Those you guys probably already know potions in minecraft are pretty amazing things i mean they allow you to see in the dark survive lava and run faster than forest ever could but here’s the thing brewing up potions is a massive pain in the backside i mean you have to Place in all of the items in the correct order obviously you’ve got all of the water bottles that you need to use it’s just it’s a little bit of a challenge so that is why i’ve decided to design this thing right here now this is the ultimate Potion brewing station as you can see it uses a whole ton of redstone resources this is a really big redstone contraption we’ve got pistons comparators redstone torches repeaters hoppers droppers pretty much every single redstone component in the game this is one of those things you’re definitely going to be building towards The end of your world you’re not going to be building this on the first night this is something you build when you’ve got a lot of stuff but you are going to want to build it because it’s amazing so i think i should probably explain exactly what’s going on here because We’ve got plenty of redstone lamps up at the top here and almost all of them seem to be switched on so this redstone lamp is indicating that we’ve got plenty of water bottles this one is telling us we’ve got loads of blaze powder this one tells us that we’ve got loads of Netherward and all of these tell us that we have got lots of each one of these individual ingredients so what do these redstone lamps tell us yeah they don’t tell us how much we’ve actually got of these things these are actually indicator lamps so when we flick this lever right here that means That we’ve got the redstone modifier selected when we flick it downwards that means that we have got the glowstone modifier selected so this one extends the effect of the potion and this one increases the intensity and then we can also flick this even right here to turn Off or on the splash potion so i think my set of potions i wanted to be a splash potion i wanted to have the glowstone effect and i think i am going to go for maybe strength two strength two seems like a good one so i’m going to hit this button Right here and we should see that our brewing standard will fill up with the water bottles we now have nether water dropping into the top and if we pop around the back and take a look in this hopper we have got blaze powder glowstone and then we have got the Gunpowder as well let’s let this rock on through so the gunpowder is just dropping its way into the system so far we’ve got strength too but of course we want to have strength two splash potions and then once this thing makes its way right the way down to the bottom we should see That they will be converted into splash potions and then they will be taken out of the brewing stand and placed into the chest down the bottom and i can promise you the rain rain isn’t part of this system it just happened that it started raining as this thing finished brewing So i don’t have does all of this function because right now it’s all looking very magical when you hit the button one of these droppers right here will be powered at sending its items up into the hoppers now that’s the ingredients for your potion but here’s The thing lots of things have to happen before the ingredients of the potion actually reach your brewing stand so first thing that happens is this redstone line right here is powered which sends our signal up through into this dropper which sends its items into this hopper so that will send the Netherwart into the brewing station then what will happen is that this redstone line right here will be unpowered allowing three water bottles to drop through into our brewing stand but also this hopper down at the bottom will be locked to stop those water bottles dropping straight out the bottom of the Brewing stand and making their way into the chest so the water bottles should stay inside the brewing station then the netherwards will make its way into this hopper and then the ingredients of the potion will also be sitting in this hopper right here which will power this comparator which will Also power all of this redstone circuitry which once again will lock this bottom hopper to stop any of the potions falling out the bottom until they have finished brewing out then if we head over to this side the modifiers will be added into the system powered by this redstone line they will Go up like this and depending on which ones you’ve selected some of these droppers will fire send the items up into the hopper line like this and because of the orders that we have the droppers the items should make their way into this hopper in the correct order Allowing them to brew properly once the final item from our system drops through down this hopper and down into the brewing stand that means that most of the room will be done and there’s only one set of brewing left to do which means that this comparator will turn off Which will deactivate this pulse extender which will take a while to cool down and when it eventually does the bottom hopper will be unlocked allowing all of the potions that are fully brewed up to fall down into this chest now i know i know that that was an extremely extremely complicated explanation that You guys are probably struggling with right now so there is a world download down in the description if you do want to check this thing out in a little bit more detail but now let’s crack on with that tutorial so you want to get things started with a 6 by 15 area and the first thing we’re going to do is we’re going to pop over to this corner over here take out those two blocks and place two blocks going across like this then you want to place a lever on both of those blocks like That you want to go a couple blocks across like this and go one two three four five six seven with buttons on the faces of each one of those then what i’d suggest doing is placing a bunch of blocks just making their way around like this and popping along the bottom to create The decorative circles that are going to be going around all of your buttons and the levers and the reason we’re doing this is because also some of the redstone actually gets hidden behind these blocks right here so we have a redstone line going across the bottom And if you didn’t have this sort of circle formation going on then you’d have plenty of exposed redstone wiring which isn’t particularly pretty but anyway from this point you just want to go a couple blocks across like this we want to do three blocks in total then Down at the bottom here we’re going to have ourselves a chest with an upside down half slab and a block right there and that is your full wall all completed so now we can start placing in all of the redstone lamps you want two redstone Lamps on the top just like that and then your seven redstone lamps going across the top there and then three redstone lamps in those positions and you also want another redstone lamp down at the bottom which is going to be the indicator for your redstone or your glowstep so let’s start mapping Everything out we want to go around the back of our chest and place in a hopper then we’re going to have a brewing stand on the top which is obviously where all of the potions are going to brewed and then we want to place a couple hoppers Going across the top right here and then we want a line of hoppers just making their way right the way across up to the end of your redstone lamp so for the time being then right here we’re going to place a bunch of droppers facing upwards going across the top of all of Those blocks then you want another dropper facing upwards on top of this block right here which is going to be the one with the netherwater on the inside and then down underneath all of these blocks you just want to place a line of blocks with a liner of redstone on top which is Going to be powering most of the redstone circuitry time to head over to the other side of the redstone circuit we’re going to do the modifier section so you want to place two redstone torches on top of both of those blocks right there which will have both your Levers on them unless you accidentally broke that block right there but then you want to place in two blocks on top of both of those and then your two sticky pistons facing across just like this with blocks on both of their faces and then droppers in this formation right here Now to do all of the hoppers running out from these droppers and into this line you have to follow this exact formation so you just want to place a helper going across like this and then you want a hopper going across like that a hopper right here a hopper here and then Hoppers on top of all of the droppers just in like that and then over here we’re going to start work on the indicator lines you just want to place a bunch of blocks going across like this with comparators running out from each one of these droppers and these are Going to be telling us if we actually have all of the items inside the droppers and obviously if you don’t have items on the inside you’re going to know from the redstone lamp turning off so you can go back behind the redstone system and refill them then you want to Place some blocks going up like this and we’re going to have to change things up on this one and then we want redstone torches on there and then a line of blocks are going across the top once again with redstone torches and then a bunch of repeaters running Into these blocks over here the next section is going to be hooking up this dropper right here which is going to be our netherwar dropper so we’re going to go over to the third block the third block across and we’re going to place some redstone dust it’s going to be Running into this block right here with a redstone torch on the side and we’re going to have a repeater running into a block with a block out like this redstone dust a block up like that redstone torch and then a block underneath that dropper now to do the Indicator line for that dropper it’s actually very similar to all of these other ones if you just want to place a comparator with a block up like this a redstone torch and then a block and then a redstone torch with a repeater right there to do the indicator line for this Final dropper over here which we actually left behind you just want to place a redstone torch right there then a block and then a redstone torch once again and we’re going to need a handful of repeaters for this one so you just want to place a bunch of them going Across like that but that’s going to be running into that redstone lamp heading back over to the brewing stand now we are going to do the blaze powder input and also the water bottle input so you just want to place a hopper running into the side of that one and then run Hoppers just up like that with a trap chest right across there and a comparator running straight into that block which will run into that redstone lamp and then on this side we just want to place a bunch of hoppers going into the side of that one and then traveling Upwards like this with a hopper out the back there and then a chest running across like this with once again a comparator running into that block right there which will be the indicator light for our water bottles so this one right here is for the water bottles this one Right here is for the blaze powder and this one over here is for the nether walls then we’ve got all of the ingredients and then we have the indicator lamps for our difference modifiers as well we’re making good progress now i’d say we’re about two thirds of the way done the next thing That we’re going to do is we’re going to do the water bottle dispensing circuits the way that we’re going to do that is placing a block next to this redstone dust with redstone torches making their way up like this then we’re going to have a block next to that hopper and Then two blocks going across like this with redstone dust next to that redstone torch and a repeater set to 4x running into that block right there then running out of this hopper we’re going to take a comparator output which is going to be a little bit difficult to Place but just place that in there and that’s going to go into a block up at the top like this with redstone dust right there a repeater set to four ticks running into a block and then another repeater set to 4x running into another block with redstone dust up at the top And a sticky piston facing downwards with a redstone block on its face that will eventually power our pulse extender but one very important thing that you have to do is take this repeater here and set it to four ticks so the repeater next to this redstone torch it has to be On four ticks so that circuit up at the top there is to keep this bottom hopper actually locked so now we have to add in all of the circuitry which will physically lock that hopper and the way that we do that is by placing a repeater A block a repeater and then a block and then two repeaters up at the end right here and then we want a line of blocks too wide going right the way across like this all the way to the end of our green blocks and also a block up at the end Right there then we’re going to have redstone dust right here a redstone torch on top of this block right here and then we want to create our pulse extender so we want to place comparators facing in this direction all the way to the end running into this block and then Redstone dust and then comparators going right the way back across to this end as well now what we have to do is the modifier circuit and that will be everything done and dusted so let’s make our way right the way down to the bottom here and place two blocks like that redstone dust And then a repeater which is going to be running into this block with a redstone torch and then a block here and then another redstone torch right there then you want a redstone torch there a couple blocks making their way across like this redstone dust and then a Repeater on both sides running up into blocks and then redstone torches on both of those and believe it or not ladies and gentlemen that is all of the redstone completed now i know that this over here looked like a really complicated redstone circuit in the beginning we have to admit It wasn’t actually that difficult was it now we have to do is fill in all of the droppers with all of the items and i’ll make sure that you do that correctly so on the furthest right you need your water bottles all of those water bottles should be inside that chest and they Should be making their way down through all the hoppers and ready to go into the side of your brewing stand next up we should have all of the blaze powder which once again will be making its way through the hoppers and into the side of the brewing stand and then we need our First dropper which is going to be all of the netherwards that one should be fully filled in as well now each one of these droppers are for your different ingredients they can go in whatever order you want to so you’re going to have golden carrots so that one Is for night vision then we’re going to have magma cream for fire resistance and then maybe a bit of swiftness and that’s just going to be making its way across like this we’re going to have strength and all the different ones over there and then if we pop over to this side now We have all of the modifiers so in this one i’m going to have glowstone dust and in this one over here i’m going to have my redstone and then in the furthest dropper i’m going to have my gunpowder i just spent ages scratching my head trying to work out why this Thing didn’t work turns out i use stone buttons as opposed to wooden buttons these things they have to be wooden okay they have to be wooden buttons otherwise it won’t work but anyway to avoid any confusion i would highly suggest adding in some item frames also let’s face it The item frames look really really cool but for now we’ve got a completely blank potion brewer and we’re going to do our first test of the system so let’s just quickly make sure that we don’t have any test items on the inside here and then we’re going to hit button number three Which is for swiftness we have got glowstone selected and it’s also going to be a splash potion and as we can see we have got three bottles on the inside of our brewing stand we have our netherwart and then we have got sugar glowstone and gunpowder as well so this Thing is working absolutely perfectly at the end of the brewing it should drop the items out into this chest and we should have ourselves a fully functional ultimate potion brewing station so there we have it ladies and gentlemen that is all i’ve got time today i hope you Enjoyed this video if you did be sure to that like button and if you really loved it then make sure to subscribe but thanks for watching guys this has been mumbo and i’m out i’ll see you later You Video Information
