Necromancer – Minecraft Let’s Play Episode 8: The Wizard Tower

Hey everyone I’m a necromancer and I seem to have lost all of my stuff no Armour no tools no nothing it’s all very sad yeah I guess it’s not that big of a deal I have a spare set just kidding this is my this is my real stuff hopefully I

Don’t need a spare set because hopefully I won’t lose this I was spent a very long time getting all of this stuff since last episode I did a lot of mining I enchanted all of my tools I also got a single bookshelf from us for this enchanting table and that’s how I got

This sword um which is pretty good um I also have this act this trouble which I got with a single level three enchantment and this axe which I got with two level three enchantments which I had to combine on breaking one one and efficiency one of the other which could

I think have been a lot better but you know I’ll take it I’ve spent I’ve done a lot um since the last episode I got a farm going and speaking of farms looks like is doing very well um I put out a ton of spaces

So oh and not all of them are filled so hopefully I can fill that soon why is this wheat not freaking oh okay huh um again I’ve probably said this before but sorry for any lag that happens my computer is just bad I got these cows

Which is actually actually got a lot of them I’m bringing them up to get a leather for books so I can get a so I can get a little xxx enchantment like as quickly as possible um yeah hopefully that shouldn’t take that long because I do want a better

Stuff relatively soon so I have done a lot of work on like resource gathering and stuff um I got a lot of wood which you will see when I get back to my little hole and that is actually the reason I got all of those resources was because today we’re going to starting

Building um so right there on that hill that little island I want to build a wizard tower um you know like at all I’m not sure how to describe it but it’s it’s going to be like tall and this is gonna be like a set of winding stairs

That leads up to a platform in the air and it should be pretty cool I got all of these I did a lot of mining off-camera I have 15 diamonds for emeralds over 2 stacks of iron I spent a way too much gold getting 4 golden apples um but look at this look

At all that wood I have this is all this is mostly going to be providing I’m almost definitely not going to use all of this but I should use a lot of it ignore this top row and that’s actually what this is going to be for building

The wizard tower actually so I’ve smelt it up all of the stone I’m kind of looking forward to when I can get silk touch so we don’t have smoked that because cobblestone cobblestone is good for decoration but it’s pretty ugly for just normal building so I was just gonna I’m just

Gonna head over here and look at what I want to do maybe talk about my plans for this little base thingy um I want to do some building over here there’s a cave here that I think could be really cool for building I haven’t actually lit it

Up um it’s pretty large and it comes out on like a couple sides so this could be Oh at well that happened cool um and yeah but this this could be like maybe a little hallway but the main area is right here and this kind of area could

Be really cool for building and it does empty out actually over there into the open again that didn’t mean anything into the open but yeah right here it goes up out there so maybe I could incorporate that um but if I am going to be building in this area it’s gonna be

Like right here mainly um right now however I just wanna maybe clear up this ooh did none of this was here hello skeleton okay maybe I’ll explore this see what’s done here I’ve literally never been in here um I probably should have scouted out this area before I started recording

An episode but okay it’s not that big uh shouldn’t be yeah okay I couldn’t I couldn’t incorporate something that into something but from now I think I’m just gonna yeah I’m just gonna bring the resources over and I will see you in a bit okay we’re back so I managed to fit

All of the things in my inventory call me a pair of shears and got some spruce leaves so for scaffolding and the like um it’s a lot of stuff but um and I probably won’t need all of it but uh yeah you can never be too prepared the

One thing I wish I should have brought maybe yeah I mean I have enough what I can just make one it’s a crafting table so now I can craft like slabs and stuff um I want to make yeah I’m just gonna see pillar up here and just kind a

Little platform going I’m not sure how high I want this don’t want to be too high over the top of that tree um I think this should be good um sorry if I say um a lot it’s a bad habit I should really try and break it

So yeah we’re just gonna get this platform going I want to be big enough so I can fit like all of my stuff on it ah the problem ah no that’s so sad can I create like a staircase going up here technical difficulties I’ll get

Back to you okay so after a lot of deliberation and annoying falls off of this precarious staircase give a way to get up to the top here without having to pillar up this dirt column every time ah which is pretty nice I I’m going I need

To make some more slabs because I want to build out this roof um I was debating because you put your enchanting table in your wizard tower because duh it’s always a wizard tower but I was debating whether I wanted to make whether I wanted to make it just on a chanting

Table place where or if I wanted to like include all of my other stuff like if I wanted to make a separate structure for my storage and smelting and stuff if I wanted all in one and I think just for convenience sake we should probably have it to be a single structure

Um I think see that the annoying part is that with working with slabs is that if you place them in the wrong spots they’ll stack and then you have to mine them and then when you mine one you’ll mind the other as well it’s kind of just

Kind of tedious but you know you got to do it leave space they can get up ah second time no sorry third time did that off-camera once and we’re just going to finish this up this is actually kind of tedious I’m going to get back to you once I have a

Little base down huh well I guess that’s why I put my bed there was aam be so that happened Wow my stuff went a long way is that really how it happens when you fall like that where the rest of my arm work that looks like something wou laggin wagon

Okay now that’s my helmet there’s my pants oh there’s my boots okay so it’s took about 20 minutes but uh after a long time and a lot of annoyed deliberation we finally have ourselves a circle shape look at that it should be big enough to fit all of our

Stuff I think I purposely put it on a slab instead of a full block actually that was on purpose I swear um because I wanted to get like everything sunken in to the ground or maybe like popping out you know so I think I’m not sure what

Would look better so we have for the corners so it’s like they’re there they’re there and then so on so would this first look better like this or with the oak look better I need to charge my computer but I don’t know um I’m just gonna see what

It looks like all in spruce no – hi um the lag lag is probably pretty annoying for you but you know you learn to live with it I know I think I like the Spruce what if I strip it I like oh I like that that creates a

Nice texture yeah I think I’m going to go with a stripped logs oh my last one I’ll go get that later but yeah um I think we’re close to doing the like actual meat of the build I because what we need to do is like get some ooh oh that’s that’s scary

That’s scary gonna have to take those guys on sigh and while my computer’s lagging ok good soft but really really guys could have waited until while I was not recording um I like stop please fine I have to hold the shield ok got one Michael this guy so I can get

The bad omen this is tedious or I’m making this hard for me Oh fine a little bit for you ok I’m swimming there you go I think I got the banner as well die just die already ok die die die die thank you ooh a crossbow

Oh it’s really it’s not like dad that’s too bad maybe I can repair it though no exactly sure how you repair something nice not that hard this looks kind of ominous just stand enough there but yeah I need to and we’re probably I’m probably going to

Start on like the the actual body of the build soon so I’m just gonna get a couple ideas in maybe experiment around with what looks good and I’ll get back to you ETA’s fit very long time since the last clip but I think it was worth it in the end because

We now have a roof look at that that actually came out a lot better than I was expecting kind of looks like a wizard’s hat which I guess I don’t know what’s intentional but ended up looking like that that weird leaves thing is so I can get up on

The top I’m going to leave that there because I want to come back and decorate this thing not just leave it all stone I think that big because it kind of looks it looks really cool but I think it could look a lot better we can like

Texture it with the andesite that we have so you’ll notice that I have the bad omen effect um I killed some pillagers which uh I killed a set of pillagers and then then I died so I I lost it and then I killed another set of filters of pillagers I was icing

Villagers I meant pillagers um there might be a what’s it what’s the thing the villager the pillager outpost over there that’d be pretty cool so I brought my bed over um so now so now we can sleep over here and work on it and I also got a couple

More bookshelves I haven’t brought my enchanting table over just yet because I’m not quite ready to move my stuff over although I have brought my bed over um so I’m not sure um now I were done with the actual light what now that we’re done with the roof I’m probably gonna do

To save the texturing for next episode but I do want to start on the base like get kind of a basic shape going so I’m just gonna Matt I figure I’m gonna have to chop down this tree which is kind of sad but I am probably I’ll be able to

Leave these to it which is I guess it’s not that big of a deal so yeah I will get going on that and I’ll see you in a bit really nothing is more satisfying than in Minecraft than harvesting a field full of wheat although I guess I got

Impatient and didn’t let all of them grow so I have to kind of go around the ones that haven’t grown yet but yeah um I grew up these cows like a lot um this isn’t even how much it was before because um at one point I had um I had

It was like filling up this entire area and I kind of massacred them for leather like a little bit but they’ve already grown back to this amount so their cows grow pretty fast which was pretty nice and look either I missed these or they just grew right now but we got a couple

More pieces of the wheat so I’ve just been getting like a bit of a rough shape in here you know experimenting what this looks like nothing’s come out pretty good I’m using wood because I don’t want to waste my stone if I think it looks bad um this

Sire I think could do with some variation in it like maybe maybe that yeah that that looks a bit better maybe we’ll put like a block there and yeah I’ve just been doing kinda this and then all come at once I’m done happy with the shape I’ll just come back and replace it

All with stone and yeah then we’ll have the shape done and it’s basically gonna be done Wow okay I’m glad that’s over so it’s unfinished but we’re actually getting pretty close like it’s only what from this block it’s one two three four five left to build up at this point I

Think I want to kind of bring it out more maybe like yeah it’s just like wine in it so it eventually will connect to the more closer the edges then just right up here um but yeah um I ran out of oak wood but I think I can continue with spruce so yeah

The main thing is that we want to keep the spiral in here so we don’t want any blocks out or if we do like here and then if we do have any blocks that are like there you can really reach that and especially since it’s covered by the

Slab up here like I said I’m gonna be widening this a bit so maybe Wow I’d like um just get some of this stuff out and fill it a block out and then the problem is then we’re going to have kind of a era in here now that is filled

Just like the pull up the side maybe I’ll leave that block out um yeah um this is probably going to be a bit boring so I’ll cut back when I’m finished with the shape oh hello there just probably get back um but I wanted to show you that we are officially done

With this so my original plan was to do like some texturing actually and create well created in stone but actually just a sec I actually kind of like how it looks as wood uh um but the problem is if I change it to stone and I like it

Better as would it be a huge pain to not only would it be a waste of stone but also be a huge pain to convert back into wood so I’m not actually sure I might wait on deciding that until next episode um I haven’t finished the interior of

This part I might actually want to make it so it like I can put stuff in this area so that way like maybe storage or something so I can have more space up here um I have some bookshelves that I set up right here and I also made a

Couple more and there but they’re back over at my face over there I like actually really liked how this build has turned out um have I this I don’t know I put in these pillars here um I think they look and I say I like texture make it so it’s really not

Just a floating thing um and yeah I made them like thick so they’re free wide instead of just too and that’s also why I put that and that out so I could fit these pillars in because I originally had them so different logs on me I don’t

Think so I Ridge ”’l II had them so that I’m recording it anyway so I originally had them so it was like flat but it doesn’t really look good and I think once I moved it one back so there’s more texture it looks a lot better um I still might want to texture

This although I kind of like it how it is um I feel like this isn’t complete although I’m not really sure what else to add to it so um I might I think because the problem is yeah I like how it looks now but I also think I might like it better

If it was stone and I’m not sure what to do about that maybe I could do kind of a mix like have stone on the bottom because I like the bottom section less put the wood up there blending with the wood on the like up there is pretty nice

So I think I might keep that a couple top layers of wood maybe transition it to stone on the bottom oh okay hello then wait okay no it’s only grass okay um I know how to deal with these guys what you do is you dig a hole

And then you get your blocks out and you do that and you look at them and place up there like and kill it all right where’d you go there you are hello hello please tie where’d you go I got one of these earlier off camera but it disappear it

Teleported away and then D spawned before I could get it hello where’d it go huh that’s strange I guess it didn’t like me very much well I can see why I was trying to kill it but anyway yeah I’m happy with what I’ve done today um I might do some work

On transforming this into stone next episode well voice crack but I think I’m good for right now um so I am actually going to end the episode here um yeah I hope you enjoyed wait why don’t you have one I hope you enjoyed please stick
