uh vtuber collaboration server again to give you a

Mage tower update i’m going to show you the progress i’ve made so far and then we’re going to go on a hunt for some sand i have some windows that would benefit for some glass greatly so we’re going to hunt for that i’ve kind of been given a general direction we can

Go so we’ll try that as soon as we kind of get prepared all right so you didn’t see that we’ll give you a look from the outside here first it’s nighttime let me save this for uh sleep first you know sleeping it’s kind of like saving the game in minecraft basically

All right that’s done oh look at all the things dying out there there’s an enderman out there too it’d be really funny if the spider and the and the uh skeleton attacked each other doing their guy it looks like we have almost everything uh i may have some

Random wood here but we have most everything put away uh i could use some torches but i don’t have any coal so that’s unfortunate um all it’s right dying yet so i can go back to you know normalcy let’s go kill this spider ah as a creeper why creeper why these things are

Everywhere tell you seriously they are absolutely okay they’re just everywhere i swear it wasn’t me this time guys they’re telling me that my forest is basically a monster spawn ground and it’s just a forest to make wood basically so i can go ahead and do things with it but yeah spider come

Here anyway so there’s my glorious mage tower so far um i have one two three four five six possibly levels currently on the mage tower um it’s kind of a work in progress my goal is uh i kind of i’m competing without my opponent knowing my v tuber friend over there has made

His big giant castle and retaining wall and everything castle walls and my goal is to make my tower taller than the tallest point of his building and gate over there so i have a ways to go yet but yeah now we actually ran out of brick

To continue going up as you can see he’s a lot of uh let’s call it black slate or dark slate something like that brick and does it use a lot of that anyways i i did an oopsy the other day let’s see if skeleton stays away and i made

A lot of doors i misclicked so all those doors are here for free it’s going to be the sign free doors and wood etc all right now can i because i really don’t want to blow up that boat accidentally if there’s a creeper in there how you died

Grab that stuff and run away anyways this is the beautiful entrance nothing else around right yeah that’s the beautiful entrance and i have my little banners here i want better banners in the future designs but that’s just what i had for coloration oh can i grab this one too no apparently not okay

Anyway emoji jocks mage tower let’s go in shall we this is my bed currently that’ll be moved up to the top floor eventually well perhaps top floor we’ll see having on the first floor right by the front door is kind of awkward to say the least i might also

Expand this to be a double door entrance but for now one you know one door is fine so i like mila ray’s platform with a painting i had a friendly uh pet chicken in here for a little bit but he kind of uh disappeared on me uh

But since they were telling me there’s a monster spawn zone in here i don’t know if maybe someone out the door when they’re hunting monsters or the monsters killed the chicken or what happened but uh anyways so this is probably my favorite staircase of the ones i made

Built nicely into the wall um they have random components in the chest here a lot of wood like i said crazy matter of fact actually while i’m here i’m gonna need some carrots for this trip i have a carrot farm so that’s not gonna be an issue trust me

Um i kind of want to also make a bed to bring with me it’s probably a smart move i’m missing something for bed what am i missing for a bed um okay yes just what about a white bed oh i i need more wool okay not enough wool gotcha

Well then why didn’t they grab all that duh bad bed oh there we go now i have my travel bed that’s an issue i’ve had in the past where i’ve done traveling and not brought what i needed and that was kind of a dumb move i’m also going to bring a

Door in case i need to make like a temporary cave and i’m going to top off my dirt blocks just in case i need that put that away uh let’s bring a shovel or two just in case we’re also going to make ourselves um some wooden pickaxes i know wood

Pickaxes are kind of bogus but you know hey what you’re gonna do um i’m gonna grab more sticks to bring those with a little bit more wood i have plenty of wood so it’s not really an issue dump that there dump that there dump that there i think we’re good all right

Yeah so this is level two um i’m not sure how i’m splitting things up so far but we’ll find out once i’m going to tower again this staircase is very similar to level one uh three is where i have this lovely balcony and uh i have other balconies which you’ll see

But this one i think is my favorite it uh for some reason offers like the perfect view of the sunset you can go to this side too and see everything so it’s pretty wide open uh i don’t know eventually if i’m gonna do like a glass archway here and double doors i’m just

Gonna leave wide open i like kind of like the wide open design we’ll see if i keep that or not uh so here i change the uh how i did the steps and i’m not sure if i like it better or worse or what but you know it is what it is um

So here we did kind of another porch or porch i keep calling it a porch balcony but a little smaller even though this is higher and one would think the sunset would look prettier from up here i actually like it better from the one below i don’t know why but i do

Same concept for the balcony uh this one’s pointing south too in case i look this way um i haven’t really made anything pointing this way because well you got its wall so when we get higher high way higher uh maybe i’ll do one point that

Way too but for now i call this good all right so this is what the third level i think i said something like that i i forget uh supposed to be the fourth level and here we’re gonna have big picture windows not a balcony because the same view is down below but

We’re gonna have all three sides so it’ll be nice and actually we could probably knock this out here yeah and have another window aimed this way too a little more light during the daytime that way i mean we’re not seeing much here but it kind of matches all four ways and

This will be filled in eventually i need like i said i need more more block and this wood part will be blocked as well and i’m not entirely happy with how this stairway turned out so that might change as well i don’t know we’ll find out i guess uh but yeah

So this is the topmost level i’ve completed we’re going to have like little small mini balconies here and then over here and then actually i could probably make a mini balcony here too honestly um but like i said facing this way it feels kind of pointless until we get higher

So for now that’s kind of what we’re doing um i might make a third one over here i don’t know we’re also kind of uh going in one block and from here on out every level to a certain degree i think we’re going to bring in one block so it kind of

Tapers towards the top we’ll see i might change that who knows so all right so that is the mage tower that i’m working on as you can see i have a lot of space to use and to play with and i don’t even know what each

Floor is going to be i know i want at least one to be uh plush carpeted seating areas a lot of bookshelves things like that it just kind of makes sense to me because the mage tower i do studying and stuff i’m almost thinking like uh maybe this layer because this level has

No windows or anything so having like the main library down here i don’t know we’ll find out do i have everything for my travels i probably put that polish deep slate away quick because that’s at a premium anyway all right so we have food uh we don’t

Have torches because i don’t have any coal unfortunately um but maybe i can find some on my trip and i do have a bed so i can make a little hole in the wall and sleep if i have to so that’ll work okay so what we’re going to do then is we are

Going to wait until night resets and then we’re going to take a trip that way i thought about taking you guys down into my deep gorge mine and showing you the updates there too and i might if we have time um like i’m kind of trying to keep the stream down to about

An hour i mean we’ll see if that works and while the sun is setting i switched out from that lightning kugel’s uh kind of beer mix i am now rocking one of those uh what was it called chocolate dingle or something like that um that have i’ve had on other streams before

It’s definitely a favorite definitely a darker beer than i normally enjoy but it’s so chocolatey and smooth that it’s hard to care ah okay let us go on a trip let us so we’re gonna go down the valley here i think because i don’t think i’ve shown anybody

In my visitor center since i finished it well sort of finished it finished it enough i guess that it’s usable now it’s kind of out of the way though so i don’t know if that’s good for visitor center or not but whatever get guest bunk house sorry not visitor center

Ah it kind of doubles all right so i have my little sign up here maggie jack’s guest bunk house and that was more i originally i had my treehouse way over there which i’ll show you guys later possibly um and i wanted something closer so i’m like you know what we’ll build this

It’s kind of castle-esque it doesn’t take many resources to make but then it’s closer to town so if i’m here you know i can come in and we have three different colored beds for guests eventually i want to have like night stands between a flower paws off and stuff

Kind of tapered the ceiling that loft area is kind of my private area as it were little light quote unquote fixture sort of double bed my painting flower pot chest anything useful in here not exactly okay and then of course it needs to be more decoration in here and i’ll address too

And eventually i want to possibly make a doorway from like here down and then do like a connecting doorway maybe like from here over and into like a mine kind of into that into that mountain so that’s something for the future do we have any coal in here we do speed that

Means we can make some torches 32 torches i can look at that okay i think it really should be all we need else we need a boat are we gonna need a boat guys what do you think i don’t think we are but we’re gonna bring one with anyway just to cover our

Bases all right sun’s still high in the sky good good spend that much time in there anyway so i’m thinking because i was told that this direction was sand so my guess is that this way is maybe the beach or the shore or i don’t know some other third thing like that

And as you can kind of tell i always forget that running is a thing in minecraft and i never actually run so i tend to go places slower is that a bunch of coal down there and then did i hear a monster i thought i almost heard a monster

Looks like somebody’s explored down here before possibly alright well we’re gonna do Because i want that coal so i can make more uh torches if i need to uh iron pickaxe it’s so much better than my usual stone ones my deep gorge mine is really awesome for deep slate that’s what’s called deep slate which makes up my mage tower it’s really awesome for that

And it’s also really awesome for copper but it absolutely sucks when it comes to iron i found very very little iron in that place unfortunately of course it’s raining outside why wouldn’t it be the problem is wooden pickaxes they die fast and they’re really really freaking slow

It’s like come on guys i could dig it faster than my hands alright so we have some coal now so we can make more torches if we need to or i don’t know burn stuff whatever so let’s get going yeah so um the the lovely guy who manages

That’s what’s down there who manages this uh youtuber collaboration uh server he uh he releases like mod patches that we all use for uh voice chat and just all kinds of different things and he really certainly released one that has this radar this little kind of radar mini map on it

And i have absolutely no idea what any of the dots mean whatsoever because today was my first time using it so it’s kind of uh wow that is really far down and dark it’s kind of an experience um so yeah we will see what happens and apparently there’s

An airplane landing above my head i don’t know if you can hear that through the microphone but it’s kind of funny all right keep going this way see here’s hoping that when i get back i can actually find my way back hey here’s some obsidian almost looks like somebody created this

I don’t have a diamond pickaxe it’s kind of pointless that i found this but you know hey bubble bubble there are a lot of people on the server that all they do all day long is explore um go to the nether and fight things everything i’m totally the opposite i just kind of

I kind of sit at home as it were and uh put some sand over there maybe sand deposit because i’m looking for sand i don’t think something bill just built something i’m going to be totally lost i’m done here and i’ll be able to find my way back and it’s going to be

Hilarious for your viewers anyway it’ll be a good time yes i wonder who lives way out here goodness this is quite a ways away unless it was like a temporary camp until we found like a a main spot to stay or something yeah i was told that this way it was

Dude is that like an actual legit village i don’t think i’ve ever actually seen a village in minecraft i don’t know what that was like i’ve never actually found one because there’s uh water over there oh this is a handymap then i guess so i don’t know what the dots mean but i

Can certainly tell all right so are they going to try to kill me at this village or is this a nice village there’s an iron golem up there it looks like there’s water down there so that’s that’s good for possibilities of sand yeah hi villager how’s it going wow

One emerald for a loaf of bread um well you can do wheat for emerald that that’s farmer novice okay this is cool i’ve never actually run across the village before at least i’m assuming that this is a naturally made village and it wasn’t somebody random making it i

Mean it could be i suppose but that’s pretty cool never seen that before oh hey do you got anything to say about you nothing okay it’s that snow down there over here this other was sand but excuse me oh there’s some sand down there yeah for sure okay

Getting down there might be interesting however but i’d have to kind of glad we brought a boat because i might need to go up river i have no idea where the sun is um i need to go back river to actually be able to get home we’ll find out okay

So mr boat you’re gonna be our friend i’m glad i built a boat i tell you what there’s a chicken pork chicken looks like what’s going on here all right let us grab some sand now hopefully i grab sand and not lava we’ll find out because there’s that lava flow right

Above there but i don’t think it’s cool enough to matter yeah i think it’s mostly just stopping right there but just in case i can grab these first okay and okay i feel like it’s getting dark now randomly great okay so time to build a really really quick shelter don’t you know

There we go all right let’s get more sand i don’t know how far down i can go before the water is going to come in and be annoying there we go yeah i figured it’s gonna be right around there all right let’s get out of here really i tell you some days

Some days this game yo okay so we’re going to fill that in as well and that and we’re going to do what i’m assuming is going to make lava come out yeah yep i figured as much oh there’s a little cave back in here this is a very bad time probably to

Explore a cave but you know what you’re gonna do dude there’s a waterfall here isn’t there or like something yeah no pass i’m not going down a waterfall on my boat it’s my only boat well i have more wood so it’s not necessarily like you know end-all be-all or anything with this cave

Didn’t know they had water caves in here that’s gravel i think all right here’s my next uh location for some sand grabbing to fight the water for this one but yeah worse things okay i think i got all i’m gonna get that’s above water anyway and i suppose i can grab some here

Down a layer because i’m just gonna float anyway i know we have a shovel we could use but i figure hey you know what that’s probably uh a better idea if we just use what we have or like i should say don’t use our our limited resources until we

Find like a really big giant thing of sand i mean technically we already have enough project that i have in mind anyway but it’s a bit of a track so you might just grab everything holy giant dipping cavern thing batman goodness all right nice part spot to park the old belt here

Now what would definitely sink me is if we ran over a lava block because or not bubble block uh i don’t know what they’re called those hot steel and glowy things that pull your boat down underwater seems like a less than fun time if you ask me it’s funny because most minecraft

Servers have been on or i should say well local land servers um they usually have like beaches full on beaches i’m not really seeing much of that here but i mean we’ll explore with our our little boat further all righty i am so glad i got this boat

Man that was a that was a good choice on my part all right i want to park it on a normal land so that i can get out of it there you go yeah i’m sure watching me play dead by daylight was probably more entertaining than watching me play minecraft because

Minecraft is a little slow sometimes unless there’s like something action oriented happening but by the same token um campaign can’t play dead by daylight all night right i’ll probably play it again friday because friday is my other night that i kind of have nothing going on i technically have nothing going on

Thursdays either but i usually try to keep that as kind of a calm relaxing night where i basically just kind of read a book all night i do a favorite author that recently released a book that i really want to read so that’s probably going to be what i do that i ate

Sugarcane can hold back lava that’s uh slightly unrealistic but you know nobody ever proclaimed minecraft to be realistic so whatever deep water cave under there oh we’re getting a lot of sand doing it this way at least that’s nice and so far we haven’t run out of daylight again we might though because

I’m kind of going far yeah i’m going the right direction up river i think maybe i don’t know we’ll find out where we end up hey more sand more sandy goodness how many yeah we don’t have much in the way of uh dirt left do we for emergency house building ways

I haven’t really been exploring that far in the server before so this is kind of fun just kind of have a river adventure come back with a metric ton of sand i want to say there was a guild quest that somebody posted for glass as well or sand or something i don’t know

We will find out i guess first of display maybe um anyway yeah so thursday i don’t plan on streaming on thursday but sometimes the mood just strikes me and i just do what i do so it’s possible i might stream anyway unsure at the moment oh somebody’s been here there’s a construction box

Um not really sure that’s worth getting out of my boat for i’m kind of i have a decent amount now so now i’m looking for like a larger deposit that’s above water uh this isn’t too bad it’s a lot faster to grab this once above water versus under so yeah

I always feel like i’m a time crunch in minecraft from outside that’s why i tend to uh when i play minecraft i tend to make mines and then just mine those lines more than anything else it just seems to be the best use of my time really

So here’s hoping we don’t run over any of those things that like sink your boat because that would suck or for that matter let’s not is that where we came from oh i don’t know traveling by boat just going random places so there’s a lot of dots here is that just like

I suppose i really don’t need to be able to shelter every single time so okay i’ve been doing that wrong probably but it’s extra nice being able to have a shelter i have to say so as i’ve mentioned before my goal is that uh next stream here we’re going to uh if i

Can get like a timer situation working with the anime um my goal is to try and stream that um i think what we’re going to watch is i don’t remember the entire name so i’ll i’ll post it when i post the the stream i’ll give like a slight warning on twitter

But it’s something about um like an assassin was reincarnated as a uh an assassin or whatever i don’t know i don’t remember what it’s called but uh yeah anyway something like that something about an assassin it’s actually pretty pretty awesome anime so far it has some not suitable for children parts shall we

Say um but it’s not bad for the most part it’s it’s pretty good if you skip those parts it is kind of a ah sort of harem anime not really it has a bunch of gals that fall for the main guy so in that way it’s harem but he doesn’t

Really have interest in all these girls necessarily so yeah yeah it’s nice being able to stream this without uh having all kinds of computer problems i have to say now if only i can get my internet to behave i’d really be all set tell you what uh let’s say you go this way

Have me going the wrong way i tell you so i was hoping to go upstream thinking that maybe i might get somewhere that i know but honestly i am hopelessly lost so i don’t know what’s going on or where i am at this point is that uh like a water follow up there

Guessing that’s what it is i don’t know what else it would be guess what it is don’t know my only hope is that boats don’t have durability because the boats have durability uh we’re kind of screwed well not really i have uh more wood along so there are plenty of

Trees around as you can see so there’s like an island an island over here or something it looks like that’s my guess anyway i was hoping that with the map i kind of figure out where i was as a b i’d be able to figure out where i was based on the map

And Worked my way home basically but i haven’t found anything that resembles civilization as of yet this is an interesting someone’s summer home perhaps or something like that oh hello anybody home yeah i think somebody’s building like a summer home over here or something i haven’t found berries anywhere else so

I apologize i just stole berry bush It’s like a store in here cool huh it’s kind of neat that somebody is building a random house over here i’m a vacation hideaway i guess you could call it i can go too far into there because i think let’s get some height perspective once and see

If i recognize anything like i said i am hopelessly lost because yeah no idea where i am not really i don’t see anything that screams any kind of thing to me so okay well we’re gonna keep going we’ll come out of this inlet and keep working our

Way around by boat uh what’s the i keep forgetting i can just plop a bed down and sleep i don’t have to make a home to sleep in my last uh or my personal server that i play on i play on sometimes with my daughter and that one Big cave there um that server i didn’t have a bed for the longest time so i got into yeah i’m going to stay with those this is a bad juju ones that pull you pull your ship down and you’re kind of screwed i would love to see a big giant like

Blocky area filled with iron that would be epic oh i was excited for a second there’s some iron right here some iron else is gonna be a very long block break it’s like a cave in here cool all right let’s get back in our boat i have absolutely no idea where people

Have explored before me so it’s kind of a big ginormous guess i also have absolutely no idea where we’ve explored already so could be going in a big giant circle or not i don’t know okay so this is different than the one we had yeah that’s inland more

I feel like we passed that already once ah finger twitch video yeah so i think what we’re gonna play after we do the anime watch along is i think we’re gonna play skyrim actually because i i checked and i actually don’t have civilization six reinstalled oops my bad yeah we’re going

Back the way we can which is honestly fine because i i got what i came for and i don’t know really where else to go necessarily so yeah i’m okay with going back to where we came from and there’s the village that we visited earlier

So we can find a better place to park because i’d like to bring my boat with me as it were somebody building something in there looks like let’s uh pop out here and we will grab our boat back take that grab the whole boat yeah dude okay

And we’ll hop up to the village for a nappy poo and a visit and then we will go over there and explore once morning comes because i do like exploration it’s a fun time hey bunny rabbit come back here ah oh aaron golem i don’t want to mess with you all right

Don’t mind me i’m just carrying my bed around you know as you do no wasn’t normally as ladies i thought it was well then oh they’re holding hands and staring deeply into each other’s eyes how sweet excuse me might i use your bed ah tasty chocolate dunkle i tell ya

Yeah i think i figured out that uh because like i said i’m kind of my movements are a little jerky here it’s not computer resources issues like we’ve had before before we did everything i think it’s a matter of i think the camera tracking is messed up i don’t know if it was

I believe it was smoother before so i think it’s actually the camera itself because it took that fall behind my desk the other day when i was moving stuff around so i think that’s what happened so we’ll find some way to maybe replace that with something better but not like

You know bank killer abra exploration time let’s go find out what those weird blocks inside that cave across the way were if i can figure out what direction they were that’s not what i wanted to do at least beds break easily positive right yeah it’s like

Blocks inside of a cave it’s kind of funky but hey there’s a nice crossing because of the ice here so bonus hopefully nothing kills us after gathering all that sand that would really suck i love how you slide and ice it’s kind of entertaining hey there’s more coal over there might

Go mine that click it’s another thing that i usually find everywhere and in my mind it’s not there for some reason all right up to the mind we go uh yeah that’s nice i like torches but i can’t even sword out to more than anything else right now um

Can we get up there question mark question mark okay there we go that’s kind of funky it’s like a secondary layer up top almost oh so i think we’re going to build a stairway that leads up to that upper layer because i’m curious what’s up there because you know curiosity was never a

Bad thing right no not at all ah what did i tell you curiosity right all right we’re just gonna do it this way then we’re gonna build upwards if we can and see if we can figure out what it is that way ah it’s like a lake up here

Well that’s kind of neat and there’s like a area down there it’s actually faintly lit up so i wonder if it’s got some other stuff going on there we don’t want to step there accidentally do we um yeah that’s not going to help you much all right let’s grab a block from here

Block there oh there it is i’m blind don’t mind me there we go let’s keep mining this uh lovely cobblestone here at least the nice thing is i’m noticing some pretty non-horrible picture quality so there’s that i guess you know be awesome if it was a thing in this in minecraft submarines

You imagine exploring all those watery areas and caves and submarines that’d be awesome well at the very least uh we have a lot of coal from this one from this exploratory mission so you know there’s that we have a lot of coal we have a lot of sand i’d say it was successful

I would say i can get down from here as i’m falling on my face then we’ll say it’s successful how does that sound yeah i think that sounds good it’s funny they’re saying right there i wonder if somebody else went and explored at one point i’ll leave my torches there as a

Proclamation that i’ve explored there i’m sure a lot of people have before me but you know hey to do yeah with that icy area around here one could really explore quite a bit further if they wanted to but whether it’s ice you always have to worry about freezing damage

As i discovered the hard way i will say that even even streaming here um i i can myself say that that dead by daylight stream is a lot more entertaining this minecraft one is kind of dull by comparison going from that excitement to this is kind of like okay well you know

We do what we do but otherwise it’s kind of kind of blah some nice trees over here alright so where did i come from so i know where i’m supposed to go because where did you come from where did you go where did you come from got nigel right excuse me mr sheep

Side of a barn apparently is that another village or am i crazy like a yeah i think it’s like a bigger village huh let’s go let’s go explore that one i just have my bed out i don’t have a weapon don’t mind me cool shelves please do not kill the cows or take

Anything without asking okay so that right there tells me that it’s actually somebody’s village that they built claimed oh there’s a portal too okay so yeah they actually built this other you two enjoy yourselves in there i guess okay so this is definitely a built village so that’s thing i have absolutely no

Idea i’ve never found villagers or a village in minecraft before so i have absolutely no idea how common they are if it’s something that’s supposed to be around naturally or if it’s something you have to build or yeah i don’t know any of that stuff so

I just got minecraft like two months ago and it’s by far not my only game so that proves a challenge right there too all right so i think i’m going the right way hey there’s a cat hey kitty how do i get a kitty again i forget hi hi

Hi you’re pretty come here um supposed to be a way that you can get an ocelot i think they’re called but i don’t recall how hey kitty kitty come here come here okay i don’t really have anything else to offer you besides maybe carrots if a cat likes a carrot then you’re kind

Of a weird cat hi no okay uh yeah that’s all i got so okay well we know cats are wild around here some in some places i guess so we learned that so it’s a building that way too here’s the black sheep again that we saw yeah so we’re going the right direction

To get home that’s good good to know good to know pretty sure we’re running out of daylight however see if this if this weird structure over here has any kind of uh it’s like a landing pad or something random landing pad yeah ah this yellow bed will forever be known as

Yeah but those dots on this uh mini map are actually fairly useful if you know what they are for i think i’ve seen any of these red flowers around elsewhere so grab them really quick well yep we’re going the right way because i remember that field of lava with the obsidian i think
