NEW POKEMON MOD for Minecraft LOOKS AMAZING!?! | Cobblemon [Forge/Fabric 1.19+]

Do you guys remember old school Pixelmon you know when the actual Pokemon looked like they were in Minecraft don’t get me wrong I have nothing against the current style of Pixelmon as a matter of fact I think it’s really cool and it’s very impressive the fact that that’s a

Minecraft mod but what if you like me and you prefer the stylistic choice of Minecraft well there’s no rules against Pokemon Batman oh no so hey guys and welcome to Cobble mon a brand new Pokemon mod that just came out for the latest version of Minecraft 1.19.2 or well technically

There’s another version above this but still it’s for 1.19 and as you guys can probably tell it is a Pokemon mod that actually adds in a crap ton of Pokemon within the style of Minecraft I mean look I brought her oh it looks so cool you might be wondering why some look uh

Very let’s just say stiff and some look a bit more complete well that’s because this mod is currently still being worked on so if you actually want to follow its progress and all that kind of stuff I recommend checking out the link down in the description to see it for yourself

But today I thought we’d jump in with this mod and just see what the Pokemon kind of look like all that kind of stuff see what’s here and well uh yeah like I said you know just see what there is you know there’s a lot of options and

There’s even a whole combat system which isn’t as advanced for example when you go to fight and use while flamethrower as you can see there’s no animations yet but I’m assuming in the future that’s probably something that’s going to be added at least I really hope so developers if you’re watching this

Here’s well three things I’d love to see firstly obviously I’d really like to see more animations for battle because at the moment all it is is they just stand there and I go for an attack jump kick I nothing happens but I definitely understand that not being a priority at

The moment especially when not even every Pokemon is here if I go Pokemon on and go Arceus there he is spawn in uh yeah no he ain’t Arceus so we definitely don’t have every Pokemon here and I’d say focus on adding them all first and then once you have every Pokemon added

Give them some cool animations and stuff and then tackle combat at least that I feel like that’s probably what they’re doing another thing I’d love to see is obviously TMS and giving your own Pokemon different moves at the moment we can open up their stats and we can go

Into the move section and actually switch out their moves for moves they can learn which I really like having that ability is really cool but at the moment Charizard for example if I throw him out there’s no way to teach him flight even though he’s a flying type oh

Well I should say a dragon and because of that I mean if we can teach Pokemon you know with wings or giant Birds I should say these Pokemon the ability to fly we can interact with them here and as you can see some can go on our

Shoulder and some can carry items why not make one of these the ability to ride the Pokemon again I feel like that’s something that’s probably going to be added but one thing I know is probably definitely not going to be added that I feel should be because this

Mod seems to do something that Pixelmon doesn’t want to do this mod makes Pokemon work within Minecraft as you can tell by the Styles meeting in the middle that’s kind of how I’d like to think it’s working and if that’s the direction they want to go please please please add

This if we send it to night time real quickly we definitely know within the Pokemon anime that Pikachu can attack humans and because of that we’ve seen him attack Team Rocket we’ve seen him attack other people we know Pokemon could do damage to actual beings well you see in Minecraft there are things

Called monsters why can’t I throw out my Pokemon and then if I’m in survival mode hit the Pokemon and like a dog my Pokemon should be able to attack it why does my Pokemon not attack that creeper even if I throw my Pokemon at the monster it it doesn’t do anything I have

To aim at the ground near it and it just stands there like a little dude but bro what I don’t know I feel like that’s just the normal thing that I’m probably expecting that it probably won’t even be added but hey I think it’s a pretty cool

Idea at least unlike my other showcases for this this mod is so big I’m not gonna be able to Showcase it all so instead let’s showcase a few of the things I find really cool obviously I just gave a little bit of feedback to the developer if they are watching this

Quick I don’t know why I got them all out but as you can see we actually have a PC we can access that’s really nice and we can store all of our Pokemon in there with nice little sound effects and all that kind of stuff very detailed

Same thing works for the healing oh yeah I love the it’s so nice that it seems like it’s made for Minecraft the fact that it’s everything has the Minecraft models it’s what makes me really like cobblemon that’s what I that’s why I’m so excited for this to be updated more

Can you back off Articuno of course you can literally just capture random animals out in the world if you want to just by throwing pokeballs at them and well again like normal Pokemon if it shakes three times bang you catch them and sure enough they get added straight

To your party if your party’s full however they’ll go straight into your PC over here all the pokeballs work how you think they’d work and they actually do describe well how they work for example the love ball at 2.5 times if the target of the opposite gender to the player’s

Pokemon for example if I well let’s say low bunny drawing my low bunny against this male wulu I can then actually use the love ball no use the love ball and because I’m up against well a male technically this has got a 2.4 times catch rate yep that’s it isn’t it yep

There we go didn’t even do it any damage that’s so cool everything here should work pretty much the same as in Pokemon I I think don’t quote me on that I’m not too sure there are actually a lot of things you can do that are very Advanced

Things for example I can actually edit whatever slot in my inventory I want for example if I go wulu here I can actually make wulu an elohan version real fast by doing that I don’t know if there is an Aloha version or whatever it’s called well let’s just quickly throw them out

No okay yeah not quite what’s an easier way to show probably with my second Pokemon if I go to edit the slot and quickly select the Pokemon we can actually make it wait wait wait wait wait milkable no way what do you mean by that if we make this one a shiny I’m

Pretty sure all the shiny types are here oh yes dude that is sick yo wait wait wait wait wait wait does every Pokemon have a shiny surely not if I go to like Mewtwo there’s no way shiny yes bro I mean not all the textures are done but

Dude the whole tale yeah that is so cool so judging by that I’m assuming we’re probably also able to find shinies in the world I mean hopefully I don’t know if you guys have seen any so far but that’s so cool the fact that shinings

Are already in the mod I mean I guess they are just another color palette for the Pokemon it’s nothing too crazy but still that’s cool to me honestly the only other things I’d say to change would be like obviously for fire Pokemon even with uh Charizard they kind of show

It really well yeah as you can see the fire it’s animated on these Pokemon well obviously they’re still a bit of work to be done because the fire is not animated at all but once it gets animated oh man this mod I already know all these Minecraft modeled Pokemon are gonna be

So freaking cool honestly this is just so freaking awesome seeing all these Minecraft bottles of Pokemon it makes me want to see a few more but I don’t know how lucky I’ll get with actually finding any let’s quickly clear the weather so instead of hunting for Pokemon let’s go

Through and actually see what we have poke spawn and uh I guess we’re just gonna go through until I see a Pokemon name that sounds really cool or someone I know I’m curious can we get a Pikachu there you are buddy hey I’m just going to capture with an Ultra Ball real quick
