The Hero of the Village Has Fallen… Afterlife Modded Minecraft SMP Ep. 2

Hello everyone and welcome to afterlife smp this is the smp where you have 10 lives and every time you die you change origins this is our very first origin i’m a villager and since i’m a villager i think it’s time to take advantage of that there are a couple of things that

Are very important to any villager the first of those things is trading and the second telling time knowing when to go to bed is vital around here so today we’re going to focus on these things i’ve been working a little bit on getting my trades up and running i’ve been trading

Sticks with these fletchers which is super easy to do and then i’ve been getting the lovely librarians so as you can see i now have a bunch of books available for trade and i want to get even more sleep sun is setting sleep there we go sleep ah morning

So in order to keep my villager priorities straight today i think we ought to improve the village today my mission is clear i must build a library for all of my librarians and honestly i think this little hut right here would make the perfect library it’s already

That ought to help i think luckily it does seem like all my villagers are safe so i think i can finally go ahead and start on the library which i’m real excited for because look at all the books i’ve saved up now i’ve been trading so much i’m thinking all i’ll do

Is i’ll mark out a little spot for a library just right about here and then all of my librarians can work inside of it and stay safe that seems like a fantastic start to the library are you seeing this shulk we’re building a library it’s going to be great i think

He was going to decide to start listening to me and so we did a very quick trade and i escorted him safely out of the village with no death in sight and now i can finally get back to my library hopefully my signs will be more effective next time my goal for this

Library is to eventually have all of my librarians working cozily inside i’ve got this lovely pumpkin gradient going on the roof once again and i think oh you’re doing a spin i think it matches well with the overall theme that i want here i’m always happy when i’m building

A pumpkin roof it’s just so cute isn’t it it’s looking great if i do say so myself i just need a few more pumpkins from the pumpkin patch might even be time for a pumpkin patch expansion wonderful oh it’s night time again sometimes it’s just a really nice night

To stay out and watch over the village things are so peaceful here the pumpkin patch the villagers going about the work the golems patrolling the children in the wheat fields it’s a wonderful night and if i stay up here nothing bad can happen to me the hero of the village jam we’re here

Whoa look at this what the heck yep hey look at this what a nice flight that was ted how to take it down i was beginning to think things were getting a little too peaceful for how the day was going sausage escorted joey here to give me my prize for

Accidentally killing him a little weird but you know i’ll take it evidently nobody on the server knows how to read so maybe that library is more important than ever let’s get back to it you know what couple more signs just for safe measure maybe the signs will work a bit better

If there’s some pumpkins with them that’s intimidating yep that’s a good one perfect okay i feel much better about definitely getting back to work on my library now and i’ve had a brilliant idea so with all the trades i’ve been doing i’ve gotten some new goodies as you can see a

Clock is one of them which is very important for me as a villager so i think we’ll add a little section to this where we can have a clock on display so that everybody always knows the time i think we should be able to get a little tower going right about here

This should be absolutely beautiful i think i like it already yep that’s looking fantastic so far i just need a few more pumpkins and some leather for an item frame oh oh thank you thank you okay so if i want this to give sort of a clock tower look i’m going to

Try to use some of the blocks to my advantage to get that sort of shape going this is birchwood surprisingly and i think it actually looks quite good like that and then i wanted to try some of the other things like perhaps yeah does that look like a clock it’s a

Bit of a stretch i’ll keep working on it i actually think with a few more details that could look really good and of course we can go ahead with a couple of more details along this side and then we’ll put a real clock right about here

So everybody can always tell the time i think i’m on to something right now for the finishing details over on this side to break up this particular wall i’m going to go with a little bit of a chimney the lecterns are all lined up and look at the librarians as they come

In for work i love it already and once again i’m reminded how incredibly fun decorating and modded can be look at this oh stay at a yep okay jeez villagers as much as i personally love free roaming villagers sometimes on servers they can be a bit of a problem

So to combat this i’m actually going to use a simple trapdoor right here so that the villagers can’t actually get in and out this library project has made a huge difference to the village it already looks so good yeah we’re spinning so what do you say

We take a little bit of time right now and do a transformation on the village let’s do it And transformation complete let’s turn on shaders for a moment oh it’s very bright but it’s beautiful look at my village i’m so proud of it so i’ve cleaned up this little walkway right here that takes us up to where my lovely fletchers live in here this is where i generate

Most of my emeralds and then we can come over here we’ve got the farmers still free roaming i’m gonna keep them free roaming forever they seem happy over here i haven’t done the interior but this is like all the tulle the armor and also the butcher

This is my old storage room i didn’t really do much with the interior here but it looks a lot better now and cleaner and i’ve also done a little improved well in the plaza what a fantastic day it is to be a villager oh and i’ve also been doing a little bit of

Any of my things so since i have all of these levels maybe it’s time we take a few things to the grindstone and try enchanting them i haven’t actually been mining but because i’ve done a bunch of trading with my friends i have some lapis we need a few more books for the
