PineleafNeedles – Minecraft Mage Rage November 2021: Map 4 Ep 1

Welcome back everyone to major age four november 2021 this is the start of week number four the final week before the release of 1.18 though i have no idea what it plans to do relating to 1.18 if he’s going to just ignore it for now or he’s going to do

Some updates or whatever because he’s doing a number of interesting things that he’s doing in there and there are quite a number of changes that are involved with 1.18 that are quite significant so let’s see how much oh i got three iron with that okay that’s how about

That iron one of the first things i got on this front how about that all right so let’s just grab a little bit of that but it would be nice to get some wood around here actually would be really nice is if i determined what i need to gather

So let’s see what we’ve got here we have got we have got a need for more room that’s what we’ve got here we go and right we need calcite all right i guess we could do that and okay calcite mushroom stem snow block blaze rod oh that’s a problem see

A 64 chains that’s lots of iron lava buckets i’ll need some iron a piston i’ll need some redstone redstone lamp probably a trip to the nether i guess and then a trapped chest the trapped chest should be rather easy to get i just have to remember not to use the trap

Just once i’ve gathered it because you know how i like to use chess all over the place actually this is east but i want to get a little bit more wood before i head on out this is the last week where we have the extended distances that are involved oh good grief

All right i did not see that where it went obviously well that was a bit of a waste now let’s head on out this way head on out to the north and maybe we’ll start to gather the items that we can get in the overworld if i understand this all correctly

The item that i’m going to be needing the most or should say the location being those would be a dark oak forest in order to get the mushrooms or the mushroom block everything else i think is probably going to be underground in the nether in the magic realm places like

That so not much searching above ground this week which is rather strange considering that the theme is far flung items but we’re not going to be going very far in the standard world based on this now it should also be able to find some things oh there’s a village over there i

Don’t know if there’s anything useful there i guess we might as well check that before we go too far along i think that there’s probably not going to be anything here that’s going to be useful to see well iron but do i have anything to trade for that not really so let’s

Head on around here and see what we’ve got maybe i could just keep in mind what’s here if necessary and come back later i don’t see much in the way of i just okay let’s see here no chest there best just to go on then pro not worrying about the village all that

Much oops sorry about that almost walked into the field that one has been polite new so let’s head on our way now i would like to find some more trees because right now i have 14 pieces of wood but i have feeling going to be needing a lot more than that

In this particular run now there’s a structure up ahead it looks like what is that exact oh that looks like another village is that another village i suppose it is all right oh hold on maybe not a welcome place to be definitely not now what is this supposed to be

Is this a set of ruins not to me that you get a lot of ruins that are above ground let’s see uh let’s see a fishing pole curse of vanishing well that’s not a particularly useful fishing pole i mean if it had any other enchantments

On it then i might be able to find utility for it before i died the question is how does that interact with with keith inventory since it’s since with keep inventory you keep all your stuff but with cursive vanishing it disappears my guess is that’s the only thing that will be lost

Look at the seas three is there anything useful i could get i’ll hold on to it for now if i have a feeling it’s not going to be all that useful in the long term so let’s get through here anyway with all these endermen in the area i suspect that

Trying to hold on to something with cursive vanishing is probably not going to be all that great now let’s see i need to get up to About negative 200 i would say so that’s just about where that birch is i guess somewhere in that region let’s see we can find well we could at least grab some logs while we’re over here and take care of that little bit let’s see we have well yeah we’ve got a little

Bit more to go before then so let’s let’s grab so it looks like this is going to take two uses of the spell let’s do this right and so it only takes two we don’t want to be taking more than that actually maybe i could do it in one and then this one

Yeah so i had to do the last one manually but oh uh that actually worked out perfectly not too often i managed that trick all right there you go not too bad get on over and let’s see let’s get out of this lagoon in see what we’ve got we have okay we are

Sticks first off i want x i want a pickaxe you’ll get a shovel and i think that’ll do for now and not won’t be able to get too much in the way of iron tools let me with all the cattle here i’ll just have to rev as much as i can

Now next week i have no idea whether ed is going to be able to upgrade us to 1.18 or if the next week we’ll just have to stay back in 1.17 because he does a number of things that might turn out to be incompatible with the new update

It’s a major update with the large number of changes so we don’t know what’s going to be happening oh this is ridiculous isn’t it all right i’ll just have to use the shovel and pickaxe and we’ll just have to get down this way let’s see we want to

Not gravel okay i guess dirt is what we’ll have to use and see ah i can see now good yes now let’s head on down find a nice area in which to take stock on everything and maybe Get our first time we did not find any mushroom mushrooms i suppose that if i go down into the water exploration thing i might be able to find a mushroom island that could be just as useful as a dark oak forest from the point of view of getting mushroom stems

Now let’s see about this and what all do i need this weekend trying to take stock my usual bit on taking stock on what’s available i am going to be needing cold at some point that’s for sure because i don’t have any of that yet so i have that little challenge up ahead

It looks like i’m going to have to try to get see i don’t need any copper this week so we don’t have to worry about that new copper there you go yeah but anyway there will be all sorts of changes to it such as mob spawning rules are going to change i

Keep on forgetting about that little one oh hello well that was not quite where i intended to put that all right all right let’s see let’s put this right over Here all right good ah now could i just see this put it put this right over here we could put a furnace over here very good and we need we have three irons so all we need for that are two planks okay good i guess i could start out with a lava bucket

That would be interesting now see normally i like to get a shield first but yeah it’s a lot of bucket i could get later on so let’s not worry about getting that yet oh trapped chest that’s what i want to get i would like to get a trapped chest that means

Well first off let us get our shield because that’s a tradition here on major age actually it’s a tradition whenever i play minecraft get a shield as soon as possible Good and we’ll put that there all right good now we’ve got a shield second thing i want to do is to get some oh that was some charcoal we could use some charcoal so get the acacia and oh let’s see one two three let’s just grab that word heavy let’s see how about

Can our two saplings good enough in order to get one piece of charcoal yes they are there we go so let’s just cook that up so we can have some charcoal that is of course my call my cole summoning spell because right the joke being of course that once i do that

And not absolutely need to find char well actually you do need to find coal in the wrong run because i’m gonna be needing a whole bunch of the stuff eventually i’m gonna have to go a lot lower if i’m going to get below the fish

I will want a whole lot of iron because i’m going to be needing 64 chains now that’s going to be something i’ll need almost 80 iron in order to do that because a chain is going to be iron plus 2 okay i’ll be essentially for each one’s gonna take oops one and two

Seventh iron ink gets to oh there there’s some coal see summon successfully summoned the the coal there it is a nice successful summing spell it’s nice when that works now let’s see good now i don’t see any iron around there because it would be nice to get

Some iron of course also because the iron in fact is the main thing that i need for this particular run we’re going to need let’s and luts and lots of iron and i don’t see any of it anywhere around here all right anything there anything there nope not at all all right well

So much with that plan but now that i’ve got coal 13 and i’ve got charcoal let’s see what do i need to do now i need to get oh yes i wanted to make stick i think it’s cobble as the third item uh all right

Oh well how about if i just look in the recipe book so i could get it right oh it’s wood not cobble all right silly me and that means that i need to get this up here this could give me a chest and a tripwire hook gets

Me a trapped chest and i have a trap chest and that is my first item for this run yay let’s see let me get all this calcite i’ll need to find that out at find that in an amethyst node probably the best place to find the name of this node is going to

Be where’s the best place to find emphasis probably the magic realm unless i’m very very lucky in finding one when i’m digging for iron so i might be lucky and just stumble onto one but the magic realm at least there’s a biome of those things though

Remember last week when i was trying to find a biome within the magic realm see then we have mushroom stems let’s still be looking for the dark oak forest or a mushroom island then snow blocks these mountains or that’s easy to find them if necessary in the magic realm blaze

Rods that means either a fortress or the magic realm i think it’s almost easier to find them in the fortress trump with the fortress is finding the fortress is the tougher bit there lots of iron a dash of redstone some glowstone so i am going to be

Needing to go to the nether i can’t think of any place elsewhere i’m going to so i probably go to the nether before i go to the magic realms that’s the magic realm will at least i mean the nether there could be a fortress right right next to wherever the glowstone is

But whatever’s the case that is the end of this episode i’ll see you next time when we are going to continue our search for for our mushroom island or such place we return to major age 4 november 2021
