The Best New Mods for Underwater Exploration in Minecraft!! – all versions

Hey guys welcome back to my channel my name is tj and today i’m going to be showing you some of the best minecraft mods to use for underwater exploration this is going to be a really fun video so i hope you enjoy and let’s get straight into it Alrighty the first mod of the video is better diving and this mod is heavily inspired by subnautica so the first thing that you’re going to notice is a whole lot of materials and resources related to the actual game subnautica some of these items are wearables such as wetsuits fins pants and helmets and

These have the use of of course making you breathe underwater for a longer period of time and swimming faster underwater the mod also introduces an array of other cool items that you can find within the game however i think the coolest part of this mod is the seamoth

Which is an underwater submarine from subnautica that you can ride in and you can explore the oceans in a really really fast and cool way with the seamoth and it even has storage the seamoth can be charged and refueled with power cells which are batteries that you

Can craft in the game and you can even jump the seamoths out the water which i think is absolutely fun and of course these seamoths are really good for getting you down to lower shipwrecks where you can find resources for crafting if you’re a subnautica fan like me you’re gonna love this mod

Next up we have abyssal depths and this is a really really cool mod that adds a bunch of new sea creatures to the game so this mod is heavily surrounded with mobs and this adds a bunch of new sea creatures and they are all really really

Cool so it adds a bunch of new fish species obviously and also adds some really cool things such as sailfish blue marlins swordfishes and even sea serpents i love when new mobs are introduced because you can just jump in the water and just explore and find all of these

Cool new things and there’s even rideable seahorses and i think that’s just crazy you tame them exactly like a horse and then you can ride them the mod even adds sea serpents which are these giant eel like mythical beasts and one thing’s for sure is that this mod is

Going to make jumping into the water a whole lot more interesting now we have aquaculture and this mod is actually quite a bit different to the other mods in this video because this mod is a fishing style mod so this mod has a very large focus on fishing and it

Introduces some new armor pieces treasure chests that you can find underwater and a whole new range of fishing items so this includes fishing rods hooks and then you can actually make new recipes with fish that you catch of course with all these new items that

The mod adds it adds a whole new range of fish species so these include both salt water and freshwater fish and there’s even jellyfishes which i think look absolutely beautiful but one thing for sure is this mod is perfect for fishing and it would be lovely to just

Have a health by the water and be able to walk straight outside grab one of these insane new fishing rods and try your luck with catching some new fish Next up we have upgrade aquatic and this mod is another super cool and super detailed mod that adds a whole bunch of new features so a bit different to the other mods this mod actually adds a whole bunch of new blocks these include your classic slabs stairs and walls but

All of these blocks can actually be found under water which makes underwater exploration a whole lot more interesting similarly to most of the other mods this mod also adds a whole bunch of new fish species and these are really cool it adds some new fish that you really can’t

Find in other mods such as lionfish and even prehistoric nautiluses but the by far coolest part of this mod is the new sea monsters that it adds and these are called thrashers there are great thrashers and normal thrashers and these are super super dangerous and terrifying to come across

Alrighty guys the last mod of the video is odd water mobs and of course this adds a bunch of new cool sea creatures that are quite odd and you really just wouldn’t typically think that they would be in minecraft so i found this really really cool because it adds a really

Wide range of these new odd mobs and these include things like spider crabs sea pigs isopods and a whole range of new fish species and even prehistoric ones such as koala cats i found that this mod has a really really heavy focus on deep sea creatures because beside things like mud skippers

And lobsters most of these things such as ghost sharks quail cats and spider crabs are all found in really really deep water some of my favorites would for sure be the ghost shark angler fish and spider crab because we just haven’t seen stuff like this in minecraft before
