Rick Clark – Minecraft Mage Rage March 2022 Week 3 Episode 1

Hello everybody and welcome to mage rage this is march 2022 this is week number three i think yeah so i thought i’d give this a another shot last week it didn’t turn out too great but you know we’ll see how it goes this week so i’m kind of following this rule or i’m

Only going to do uh two episodes and if it’s if i can’t do it in two episodes then i’m not going to i’m not going to drag it on longer than that so yeah so it’s going to be it’ll be two episodes that’s sort of my time limit that i’m

Giving myself for for these uh for these epis uh for major aids so uh each episode is 30 minutes so that’s an hour i think uh i think that’s plenty enough time if i can’t do it in an hour then then it there’s no point in me even trying

You know i need to be doing this in a lot less than an hour but i have some coffee and uh yeah so let’s uh let’s see what we’re looking at this week of course i’ve already set my spells i didn’t go through that i’m not

I’m not going to go through the part where me picking the spells because i pick the same spells every week and you know what they are so uh if you’ve watched any of these videos at least you know what they are so yeah oh boy okay so we’ve got tube coral so we’re

Going to need to find out more motion uh a magma block which we can get in in the ocean as well cracked nether brick now so that’s gonna be we’re definitely gonna have to go to the the nether for that i think i don’t think there’s any way to get

That in the overworld lime dye okay so that’s green so we’re gonna need to find a uh uh well we can get that out of the ocean too a uh what’s it called the little uh oh you know the little pickles see pickles they give you lime green uh melon seeds

Okay so maybe we can find a uh either a jungle or a jungle or a village maybe we might be able to get it out of a village actually you know what uh if i’m looking there’s a savannah right there uh these are in savannah villages so if we

Can find the village we can get a pumpkin or a melon from that easy enough and of course glowstone would definitely have to go to the the nether unless we can find a ruined portal uh although i don’t know if we get glowstone out of our room portal or not

I know you can get sea lanterns yeah whatever we’re going to end up going to the nether so we’re going to have to uh build a cells a portal find some lava build ourselves a portal yeah but i’ve got telekinesis and i’ve got water so that that’s not even an issue

Ah and lapis lazuli okay so we need to go underground a little bit alrighty so let’s let’s do our do our thing here and last week if you watched last week i discovered a good way to kind of deal with these zombies hit him with the lava and see

I saw some stone yeah hit him with lava melee lava and then just whack him a good one with the uh with the axe with an x so yeah that that seemed to work out really well so that’s that dragon i might be using that technique here

To deal with these one-shot zombies that we have this month as usual we’re just going to build our tools here it’s funny i was watching watching my buddy bet hart play last week and we he was talking about this the tools that he rarely ever uses them right

He makes the tools but he doesn’t really use them and he’s wondering if he should but then of course almost immediately after he said that he ended up using his like axe to cut to drop down the uh the uh crafting bench and he ended up using his tools quite a bit

Actually so yeah you don’t think you really use them much you know it seems like well we have our all of our spells right we’ve got mining or telekinesis or whatever you know whatever it is uh but surprisingly enough oh you know i need i definitely need to uh make a furnace

Actually do i need a furnace this time actually i may not even need a furnace i don’t know if we’re gonna cook anything up oh that that dragon’s so loud uh does this go anywhere no it doesn’t all right oh right there oh there’s an ocean right there nice it’s a

I don’t think that’s a warm ocean it’s probably lukewarm but uh it is pressing the wrong button here ah oh i forgot about that 38 mossy cobble definitely need to find a village but you know the the savannah villages though they’re not i don’t know if they’re gonna have mossy cobble in them

The the villages in the um in the plane stew some of them yeah and we need some flint okay that’s not not too bad of it too bad of an issue let’s uh see what we got over here in this ocean since we’re here need sea pickles need tube coral

Magma block if we can see one all right there looks like that’s a warm motion right there uh stew our water water of course gives you water breathing so the water spill i should say gives you water breathing seemed like there was a more motion over here i thought i saw

Yeah yeah here it is right here okay tube coral uh i think it’s this one right here isn’t it or is it come on get up on top well why isn’t that i can’t get on top of this thing there we go that was weird tube coral nice i don’t remember where

It went uh see pickle there we go yeah we are going to have to uh to smelt up that sea pickle uh let’s go water i think that’s it those dumb uh oh there’s a village right there perfect those dumb uh endermen they always stand on top of

Those things of course they’re under water so they’re actually standing in the water and uh yeah that’s kind of stupid let’s uh blink our way over here uh we need to get up yeah see these savannah villages don’t i don’t think they even have any mossy

Oh there’s a dragon oh i must have been down there okay oh there’s bread that’s that’s a good one let me have some coffee here a compass i’m going to take that that way we can uh go back to spawn and we can use our uh use our crystal for something something else

All right i know they have so the question is whether i know they’ve had melons here oh excuse me i’m sorry i know they’ve had melons there they are right there oh i’ll tell you so okay there’s that uh we got some food i think that’s about all i needed here

Yeah i’m not going to get any any uh mossy cobble here because this is all just uh terra cotta stuff let okay let let’s let’s do this real quick what do we have here let’s okay that’s there ah that’s down there so we got the bottom row almost done actually

Yeah there we go bottom row almost done nice what do we got in here uh not that much i actually don’t need that anymore okay let’s make some food that should be good and i’ll keep the melons too all right let’s switch to lava so i hear the guy somewhere there he is

That’s oh he didn’t catch on fire oh there he goes yeah that works pretty good okay so what is okay what are we looking at here let me i should probably write all these down so i just have it there okay so definitely need to go to another a jungle or some

Someplace with vines uh oh gravel yeah should be able to find some gravel just right around somewhere here shouldn’t be too difficult to to find look at that isn’t that pretty look at that over there i love the the update the ocean updates was my favorite update out of all the others

I love the the warm ocean gravel yep these little baby zombies see well you can’t even hit him either it’s just crazy how those things i’ll tell you man people that’s the biggest complaint when they change the baby zombies that was the worst change ever because you just can’t hit them

You know you can’t there’s no way they move around too quick their hitboxes is too wonky they’re really hard to hit do i need any iron for anything i don’t think i do actually let’s uh go water some gravel where’s all the gravel at there we go come on get down

That’s one thing nice about uh there we go uh one thing nice about uh the update oh there’s a drone one thing nice about the update that ed did on this is when you move off your spell the effect remains for a few seconds so yeah it’s very handy

I’m wondering if maybe i can see a magma block or two oh you know what i’m i’m not in the ocean though that’s uh but you know i got to go to the nether anyway so it really doesn’t matter i guess i got to get glowstone

Now i i don’t even know how you make cracked uh the cracked uh netherrack cracked another brick i mean do you cook it i’m not sure i’ll have to look it up so that means we’re gonna uh well we don’t know we don’t need to find

A fortress we can make nether brick from mother netherrack so that’s not really that that big an issue okay i need to find some lapis actually let me go back to the spawn okay here’s spawn right here so really not right there’s where we were so we were like right next to spawn

Uh definitely need to go to the nether but i want to try to find a try to find oh i can’t no what if i can find a jungle here somewhere relatively close by ah darn it there’s a meadow over there what’s that over there uh

All right let’s go to our water spill i need to get some vines i picked up something this is just maybe a regular old forest over here now in bedrock edition vines grow in the forest you can get them in the forest which is pretty nice

Oh you know what i should have got that yeah that’s a regular forest i should have got that iron uh shears would definitely be a good thing to have here let’s let’s head back over there kind of kind of going back and forth here i saw that i saw that iron over here

Wasn’t oh there’s gravel right there i didn’t even have to go under the water uh let’s see telekinesis now where was that iron i saw it here somewhere these rocky outcrops are really nice to uh really nice to look for iron in where’d it go really nice for iron and uh coal that

Kind of thing and that little uh challenge i was doing for uh whoever can make the portal the fastest you know the spiders are so cheaty you can’t you can’t uh hit them before they hit you yeah i mean the hitboxes on some of these creatures are just terrible

Now where was that iron i did see it i think i just saw it over there uh yeah doing that you know into the nether challenge thing that i was doing that hard did it as well he did a few of them uh these little outcrops were perfect for trying to find uh

Iron and stuff well it looks like there’s only one there yeah unfortunately oh man i got a bunch of junk here so that goes there uh let’s see get rid of that i need no i don’t need that don’t need bones keep that i need to find one more iron don’t need

The gravel uh okay you know i lost my uh oh shoot i lost my uh crafting bench there we go okey dokey so we got the bottom row done one on the top all right let’s uh i need to oh there’s pumpkins up there i need to do a little bit of traveling

Here see if i can find a jungle i should be wonder here’s we’ve got the savannah so jungle can’t be too far away i wouldn’t think look for a cave man i don’t see one though because we’re getting into meadow go away i don’t need you death hole there man

These mountains are an absolute pain yeah you know i don’t i don’t play uh i don’t play 118 vanilla i just don’t like it oh there’s a there it is right there right there knew it had to be here relatively close okay i need to find

Another one more piece of iron that’s it i mean i can use the pick it’s gonna be a little slow though i thought if i could find some get another little piece of iron i wish you could make shears out of copper you should be able to you know it

That should be something that you could do i mean the pick’s going to take a while i could do it though there should be some copper here somewhere i mean uh iron here somewhere let’s go here i just need one little piece one little piece of iron to need a bunch more cobble

It’s kind of bound to be a little piece of iron over here somewhere there we go alrighty this will just speed things up a little bit even though we’re taking a little bit of time to actually make them i could use the pick but the pick is

Really slow and we need 38 right yeah 38 of those boogers so that’s uh oh i didn’t want the dirt how much do i have i don’t even have enough cobble oh found the cave man sort of a cave not really much one whoops didn’t put enough in there

I had all this coal i don’t know why i’m using the sticks okay all righty that’ll speed things up a little bit all right so i need to go over in that direction there’s some right there look at that you can see him over would this be closer over here might be

Trying to get these mountains you know they’re spectacular looking that’s the thing about 118. it looks pretty you know there’s no doubt about it but gameplay-wise it’s horrible absolutely horrible i know i know i’m in a minority on that opinion but yeah i just i’ve said it before i don’t like 118.

I don’t like the update i don’t like the caves you know they wanted to make it more challenging and interesting but really it just ends up being frustrating So one thing about the i’ve made this remark before i started in minecraft in 1.2.5 so it’s been a while ago and uh one thing uh one thing that was really for one thing you know back then your biomes were there really wasn’t any sort of rhyme or reason to the biomes which

Meant that you could you know you could find the biome wherever and the world that i my original world that i played on Had like all of the biomes within spitting distance of uh of spawn and uh which was you know really convenient to be honest i had some really interesting terrain there was a couple places underneath where you could get into where it had a ravine combination of ravine and oh that’s more than enough

Combination of ravine and what do you call it the um 38 the mine in it and i don’t know it was just really interesting and the caves when when you got into a cave back then the the cave literally they literally went forever uh they just went everywhere

And you know it would just be 1k would lead into another game i literally had i would get into a cave system and spawn and it would literally leave all the way out into uh you know underneath the desert i just went on forever and it was just really really amazing

You don’t have that anymore you know you don’t have that anymore in the new in the new system so it’s really uh yeah i kind of miss the old generation to be honest i enjoyed it much more even though it was wasn’t quote realistic or anything i i thought it was

A lot a lot more fun to play in it but you know that’s just me and old geezer so okay so there we go that’s episode one doing pretty good uh i think we got most of our overworld except for the lapis lazuli but i need to find a uh

I need to find a lava pool or i just need to use the lava water and lava make myself a portal and uh yeah i need to go over to the nether so i appreciate it and i’ll see in the next one bye-bye now hello
