SilentButRedly – I made a BIOME RING in HARDCORE MINECRAFT! (#40)

In the last video we made this behemoth of a farm behind us which is actually really effective it got us i think up a couple levels i don’t know exactly how many but this episode we’re going to be doing actually some building i haven’t done building in a very long time the

Last time i did it was when i did the sword portal which was i think pretty cool but that is like a couple that’s at least five episodes ago so this episode we’re actually going to be building and like the last episode we’re gonna involve these so for those of you that

Don’t know in one of our most recent episodes we got a giant ring of n gateways by killing the dragon like i think 20 something times like 26 at times i think to get this ring around your end island now in that episode i said that i was going to

Make the the designed ring around each of them in the next episode i didn’t do that and that was like two episodes ago so that’s what we’re doing in this episode now i’ve decided to do something interesting and i have never seen this done before in any form of minecraft

There’s so little content about the ring around your end island i’ve seen so few people do it that i decided to just go for it myself we are going to make a different biome in between each individual portal so basically what that’s going to be like is between this

Portal and that portal is going to be a plains biome and then between this portal and that portal is going to be a jungle biome and we have quite a couple spaces to fill in so this is going to be quite expensive so we need to get the actual

Ring design around this so we need to get a bunch of blocks to just build the basic and i think we’re going to use dirt oh yeah by the way just randomly playing around the world a long time ago i don’t even know when this was it might

Have been the episode after i decided to put some bamboo in here so this is a bamboo and a sugarcane farm and we have bamboo and all the spots that cannot be that can’t be taken up by sugarcane and we’ve got quite a bit of bamboo from

This as well as sugar cane so just in this we have a lot of bamboo around just wanted to point that out so if if you ever see me using bamboo for anything i’m not cheating i actively got this bamboo from this farm all right so let’s

How much dirt do we have that is the question survey says not enough well good thing this has been breaking an efficiency on it so we’re going to make this area completely flat yes this is an absolute touch on it that’s good so that should be enough dirt to start

All right so let’s go plan out the ring so like i said we need to make a ring and i have chosen to do that by using dirt so we need to actually need to get up onto these and plan out we want the general shape of this to be which is

Going to be a ring or it’s going to be a circle but knowing me and minecraft being a square game they don’t really like circles so this is going to be the level where it’s going to be at so that way it’s nice and level with the with

The ground oh god this could be hard oh i’ve missed it by so much what the heck all of that is just gone oh this is gonna be a lot harder than i thought it would be this is already starting to look kinda cool just with this

So that’s a pretty good ring oh i almost forgot we gotta name this axe dang it tossed 16 levels then i proceeded to completely forget about naming the axe yes let’s go our ring is complete or not our ring our outline of this ring is complete that we now have a

Ring or more of an oval i guess yeah it is a lot like you know it is an oval but that’s how this works so this is the outline of our ring our next step is going to be to extend this platform by a couple blocks to make it a lot thicker

And easier to walk on and actually have enough room to build off of we need to get a lot more dirt and we are we’re also going to need a lot of glass because i’m planning to make a little glass area at the bottom to like make it actually look kind of

Like a ring or like a circle along the bottom area and if you’re wondering where the where the um texture pack for the sky went i decided to get rid of it because it crashed my game whenever it rained this is the behind the scenes of all the

Big youtubers that do our core the hours and hours spent just mining all right now that we have all of our dirt we are going to just go build out our area now essentially what i’m going to do is i’m going to make this pathway two or

Three blocks uh thicker than it already is so that way i actually have something to stand on and build off of that’s what i figured would start happening and this would be such a big problem that i would have to make a full area and dig out a full area

Just so that way they don’t spawn on and destroy my entire build that was probably one of the most annoying parts of this build so over half of this is complete we’re almost completely done with this we just need to do this section this section and this section and with those final few

Blocks i was almost done with the outline of the ring the only thing else that i had left to do was i needed to do some more small designing here and there to make it actually look like a good ring and then once i’m done with that i

Can move on to actually building the biomes this was a much longer project than i thought it would be so many little just touch-ups that need to be done okay i think it is good now we need to actually start building our biomes that we’re gonna place in these sections so

Obviously the first thing we’re going to do is going to be a plane’s biome i think we’re going to do that in this section right here pretty much all i have to do is just place in some of the grass higher middle sections here these endermen stealing blocks are going to be

A very big pain but i i have some stuff to potentially correct that let’s just place one there let’s do one here okay tree tree this area here is going to be our plane’s biome and don’t worry i am gonna do something with the bottom here i’m

Gonna put a glass dome along the bottom so yeah that’s our planes here we’re just gonna put some really densely packed trees and stuff gonna build a few little mountains it’s pretty much all about the trees that honestly pretty good i think i like it i

Then spent the next hour and a half making a duper that i didn’t end up using because i just lit up the area instead of covering it with carpets which in retrospect was a pretty stupid idea if you’re curious on what i’m doing here i’m gonna explain it so i’m digging

A giant hole underneath my end island so that way the underwind will spawn in the hole as opposed to on my ring because when they’re on my ring everything is getting destroyed it’s super annoying so what i’ve thought of doing is i’m just digging a hole underneath my island so

That way they have a place to spawn that’s not my ring that’s really all that i’m doing here this next one’s gonna be birch so let’s just do same thing that we kind of did for the other forests so let me just place one here one here i wish any bone milled

Grass it would grow that would be super nice we’re gonna put the dark oak right here all right right so that’s four so that’s one two three and four what should we make next i think we’re gonna make a savannah next actually let’s just do desert so we’re just gonna start

Covering this area in sand that’s why i have my electro on all right so that’s four biomes now completed so we so the biomes we’ve done are desert birch dark oak plains and spruce i think we’re going to do another biome next let’s put this one there

Okay so now that i have this area lined out we’re just going to fill it in with another rack okay so now this is another and this grows is this starting to come slowly slowly very slowly together great so here is this biome so so far today we

Have gotten this ring filled out we got the plains biome we got the spruce biome we got the desert biome we got the birch forest biome we got the dark oak forest biome and we got the crimson forest biome i forgot the word there for a second crimson forest

Let’s get on there one there one there there’s acacia um now let’s do the blue forest that’s not cursed so this is the warped forest biome right there so we’re going to do the silicon valley next we’re going to do this one right over here i’m just gonna light some just gonna do

This around all right that that is now one more biome completed so that is yet another biome done so yes this is our basalt delta biome so in total we have one two three four five six seven eight nine that is oh ten we have ten biomes now

Completed oh my god these endermen are so annoying okay i did not know this enderman cannot spawn at light levels above 11 in the end so if i can just light that area up really really well i should be fine so i need to make a lot of torches like a lot

Of torches oh boy this is going to be really really hard to light up all of this area the next bomb is going to be snow biome so we need to actually find a bunch of ice this is perfect yes so i think we’re going to build the snow biome right here

Right here it seems good so now let’s we need to place in the ice okay so there’s there perfect here’s our snow biome fully completed so i forgot to mention this but i ended up replacing all of the snow layers with carpet because the snow layers would melt whenever the torches

Were placed down which was a bit of a problem because then it would break the biome up and it doesn’t look very good and if i just don’t place the torches down then the endermen will spawn so i ended up just replacing it with carpet

That was the easiest thing to do i just wanted to let you guys know because i don’t think i actually said that in the recording which actually looks pretty good from a distance let’s do like an end island we’re gonna start doing this like the little terrain things so that

Way it doesn’t look just all flat and bad all right so now we just need to place coarse flour everywhere so yeah these are going to grow throughout the building of this and they’re just going to make really weird like struck you guys know what i’m talking about it’s just the out it’s

Just basically the fruit on the outer end islands and now i’m just gonna do some bone mailing around here all right all of this area has been bone mailed now so now some finer details around the areas this is starting to look a lot like a hardcore player’s end now

Now that we’ve got something biome related in this god this just looks so cool i am so happy with how this is turning out oh let’s go nice i really would make a mesa biome but i do not have any mace near me at all like i don’t have a single a single

Piece of terra cotta at all i’m gonna make a flower forest biome flower forest is gonna go here because it needs to break up one of the big one one of the big open areas gonna build up kind of high actually all right so now we just need to start

Flaming spamming flowers everywhere one more biome done in total we have one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen we have thirteen biomes done meaning we have seven more biomes to go i wanna make a mesa biome and i wanna make a mushroom volume so i’m gonna go

Grab some mushrooms and i’m gonna see what happens but i do not have any terra cotta to make a mesa by me even though i really want to make one so let me just go a bunch of these mushrooms we’re gonna scatter some of them around the

Dark oak forest uh biome as well so that’s all that i can really do for this because the growing mechanics of mushrooms are kind of weird but yeah that’s actually starting to look pretty good so actually i i have an idea for the mesa biome let’s put we’re going to put

The mesa biome here actually know where to put it right here all right so now we know the mesa biome is going to go here five more biomes to go oh yeah that looks so cool i’m taking out this beacon because there’s literally no reason for this to be here

At this point all right i think that’s actually pretty funny oh it’s such a long name hippity hoppity your head’s not my property it’s so funny so for our next bomb we’re going to make it like a farm so that the entire thing is going

To be like a field so if you play 2b2t you probably you probably know the field of wheat which was basically just literally a giant field just solely dedicated to just wheat so i think we’re going to grab some seeds and stuff so there’s actually one thing i want to do for this

We’re going to make kind of like a waterway throughout this entire middle area so we i think we are going to let the water run all the way down this too perfect i don’t think anyone could spawn on farmland but it does farmland does need

To be bright or lightened up so let’s do the layer closest to this as wheat okay so now let’s add some different seeds so let’s do some beet roots pumpkin seeds some carrot seeds and just fill in the rest of this with wheat so now that’s another biome

Completed we’ll fit we’ll fill this out as soon as we can 16 biomes complete four biomes more and since i’m out of ideas for biomes i’m going to work on the bottom part of these so my idea for the bottom part is i’m going to have a glass ring along the

Bottom so that’s going to need a lot of glass first things first i need to clear out all of this stuff so let me get the wool and the carpet first and if you look in the corner you can actually see a duper now this is just a carpet duper

And i never actually ended up using this i don’t know why i kept it there i just did all right all of these have been cleared out so now it is just up to us grabbing a lot of glass and i don’t think we’re gonna die i mean we could

Die we could dye the glass and i think we might i think we’re gonna die glass red okay so now that we have most of these done we’re gonna make a little thing along the bottom because currently the bottom looks pretty bad so i kind of want to make kind of like

This shape but going around the entire thing i don’t know if i like that enough to go to do that all the way around i guess i’ll i guess i’ll stick with it all right i think i actually kind of like that i think we’re just going to go

Around like that and we’ll do one more layer along like the top section yeah i like that that looks kind of good and then once we’re done we’re gonna go through and fill in this entire thing all right so yeah i think that looks good so let’s go get a lot more glass

And we are gonna fill in the middle there so that way it’s just one solid thing of glass i’m just doing it this way that way i can actually get in and out of it easy now’s my chance come on yes we are just destroying the achievements today hey let’s go

This is engaging content right here oh yeah placing glass i don’t know actually i actually have no idea how long i’ve been working on this project i can’t even listen to music while i do this though that’s like the worst part yeah not being able to listen

To music was such a pain imagine sitting still in a chair for over 12 hours just placing glass it is the most boring thing i could ever imagine i wish there was a speed crawl enchantment like speed snake but crawl in the event that my upload schedule

That i skip a week it’s most likely because hardcore takes a lot of time and i have a lot of like real life stuff to deal with though we’ve done a pretty decent amount so yeah the only reason i’m adding this regular along the bottom is because this looks kind of stupid

Just like flat so i will be doing something with underneath these two and then i’m probably going to fill this it fill in the inside with something although i don’t know yet all right so this is all pretty boring so what i’ve basically just done is i

Have made it so that way our duper over here is constantly feeding into this the final two blocks that we have wow that is a lot of glass like actually that is insane how much glass is required for this build but we’re we’re getting a lot closer to this

So this actually looks a lot better with this just this one little change this little red ring actually helps so much compared to this so now i just gotta go get a lot more glass this desert is gonna get destroyed by the time this world’s over so this is an interesting situation

We have not ran out of glass but we have ran out of dye that is kind of funny that was the one thing i was not expecting to run out of and we’re so close to finishing this too so i need to go grab some more dye and

Then this part of the ring and then this ring should be done or almost done we have made it full circle so all i have to do now is just go and do this last little bit of glass and we will be done with the biggest part of this yeah this

Is almost done it goes so fast here all right the ring has now been fully filled trident we got a trident i’m legit not even record i’m i’m just recording okay that is nice guys if we’re gonna be completely honest here i have not played on this world in

Over two months i have not logged on to this i have not touched this i literally ended it on this tower this is where i ended two months ago and i just and i’ve just now finished cutting the video just cutting it now the main reason is because yes i was

Being lazy but it was a lot of content to cut down in the po in the short post which i actually uploaded two months ago is actually when i like when i finished recording this so i haven’t actually been on this world in over two months so

This is where we left it off we have most of these biomes done we’ve got a couple more to do and we’ve got and i’m gonna do some more detailing with the ring and stuff but i did want to mention something sand diction did do this video

Before me like he posted it first but i was working on it before he posted the video now i don’t know when he started i don’t know when he started working on it but i think i was the first person to start doing something like this yes he

Did post a video that is this but it’s not even the main point of the video like the ring isn’t even the main point of the video which kind of makes me mad but i can’t do anything about that but yeah i just wanted to say that this

Video is very late and hardcore from now for the foreseeable future is going to be streamed live whether this be on youtube or twitch i will have to see but most likely it’s gonna be on youtube so yeah in i’m gonna start streaming hardcore in about a week so that way the

I’m going to be streaming the hardcore series instead of recording it just because it’s summertime and i have a lot more free time now yes the ice biome is in fact wool but it i can’t get snow to fit there because it’ll melt so it’s going to be will
