RajCraft – Minecraft Shear Enchantment Guide

Well take this as seriously as possible so from this point on I am going to be ultra serious so Cheers the first thing to consider about shears is they’re not really expensive to make basically you can craft them you need to iron ingots to do it that’s not a huge

Amount and if you look at the durability of its 238 so that is not that much it’s 1/7 of something like a sword or a pickaxe so they break pretty easily basically and here are the enchantments you can do for the shears so there’s sort of a theme I realized about how

Things are enchanted in Minecraft or what things you can enchant something with a lot of times there’s the durability enchantment so things like I’m braking amending there’s obviously going to be the curse enchantments I don’t know that’s wrong okay that’s wrong anyways so there’s the curse enchantments that are out for every

Basically item and you avoid so basically there’s certain ACE enchantments that you expect on every single item the thing you don’t expect is that there’s something like efficiency 5 on shears so shears have efficiency 5 I don’t know what the point of that is but apparently if you really

Want to share your leaf super quick or you really want to share your sheep super quick efficiency 5 can do for you so I’m just gonna say that’s pointless unless I’m completely missing something at minecraft here but do you really need efficiency 5 on your shears

I mean if you really want to go quicker and you really like shears maybe I could see efficiency three but efficiency four and above for shears seems kind of ridiculous and how fast do you really need to shear sheep am I missing something here so the next two obviously makes sense obviously

Unbreaking amending you’re just trying to increase the durability of the item so obviously when you’re using unbreaking 3 basically with unbreaking it decreases the likelihood that your durability be used when you use that item so when you basically share something without the enchantment of unbreaking on it you’re going to get a

Hundred percent likelihood that your durability or will be reduced at unbreaking 3 because a shear is a tool it’ll be 25% so you’re basically extending the shear shears out for about 4 times so you’re four four times more durable of an item with unbreaking 3 versus not having that enchantment and

The next thing is mending so if you’re using mending on shears you must have a ridiculous amount of mending books or you’re just crazy and you need to be committed because why would you put many books on shears they’re not that valuable it only takes two iron ingots to make shears so I

Don’t know why you would want to commend anon your shears but you can if you want to if you’re crazy and you want something ridiculous you can put mending on your shears so even though I’m making fun of the value of this compared to shears if you’re not familiar with

Mending basically if you get one XP it restores the durability by two so as you can see here the durability is 238 for shears so it’s not a huge number so you’re likely to really go through the durability super quick but you can extend that with mending

Although why would you put mending on your shoes but you can you can if you want you’d be crazy but you can so the last thing to avoid is cursive vanishing cursive vanishing obviously if you die those shears your valuable super and enchanted efficiency 5 mending shears

Could disappear so you obviously want to avoid having curser vanishing basically just watch out what is it in your books that you’re gonna enchant your items with so make sure that you don’t have cursive vanishing on it because as soon as you get that cursor vanish gone you

Can’t remove it via grindstone or anyway you’re basically stuck with it and as soon as you die that item is gone so I hope that was helpful I hope that was an amazing shear video about enchantments that you never expected but you totally wanted yeah and I expect
