What’s going on everyone it’s Smitty back with another video hope you’ve been doing fantastic so we’ve all had a few days now to test out this new deferred lighting shaders that are supported on Minecraft preview on Xbox Android and computer so I thought I’d make a short little video here just showcasing five Different shaders that you can use in your game to improve your experience and while I’m showing the gameplay in the background I thought we’d talk a little bit about this new feature of shaders because it’s so new and a lot of people are just really confused so I thought I’d answer a few questions that may be going around in the community but right now the Shader that we’re looking at in the background is the defined PBR Shader and this is definitely one of the more popular shaders right now that people are using as it is a very up-to-date Texture pack you can download it for free I’ll put links Down Below in the description for all the shaders shown in the video today one thing you may notice right now is that a lot of the shaders are fairly similar I think this is because at the moment this latest Release is just our first technical preview as stated in the article put out by Minecraft and in that article they said add-on creators have access to editing PVR materials the Sun and Moon Shadows Bloom and tone mapping and then they say that in the future they have Many more features planned so like for example water looks pretty much the exact same in all of these shaders packs so if that’s something that could be edited to look different in the future that’d be amazing also this update is only like three days old so add-on Creators haven’t had a whole lot of time to polish a pack and release it but I’ve seen creators saying they are working on packs to release to the public we just have to give them some time so if you aren’t impressed by the shaders currently I ask you to stay optimistic As this is really just the beginning and the Minecraft team sounds pretty Cooperative in working with the community here so we can all get the best new Shader packs another really popular question mainly asked by the PS4 switch and iPhone Community who kind of feel like they’ve been left in the dust Here with this latest update is Will these features ever come to my device because again currently these shaders only work on Android when Windows 10 and Xbox now the answer to this question is yes eventually these features will definitely be supported on your device because in the article released by Minecraft it literally says we want to enable new levels of creative expression in Minecraft with new graphics features but we also want to make it easy for creators to share these experiences with players regardless of what device they play on so if that’s their goal I don’t See any reason why they wouldn’t release these features on all devices for Bedrock which actually takes us to our next question when will these features be supported on all devices and to that I don’t really have any way to estimate a good time I’d imagine it’ll be like Fairly soon you won’t have to be waiting like years or anything but there’s no way for me to like know for sure when these will also be supported on PS4 switch and iPhone another question people have been asking is is there a way to get these shaders in the real Version of Minecraft and not just in preview and the answer to that question is just no because at this moment and we have to have that render Dragon technical preview toggle in order to make the shaders work and that toggle is just not available in the full release Of Minecraft currently so for the moment these are only supported on preview Minecraft but in the future they will 100 be released into the full game finally I’m just interested to hear if the shaders have been working for you guys have you ran into any issues when Trying to import them I heard of this issue where the Deferred technical preview button was like grayed out on Windows and I actually had this issue the other day and I don’t know the exact steps I took to fix it but I did uninstall and then reinstall the preview Version and I imported some packs and eventually just went away and allowed me to mess with that toggle again so if you’re having this issue let me know Down Below in the comments and maybe we can work together to find an exact fix because these new features are really Cool and I want everyone to be able to experience them but I’ll be sure to keep you all up to date on the latest news regarding these shaders again all the shaders that were shown in this video links down below to download them thank you all so much for watching it’s been Smitty and until the next one take it easy peace out Video Information
