Hey everyone and welcome back to the breakdown today i’m going to be teaching you how to get the x-ray texture pack for minecraft 1.16.5 i’m going to go over every single step from downloading it to using it in game to even give you some tips

Once you’re in game first of all i want to mention that this is not meant for use on servers and if you do use it on servers it will get you banned a lot of servers have it blocked completely but if you do want to x-ray in your

That’s going to take you here this is our text tutorial to downloading and installing x-ray ultimate that’s going to be the x-ray resource pack we use it’s the most popular and one of the best ones out there so that’s what we’re going to be using

This is our text tutorial so if i do go too fast which i’ve been known to do then you can come here and go through the text version of this tutorial otherwise let’s go ahead and do the video right get the video version of this tutorial so

When you’re here going to go ahead and click on this yellow downrade x-ray ultimate button that’s going to take us off to the x-ray ultimate download page wherever we come over here to the right-hand side scroll down we’ll see minecraft 1.16 and then under that we will see the 1.16

Version of x-ray ultimate when you click on that download button that orange download button to the right of it it will take us off and after a few seconds it will download automatically you may need to save this file on mozilla firefox but you probably won’t need to keep it

On google chrome it’s safe no matter what though i promise once we go ahead and minimize our browser here here on my desktop i do have the x-ray ultimate pack if it’s on your desktop it’s going to be found in your downloads folder to find that click the little windows icon in

The top left of my screen probably in the bottom left your screen clear that little like on the top or bottom of your screen then go ahead and type in downloads you have this downloads file folder here click on that and then in here you will find xray ultimate drag it to your

Desktop just for ease of use now let’s go ahead and get this installed to do that you want to actually open up minecraft it’s that simple now optifine is recommended for x-ray ultimate but optifine is not out currently however if you do want to get optifine it is linked in the description down

Below and when you click on that link in the description down below it will take you here this is our in-depth tutorial got our text tutorial here and this will update to 1.16.5 as soon as optifine is out but 1.16.5 just came out today and optifine’s not up to date just yet

It should be pretty soon and when it is this video here will be updated but nevertheless it is recommended it’s not required as you’ll see in game but to be able to see ores from more of a distance and make them brighter and things like that optifine is recommended

But nevertheless once we’re here we go and open up minecraft and now we just kind of have to wait until minecraft’s open and we’re just dragging and dropping and clicking a few buttons it’s very very simple from this point to get uh x-ray install right super simple

Super easy and up if you want optifine that’s a little more difficult but even that’s easy and if you use our tutorials we’ll walk you through without any issues but again that link is in the description down below on how to get optifine and get that set

Up and once you have optifine installing x-ray is the exact same as normal i actually have another resource packet installed right now called save extract it’s good resource pack but now we’re using let me go ahead and get that gone and then we’ll be good there

We go like it never existed now we’re on the default resource pack on the minecraft main menu so now once we’re here we can go ahead and click on options then go ahead and click on resource packs here then click on the open pack folder button in the bottom left

That’s then going to open up our resource packs folder and all you need to do to install xray minecraft windows 16.5 is drag x-ray ultimate from your desktop into this resource packs folder that simple that easy if we come back to minecraft boom there it is x-ray ultimate

Now it does say it’s incompatible but it’s not it’s fully compatible it’s working all that stuff let’s go ahead and just click on this arrow here to move it over to the right it’s going to give us this warning we know we’re doing it’s fine i promise it’s fine

There you go then go ahead and click done the reason this is actually incompatible is because it’s made for 1.17 and we’re on 1.16 right somebody for the 1.17 snapshots and uh he just basically does one version for the most recent version of minecraft and it’s always backwards compatible so

Yeah anyway once we’re there we can go ahead and click done and if we go into single player here let’s jump into an x-ray world let’s just go ahead and do that so we’ll do x-ray i’m going to create a new world with cheats on

And i’ll see you once we’re in game so here we are in minecraft this is actually quite a nice spawn because we can immediately see we’ve got coal up in here now obviously these are i’m going to go into creative actually just so we can get to

This faster but um as you can see we’ve actually got you know these ores are relatively dark until you get right up on them that’s what optifine can fix right so for example we have no clue really what that ore is we have to dig down to it to see what it

Is and it is iron and if you do want donuts obviously we’ll need to go down here to the bottom and you’ll be able to see those as well but it is harder from a distance without optifine so yeah there you have it that’s how you can get x-ray setup and

Installed but again be careful using this on servers many servers have it blocked and um you know those that don’t have it blocked are going to ban you pretty fast it’s very very easy to see x-ray so there you have that if you do have any questions about getting x-ray let us

Know in the comment section down below um i’m trying to get to some diamonds i mean i feel like i you know this is why you don’t that’s right right it’s a cheating diamonds so i’ve looked up there there’s some you see those over there and see these diamonds be careful

Because uh lava will kill you um and these diamonds i’m guessing are probably lit up a little more because they’re near lava in some way but um yeah so there you have that that’s how you can get x-ray and 1.16 dot five if you do have any questions

Yep see these are in lava but if you go down here the diamonds are going to be somewhere down there it’s for swimming in lava and dying in creative mode this is bad this this is bad this is bad can i can i um there we go yeah but

Nevertheless as you can see we do have all these oars down here and i would lo i would love to find some diamonds i feel like i’m i felt like come on like i said this is what you’re doing x-rays to cheat and diamonds oh there’s some that we can get
