We thought it would be fun for everyone to kind of see the insider process of how we as builders create our builds and we’re just going to have like it it’s not going to be some kind of time lapse it’s just going to be us you guys commentary and any kind of shenanigans

None of this is scripted we’re just going with the flow and seeing what we make out of it so let’s keep it mouthfuls i think you missed you know what i’m like playing for food it’s fine this is beautiful what are we building today what’s what theme we think we’re going to go

For so this is the cool thing about this here is we have no idea what we’re doing okay we’re going to improv everything we’re going to try to see if we can come up with something cool from nothing so that’s the cool part right now no idea what we’re doing but

We’re gonna build some and we’re gonna build something cool exactly i mean we could start off with the most basic uh of build styles which is medieval but you’re really good at that but i love that could uh i don’t know maybe we could put a

Twist on it in some way you know but what i like nature how about we do like an overgrown type of medieval build to start off the series oh that’s beautiful yes yes yes overgrown oh the little a little ruin maybe a little little broken up

Yes exactly exactly it could do a i keep going into the third person we could do like you know what we thought of earlier this wasn’t miss batman wasn’t recorded but you could do an end well you know you see you see him when i’m one audition and

Well in the ruins and it could be some side kind some kind of like abandoned uh mythological area where they once performed magic tasks that were oh i like that and then oh and yes yes yes that’ll be like the center piece of the whole entire thing yeah yeah

Okay there’s another catch we only have two chunks of space to build in yeah because if we don’t restrict ourselves we’re just going to make something massive and it’s just going to keep going and this episode will never be released because we’ll never be finished

So yeah no we need to release it we got to we’re we’re gonna hold it back okay we gotta condense this i think two yes two plus it’s like two plus in one okay well that’s 34 yeah so uh two chunks is 32. so the border is adding

Only two blocks onto it because it’s obviously we have inside this area to place things so we can’t go outside this box no we can’t place things on the border either we have to stay within this what if i start building right here that’s illegal okay that’s fine so

I like i don’t know how you usually start things but i usually like kind of like building up a starting platform and then we can dig in pearl i love your your aesthetic starting platforms they’re so nice with a little gradient pearl i love it oh we’re doing that all right

Let’s do it yes yes with a little gradient pearl you got to get all the grays in there okay i got it’s just hold on mom bam okay Fancy a few improvements rather yeah yeah there you go there you go there you go you don’t do it there’s too much powder you know what what if we uh we add a little bit of a little bit a little bit of this one in between hold on

It’s very strong down the bottom and it works i like it now we have a platform look at that yeah we can build stuff on top wait hold on hold on you know you know what we got to do what i need i need to get some smooth quartz

All right okay uh if i could find it that would be amazing right there it is i found it all right and then then you do this what are you doing what is that what are you doing oh that’s a that’s a seven it’s a one to one no it’s a one

So we had the idea with the the little well like in the middle right being the centerpiece so do we want to do like are we doing like two small buildings or just one big building behind it like what are we going to go for here because it’ll be we could do hmm

It could be just one big build or because we uh hmm how it could be one big build or it could be more like a like a whole scene of uh of an area um well let’s let’s do a little diorama let’s pretend like this is the well right

That’s the world and uh let’s say like the yellow wall is like the buildings so if we want to do like if we’re centering around the world remember we don’t have like a lot of space either yeah yeah yeah so if we got like the well in the middle oh we could even

Kind of just like lay it out actually fully how much space are we gonna give the world like that much or something mm-hmm that’s it i’ve got to find out where the middle is first i think it had the middle perfect it’s uh i think it’s it’s

It’s going to be in the middle that’s um wait center even middles oh god there you go so i was pretty close it’s a two by two middle but i wasn’t there it was quite close so that’s enough that’s the middle right there and then the well we can kind of like

Maybe expand out to here or something new yeah that looks yeah that’s fine yeah so something like that maybe even smaller actually because it’s a well yeah yeah smaller and then we need enough room for like a path in the middle so we can pretend like there’s a path coming around the outside

Um and we’re gonna go with a little symmetrical square uh that’s kind of just like a a rough path estimate we can kind of like make it all wonky and natural and stuff when we actually build but that actually looks good anyways you could do it just like that all right

Build’s done time to go thank you for coming out yeah okay and then okay how about you lay some buildings out over there right we’ll see if we can get some buildings going yeah you know make the the buildings bigger in the back you know the smaller the

Front you know we do okay this is going to be on the corner oh look at that beautiful shape right there look at that something like that semi diagonal in a corner like a little tower or something you have such unique building shapes and i’m just like square but rotated

Rotate the squares are cool too don’t worry i love rotating squares rotating squares right you know in italy build i had like a path go out the back and it had like this cool archway that kind of came in the middle oh yeah you know yeah yeah especially with medieval stuff you

See a lot of these archways hmm and then i think oh i could just move this down a gatehouse kind of thing too maybe or something like that yeah exactly you’re really good at those gatehouses yeah i like it colors or something pretty yeah i feel like

I feel like we don’t have enough room for all the structures let’s how about we move this forward right yes because then uh the the well is closer to the front and then at the back we have more room i kind of typically whenever i like

Start going for roofs i start like using iron i don’t know why i use iron blocks for for roof shape but that’s what i kind of usually do it works you can see it is really bright wait so is this going to be like a little shed or something or

Yeah yeah yeah like a little little shed overhanging a little bit there so we can make like a soft sloping roof kind of coming up this way and kind of fill that up feel that little piece in there oh look at that okay oh kind of looks like a little

Uh stables or like actually an open shed doesn’t it instead of something that’s yeah like like little beams or something what’s what’s this like a little three by three beam in the middle or something that you can go through here yeah yeah add little archways too

Yeah look cute little archers i love me a good archway sure oh we don’t know we kind of don’t really have any height variation in the terrain either so what do we oh what should we we can start stepping it up yeah what if we um kind of

Yeah up here as well we can add even at the archway like this will be up yeah you can take it up a little higher and then we can add some terrain pieces in here hmm oh yes you’re so you look at the shapes you got going over there so good

I love that little shade pearl’s all nice now i just don’t know what to do for the i might make this into a balcony too on this i want to make a little taller yeah you might do that i mean there’s nothing there i don’t build like full-on medieval style like you do

Too often so you’re going to have to teach me a little bit you know i’ll probably just wing it all the time and just until i put blocks down until it looks good uh-huh i see that’s kind of what i do let’s see what happens it was fine okay planting a roof

Bring that out this way going through the fun diagonals this time oh i love the phone the handle so good all right so we got this thing now what can we put hmm lots of films and homes okay because we got this side high up we got your side are we gonna

Put anything i’m gonna add like a yeah i mean like when we do the archway we can like kind of fill this in a little bit a little bit and this can be like a bridge across to the building kind of what i did in my

My other build i think it could work out nicely you can give it like a little rim just here and then this can have like a cool little a small little roof coming over oh yeah we could do like um exactly exactly oh i like that that could oh

I think i gotta use another material because it’s gonna connect to this i’m going to incorporate some of your roof style over on this side i’m going to add like this little kind of tower over here that kind of like some resembles yours so then we can combine

Both of the build types together oh that’s true that’ll look nice and then it flows through the build a bit more we’ll get into interior for this oh no how dare you pose such a question blasphemy oh god no absolute blasphemy don’t you dare say this again i think

I love using all these this world is gonna you know what we should just make a bouncy castle that’s it about the castle oh yes we don’t just just the walls we’ve already got the colors down pat so exactly we’re close the end is coming yeah i think we can probably like we

Have some shapes going did should we start doing actual blocks because i know you you uh you like doing blocks instead of we need to block we can pick uh colors and all that right now yeah get some things going i thinks look at him go guys he’s making a

Pointed roof he’s got that side wall oh he’s made some mistakes he’s breaking things what’s he doing oh no he’s doing the same thing all over again what’s going on he doesn’t know i got it he’s doing things he’s making a shape i made a

Hold on point the roof what did i do i broke something you don’t break it uh you know i’m gonna sit here i’m gonna be sipping iced coffee and it’s gonna be beautiful oh god bro i made a mistake i make so many mistakes oh that’s perfect all those magic

Beautiful that’s a lovely palette and then we of course we need we need these guys grass yeah of course dirt voiceover we probably don’t really need that but they’ll put that there anyway give it some love if we want to we could go to the podzol method instead of

Grass and make it all look like in the middle of a forest ruined right it’s gonna be pretty ruined so look at a lot of pods on there yeah are we gonna we’re gonna put it in like a forest with spruce trees like really tall spruce trees

Yeah we can do that oh that’ll be so good yes all right overgrown brokenness is everywhere so good so should we should we start with stone and just start uh laying out all the base foundations and then we can kind of mix things in i think we can do that right now i’m

Going to start with this little orange boy here all right i’m going to be over here doing this thing i’m going with a oh my testing fruit look at this look at this these smokers to like outline things look at that oh oh that is really nice

You know what i need i need to use those more often those are really nice i like them as um as the little like the floor baseboard too it looks good for that too like an inside of a house yeah for a medieval thing but i like it as

The as the trim that’s really cool yeah i think it could be like kind of works as like uh the foundation yes i’m gonna keep that you keep that don’t you take that away i will keep it it’s my nail bro look i need a roof

You did a roof i did a roof i did a little this is the perfect way to start coming today i don’t know if you did a brief good job my roof is kind of like i tried doing black stone and trying to add a lip to

It but i don’t even know what i’m doing i like it though the black stone with the dark oh man that looks so good that’s so cool yeah i i’m really fond of the the smokers to be honest i’m really liking this this little

Bit that i did here i just love that it has a little woody texture on the side that’s so nice it just works really nicely i think the smoker is also one of my like favorite blocks it just looks aesthetically nice and even the animation is so cute

It gets like little puffs of smoke coming up and then you see the fire at the front i love it there’s a little bit of cobblestone on the inside a little oak it’s like a combination of all the best blocks it’s just lovely it’s lovely but look at look what sausage has been

Up to you guys like it’s been super busy we’ve been just sitting here chatting and looking what she’s done look it’s already finished already i’m not done there’s so so much you’re already finishing no no no no no yeah yeah yeah i think i was actually going to do

This i’ve been doing this lately instead of like the arches i always do arches i i like doing sometimes like the last last yeah i’ve done it before too that just it works really nice it’s subtle nothing too fancy and then if you want you can put like little barrels you know

I’ve been doing that so much lately i love putting barrels on this thing you know another thing i’ve been doing too putting the trapdoor on the bottom yes it’s beautiful i’ve done that too yeah if it’s gonna work you could get even more decorative with this and you can put signs

On the barrels yes with that without opening them chips clicked look at that yeah that’s so good it just adds a little bit more shape to it you know what i like that the sign is perfectly in the center of the little black lines right there exactly so you got like a little

Little peekaboo going on you know look at that this is amazing you know what this is turning out so nice you know what i love too i love that i can always look at this it’s so nice it’s a very rough day and i’ll still still gotta refine it a little bit you

Know nice it is pretty look at that it’s like a little texturing oh you’re doing the texture i love it it’s so nice i don’t know what to put in this thing what’s this gonna be there’s gonna be like a like we could put like hay and stuff or something you know

Action yeah getting those hay bales in there watch them we can’t really put horses if it’s abandoned but you can add some like cobwebs or something here how about let’s put a skeleton horse in there oh yeah oh my god that that it’s so morbid that poor horse who is just left behind

Oh no there’s a magical spell going on that he’s still alive somehow in some other form so it’s cool it’s fine all right hold on i got a question for you all mystical sensei that’s me what do you do like when you when you’re not using stone for your medieval walls what

What what do you want um i actually like um brick and granite as as yes absolutely that is perfect i’m not sure like after doing the the terra cotta and stuff i’m not sure about the black stone roof it was like too too harsh yeah it really was maybe feeling i think i

Think with the stone it would look good but now i think it is it looks a little bit out of place you know look at that kind of roof that i just did right there it’s got like some stairs going on the edge it’s got like a little lip actually i love that

Yeah and you get some like jungle trap doors to give it a bit of shape on the roof itself i love the traffic you know what i i did before i’ve done before putting a composter behind the jungle trap door a compost okay see it’s a pea little peaks through

We’ll pick it up i did a little a little thing because it looks like it’s a thing watch look at it look at it oh i’m gonna get composted okay look at look at it look at that look at the the contrast it gives look at the look at the contrast

There then close it and then close it beautiful beautiful that little little subtle kind of detail you need you know little thing behind the the hole i can do that i like that i like little tiny details for us my favorite thing to add in builds little tiny little details yeah it’s uh

You don’t want to do interiors Interior little will take longer than the build it itself my feelings i’m going to grab these and i’m going to go put them on my bill i think what i could do though is i can get my old famous lecterns you know and uh you can do any balcony too

Yeah yeah yeah exactly exactly oh i see it i knew it i see it we’re in the same wavelength right now bro i felt it i felt it covered there we go it’s all we need did you know if you put a barrel upside down it has a really nice floor texture

You know who taught me that who you god [Laughter] you’ve been using it in every floor of every build and now i love it it’s so nice it’s so amazing it’s so under underused it is more awkward i think a lot of people forget that it

Exists to be honest i kind of forgot that it existed until recently and i’ve started using it again and i’m just like this is amazing it’s like just a slight variegate a variation of spruce planks and i think it looks great i’m gonna do on top of this white thing i’m going to

Use stone again to do the little thingy things yeah i think some look good there yeah i think i don’t want it all the way give me a very stone and woody build i think that’d be perfectly fine i’m doing like this weird campfire roof over i think a flat roof

Was looking nicer than a like an angled one for this bit so i changed it oh i’m gonna carry these pillows upwards i think i’m gonna bring them up to the roof oh yes oh you nailed it that’s beautiful yeah that’s better and then we can add little archway

Archway things just realize why am i using bone blocks for the walls instead of white concrete oh bone blocks it’s nice blah i like that black where is it i’m i’m blinds i know you’re in here somewhere there you are i found you sweet sweet one

I’m using more anvils i love how they sound anvils that’s legal oh you know what i’m going to gradient the bone blocks with some smooth chords that’s oh i love this look at the tower park came out nice hmm look at my tower point there let’s be honest

Hold on i’m gonna add some buns to it you need a bell in the middle look at that yeah it’s so unique i just winged it i winged it kept placing blocks down yeah one now here comes the bell watch let’s make it a bell guys all right there’s so many things it’s

Got to be functional you got to dig it should i i’m going to put an actual minecraft bit i mean you could put a little minecraft bell inside the bell so then you can actually ring it i’m going to put a bell beautiful here comes that it’s just a little tiny bell look

At that thing i love the chain that is actually really neat it’s so tiny that’s cool that’s the best part i love it i’m gonna keep that oh boy you could like emphasize it with like a gold block or something yeah it’s just too small it’s the tiniest thing

That stupid thing oh there look Yeah it’s exactly what i meant beautiful yeah look at that that’s a double bell very nice oh my god you want to just look at this angle right here it’s so nice it is look at that it’s beautiful i still need to fix that towel but it’s getting there

Get in there look like a little banner oh lovely look at that little pretty nice little chain too nice a little channel watch out i mean those kind of cute little details it’s so nice it’s like a thick chain hey we all want to use the tiny one no thick stick is good

Standard you could use the tiny ones next to it as well what do you want to think of what’s going on i don’t try to come up with the middle part just to change it get a little more contrasty just start cooking And then at the bottom you can kind of like gradient it to a tip even like uh maybe you could have an anvil and then a wall and then like a chain tip or something yes hold on oh yeah that’s pretty a nice little point on it

Hold on what is it to be honest i think it might look better without the chains uh red sandstone what if another i think it looks better without the chains i kind of want to put in another building even and go higher Layers yes add all the layers much layer many wow yes please yeah because i want to get high to kind of match up with tara a little bit oh you got to put something up there yeah oh i love those diagonals the nice ones yeah those are the hearts

I like that okay i think it needs to be different i think maybe it needs to even be Oh i’m gonna do the the granite mix oh yeah yeah do it i forgot half this build is broken in half i was like wait a minute we can add in the walls to like kind of really feel like we’re encompassing the build and then we get more of an idea

Yeah yeah that’s right then we’re going to chop them up anyway well like if we like it’s the the little edge walls like them so that we know where the build ends and like where the scene ends and stuff so i can add in these okay

Oh yeah yeah those are cool um but they’ll be out they’ll be on the on the gold section yeah that’s okay because that’s um it’s the inside of the build that’s restrictive part oh i like that that’s so cool there we go i think it looks so much better now it’s all like

Blocked in all they look so much yeah and i i gotta do the the little detail for it first and then it’ll look even better do a sky gradient a sky gradient the background is the sky a little mountain range if you if you would add those details

Fine at least not grey though i just realized that like that’s like on the wall wait wait wait what your hanging face is like on the wall oh my god that’s perfect that is actually perfect that’s so cool oh my god oh that’s awesome we can even make a little clotheslines

In certain spots going from one side to the other look at that trim it’s beautiful got it Okay we really need to look they’re probably like the grass and all the trees in there and it’s gonna come together beautifully like even down here right we’re gonna like make it go down a bit so it’s not like all the same level yeah we can even break

This and make it go down right yeah exactly yeah oh look at this thing i want to live in this it’s gonna be so cozy except it’s gonna be like it’s gonna be rude it’s gonna be destroyed it’s fine i mean it could just be like freshly abandoned

Yeah like just because light corrects yeah that’s a little bit nicer look at that oh it looks so good we’re getting there let’s get cake uh i’m gonna do the gradient up here do it uh what was it gonna add i was gonna add something where was it i might have to replace

This stone to like a different block uh so that i don’t accidentally replace any of the actual build oh my god yeah yeah take that stone out of there it’s very blue um look at that it looks so good you can see the root the build like really pop

Itself out now with that yeah oh yeah it looks awesome look at that thing it looks great i definitely think like uh this roof still needs to change i think to a different palette so prismarine i think there’s too much going on with that maybe just a wood roof for this this one

Maybe keep that maybe keep the prismarine on one like yeah yeah the prismarine’s gonna stay on that one um but this one up here just needs to change because it looks a little bit maybe like another yeah just the wood’s wood yeah because it’s going to match with like

The roof down the bottom look you want to see something cool why is this one two three beep Oh you know what i want to add like uh just the facade of like a townhouse back here you could just see from a little edge just go for um let me see how i could do it i wanted to get some bone blocks hold on i got an idea

A bone block a little bit of this one once we put the trees in this is going to be awesome oh the trees i can’t wait trees are going to be lovely let’s hope no one uh decides to check the insides because that is not going to be good for the interior

Nobody’s looking inside here we find anybody looking in here i am going to scream at them it is an absolute mess inside these places we really do i like how it the build is centered around the world but we haven’t built the world yet that’s right that’s fine you know what

It saved me the best for last it’s fine oh boy because the gray is is gonna be like making everything else it’s gonna like lose buildings might lose some contrast yeah what if i use a uh a um maybe like a terra cotta color like something i think we’re gonna still lose terracotta

Because because we’ve built used hair color i think if i um no like maybe like i’m gonna try green how about light blue concrete oh it looks it looks like the back like the sky sky background or something i feel like the buildings kind of like they get lost a little bit though

Oh yeah see the black makes them kind of stand out it could be nighttime so it could be a starry sky yeah that’s it okay nailed it what i am gonna do though is i’m gonna add like a small couple block trim to the top so it’s not just fully black

Just a really subtle little trim Yeah i see the trend that’s nice yes yes yeah something’s settled nailed it then they the buildings kind of pop their pups i like it like that do we i’m gonna i’m gonna get i’m gonna get some path blocks in here do it i wanna see what’s going on with the

Ground you know yes please you must yeah look at that scene coming together beautiful we’re doing it my fake what if we used to put some grass in there you know let’s see what the green green looks like no if we can just give it a puzzle oh okay

Well we’ll see we’ll see i can always uh do a quick change yeah between them it’s looking so good already look at that looks more alive now oh look at that look at that oh it’s gonna even bend we have trees in there ah imagine a little tree though we can even

Do a falling tree you know it’s time i got i got it i gotta do leaves i have to have to do some leaves i gotta do it i wanna see it i’m gonna put some over here too gotta have some and the mossy greenery

Too i like it i like such a mossy cobble that is very nice it’s a little such a green it’s a little green little hint breaks up the stone i like it you know what i love to do too i like breaking through the roof and then putting the bush through it

And then going off the other side like right here hanging little hanging bits that’s very nice look at this look at this little scene here let me see oh look at that oh the bush is absolutely lovely i’m uh i’m gonna add some uh shade into the roof here with some

Warped planks oh i like the water blank you know what a little bit of dead bush too i think we need to uh get this this well happening right here so we got a little circle to go off oh i missed some stuff all right that’s that’s where the whale’s gonna be magic

All right now what uh what are we going to do i think i think we should kind of uh well assault oh Except the lines are a little bit too strong uh i think we need regular result yeah here’s the less less harsh oh look at that that’s better i like that oh look at that yeah there we go that’s cool it’s a dark and mysterious well let’s stand

Clearly out from the the rest of the places around gonna need some trees oh that’s the best parts Oh i also need some stuff in the window too i’m gonna need some stream lights i just need to ruin this more and it’s looking pretty good as it is it’s not too bad i don’t i really don’t want to ruin it though it looks pretty i think i think i think

It’s fine i have to ruin it yeah it looks so good i don’t want to ruin too much you know what they’re gonna do the slightest of ruinings like up here in this roof i could do some slabs i’m gonna make some really quick trees do a tennis tana tree well you’re like

You’re really good at like spruce trees don’t you i could do a sprucer do you want to do this first tree let me see with dark cocoa let me see what i can oh did i use darker oh i did it it actually looks better yeah it’s a

Softer like texture and it’s kind of nice i’ll make like a little tiny tree my really easy ones with the bulb oh those are easy oh you can do something like that we’re gonna go on ham in detail in the corner nobody’s gonna see this but i can’t help it
