Hey everybody welcome back to our world edit 101 series uh this time i’m going to be sticking with brushes but i’m going to be teaching you guys how to do basic gradients and i’m not a master at this myself migrating can be a little messy But i think i can get you to get your feet below you so what we can do with the materials and brushes is we can put more than one in one brush so i took this command that we learned earlier but i switched out dark prismarine for the diamond block that we Had in there and what we can do is once we have it bound to the brush we can do slash material and then a proportion and then followed immediately by our first material comma another proportion and then our other material and make sure that these values add up to 100 otherwise it Could skew your brush but in this case it would be 70 percent dark prismarine comma 30 warped planks what i’m going to do is i’m going to put in this command that we did in the slides slash br sphere and then now is where i put in my material so 70 percent Dark underscore prismarine comma and make sure you don’t put any spaces in there and then thirty percent warped planks and then i do a space and i’m gonna put the sizes two and so this is also i’ll just do mask white wool and remember that makes it so we can only change The white wall with this brush so i’m just going to go through and look it’s got a little speckled pattern right there yeah and you don’t have to do 70 30. um i’ll usually change up my ratios if i want a smoother gradient but just for the purpose of this Tutorial i’m going to keep it at 70 30. so then now what i’ll do is material 30 actually 70 percent warped planks and 30 and the next one in our gradient would be the streptor typhae and there we go and now we’ve got another step and then you kind of just Keep this stair stepping up changing around the 70 and the 30 and sometimes i’ll do this ratio throughout an entire build but that’s it has to be a pretty big build so i will stair step this up so now the strip warp typha goes to 70 percent and then We go to our next one which would be waxed oxidized copper and here we go and i think that 70 30 is like a good like really rough ratio where it can kind of mix see it’s not perfect but you can kind of get the overall gist of it But what i will do here is i will fast forward a clip of me just going through and taking a little bit more care with my blending and it honestly it just comes down to playing around with the ratios and then maybe hand blending so I will do that and i will see you guys back in the slides And that is pretty much this tutorial that’s about it so i hope you all learned something and i hope that you’re enjoying these world edit tutorial videos i’m not a master at world edit but i think i know my way around and i’d like to continue this series if you Guys think it’s useful so i will keep making them let me know some suggestions and i will try to make them as well as i can alright have a good day bye You Video Information

❖ Minecraft: World Edit 101 (Brush Basics)
This is a continuation of my World Edit Tutorial Series! Here I am attempting a blend between normal Minecraft command guides and Khan Academy. These are very basic gradients, intended for absolute beginners. I intend to continue with this series and progressively get more advanced. Enjoy!
