Minecraft Story Mode Release Date – PC, Xbox, iOS, Android

Minecraft on the PC and minecraft story mode the telltale game you know that we didn’t know too much about so now has an official release date it’s very soon as well as a little bit more details to do what’s going on there because it’s episode 1 coming out of this October and

Mode is something I think they’ve been deliberately kind of tight-lipped about like we have know too much about it we’ve seen a few trailers I remember at Minecon they did a lot of details batter but in general they have been trying to keep a lot of it under wraps we know the

Main characters can be Jesse we know they’re going to a convention that you know kind of in Minecraft it’s you know it’s kind of a funny kind of concept there but we don’t know too much about what goes on or what the gameplay is really gonna feel like we just know it

Kind of looks like one of those minecraft animations people don’t like however what we do know now is that the release date for episode 1 because telltale games are episodic and this one is no exception is going to be coming out on Tuesday October the 13th if you

Don’t know that is in roughly four weeks from now just under four weeks and you’ll be able to download it on pretty much any platform because that on that day it will be coming out for Xbox 360 Xbox one PlayStation 3 PlayStation 4 PC Mac iOS and Android as well as a later

Release day which hasn’t been confirmed yet for the Wii U and PlayStation Vita which is kind of crazy just how cross-platform they’re going with this whole thing like it’s it’s the first Minecraft game on the Wii U and it’s also going to be one of the first results of Microsoft you know buying

Mojang and doing some weird things the Minecraft IP we’ll see how it goes I’m excited to play it I’m gonna be playing it just to see what’s going on I’m no convinced I’m going to like it from what I’ve seen so far but just so you can get

Kind of like a impartial view or not really vanish but here’s 25 seconds or so off the trail it’s just you can get a feel of what the game looks and you know feels like in cutscenes I don’t think you realize what you’ve done bugs running away except for you our

Game sticks together that’s what we do so yet the trailer kind of follows the trend of most trailers looks like this is the most important thing but honestly the game does look like it’s gonna be interesting I don’t like the way it looks too much as far as graphics go but

Again with commuting to see how this goes one thing I’ve noticed they haven’t made a trailer since minecon so in July I believe or June you know way back then was the last trailer we’ve seen it’s really gonna be quite interesting to see cuz we’re going very very close to blind

Into this and I guess we’ll get to see about that so yeah that’s minecraft story mode coming out in less than four weeks and also coming out for pretty much every platform ever under the Sun so with that also set and out the wait

Let’s move on to the up bits of news so first of all we have the Minecraft Xbox one update quite a few people been tweeting me saying what’s been going on with that you know why is there an Xbox one update and basically this is just

The 360 update the one that fixed the framerate but it came out like five days later for some reason that’s kind of weird to me but all it really does is it fixes the framerate issue which wasn’t actually so bad the Xbox one maybe that’s why it they delayed it but there

Was just a memory leak which caused framerate issues if you stay in the world for I think it’d be about an hour before you really start to notice it but yeah if your framerate would slowly drop because there was a memory leak which means the longer you spend in one world

The more memory it uses eventually you close up the RAM and a bit of that framerate mode so yeah that’s that’s what course slideshow mode on the Xbox one it’s now fixed and now that’s entirely fixed but that was just to u29 that’s not to you ferti whatever we call

It that’s just t29 on the Xbox one so with all of that set out the way the final bit of news is the latest Minecraft 1.9 snapshot so this is actually a reasonably you know unimportant one compared to you know massive combat changes you know changing the Golden Apple changing hardcore mode

All these massive things this one instead is just going to be you know a few bug fixes optimizations improvements to mob AI teaching skeletons to Moshe husk and I want one thing that’s interesting like kind of the big feature in this one so far which isn’t really that big but

Basically when your pet you either an Oslo or a wolf now guys it would announce you know it in the chat to you even if the thing’s not name because before I think in 1.8 they implemented this where basically if your animal dies and it’s got a name tag attached to it

It will tell you it like it comes up as a death message like you know Jimmy was killed by insert player here so yeah now they’re gonna make it so even if you haven’t named your thing it will announce it to you presumably everyone it says just name donors and

Also just a few more changes like that so yeah it’s mostly a do you know small snapshot which means there we’ve working something big or they’re coming close to the end I imagine it’s more likely going to be they’re working on something bigger because you know Jeb’s tweet how

He wants to change lots more stuff and yeah minecraft 1.9 still in its development progress I think somewhere in the Christmas region is where you could probably expect it because it is you know we haven’t really heard anything of a release day and we are like in September a year off the

Previous one so I don’t see why another couple months would make it that much worse you know what’s a year versus you and two mobs so I guess they’re gonna keep on a kind of going at their own pace on this one and yeah that’s the minecraft PC development update so
