NEW EDITOR MODE RELEASED! Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.19.80.20 Beta!

This is Minecraft bedrock’s new editor game mode and you can do cool things like this welcome everyone my name is Echo we are back with a brand new Minecraft Bedrock beta and preview in order to get access to the features I’m showing you in today’s video you need to update to the version

1.19.80.20 here is the confirmation from J Wells Mega Spud our Minecraft Community manager he said it’s happening there’s a new Minecraft preview on its way including the Cherry Grove trails and tales experimental features new you died screen Bedrock editor now if you want the official chains log it is down

Below today is a very good day for the Minecraft Bedrock Community now I do want to outline that we will very briefly check out the new editor game mode today however in a video tomorrow I’m gonna do a dedicated video showing you how to download it install it in how

It works we have so many cool features to go through all also with this beta and preview being released 1.19.70 is complete so expect that over the next one to two weeks all right we’ve got a lot to go through let’s get into this some sad news for Minecraft

Android players it does say please note due to unavoidable circumstances the Android beta will be delayed until early next week we apologize for any inconvenience and we’ll have the update out to you as soon as possible moving on to experimental features introducing the Cherry Grove biome with pretty cherry

Blossom trees you can find it in the mountains like Meadows it has a new flower pink petals as ground cover which can be crafted into pink dye also pigs rabbits sheep and bees spawn there comes with a new wood set for the Cherry blossom trees these are all the wood

Available but let’s go and check out the biome because this is a perfect example of the new Cherry biome spawning in the meadow locations I think this will very quickly become a lot of people’s favorite bio now a few things I do want to mention is you see the trees they

Have particles falling down well if you take the block home with you and place it down you can actually get the particles in your base very similar to Spore Blossom so I can imagine these leaves are going to be very very popular also these uh Pink petals okay so a few

Things about these they can be placed in groups of one or two or three or even four now a really cool thing you can do here is if you get some bone meal you can bone meal these and literally get infinite dye obviously you can burn your leaves pick all of these

Items up and then in your crafting grid just put them in there and you literally have infinite amounts of dyes now this biome seems to be a lot bigger on Bedrock than it is for me on Java I found really really small ones on Java and Bedrock I found really really big

Ones with a huge crevice as well so yeah let me know where this biome is going to rank for you as one of your favorite biomes one thing I would love to see introduced to this biomes uh would be butterflies I think butterflies would be a great addition inside of here you can

Find sheep you can’t find pigs I think I said rabbits and there’s a perfect example of us finding bees in fact I found a lot of bee nests on oh on Java in this biome so a really cool addition in terms of wood we have the Cherry log

We have the stripped Cherry log we have the cherry wood and we have the stripped cherried wood as you can see here this has like a lighter color and a darker color on the outside and obviously these don’t it also comes with planks stairs

Slabs a new door a new trap door we have fences we have a fence gate signs the hanging versions as well we have pressure plates and a button we have the chest boat version and the normal boat we have the sapling which is probably going to be my favorite and of course we

Have the Cherry leaves they do have their own sounds let me play it for you foreign moving on to the decorated pot tweaked the decorated pot neck based on feedback so it’s no longer like a Lego man head anymore they’ve added like an indentation here an extra lip to it and

Honestly that simple change makes it so much better it does also say decorated pot no longer provides support for blocks wanting to attach to its uh side faces we have a bug report the bug report says almost any block can be placed on a decorated pod so here you

Can see item frames hanging signs regular signs torches Bells lanterns and of course banners and here you can see tripwire hooks you can also see the levers and again oh I can actually see some Redstone Dust up there as well so I did do a little bit of a test and you

Can still Place lanterns underneath here but you cannot place things like tripwire hooks on the side however something else you can do is if we grab ourselves an item frame you can still Place item frames on the side let’s try the redstone dust and we’ll also try a

Lever for example so we’ll do these so item frames are completely fine Redstone Dust can still be placed on top I mean I imagine that’s going to be removed uh lever as well maybe that won’t be removed but something else you can really which is really cool you can do

With this if we type in flower get a flower pot just get this flower for example place this on top put this inside it’s a really cool decoration decorated pot is not stackable in inventory so last week you could stack these up it’s not possible to stack

These anymore the best recipe for the decorated pot now shows up in survival recipe book decorated pot particle is now based on the default decorated pot side texture updated Archer Pottery Shop odd texture so they made it less thick that’s the best way to describe it previously it was Ultra thick and didn’t

Really look that great so they’ve updated it this week and it looks super awesome changes with the brush tool changed the brush recipe to use a feather copper Ingot and a stick now this was Community feedback and it just made so much sense stick in the bottom

Copper ingot in the middle and then a feather on top and then you end up with your beautiful brush it also says breaking animations now work when holding a brush in third person view we have a book report one chain while holding the brush plays no animation so

There’s a video here this person’s gonna hit as you can see but when they try and do it in third person there’s no animation so if we’re hitting as you can see we’re hitting changing perspectives as you can see the animation has returned moving on added a slight

Cooldown for particles and sounds when used saying the brush item so it’s less political intensive you can see that it only happens every so often previously it was just like non-stop particles all the time so say sand suspicious sand is no longer water locable suspicious sand

Now connects to fence blocks so if you wanted to connect these it’s now possible to do previously it was not it also says suspicious sand now turns into regular sand after it’s been destroyed with a brush this is a parity change so prior to this on Bedrock edition if you

Completely brushed away the sauce sand it would actually destroy the whole entire block now you end up with regular sand suspicious sand now emits particles when broken by Pistons watch this yeah so you can’t take this block with you unfortunately not with pistons not with silk touch it also says fixed an issue

That call caused the item inside suspicious sand to flicker while brushing additionally blocks that were previously not emitting particles when destroyed by Pistons now do we got a bug report when pushing a budding amethyst with a piston it disappears it’s been reported for quite some time back in

April of 2021 the video here so you can see here they place it down the actual block just disappears and there’s no particles so the difference now is it now has particles below so if we do it again you actually see particles and you actually see it disappear camels camels

Now stop dashing when entering a rideable entity we have a bug report camo leap animation does not end if they end up in a writable entity and the legs just are dangly and this one looks really cool trying to do the Superman effect so I’m gonna try this this week

So if we were to go in this direction and dash and we get inside of this which is rideable for a camel which is really really it by the way I can just push this round he does oh oh yep it just doesn’t make sense for him to fit inside

Of there but at least he’s not dashing and now he’s a little bit more comfortable okay interesting 1.5 sneaking is back it says the ability to sneak under 1.5 block gaps is now behind the short sneak toggle enable the toggle to continue to test out the feature

While we continue to polish it so what that means is when you go to create and create a brand new world and you check out the experimental toggles short sneaking is now behind an experimental so what I can tell you about this is yes it’s back but it’s very very Boogie very

Items after moving to the new one text-to-speech no longer gets stuck on reading accessibility Tab while the user switches between different tabs however a glint strength slider that adjusts how transparent the visual glint is on Enchanted items has been added to the accessibility settings before I show you

That it also says a glint speed slider that adjusts how fast the visual glint shimmers across into chanted items has been added to accessibility settings so what I will tell you here is the enchantment glint has been reduced in this version and we’ll talk about this

Again a little bit later on but it’s been reduced so when you go to settings Now accessibility we have these two glint strength it’s by default they’re going to be at 50. so what I’m going to do here is Bump these all the way up to

100 again this is what it kind of looked like previously in Minecraft maybe not so fast but like I said by default now they’re now at 50 but you can lower these you could keep these speeds at 100 and then the strength all the way down

And it looks like you don’t have any form of enchantments on at all but you could also pop this up to like let’s say 20 or something like that again you can hardly see it at all there or you could do for example all the way up and then

Speed all the way down and then it’s like a hard uh enchantment glint so that has been added personally I like the glint and I will probably have this a lot higher because I think 50 like it’s just it’s not good enough it’s it’s still really hard to see that you have

Enchanted gear you can just about see it but I imagine I’m Gonna Keep mine probably at 100 let me know your opinions on that change blocks it says Mangrove bamboo and Polished Blackstone buttons are no longer visible on maps which is a really weird change anyway flowers are once again displayed

Immediately when placed inside a flower pots there was actually a slight delay with this one it’s now instant touch controls fixed an issue where items could get stuck in the crafting table when using touch inputs if the player is underwater an auto jump is enabled as

Where command blocks could cause actors within a level chunk to freeze the health boost effect no longer fully replenishes the player’s Health after the effect runs out moving on to General fixed ambient cave sounds to no longer play when the player end or loads into the end cooking tourists fruit In
