Minecraft: MOUNTAIN HOUSE TUTORIAL [How to Build]

Well hello everybody and welcome back to another minecraft video this is mythical sausage how is everybody doing oh man we’re back again doing another minecraft video and today we’re doing an awesome mountain house tutorial now this is totally inspired by my friend Gold Robin who made an awesome mountain house about

A couple months back and it was awesome he did it on Instagram he actually just recently released it on YouTube so go ahead and check out go rob his recent video I’m gonna put a link in the description totally inspired by that original idea now today I’m gonna go

Ahead off of that and make something of my own and I think I got a really good idea of how to set this up so really quick let’s flip let’s turn around and let’s get this started now check out this area I picked out this perfect spot

I’m gonna put the seed and the coordinates to this area these guys want to build it with me and it’s a really cool spot I already have everything kind of terraform ready to go and I got inspiration I’m ready to get this started now as far as the block palette

We’ll be using oak log the whole spruce family a little bit of barrel action it’s of glass and I’ll also show you how to do the interior but this is all you need this is the space so just find any mountain if you don’t want to do it in

This specific location this is the only thing you need to carve out out of this mount on the side and we’ll do that we’ll do the county in a second but just you can see the space from this part is a 1 2 3 4 5 you go down one and then you

Go down 1 2 3 down 1 another 5 1 up another 3 so it’s pretty simple a little overly shape and it’s pretty awesome and then we’re gonna have an interest on the bottom to get in to this mountain house now really quick let’s start here on the

Corner and it depends on how much elevation you have in your mountainside but let’s just go and you’ll see how to set this up so right here we’re gonna double these up so this is gonna go right from the seat from bottom level is

Rated as a 1 2 3 4 5 on the fifth level this is where the the the hole starts include but we’re gonna start counting from the corner bit let’s start right here are just gonna take this up 1 2 three four five and then right here on

This six one I’m gonna put a barrel and if you notice where the barrel is placed in the center line of this circle if it’s over right here so this where are you gonna put your your barrel they can go as lower as high as you want to set

This up so right there let’s take a space up one and right here this is just gonna go up one more and then we’re gonna put a stare of spruce right up against that so that’ll be the stairs spruce is gonna go pretty much right at the bottom level of where this circle

Starts off right here at this level now we’re gonna give it a space of one and two then we’re gonna take up or log in this case we’ll be taking it up from the bottom and it’s gonna go up one two three just like that on the third one

We’re gonna stop right here now we’re gonna give it a space of three down here we’re gonna have our entryway right there and then we’re gonna go up again another one well technically already one so two three and four level to this line right before the so the circle starts

And then we’re gonna give you the space of one and two and this is gonna match what we did over there so let’s take this up all the way up until we get to that center line right here and we’re gonna drop our barrel right on the tippy

Top just like that then we’re gonna go ahead and lift this one up to match what we have going over there so just one more and then we’re gonna put our stair facing forward right there so matching that side and then we’re gonna do it to

This one as well so we’re gonna take this up this is already one so two three four I’m gonna put our stair right there and again this one one two three and four I’m gonna put our stair right there now on the back part here we’re gonna go

Ahead and just put a plank and a plank right there of our spruce all right now let’s grab our strips spruce and I’m gonna put this right at this line so one two and three I’m gonna drop two on this side and two over here on this end then

Under here I’m gonna go with some up set on stairs one on each side trap two on the top and then trap doors on the side here and then I’m just going to replace this line and these three here and it’s gonna put our strips going out

And another strip line going up here and then it upside down stare right there alright now let’s start working on the curve so I’m gonna start right in front of these stairs go ahead and put a full block one on each side like so our stripped one this direction another

One this direction and our barrel turned sideways I’m gonna grab some trapdoors and wrap these around like so let’s put a slab one on each side here and then I’m gonna put a slab underneath another slab underneath right next to this block a stripped facing downwards like this

One on this side and a trapdoor on top one on each direction there then right here I’m gonna go with a full block or a double slap I’m gonna go with double serve here CC a full block either one then I’m gonna grab a stair and gonna

Put one this way and another one this way just like so and we got the bottom end of this curve which is looking really cool now next up let’s go right here on top of this barrel let’s put a stair facing this direction let’s put an upside-down stair right here facing this

Direction I’m gonna go with a full block on top I’m gonna go with a trapdoor right underneath or right next to that stair then over here pretty much gonna match what we did on this side let’s grab a strip let’s put one on top and then on top of

That we’re gonna put a slab just like so now next to this strip I’m gonna put a slab then a full block on top of this I’m gonna grab our stripped again put it sideways let’s get our barrel put it sideways is get our strip put it back

Then I’m gonna go ahead and put our full block on top of that slab next to this one put our slab on top strip facing downwards then we’re gonna grab our trapdoor put that underneath here we’re gonna grab our stair put it back this direction upside down stair here and on

Top of this one we’re going with a plank just like so then we’re almost done curving it out we’re gonna grab our trapdoors and just around this bit going all the way around now next little bit of detail we’re gonna do is I’m gonna put some trapdoors on this side I’m

Gonna put a trapdoor on this side no a little bit and then we’re gonna put a trapdoor on the other end of the barrel I’m gonna put another trapdoor on the other end of this barrel then I want to hang some lights from here so I’m gonna put a fence right here underneath

That barrel right on that log I’m gonna put another one on this side then I’m gonna grab some lanterns and we’re just gonna hang this right here one on this side and then one on this side and there we go our circle is complete that is looking really cool what do you guys

Think that’s awesome now little things you can do down here is texture a little bit on this bottom part where the stones are but I’ll show you that in a second now next thing we’re gonna do is pretty much cut in the wall this perfect area

Right here so I’m gonna count this count right now how many pieces of glass we’re gonna put in here so you’re gonna go right in front of this one I’m gonna go in one two three four five I’m gonna go up one then up one again from this side

I’m gonna put up one and up one again so starting from this is already a one so two and three we’re gonna put one on top and again up here one two three four five I’m gonna put one in the corner one and two on this corner so it’s pretty

Much there shaping it all out and then fill in the middle section so a total here we’re gonna go with another one two three four five one two three four five six seven another seven right here another seven right here and then one another one two three four and five so

That is your glass completed on this end all right I dug out a little bit of a hole here so we can set up the interior now after you carved that glass and you have it all set up so I just open it up for now but after the glass after you

Carved this out you need this little L shape on both sides just so you can cover that little bit up and you won’t be able to see anything from this end so leave that little L shape right underneath for now and then also let’s count so from here we have a space of

One two three four five six seven eight nine so nine from from this end to that end now from this end to this end is one two three four five six seven eight nine so super simple is a nine by nine box after you carve your little glass area

House so from here to that end is a nine by nine now from top to bottom this is a two three four five six so we got a six high right here then this is going to go up by two and then we’re going to go up

One more and give a space of one two three four five right up here from the glass after the glass that’s a five and then from here to the end is a one two three four five six seven eight nine just like that so we’re giving that

Little space and we’re gonna curve it out I was gonna look really really cool now this little spot right here and this little spot over here this section is gonna be for a sleeping area and then this section is gonna be for a small storage unit so counting from the glass

So from here one two three and you’re gonna go in by two over here we have a space of one two three and four to cover that in so that is the space you have when we drop in this little hole here and we’re going in by two and then up by

One two three four five so up by five in by two and we have it mirrored on this side over here right in the center of it we’re gonna have our space to get down and this is all we’re gonna put us a little scaffold or you can put a ladder

Right there now for this let’s work this out I’m gonna come in here with our just a little bit of detail right here on this side first so we’re gonna cap this off over here and on this end to give you that little bit of extra detail so

Let’s grab a spruce plank I’m gonna go with a plank here and a plank right here we’re covering up this this old stone section we’re also gonna go with one more plank on top so let’s go ahead and do over here mirror that spot right there looking perfect

Then next bit we’re gonna grab some stairs I’m gonna put a stair right on top and a stair on top of this one same thing here so stare on top stare on top of this one then over here on the bottom we’re gonna go with another full block and another full

Block just like so then right over here I’m gonna go with an upside-down stair we’re gonna go with a plank and another upside down stair and a trapdoor in that gap then let’s do it over here so trapdoor upside down stair full block upside down stair just like so then I’m

Gonna go with another full block on top full block on top a slab another slab and trap door right in the center so we getting that nice curve right there all right now that we have this done let’s go ahead and start putting our logs down so I’m gonna put a log right

Here give it a space of one next to that plank and up here we’re gonna go up one two three four five and six take it to the top space of two one two three four five and six and another space of two one two three four five and six take it

All the way to the top and then we’re cross be me all the way up here let’s go ahead and repeat it on this side so right here after this we’re gonna go 1 all the way up to the top here at the space of two up to the top space of two

All the way up to the tippy top and then cross beam right at the top level right here so once we have this all set up stop working on some details I’m gonna go ahead and mirror this same arch but I’m gonna do it over here on this side

We’re gonna take it right here on this corner so let’s call it 1 & 2 & 1 up with our plank I’m gonna do it over here on this side so 1 & 2 1 up with our plank stairs going 1 here 1 on top the

One here and the one on top I’m gonna put a full block right next to that one and another full block right here we’re gonna give an upside-down stair right on this level you’re gonna put a trapdoor in between put another stair here and then we’re

Gonna go ahead and put 8-foot block and a slab and a trapdoor now let’s repeat it over here so we’re going with an upside down stair trapdoor upside down stair full block and then slab so this is pretty much exactly what we did on this side just over here at this corner

Alright now the next thing we’re gonna do is let’s fill in this wall right here now this is gonna be a mix so I’m gonna go up right here witches are stripped let’s go all the way top to bottom let’s go top at the bottom over here

Take it all the way up I’m gonna come back on this side and take this all the way again top to bottom and do another one right here as well and then on this side this is what I’m gonna do let’s give it these some trapdoors let’s go up

1 2 & 3 1 2 & 3 is put an upset on stare here one on this side trapdoor in the center and then right here I’m gonna go and give it just a little bit of a furnace wall so we’re gonna go all the

Way up right here and put a bunch of furnaces you can even combine some of these with smokers and blaster that should be fine and then for extra texture and it’s gonna come in here just give it a couple planks just scattered around it looks pretty cool and then

Right here in the back we’re gonna get rid of this section you’re gonna cover all this up with a mix of planks and also some strip put it upside down stair here and let’s go ahead and so let’s go maybe a couple of those are gonna be

This trip there we go that looks awesome then next I’m gonna grab a fence post I’m gonna put a fence right here on the top one here on the top on this side hang some lights one on each end all right next up you know what let’s do one

Quick modification let’s get rid of these full blocks I want to put a composter one on each side with some bushes going up one and two one and two over here and let’s do it over here as well so let’s grab a composter one on each side and a couple of bushes right

Here that looks awesome then let’s go ahead and grab this log again I’m gonna run a strip going down right in the center when I decide well between composter to compost it’s put any strip going down like this of our log it’s gonna break up the room a little bit

Which is really really cool to take this one all the way down as well some of the shrimp and take this down top to bottom like so now over here let’s grab some oak I’m gonna replace this flooring right here with our oak just like so I’m

Gonna do the same thing over here as well so there’s replace all of this with oak we can even replace the size without but I want to keep that stone in that background it’s no big deal but right here I’m gonna put our bed I’m gonna put two beds down right here I’m

Gonna put the two sides let’s put a sign or one right here one on this side to give it a little bit of a frame to that also gonna grab some stairs this grab us they are gonna drop this there right about here one on each side and then

What I’m gonna do is let’s actually give a little bit of detail here what if we put a little upside-down stair right over here on these two let’s grab a trap the door I’m gonna put these two out right here so it has like almost like a

Little bit of a shelving unit then essentially get rid of these two I’m gonna go ahead and put trapdoors on the top just like that I’m gonna grab some barrels I’m gonna put two here and then this grab a couple chests and I’m gonna drop the chest on top right here and

Then you can open them because you have that trapdoor there perfect just like that and we have ourselves a little bed over here also we could drop a painting in the center just to give a little bit more detail and that looks pretty good right there

That’s also I don’t want to creeper when I’m sleeping that not like them yeah yeah that’s a better one perfect then on the sides here I want to give just a little bit more detail so let’s get rid of this level I’m gonna get rid of this

Level right here actually not all the way just just like that now right back here we can give a little a mixture of different items how about we put like a loom sideways for some empty bookshelves some actual bookshelves maybe a barrel we can even throw a crafting bench over

Here just to add even more so something like that a little bit of a mixture maybe we could do the same thing on this side drop a loom may be right about there that looks pretty cool let’s do another barrel let’s do a couple shelves something like that looks really really

Awesome for added detail gonna go ahead and drop extra trapdoors on the top level like this but then also I’m gonna bring some more stairs so what if we put a stair here I’ll stay on this side another full block on each direction slabs on each trap doors on each and

Then we can wrap it around back this way so slab slab some full blocks stairs and then drop these stairs back this direction now another thing we could do is the same thing on this side we can get rid of all these hey you don’t have

To put what I’m putting you can put more chassis you can put more barrels you can pretty much put anything I’m just gonna go ahead and play around with this style just adding these little bits of detail like so maybe one more right about there come back in here just mix-and-match

Bookshelves crafting benches barrels and you’re good to go it should look pretty nice just like that it looks cool now over here we’re gonna go ahead and put some chess so let me line up some chess here also get rid of the top bit so you

Can go ahead and have this covered up you can put trapdoors or you can actually put slabs it should be fine we can even put lighting in here or even lighting underneath and that should be okay too but really quick let me add all these chests to this wall and there you

Go that looks like a really cool chest wall now I’m gonna go ahead and the st. rafters we have on the other side you know we could do this add some trapdoors to this level we can also do it over here on this end and then we can finish

It off by adding some extra trapdoors up on this corner and this corner as well now over here and just give a little bit of texturing so really quick let me grab some texture plugs and right here I’m gonna go ahead and give it a little bit of a mix just

Some stone break and a little bit of cobblestone just around here on the side just change it up and it looks pretty nice something like this looks really cool that’s simple enough and then we can also do it down here so let’s get rid of this and just add a little bit of

Texturing just like so there you go super simple and that’s all it takes now over here let’s go ahead and do some more details I never know how to put a upset on staring here up sit down stair here I’m gonna grab a trapdoor put that

In the center let’s grab a flowerpot and I’m also gonna add some sea pickles here drop any kind of flower here in the center let’s go with a blue work in my favorite let’s go right here let’s put one on each side and it’s drop a little

Plant right there and um we are good to go this is it yeah are we gonna do is seal this thing back up real quick and there you go all done awesome views out there look at it really really awesome little things also you can do you can

Throw some glowstone down there if you want to illuminate the actual little circle right there it looks pretty cool but I think with the light we have here should be alright we could add more though if you want you can maybe even throw a light here in the center to add

A little bit more you can even hang some on the top as well it really depends on you guys if you do want to add even more lighting you can even throw some in the center you can put glowstone you can really put anything in this to add more

Detail but I think we’re good alright now let’s get out of here let me show you how to set up the wing out so right from this door we’re gonna just dig down and it’s okay you’re gonna be fine don’t worry we’re gonna dig down from the door

Let’s count this is a 1 this is a 2 this is the 3 this is a 4 this is a 5 so once you get to the fifth this is our tunnel out of here so let me go ahead and count how many spaces it is from the door to

The spot which is right here this should be the spot where you’re gonna start digging so counting from this blog there’s a 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 and then 12 this block right here would be our way out that we already have this

Set up perfectly so that’s all you need and then you’re gonna pretty much just dig a 1 2 3 4 high ceiling and then a 1 2 3 wide area here and then right when we get to this part we’ll just just go up this could be a ladder this

Could be also a scaffold but to dress up this part all you’re gonna do I’m gonna show you how to make it super super simple we’re just gonna go right from this end right here we’re gonna count also one two three on the fourth one right here

On this section we’re gonna put some stairs upside down going all the way down we’re gonna do the same thing over here so this actually counts so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 just like so we’re gonna get rid of these 3 blocks you’re gonna take

Your stripped up one on each side and you’re gonna cover this part up right here with it just eight regular old spruce plank just like that then down here on the bottom we’re gonna run a line of shrimp so this trip is gonna connect and go back this way so let’s

Count 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 so we’re gonna run 9 long right there with stripped and do the same thing on this side so run it all the way down nine long right there once you get to the end we’re gonna take

All this up so it’s four up one two three and four with strips and four more right here whether it’s tripped gonna get rid of these two blocks this is gonna be an upside down stair and we’re gonna put a plank on top mirroring exactly what we did here now in the gaps

In between I’m just gonna surround this whole thing from this side to the end both sides in trapdoor and there we go trapdoor walls on each side then really quick it’s gonna put a light one on this side and one of this at it should illuminate the whole thing in the middle

You could keep that strip to match what’s happening over there or you can cover it up if you want to cover it up I would probably just put some planks of corn all the way down like this keep like a little bit of a wood flooring

That’s fine so you should be good to go if anything if you want to detail a little bit more up here maybe trapdoors every other one and if you want you could even put lights every other one going down this but you don’t have to you could pretty much even do

Something like this maybe one in the middle one on each side depends on your OCD if you’re okay now let’s put a door over here and then we’re also gonna put a door on this side now over here you know what I like I would like to do we can actually surround this

I’m just regular old spruce cord all the way around or you can leave it in stone it really is up to you guys I kind of like looking at the wood so I’m gonna leave this all the way here even down here on the top we can take it pretty

Much to this level above this I could put maybe another light right there and that goes right above you can put our door back here and you are good to go now you can either put a ladder or you can put some scaffold here either one is

Completely up to you guys but we can go ahead and take this right here all the way down with a ladder should be super simple take this all the way to the top and we’re out but that is it that’s all there is to it check out this awesome
