Here we go hello and welcome to my first ever video posted on my channel um i know i’ve done streams in the past but um this is my like first channel uh so you know not my first channel my first video um like properly edited on share factory Which is a really good um way of editing on the playstation like if you want to like create videos and stuff you can you should consider uh getting it um so yeah this is my first time making like a proper video like we’re a proper editing system um And yeah so uh this video is gonna be me ranking my top 10 favorite battle maps it’s going to be my personal opinion uh so yeah it’s not like gonna be the video for everyone but it’s gonna be the first video for me and this is what i wanna do so yeah Um if you like the video uh it’ll be good if you subscribe to my channel and also like the video um and do a comment saying you like like and subscribe and i’ll consider comment you back so let’s go on to number 10. so number 10 we have crucible now uh Crucible was one of the original the three original maps that was like on the uh that was where that’s when battle was first released it was one of the three original maps that were free um along with like cavan and cove which we may or may not talk about later on the video Like they may or may not be in the next rankings you don’t know that yet but we’ll see eventually so crucible um i re so let’s talk about the design element first the design of crucible definitely one of the best uh probably like top uh say nine or eight like nine or ten Probably eight eight to ten maybe um it’s like custom build of like a never fortress it’s really cool it’d be really awesome if like this or like something similar to this was in the actual like minecraft game like in the survival world or something like that Um yeah and how you got like the cages as like your spawn points at the start of the game that’s really that’s like a really neat element um and how you’ve like also um got like larv like under like the red fog of the never in the lava and fire everywhere Yeah so really cool um uh all right what else oh yeah um so more all right that’s kind of it for the the design element of the map so um no now we’ll talk about the gameplay and the gameplay of it so the top of the map Is designed well how you got like all these different ways you can go and then you’ve got the four towers in the corners middle section is um it’s okay and then the bottom section is what makes it worse is because the stepping stones of lava and cobblestone For me makes it bad because i don’t really like that way of like how it works i give this about a six out of ten um yeah so yeah i think that’s everything we can say about crucible this is actually a few people’s favorites but i don’t really know why Okay let’s move on so at number nine is halloween the thing the good thing about halloween is that um i really like the map layout it looks good um it’s a cut it’s a bit messy so that’s like why it’s um at this spot and not like higher But i must admit it’s one of my favorite maps and you don’t even need to play at halloween you can play at any time of the year and still have a really good time so with uh this map um there are four like at the start of the Game there are four like main ways you can go you can go towards the ferris wheel which i’m doing right now in this clip you could go the opposite direction and go to the fun house with the massive clown on the roof or you could go to the left or right Side where there are buildings uh and the other side is like this massive like i think it’s some like a massive mushroom thing uh as you can see i’m going to the fun house right now um and what’s uh cool about the map as well is that With all the ways you go there’s also extra ways you can go after that so there’s lots of like different ways you can go around the map which is uh really cool um so yeah that’s why it’s higher it’s so this is why i think it’s better than crucible in my opinion Um the thing that lets crucible down and why it’s one lower it’s because of like i said before of the stepping stone of the la and the lava on the bottom level uh what puts this higher is that it’s also got lava like at the at its Like most bottom layer but it’s only around the spawn menu and it’s it’s um it’s kind of easy to fall in but not as not nowhere near as much as it is easy to fall in the lava as crucible and like i said before the reason why i don’t really Like falling in lava in uh video games or like in minecraft is because it’s like it’s just useless like it was just a like a small mistake and it could ruin your whole like game out of 10 i would probably give this map oh i probably give this map about Six and a half again like crucible so i’ll say crucible was a six and this would just like this would be like a six and a half to a seven i’d say six and a half though um uh let’s see so more about the snap i really like The halloween i really like the halloween texture pack um it get the the armor is quite confusing but that’s with a lot of maps that have like custom texture packs um the weapons are simple with like the texture pack and normally um with all the maps i prefer The more simple uh texture packs rather than like um like the ones like this like the custom ones but it’s still like really good so enough talking about halloween let’s move on to to um our eighth spot so on to number eight we have lair Um lair has got one of the best design elements i have all 21 battle maps in my opinion i’d probably put it like top five or six um and that’s mainly due to the massive fossil like right in front of me on the screen of like a dinosaur i’m pretty sure it’s A dinosaur um because it’s just it really um it kind of like explains like how the map works well not like how it works like it gives an idea of what the map will be like a bit like how like people will probably die in lava a lot Um and because like there’s lava like all around the maps it’s like lava dripping down over in the center and stuff but we’ll talk like properly about the uh design element right now so uh like i said the massive fossil around the map of the dinosaur i’m gonna say it’s a Dinosaur if it’s a dragon or something else then that’s my bad um but so yeah it’s a map the massive fossil the dinosaur or like all along the walls um all on all along the walls on one side of the map very very clever idea I really like the fire and the lava all across the map i really like how the whole map is set in like this massive cave uh what else um and um or i also like how there’s like gems everywhere of like diamonds and emeralds and there’s also like some Lapis in there thrown into thrown in there too that’s really neat i really like the building the opposite side of the fossil um because it’s kind of simple but it’s also like it’s i i really like it um i really like also all the lights are on The map uh not like including the fire and lava but like how you got all the redstone lamps and the glowstone and then you’ve also got um some like torches around the map like mainly on the fossil so that’s really cool um but probably my favorite part about the design Element of the map is actually the center um actually well excluding the fossil because like i said the fossil was great that’s definitely my favorite thing about the map one of the best design elements of all the battle maps um but my second favorite part Of the of the design element of this map is the very center because very very center of the map is where the chests are like like how that every battle battle map is which you can easily see from any point in the map around that uh surrounded by that as sand And you got a few like lapis blocks and glowstone blocks placed in there and then around that it’s like a lava um so yeah around that uh thing is like lava um that’s three uh that’s actually three maps in a row where there’s been like lava around that doesn’t that doesn’t Mean it’s bad that like shows how it is so yeah that’s uh everything i need to say about the the design element in the map the reason why it’s higher than um halloween is because um of its design and uh yes because of its design but the gameplay of lair is actually It’s better than cruisable but in my opinion i actually think it’s a tiny bit worse than halloween but the design element pushes it higher than halloween uh just because it’s like it’s like the like i said the design element like how you hit a lever and all them like gem blocks come up Really clever idea um and that actually links for the gameplay part of it um how like it’s risky to do that because people will also go there because that chest is like one of the three like good like chess with a good great with the greatest loot so a lot Lots of people want to go there because like that’s because everybody really knows about that but it’s risky because if you hit the lever then go for it then another person might hit the lever and if you don’t have a fire resistant potions your toast literally So yeah so that’s just one example um the chest around the map um are about i’d say about 50 of them are kind of unknown like quite hidden um but there’s some there’s some chests which are really obvious um but that but that’s like a nice spread of the chest because It’s good to have some chests that most like most if not all people will know and then some chests that only that the professionals would know about that are like the good chests um also what’s good about this map is that like it’s three good chests Is that like one or two of them are like well known and then the other one or two of them are like not really known like a hidden uh out of ten i’d probably give this map about a seven oh that’s i’ll probably give it ah i’ll say like a seven point Seven five maybe like so oh oh i should probably a bit lower than that i don’t know around seven point seven i’d say so yeah let’s move on so number seven we have siege now the reason why siege is at number seven is because i’ve always had a love for this map And there’s one main reason why so the main reason why is because with siege it’s more like two like maps put together but like short likes like shortened a bit um so on one side you’ve got like this grass area with like these weird like tents and then you got Like all these like component stuff and like cranes and stuff um and like they’re like medivh medieval times um so that’s quite neat and then on the other side you’ve got like like this town area like inside the castle because like there’s a there’s a castle wall like in between The uh both sides of the map um so and then yeah so when that’s on so like on this side which i can see right now which you can see right now is like um so like a town area inside the castle i personally um so sorry about that so what’s unique about Both maps uh both sides of the map is that they have like different gameplay elements so on the side with the grass um it’s uh i’d say it’s more it’s so on both sides it’s like kind of the equal it’s kind of equal with like how you can See people but what’s unique about the grass one is that you have to like um maneuver a lot more because it’s like all this like stuff in the way and like how you have to jump and lot a lot how you like have to jump a lot as well This is like different layers of like grass and dirt and then you’ve got all these like woods like stuff and then you’ve got all the mini buildings and stuff yeah so that’s what’s like unique to that but it’s kind of the opposite for the town area um inside the castle because like it’s Kind of easy to get around um i’d say like except from like the random bits of water and then what’s there’s like two main unique things about the town area like the inside um and that is um that it’s got a sewer section in it like underneath the map which also Connects to the other side of the castle wall underneath it which connects the back to the grass area um and then you’ve also got like like a castle wall like around that around the map which you can like run on to like get to enemies and see enemies better So i’d say if if somebody was more brave they’d probably go to the uh like the town area inside the castle but if somebody just wanted to like wait to the end of the game like maybe kill the last person or something not really worrying about the Kills they’d probably go to like the grass area um so the reason why it’s better than the three maps we’ve already talked about um is because of its design i really like the design of the design of this map um definitely the way the map is for gameplay because Like there’s lots of like ways you can walk around um like lots of and you could easily lose enemies in this map like you could see him you go to a room and then they just vanish because they be like turn the other way or like if like they’re in the town Section they like somehow get to the top or go to the bottom in the sewer um so yeah there’s lots of strategies strategies you can use with this map to really like use your best pvp or pvp skills to probably win the game the reason why It’s not as good as the other maps the six that are coming after this is because um even though i said i’ve always had a love for this map um the maps after it are just better like with like how they are but i like i’ll talk more about that When i do so even though i’m i’m actually sad that this is only at seven i think it should have been higher but it just like i really couldn’t because of like how well the other maps are but i’m not saying that this one’s bad because this one is great I really like this map it used to be my fifth favorite but after really like thinking about thinking about it this time this is definitely like up there with um with like the gameplay and the map design and there so definitely better than lair and just Better than this then the map which is after this um so yeah um out of 10 i’d give this about a seven and a half so a big leap higher than the previous map so let’s go straight on to number six moving on to number six we have temple now What’s weird about this map first of all is that um it’s a unique map but the reason why it’s unique is because it’s not unique um so what i mean by that is the map is um actually simple uh like in my opinion it’s it’s really cool Um but it’s like kind of simple with the way like it’s um presented um so like you got the massive uh temple in the center of the map where like the place start and then you got that like chest in the very center of the um and of the temple With the beacon through um that’s like very like that’s a very neat design um and um and so and actually think so the inside of the temple uh its design is like pretty good but the outside of the temple actually in my opinion isn’t like nowhere like it doesn’t really live up to Its like potential of what it could have been with the design of the outside which actually is one of the reasons why it’s not high on the list um that’s that doesn’t mean it’s bad it’s still a very good like temple but a prop like or any regular Builder could have probably built the outside design of the temple but probably not the inside because there’s something with um the best designs of all the battle maps like all the mini games in in general um that really show like how well the minecraft like producers can build So um like enough of the temple i know it’s called temple but enough for the temple uh let’s now talk about uh outside of the temple so there’s fire pits all around the map um which is like really like cool i know it’s not really like it’s not cool but it is because They sell it like with this map and lots of other maps they have certain design elements that they did not need to include like nobody would really notice them but they did they did include them because that just goes to show how much like hard work they put into these maps And they probably like for this map they probably put in that extra stuff that people realize to like maybe like think that this that that this map wasn’t as simple as they thought it would be even though like some people like missed the small design elements even i miss Them sometimes but that’s only when i’m concentrating uh one of the things that also makes this map very good and very unique is how its border is all made up of jungle trees now i really like that design in my opinion i think it’s like really really cool really unique Um and then what else can we say oh yeah the chest so the chests around the map um some of them are headed well actually most of them are hidden well um which actually is a bit bad for the new players because they won’t really know where to find the chess but for The but for the players who know this map they probably know where like all the chess would be or like most of them um they like if it’s even hard for the players who know this map to even find the like the chess with the best loot Um because if you didn’t know in every single map um well it is every in every single small map there’s like two chests with the best loop in every single large map which is the one i’m like which is the main version which i play with like this map right here Um it has three like chess with the best loot um so i think that’s enough talking about temple out of ten i give it about seven point seven and a half um so a bit so like higher than siege by a bit um higher better than uh the Best because it’s it’s it’s simple design is great all right moving on to now number five so number five we have kevin now calvin is the second map on this list which is part of the three um maps that were in the first ever like Uh map it wasn’t really a map pack it was like the first three maps that were free to players um the only three that you don’t have to buy to play um what is really good about cavern is that ever since it ever since the battle minigame was released where um Kevin cove and crucible the three c’s like the first three um maps uh the first few like main maps of the game uh were released but that they were all popular and kevin uh definitely was um was uh one of the ones that was high then I actually think so cove was the most popular and then it was then it was kevin and then it was crucible um so uh yeah so what so let’s talk about the map of kevin so what’s like the design of cavern is absolutely phenomenal i love it How it’s like a like a massive cavern inside like a cave like where there’s just a hole in the map and like in the top you could imagine just like looking down and seeing all of that but it’s really great um i really like um the stepping stones with The water at the bottom of the map much better than the stepping stones up on about with crucible because um it’s less even though it’s less stones than there was in cruiser ball it’s water instead of lava and what what the great thing about water is that it it’s um It’s not as punishing as it is when you fall into laven crucible because falling into water just means that you get a loss of a a bit of a loss of a speed boost or like something like that so much much better than the lava stepping stones on crucible Um well this map is cur and then all right actually no so um all around the map like on the middle section there’s this massive ring which you can run around and get like a good view of the map like definitely down below um and then the top part of the map is Like this massive ring like where you get like um the best chests and the third uh good chest on the big map i actually don’t know where it is um but yeah so that’s yeah so that’s that uh out of ten i’d probably give this map At eight maybe a bit higher than eight actually but yeah because it’s like really it’s really good um so yeah i don’t really think there’s anything else to say about kevin because like lots of people know kevin so uh yeah let’s move straight on to our fourth spot At number four we have castle now castle is like temple simple uh a little bit like it’s a bit more filled with design than temple but still like quite simple um castle is a really a good map not only for its design for its gameplay it’s one of the best maps for gameplay Um where in so when you start in castle after you like get go to center to get your chests um there’s lots of routes which you can go there’s about i’d say about eight to ten so there’s lots of like um there’s lots of like choice of where to Go at the start of the map because they can like look like new players will look around and be like oh i’m gonna go this way oh no i’m gonna go this way and then like even by the end of the match even if it’s like a few minutes even if it’s like Still like five minutes long i bet like a new player wouldn’t even get to see i like the whole map they probably have to play a few games to like see it and then get an idea of like where where all like the chests are or like most of them and Where the good where the good chests are and stuff like that um this chair this sorry no this map has something very unique with um it’s two um with its two chests to have the best loot is that you actually have to do like you have to pull like some secret Leaves and stuff like i just did so like one of them there’s a lever on the other side of the on behind the armor stand on either side of the the back of this room which you have to hit in there and that then that will open A part of that massive door then then you can get that chest and then the other one is actually on that fountain like the one i’m like going to right now and off and you actually have to like hit that pressure plate and then like i think also maybe you Have to like hit some redstone lamps to get that open and then you can get another good chest and then the other one was on that chandelier which i went on uh it’s that hasn’t actually got like a secret way to get to it but it’s like Not really like you wouldn’t see it because nobody really looks up into that room like they don’t just like look up obviously um uh castle it’s better than the previous maps because um this map gets voted a lot and def i can definitely see why um it’s so it’s gameplay of it um Like i said before how you can go at different ways um it’s kind of it’s kind of hard to lose people like if like when they keep running around um because you’ll chase them for a few minutes or like maybe like a like 30 seconds and then as soon as you think you’re Gonna like strike him and kill him they’ve disappeared into thin air the amount of times that’s happened to me on this map is crazy um but that’s just how this map is because it’s like it’s just yes how it is because it’s like a massive maze pretty much um with um The rooms and like the outside section in the middle of the map there’s lots of open space so you can like really see where your enemies are as like you can like easily go to kill them or you could have like a like a bow battle or something like that Um so yeah that’s so like this like unique unique uh unique teaser probably not anyway so there’s lots of like unique parts with that uh and the design element um i think is spot on for this map it’s not overdone it’s not under done it’s just perfect so the gameplay and design eliminates Map is absolutely great but the reason it’s at number four are not higher is because the freemaps i’m about to say is like are are free of my like god maps of like how well i play them and how well that i love them so let’s talk about the third one now Uh which we’re gonna go into right now so let’s see what number three is so at number three we’re getting vincent into some really good territory here with some maps we have shrunk now shrunk is probably like most people’s favorites um probably main definitely because of the design the design element of shrunk Is probably the best design out of any map in out of all 21 maps um so that definitely gives it a big boost in rankings um and and why it’s number three um so yeah so with the design you’ve got so many elements to it that didn’t that Like the dev that the developers didn’t have to include but they did because it’s like some extra like content in there to make it like more lovable um and that’s why it’s probably the most loved map out of any of them in the whole game um uh even like like the roof right There how you got you wouldn’t like nobody would look would look up like that unless like like they’re doing what i’m doing and just see them lights um and like that massive fan on the roof like that’s such a cool design element and they didn’t have to add that but they did Which is great um because they’re like they’re really good at doing that um yes so there’s just all these hidden secrets around the map which are really cool and that one of the best is that it’s like the wither under the bed they’re kind of like a reference like a Monster under the bed like everyone knows about that um so yeah that’s that’s a really cool element to that and how you got like a crafting table added in there like that’s really cool and then like uh like a diamond sword on the top of the crafting table leading towards the bed And it was such a clever idea to have the spawn point and the main fighting point of the map on on like the on top of the bed like in the middle of the bed uh i think that was really cool and then you got the shelf there like with lots Of trophies and stuff you got like a toy shelf you’ve got like coats got a bear there a guitar a lamp it’s and you’ve even got like the battle symbol there on the wall um and you got like a blaze painting and the pig and an ocelot it’s The design element of this definitely tops like any other map by far it’s crazy definite i can definitely see why people like this map design now uh on to the gameplay of it not as nowhere not nowhere near as good as the um design but still not as good because it’s messy because Uh when you have like when you have a lot of something that then the other thing definitely won’t be as good nearly as good as it and that’s that’s to do with the gameplay and um the gameplay and the uh design with this map because like i said The design is absolutely brilliant and the gameplay kind of lets hard to like tell where the chests are it’s kind of hard to tell like where your enemies are um yeah it’s really hard to see that it’s unless like unless you’re on the bed because on the bed you can clearly see people Unless you’re like on the bottom floor and you can’t see them because you can’t like see through blocks unless they’re like on the side of the bed um and there’s fights happening all over the map um because of like how big it is and stuff um So yeah um i probably give this map about a nine out of ten and yeah so let’s move on to our second spot at number two is cove now um other than shrunk seen as like not that many people have bought like all of the maps cove Is the option to pick and the option that is picked uh most if not all of the time because cove is such a great and lovable map and it always has been and that’s because of these reasons first of all we’re going to talk about the design element again so um Pirate theme in minecraft is absolutely brilliant like i love like the theme of pirates um i know like stuff like yeah stuff like pirates and stuff like and like the sea and um like uh like pirate ships and everything to do with pirates basically i love that theme and that’s one of the Reasons why this is at my second spot um this has always been one of my favorites and it always has been and i’ve never ever stopped liking this map and i’ve never ever said no i don’t want to do this map unless it’s my number one spot Which you will get to see soon um so yeah the design the designer limit the map how you’ve got like the massive skull in the in the top corner of the map like which which is probably the most famous or not famous but but the most well-known part of the whole map You’ve got all like a water everywhere and how it’s like all these beaches and then you got like i can see here during this fight you got like all these emeralds or the emerald or in the in the walls of this like with the stone and the caves Um i’ve got like like ships and all this like wood buildings all along the walls and stuff it’s it’s great and then the gameplay element of it is even better because you’ve got all these ways you can go uh and every single person in the game goes to a different spot because each Person has like a way like a different way and that you don’t really get that with many maps but with this one it you do you get a lot of variety of where you want to go um you could go up high you can stay on the ground you Can go underwater and find some secret chests or you could go to the skov or like to the good chefs um yeah so really really good map out of 10 i give it a 9. 9.5 um and it’s one of the best maps of it’s one of the best multiplayer maps Of any multiplayer game ever so now it’s time for the for the number one spot and this is frontier this is why frontier is my all-time favorite battle map and why it’s always been my all-time favorite battle map the main reason why is because of the gameplay The gameplay i’m actually going to talk about the gameplay first this time um because that’s how special this map is to me i absolutely adore this map so it’s gameplay of it is just it’s absolutely phenomenal the amount of like ways you can go in this in like this western town Um you can jump on buildings like you’re doing movies you can like go in the buildings like there’s like a massive train on one side of the map which actually links to how the fossil works in lair how it’s like mad this massive thing on one like side of the map You’ve got um you got like all you got the mesa biome style with like this like um how you got this really cool um like frontier town in it and uh yeah i just it just works the gameplay is absolutely incredible i don’t think it could be any better the gameplay like and You’ve got and what’s really good is that it’s not only just the sand part like on the ground where like you start you’ve got different layers of like the mesa biome with the sand that can go on to different spots which you can get to higher buildings and then lower buildings You’ve got um like the rails like um covering like one half of like the box of the of the um the map i’m it’s one of the only maps that its border has um at least like most of it has like a dropping edge so it’s on like a massive canyon What the canyons is around it so if you fall down there you obviously die um and yeah it’s just so cool um how you like easily knock people off when they’re like at chess looking through it um like as like as a surprise element so that has a really good gameplay style um And then you’ve also got like the space underneath with the with the mining tunnels with all the gems and stuff uh all right now i’ll start talking about the design element of it um both the design and the gameplay element is why it’s at number one it’s phenomenal Like so the design element of the map is just great because the style of like uh cowboys like frontier like i like this kind of town works absolutely incredibly in minecraft because like especially how the spruce wood works with like uh with a key a i can’t pronounce this wood it’s a seer I pronounce the ac i think it’s wrong though it’s like the um it’s like the yeah the wood that you see on the left right there um yeah so that type of wood and the spruce wood works absolutely great together um and then you’ve also got like some Birch there like with a build tower on the right um and uh it’s great and how you got like the mesa mountains and even like like regular sound ones over there just like for it’s like uniquity you uniquity of like how like where it is and then um And then the chests uh the chats are about like i’ll say medium level on like how hard you can find them um so it’s quite easy like some are easy some are hard and then the three um the three chests with the best loot are one of them’s on the track one of Them is the one i just went to like to that side of the mat like to the right side in that corner and then the final one is in inside the train at the very back so um it’s the so the chest with the best loot Uh aren’t as hidden as i wish they would be so that’s like one of the flaws about this map but that doesn’t mean it’s bad at all i like like i love this map so much it’s it’s definitely my favorite and and the design of the train um like It’s the design of that train is really really good the buildings are built perfectly um and the colors of the whole map and then the mines underneath i don’t actually have down there that gamepl um but they still look incredible and how you got like some drops in them and how you got You could set off traps to set off tnt and this map is uh it’s just i could go i could talk about this map but ages and ages but um i don’t actually think there’s anything else i need to say about this map but except from it’s one of my Um it’s one of my most favorite uh maps for any multiplayer game mode uh of everything i’ve played because it’s incredibly it’s just so great i love it and i’m proud to say that frontier is at my number one spot you probably would have already got that already Because if you’ve been watching the streams um like with my friends and stuff because i’ve mentioned it a few times with all my friends like when we’ve been playing battle because i remember like one of my friends luke he said about um he said oh i
