OMGcraft – Minecraft Tips & Tutorials! – BitBetter Than Default Texture Pack for Minecraft

A resource pack for those people who would like default resource packs what hello everybody and welcome to omgcraft i’m your host omg chad there must be hundreds of thousands of resource packs out there and there’s resource packs for just about every type of person some people like the default look some people

Want to make sure that minecraft doesn’t look at all like minecraft and might look like a completely different game well today we have something that is a little bit more mainstream i myself love the default look of minecraft but having hd textures is a super big plus so let

Me show you this resource pack that i’ve found so here we are inside of minecraft and things may not look that different well that’s because i haven’t put on the texture pack yet but i do want to point out that there is not that big of a difference

As you can see the resource pack is now on but from far away looks like not much has changed and i actually kind of like that because one of the things that i find very difficult about texture packs or resource packs is that things change so much that i can’t remember what they

Are anymore maybe a pumpkin looks so different then i don’t know that it’s even a pumpkin or sugar cane or whatever but when you get up close to blocks you can see that there is much more detail in all of these blocks because this is a 64

Pixel texture you can see that there’s nice shadows you can really see it in this brick right here with kind of the grout looks a lot further down because of the extra pixels that have been added you get up on wood you can see right there you can see that nice bit of

Shadow let’s go back over to these bricks just to show you what it looks like without the resource pack so that you will be reminded there you go that’s what it looks like without you can kind of see that grout in there it’s just uh one pixel wide but

With the resource pack on you get a lot more detail which i really really really enjoy there it is let’s go see if we can find some other things to gawk about uh some items like these trapdoors right here have been added with 3d textures so uh some things like

This door right here you can kind of see that there’s actual 3d depth to the doors also if we could find by the way that crafting table looks really really good find some furnaces here we go these furnaces also have that nice 3d depth to them let’s see if we can

Burn something here we go let’s make some some some charcoal right there and we’ll do one at uh eye level as well oh sorry i’m stealing whoever’s uh stuff this is there you go so it has a really really really nice texture let’s give them their stone back so we don’t steal

All their stone and you also get a nice green arrow whenever things are going across instead of that sort of gray one which which we got before but i think that that looks really really nice i do know that another a few other things that have changed are uh some

Iron doors and pumpkins those also have a nice 3d effect to them you can see that the grass has a little bit of definition we got some definition in the iron bars that sort of 3d aspect to them some things that uh don’t seem super changed are foliage oh

Because it does wiggle though that’s kind of nice uh but uh oh well yeah i guess there was a little bit of definition to that uh to that um flower there oh these ladders oh man that looks i had not actually seen these ladders before but you could also see the wood

Texture and things like that i think that that adds quite a lot gosh it almost looks like that is 3d but but it is not uh what i mean by uh foliage is that those are not 3d those are still what i was talking about with the definition of the foliage is that

There’s still that sort of 2d look placed on top of each other some other things that are different as you’ll notice that my xp bar is sort of this crazy rainbow now and the selector has changed as well as the gui the gui for a few things so like this it has

Basically a darker look to it your inventory and same thing with enchanting and with an anvil you can see a few other uh textures here all in all i would have to say that i really really really enjoy this edition because it adds a nice high definition texture

But for someone who’s been playing minecraft on the default texture pack like myself for so long for just so so long it doesn’t change it in such a way that i have become confused and don’t and get lost with some of the additions see some nice textures down there uh the

Books still look basically um basically not as textured but you can see a little bit of a shadow right there that that’s been added all in all i feel like this would be great because i’ve seen some streams or i’ve been on some streams where people just didn’t really enjoy

The difference in a new texture pack and that actually turned some people off and they maybe would stop watching the stream but this is a new texture pack while still creating the feel of the old one so that is a bit better in my opinion a really cool resource pack with some
