Hey what is up guys Fenix here and welcome to part 1 of our tanja Roca moto pixel art from the Demon Slayer series that’s recently taken a lot of popularity in the anime community so well we’re gonna be needing for this pixel art is about 200 by 200 space it’s Pretty big and detailed so make sure you have 200 with 200 height you should be safe we’re gonna be starting on the left side of the build so out of the 200 space you’re setting up just kind of go to the left side of it if anything Ignore those three blocks in the middle that’s just for camera work we’re gonna be on the left side over here and what we’re gonna do is we’re first going to just start off by placing three pieces of coal blocks going straight up one two three Since this is this is the first part of the tutorial and some of you guys might be new here I’m gonna be using blocks of coal and the grass blocks to shape out the frame of the build and then later we’ll go into detail and talk about the colors at The end but for the most part to do tutorial you’re gonna be using grass and blocks of coal now when I say go up into the right or down into the left or whatever I say basically when I build pick sorts a lot of the blocks don’t connect exactly to each other they Connect that diagonals like this so when I say up in to the right that means on the final block that you placed we’re gonna put a placement block on the top or right which is why I said up in to the right and then we’ll build off from There to build off with our next block so for example from here we’re gonna go up into the right three more vertical blocks so we’re gonna look at the top block and the three vertical we just placed and we’re gonna add a placement block to the top or right side so that We can go up into the right three vertical one two three once you understand that simple concept you’ll probably be able to build very fast and for people who are old and already know how to build the pixel arts I’m sorry but I have to explain it every time Anyways from there we’re gonna go up into the right two singles which are just two blocks solos right here one two up into the right three verticals so put your placing block to the right or top side up in to the right three vertical one two three Up until right two vertical place block in the same spot and once we switch direction I’ll make sure to make a note of it and just tell you guys I don’t usually switch direction just randomly and casually I will tell you when we’re switching direction so from now we’re Just gonna be putting your place and blocking at the end on the top or right side and you should be safe with doing that we are also just doing the base of the pics like today we’re not doing anything complex so we’re just trying to make sure that everything is in frame And it’s not anything too crazy so try not to get lost from here we’re going to up into the right one single place move lock one up and to the right two vertical two times in a row placement block on the right or the top side 1 2 That’s 1 1 2 that’s 2 up into the right 2 singles now 1 oops I keep placing the wrong ones 1 2 and from there we’re gonna start getting ready to go into some flats basically we’re trying to get the curvature of his shoulder so that’s why We’re using verticals right now just to get the height of it but we’re gonna have to flatten out so I can smooth out because your shoulder is rounded so we have 3 3 1 1 then we have 3 2 1 2 2 1 1 okay then we’re gonna go up into the Right two vertical two times in a row again so place the block on the right on top side or go 1 2 that’s 1 1 2 that’s 2 up into the right six singles now so place me block on the top or right side 1 2 3 4 5 6 and if at any point you’re feeling a little bit confused or you want to know what your should look like always just view the right hand camera screen you can always just zoom out and see where we’re at and you can kind of Just see if things are matching up it starts looking way off you might want to go back and slow down to tutorial from here we’re gonna go up into the right to flat 5 times in a row so instead of blocks on top of each other with the Verticals they’re gonna be lying down now so same placement blocks but we’re gonna do two flat this time one two just like that and it’s gonna be five times so it’s gonna keep on going put a placing block at the end 1 2 that’s 2 1 2 that’s 3 1 2 That’s 4 1 2 that’s 5 and once you do that you can go back and delete all these extra dirt blocks that are in your way hopefully the cameraman is framed properly I don’t want to have to scoot them over too much but I think we’re Doing good from the air we’re gonna go up into the right 3 flat so play some block on the right or top side 1 2 3 up and to the right 2 flat we’re gonna do that four times in a row so placement Block 1 2 that’s 1 1 2 that’s 2 1 2 that’s 3 1 2 that’s 4 perfect after that we’re gonna go up into that one single again and for people who might be thinking this is getting very repetitive it is but we’re almost at the end of it We’re almost at the neck and almost are switching direction so hopefully you guys can tough it out pixel arts is a grind but it’s worth it if it’s a character you like so if absent single we’re gonna go up into the right to flat 1 2 up into the Right 3 flat 2 times in a row so play some block on the right or top side 1 2 3 that’s one let’s do it again 1 2 3 that’s too perfect and always just clean up your workspace of the dirt blocks because sometimes I’ll have dirt blocks That are left there to mark things for you so if you confuse that with blocks that I actually don’t want there it can be a problem later part later on in the tutorial so from sorry sorry heartburn from there we’re gonna up into the right 2 flat 1 2 Up into the right 3 flat 2 times in a row 1 2 3 that’s 1 1 2 3 that’s 2 up into the right two flat again up into the right three flat one-two-three up into the right one single up into the right two flat and Here’s where we get ready for the collar of the build so kind of just wrap around so we can start the second shoulder and we’re not at the halfway point yet so you can tell we’re gonna have to move the right cameraman but it’s okay right Now it’s nothing too crazy so from here we’re gonna go up into the right five singles one two three four five and then to reach the neck we’re gonna go up and to the right two then three flat so up and to the right two flat one two and Then up and try three flat one – oops – three like I said that’s officially the neck so from there we’re gonna be switching up directions and I actually do intend to move the cameraman now that we’ve reached this far and it’s not centered because we want it to be kind Of close to the middle but this shouldn’t be the middle yet so I’m gonna move them over like that and hopefully this is enough space to work with probably gonna have to scoot them over a little bit more just because it still looks like it’s not centered yet what We’re gonna do from the three-five we just placed next is I want you to place a block to the right of it like so and from that block to the right we can actually drag it down to do the neck or we can I think we can only drag it down To the neck because the top part is doing the head and I don’t want to do that so what we’re gonna do from here is we’re going to add one two three four five six blocks to the top of it switch to your coal one two three four five Whoops every count one two three four five six and then underneath it we’re gonna go down one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven blocks that’s a lot underneath one two three four five six seven eight nine 11 perfect now once you have that we’re Gonna go to the block all day on the bottom right here and add one extra to the left and there are a couple of other points where we can add blocks on this little long strip right here but I’m gonna leave them for now from that block to the left we’re gonna Go up into left one single and that’s it for this left corner for the right block in the two flat however we’re gonna put a place block underneath it or to the right side so we can go down into the right two flat one two down to the right Three flat one two three down to the right five flat one oops one two three four five down it’s right for flat one two three four down it’s right three flat again one two three and now we are somewhat centered on the pixel art so we’re gonna drop down just A little bit more but then we’re gonna bring the blocks back up and do the other half of his shoulder so what we’re gonna do next is go up to the right I think it’s 15 blocks or down with the right sorry 15 blocks and we just don’t Check 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 yep down to the right 15 flat so put your place a block underneath so we can go down 1 2 3 4 5 1 2 3 4 5 1 2 3 4 5 I Just split it into 3 groups of 5 because 3 times 2 on 3 times 5 is 15 very easy to count it up that way because if I try to count straight to 15 sometimes if I stutter with a block I forget which one I displaced so after That 15 we’re gonna put face and walk at the end and we’re gonna use that to jump right into going up and to the right to do the other part of the neck 6 flat 1 2 3 4 5 6 after that we’re gonna keep going up Into the right so just keep putting your place and walk to the right or top side for this next part we’re gonna open to a 3 flat 1 2 3 I put the right two flat one to up into our three fly again one two three up and Dry two flat one to and from there we’re ready to do the stretch up from the neck and then bring it back down so what we’re gonna do is we’re just gonna go up into the right from here to vertical one two and from that to vertical we’re Gonna go to the top block and add one to the right of it from there we’re gonna have to extend it up quite a bit we’re just gonna add to the top of the two vertical we’re gonna have one two three four five six seven eight nine Blocks so we’ll to this left strip and just add nine to the top one two three four five six seven eight nine and now what we can do is we can start working with the top of that strip to start going back down so we’re from the top We’re gonna skip the first one mmm sorry about that and we’re gonna go to the second block right here and to the right of it sorry I keep messing with the blocks to the right of it we’re just gonna add three going to the right one two three with Then I’m gonna start going underneath it to the right so just down to the right with our blocks just place your blocks underneath down it to write one single Devon it to the right two flat two times in a row one two that’s one one two that’s two down through our one single Again down into the right two flat five times in a row one two that’s one one two that’s two we need five more I mean three more to make five let’s go play some block one two that’s three 1 2 that’s 4 1 2 that’s 5 perfect so once we’re done with The shoulder we’re actually gonna do the face then the hair outline and then the detail part so I’m thinking it’s gonna be five to seven parts just because I don’t think I would ever do like an hour with this oh man I’m tired but what I am Gonna do is we’re gonna try and go from 15 minutes to maybe 20 or 30 on the later parts of the series anyways come here we’re gonna go down into the right three flat one two three down two right two singles one two down to throw two flat one to and from that Two flat what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna put another layer of two flat below it like so creating this weird brick and from weird brick what we’re gonna do is on the left side of it we’re gonna put five women I’m sorry not five three going to the left one two three Said ie equals five and to the right if it we’re gonna put two going to the right one two just like this now let’s work towards bringing this to the ground all we’re going to do for this next part is we’re going to go down into the right From this rightmost part two flat down into the right three flat one two three down let’s write two flat two times in a row one two one two down to throw 3 flat 3 times in a row one two three one two three one two three so this is starting To look good at least the shoulder frame is looking like it’s staying intact what do we have left on this little tangent part right here we have to just keep going down to right so first we’re going to go down into the right two flat one two Damn to write two singles one to down that’s right to flat again and as you can see we have the flats going on like we did on the left side it hasn’t transferred over to the verticals yet but once it does switch over to the verticals we’ll be at the home stretch And to start going towards the ground so we’re gonna go down into our three flat next play some block on the bottom or right side one two three down to our two flat one oops one two down it’s right two singles down it’s right – flat again One two and here’s where the transition comes over where it switches to verticals and we hopefully reach the ground with that all we’re gonna do is we’re gonna go down into the right to vertical down it’s very one single down it’s right to vertical three times in a Row 1 2 that’s 1 1 2 that’s 2 1 2 that’s 3 and for the little final stretch we have about so I’m gonna say 11 more blocks to place so what we’re gonna do is we’re going to look down into right two singles 1 2 down into the right to Vertical 1 2 down to thrive 3 vertical 1 2 3 down it’s way too vertical down to write one single down that’s right to vertical again one two and then finally sorry for the repetition but we are at a nice spot right now where we just finished up a Big chunk of it or at least a big chunk of the base we’re just gonna go down it to the right for vertical place and block underneath or to the right side one two three four all right so that’s perfect that’s
