Hey what’s going on guys it’s big tony here and today we’re going to be building this majestic wizard tower before we start building though let me show you around so there’s a couple of different options for getting in and out of the tower the preferred method is to Fly in and out through the top of the tower using an elytra it’s really convenient because when you’re done up here you can just glide right out but if you don’t have an electrode don’t worry because you can also just walk right in through the entryway at the bottom In the first room here we have some decorations with an armor stand and some chests then we have a crafting table and a spot for your pet to sit the next room from the entryway is the kitchen and in here we have like a mass of barrels and chests as well as some Cobwebs to make it look old and run down and over here we have a bunch of furnaces built into the walls we also have some extra storage and a table the rooms of the actual tower itself are pretty small because the stairway takes up a lot of room but on the second floor We have a small brewing area On the next floor up we have a bedroom so there’s a desk and some beds and some other decorations on the final floor there’s some more brewing stands an enchanting table and some crops as well as other magical decorations so that’s about it for the tower it’s Not very big on the inside but it looks pretty nice on the outside and can make a great landmark for your world so now that you’ve seen the tower if you’re ready to start building then let’s head over to a flat world and get down to business So as you see here i divided the exterior into six separate steps and each step will be a chapter in the video so you can easily skip around so as you probably noticed when i was showing you around the tower the stone break in the wood are both textured Using a mixture of different blocks i’m going to do all the texturing at the end so if you’d rather do it as you’re building and not have to go back later then you might want to skip ahead and watch the texturing chapter and then come back finally the materials list will be in The description and now we’re ready to start building we’re going to start on step number one where we’ll build the main part of the tower with nothing on the inside and i’d recommend placing some water at the base that once you have it all built you can Just jump down so we’re gonna start by building the entryway so place five stone brick blocks then skip three and place five more then on the inside place four stomach walls on each side place a full stone break block on top of the walls and then one slab in between Next we’ll outline the shape of the tower so go on the back side of this entryway place a stone brick with a log next to it and then one more stone brick we’ll do that on each side to make these corners then place three stone bricks we’ll make another corner here and then Three stone bricks then we’ll make one more corner and three more stone bricks so you can pause here if you need to see the shape again next place three stone brick blocks on top of this entryway then we’re going to build up this tower an additional six Blocks for a total of seven so let’s build up this three on the entryway and additional level then we’ll build this all up in additional six for a total of seven by the way if you’re not already subscribed i would appreciate if you take a second and hit that red button as A wise man once said it’s free and you can always unsubscribe later All right so now on this seventh level we’re going to go around to each of the logs in the corners and place two trapdoors next we’ll go around and build up this tower an additional four for a total of eleven And again you can place your two trap doors at the top of the log so there should be three blocks of vertical space in between the trapdoors All right so let’s build it up one more layer and then we’ll start adding some windows now for the windows on the front side place one stone brick and then two iron bars and on the other three sides place three iron bars now we’ll build up the tower and Additional four blocks going around those windows and one block below the top place your trapdoor so again there should be three blocks of vertical space in between the trapdoors All right so at this point your tower should be 16 blocks tall and now we’re gonna build it up an additional six for a total of 22 there won’t be any more windows but don’t forget your trapdoors with three blocks of space in between All right so that’s it for step one so for step two we’re going to be building the entryway that you can get into the tower from we’ll build the floor on the inside and then we’ll build the stairway that leads all the way up as well as the floors so after this step You should be able to easily travel up and down the tower so we can work on the top so to start on our entryway go to the two corner logs on the front side and place six spruce planks going out from each one then place a log on the end And one more spruce plank on each side then we’ll place four stone bricks with a space in between one block back then i’ll just place some coarse dirt around the front where our doorway will be then we can place the door in there on the inside of the block Next on the inside for the first floor i’m going to use all polished deep slate if you don’t want to use polished deep sight i’d recommend spruce or dark oak planks for the floor Once you got your floor filled in we’re going to build up these corner logs by an additional three for a total of four and also these spruce plank walls on the side for these two planks on the front side we’ll build them up an additional five for a total of six Next we’ll build an archway in the wooden wall so on the fourth block up place a trap door on each side then place an upside down stair and one more trap door in between then we’ll place three planks here and we’ll build these three up an additional two And then two more planks on top for this stone brick layer of the wall we’re going to build it up using the same shape as that wooden planks but just placing an upside down stone brick stair above the door okay so now our entryway is ready for a Roof and we’re going to be building the roof out of dark oak planks and cobble deep slate so start on this fourth block and replace dark oak stairs going all the way across and it’ll extend out by one next place an upside down stair and then a full block with the stair and We’ll go up with this pattern of stairs with full blocks to make it a slope of two until we get to the top and here we’ll place an upside down stair next to the full block then we’ll place two oak logs sticking out place a button on the end And then two chains with a lantern at the top here on this log you can place a full plank and then a dark oak trap door on it next we’ll repeat this frame on the other side starting with those dark oak stairs going across an upside down stair with a full block And a stair upside down stair full block stair upside down stair one more full block and one more stair next going across one block below this window we’ll just place stairs like so and one upside-down stair on the end now for the rest of it we’ll just fill in Inside this frame using our cobble deep slate following the frame so it should be full blocks with stairs on top And at the top here you can just place full blocks and then we’ll go and fill in the other side all right so that’s it for the outside of our entryway but now we’ll go inside and we’ll clean up this roof I’m going to use dark oak stairs first right above the planks and then full blocks one more row of stairs and then full blocks above it you don’t need to do this though we’ll just place the full blocks in the center some on the other side place your stairs In full blocks and then one row of stairs Now we’re going to start building our stairway going up so in the center we’ll have a log that goes all the way up to the top so you can just build up a few blocks in on the right side here place a stair and then upside down stair Another stair and on the corners place an upside on stair and then you can either place the stair facing this way which is more practical but it looks worse or you can place it this way which looks better but you have to jump so you Can decide which one you want to do for the corners anyway for the rest of the staircase we’re basically just gonna be going up this pattern stairs and upside down stairs going around the log and just build that oak log all the way up So we’ll have our first floor once we get to one block below that window so place an upside down stair here and then a stair facing that direction towards the window then we’ll start filling in the floor with one block of space between the window and just leave A 3×3 opening for the staircase next we’ll build an oak trap door railing so just place oak trap doors going all the way around but just leave a space where the stairway comes up now we’re going to continue our staircase going around that oak log And for our next floor we’ll have one block of space above the window so place one more upside down stair and a stair facing towards that window and then again we’ll fill in the floor of spruce planks leaving a 3×3 gap for the staircase I’ll build that log up and then again we’re going to use an oak trap door railing just leaving a space where the stairway comes up And now we’ll continue our stairway going all the way up to the top of the tower all right so with our stairs we’re going to go to one block above the stone bricks then we’ll fill in the floor on top of those stone bricks and again just Leave a 3×3 space in the center now we’re going to build this oak log to one block above the planks and again we’ll build our trapdoor railing leave one block of space here but then you might want to add an extra trap door by placing a placeholder block just so You don’t fall off all right so that’s step two completed and now for step three we’re gonna add some extra blocks around the base of the tower just for extra support and for looks and for this i’d recommend building it based on the biome that you’re in for example if you’re building This in a snowy biome you can build up snow blocks around the base or if you’re building this at the top of a stone mountain you can build up stone blocks around the base but i’ll just use stone bricks as kind of the basic template alright so because of the random nature Of the base i can’t really tell you every single block to place you kind of just have to use your best judgment i like to start using all full blocks and just get a nice shape and basically what we want is for it to be widest at the Base and then get thinner towards the top so i’ll go around with my full blocks first and get a shape that i like and then i’ll add the stairs slabs and walls to smooth it out all right so now that i have a shape that i’m happy with i’m going to go Around using stairs slabs and walls and i’m just going to use them to smooth out the shape so what i like to do is usually use the walls towards the tops and then stairs in the middle and slabs around the base but just kind of play around with it yourself until you find Something that looks natural and that you like All right so now i’m going to go around the edges and replace some of this grass with stone bricks and depending on your biome you may want to make these muscle stomachs all right so that’s it for step three For step number four we’re going to go to the top of the tower and build this little platform with the supports and this platform will support the house that goes on top of the tower also all four sides of the platform are completely identical so i’ll just show You how to build one side and then you can repeat it on the other three sides so we’ll start on the front side and with one block of space above the window place an upside down spruce stair then place two full blocks on it and on this top one place three trap doors Then place a stair facing outwards and an upside down stair on it then we’ll place a full plank and surround that with four trap doors And place a stair facing outward and upside down stair next on each side place an upside down stair on the third from the top stone brick place two planks on each one And on that bottom plank place two trap doors and then two stairs and we’ll repeat this on the other side so two trap doors and then two upside down stairs Now for the platform itself we’ll place two planks here then three then three again and then four then going back on the other side place three then three and then this one should be two but there’s a plank missing next we’re just going to place slabs sticking out from each plank And finally on this full block that sticks out the farthest place three chains and then a lantern so now we’re going to repeat this platform on all four sides and you can skip back to the time on the screen to see it again now once you have this on all four sides In each corner place a full block and then place two chains with a lantern underneath so repeat this on all four corners all right so that is step four completed and now it’s time to build the house so step five will be the walls for the house and again it’ll be identical on All four sides so i’ll show you how to put it once and then you can repeat it for the other three sides so we’ll start on the front side and place a log right here i’ll just go down here to show you where it’s at then skip three blocks and place another Log then place two spruce planks going towards the staircase from each one then we’ll build up the logs and the planks up an additional four for a total of five on each end place a spruce fence then we’ll make an archway so on the third block up on each side place a Spruce trap door then place an upside down stair on each side above it and one more trapdoor in between then we’ll place a spruce plank on each side and a stair in the middle place an oak trap door on top of that stair then we’ll place two more planks On each side and an upside-down stair in between and finally two more planks on top next on the second block from the top place a dark oak plank slab and then trap door then we’ll place four horizontal oak logs going off from that plank on the end of the log we’ll place A spruce button then place two chains in the bottom with a lantern all right so as i mentioned this is a repeating pattern so you can just repeat this for all four sides alright so next in the four corners we have these little gaps to fill So pick any side and then place two stairs like so A trap door at the base of those stairs and then place two trapdoors on top of each stair then place two more upside down stairs with a trapdoor off of each one so our roof will just sit right on top of here and again we’re gonna repeat this on all four corners All right so step five is finished now and we just have one more step for the outside So step six will be to build the roof and just like the entryway we’re gonna build the roof using a dark oak trim with cobble deep slate for the rest so we’ll just start on any corner i’m using the front right corner and place dark oak stairs going across on top of Those upside down stairs and trap doors and we’ll take this to both sides in an l shape i can do this on the other side as well you’ll basically do this on all four corners because it’s all the same next place two upside down stairs with full blocks on top Then on those full blocks we’re gonna place upside down stairs sticking outwards and then two normal stairs on top of those upside down stairs two more upside down stairs and then on those upside down stairs we’ll place full blocks and on those full blocks we’ll have stairs sticking outwards Finally two more stairs and then a full block on top so that’s the frame of our roof and i’ll pause here for a second in case you need to see it again and here’s the side view and here’s the front view also these two little gaps you can just Fill them in with upside down dark oak stairs all right so now we’re just going to go around and repeat this dark oak frame on all four sides Do All right so up here at the very top of our roof on these planks at the top we’ll place a trapdoor and then a stair on top with an upside down stair then we’ll have more stairs going across the top of the roof but i think it’s Easier to fill it in with cobble deep plate first so go ahead and fill in that cobble deep slate following the frame so we should have full blocks of cobble deepsight with stairs on top then at the top level we’ll just use full blocks So go ahead and fill this in on all four sides alright so now on each side place a trapdoor on that full block a stair on top of the plank and then an upside down stair Then across the top of this cobble deep site we’ll place stairs in the center i’ll place a full block with a slab on top then we’ll repeat these stairs on each of the four sides all right so before we move on to the texturing let’s just go underneath Here and fix up this roof so first of all in each of the corners i’ll place a cobble deepside slab under the starcoat plank then on each of the four sides we’ll place three upside down stairs like so Then in this part of each of the four sides we’ll place more stairs and finally i’ll just fill in this top layer using cobble deep slate okay so now our exterior is complete if you want it to be but you can also do some additional texturing So first of all for the spruce plank walls on our entryway and at the top i’ll mix in some strip spruce wood and i’ll do this on a faster speed Now for all of our stone brick parts i’m going to mix in some crack stone brick and some cobblestone and again i’ll put this on a faster speed All right so depending on your biome you may want to just leave it like this but if you’re in a grassy or a forested biome then i’d recommend mixing in some mossy variants around the bottom All right so that’s it for the exterior of our wizard tower next we’ll design our interior starting with the entryway so go inside here and then on the right side we’ll place a crafting table with a lantern next to it you can place a carpet or whatever color you want and Place your pet on it then we’ll place a pie and a double chest next i’m going to make a 2×2 painting using some placeholder blocks on the other side start by placing a plank on each side with two stairs in between then place three chests on each side And then we’re gonna place four trap doors on each side next place two armor stands on the stairs and above the armor stands place two signs and two more signs and to place the second layer of signs you have to hold shift or crouch and then we’ll play some armor on those Armor stands i’m using gold and diamond for our kitchen let’s start by placing some double chests behind the stairs so i’ll stack them up three blocks high and two blocks wide and then you’ll see me placing some more chests but i’d recommend just keeping it As though six you’ll see me fix it later Now on top of these chests i’ll just place four trapdoors and here i’ll place a crafting table with a lantern next i’m gonna break out these five stone bricks and replace them with smokers then i’ll replace these nine stone bricks with furnaces Then i’ll place two blast furnaces here and i’m also going to place two extinguished campfires for firewood next above our furnaces i’ll break out two blocks tall then i’ll place an upside down stair on each side and a slide at the top on the furnaces i’ll place a double chest and a lantern And then i’m going to go on the outside and fill in this hole so i’ll just replace this wall with the full block and it looks like i have to replace this other wall with a stair Next i’ll replace these chests with a barrel and a flower pot on top then place a stair in a fence pose with a pressure plate on the right side of the staircase when you walk in i’ll start by placing a bunch of random barrels i’ll place a lantern and then some chests Next i’ll just place a couple of cobwebs Next i’m going to turn my brightness down so we can see where we need some extra light and wherever it’s looking kind of dark you can just add some lanterns hanging from chains Okay so now let’s move on to our second floor And this room will be sort of an alchemy room it’s mainly just decorative let’s start by placing a pot with an azalea tree and then some azalea leaves on top then over here i’ll place two crafting tables with a chest in between i’ll place a brewing stand on one and a Lantern on the other on this side i’ll place a scaffolding with a withered skull and then a pot with a sapling and on the last side i’ll place a cauldron and two barrels with brewing stands on top and then some water in the cauldron finally i’ll just add a couple of Lanterns hanging from the roof our next floor will be the bedroom and let’s start by making a 2×2 bookshelf and on top of it we’ll place a lantern over here we’ll place a double chest and a crafting table with a flower pot on top then on this side i’ll place two beds With two trap doors and on our final side i’ll make a desk using two upside down stairs with a spruce slab in between and on top we’ll place an empty flower pot a lantern and then a book in an item frame finally i’ll just add a lantern hanging from the roof So for our top floor let’s start by extending this log all the way to the top next i’ll place two barrels with two brewing stands And then a pot with a crimson fungus on this wall i’ll place two trip wire hooks on the third block up then i’ll place some twisting vines on the ground some soul sand with some nether wart on top and then another twisting vine and then i’ll break this Slab and place some weeping vines in its place next over here i’ll place a bookshelf and then an enchanting table and above it i’m going to place three chains here and then two chains here then i’ll place a lightning rod hanging from each chain i don’t really know what this is Supposed to be but i thought it looks cool anyway next i’ll place a mushroom in a pot then up here i’ll place two trap doors for a shelf and i will place an ender chest and a flower pot with a warped fungus in this corner let’s place two barrels With two brewing stands on top and then a chest on this edge let’s place a left turn between the fence posts then i’ll spread some brown carpets around it and replace this block with a brown wool for extra texture place a book and coil in the lectern and Then i’ll place some candles down here on this wall let’s place a 2×2 painting and then in this corner i’ll place two sideways barrels and on top i’ll place a skeleton skull and an amethyst bud next i’ll place a crafting table and then a trapdoor with a lantern on top Over here let’s place two bookshelves with a lantern then i’ll place a double chest and a 2×3 bookshelf with a flower pot on top and one more chest at the base next let’s add a 1 by 2 painting right here so i’ll just place some placeholder blocks And finally in the center of each side i’ll place two chains and a lantern hanging from it All right and now our build is complete i hope you enjoy your new wizard tower as always guys thanks for watching don’t forget to leave a thumbs up subscribe and all that other good stuff and i’ll see you later you Video Information
