Free minecraft like it says so it’s not wasting more time open this thing up and then slap some stickers on it because i’m excited i don’t even need to use a knife for this actually it’s easy to open so is our tiny little 12.5 inch geo we actually just did some research this

Is the geo book 120 there’s also a 140 and a 240 but the specs looked almost the exact same it’s literally just a 14 inch screen and then a 15.6 but man before we get to this let’s just see what we get with it so in this we’re likely just going to have

A basic power brick oh yeah real small because you know this thing doesn’t require much power and i don’t see any instructions they’re probably under the laptop but uh you won’t care about those now one thing this does come with they were pretty hyped is stickers so yeah these are actually minecraft uh

Peel and stick stickers so we’re gonna really deck this thing out but this this just would be an awesome present uh for any kid who’s into minecraft um and it’s on i mean really good budget too but obviously we’re gonna figure out is it worth it because there’s a chance this

Will barely play minecraft and this is just a horrible concept um but we get this really sleek green cover that’s like a matte finish like she looks really nice we got their geo logo up here um we just have a couple feet on the bottom it looks like

That’s the ventilation or maybe that’s even the speakers this might have very minimal ventilation we have a micro sd card reader a combo headphone jack and then a usb 3 on one side the other side we have usb 3 we have the power jack

Usbc and an hdmi out but it is a mini or micro hdmi so really not too lacking on ports i mean let’s be honest some of the new macbooks only come with usbc so this is uh not too bad what is what is oh my gosh it’s instructions for minecraft oh my

Goodness i love this if this works for minecraft this is just an amazing present uh for a kid so as you can see intel celeron inside we’ll have the exact celeron on the screen but it wasn’t just a quad core just as quad core celeron which is kind

Of surprising normally they’re only dual core or two core four threads so a quad core seller on i’m assuming it’s pretty much just an atom processor for being honest let’s see if we have power no power but we do have a web we got a webcam uh we have it looks like two

Microphones and then it should have built some speakers that are on the bottom so this does have all the typical features of a laptop i do like how they did this the green was a green wasd keys nice but look at that we’re loading up

So it looks like windows 10. it is like a 720p screen which might actually help this thing out a lot in playing minecraft because it’s lower resolution and you’re just running off the like integrated graphics for the celerons so i think it’ll work fine but obviously

When we do get to testing it we’re going to have some minecraft and probably like one other game because i think this has like that emcc storage so it’s only like 64 gigs which is not much at all does it have sd card slot it does a micro sd

Card so you got some expansion um we can maybe do a little research and see if there’s upgradeable but i highly doubt it emc or whatever the heck it is is soldered into the board so it’s usually not upgradable yeah yeah we’re gonna go ahead and do is get through the setup

Process um get minecraft up and running and just see how it actually plays minecraft because that’s what you came here for right plug it in to get the best performance baby all right so we got a couple games installed but we can’t test games yet until we install some of these beautiful stickers

Yeah we just realized you know we’re not gonna get the maximum minecraft fps if we don’t have the minecraft stickers installed so of course we gotta take that into our own hands pretty i wonder do they come with different stickers i don’t know maybe let us know if you guys

To you so yeah we’ll actually test some games on it now all right guys so before we dive into minecraft and now it’s like freaking outside just plugged in a mouse i’m going to show you guys the full specs of this little laptop this thing comes with a celeron in three 450 which

Is a 1.1 gigahertz base processor it is a four core four thread but i’ve seen this thing boost as high as like 2.2 gigahertz which isn’t too promising because it’s pretty low end especially with four gigs of ram um but for the most part these intel hd 500 series

Graphics should be good enough to play minecraft and we are using the uh microsoft store version um which from what i’ve seen has a little bit better performance on lower end hardware so we’re gonna actually dive into minecraft real quick and see if the minecraft laptop can actually

Play minecraft because what’s the point of having a minecraft laptop if it can’t play minecraft and actually comes with a copy of minecraft so um have msi afterburner up and working right now and we will see how it performs all right so i already went in here and

Made a world just to save time but you know what i’m just going to make a new one and make it a let’s see can i just do uh creative mode yeah i’ll change this to creative mode i don’t really care about achievements we’ll hit create

And we will see how the performance is i think it’s by default on 10 chunks um we are at the uh 720p resolution i think it’s more like 768p if we’re being really particular here with this laptop screen so um yeah we’ll see the performance is like if it is a little

Bit stuttery we’ll try adjusting the settings here and there but as someone who’s gonna buy a laptop like this and just wants to play minecraft and really just doesn’t know anything about computers we really want to gauge that kind of experience because you may not know to lower the settings to get a

Smoother experience and honestly if you’re a younger kid getting something like this if you’re getting at least 30 fps you’re probably going to be happy with this minecraft experience and as you see right now we are looking at like about 40 to 50 around 30 fps give or take

It’s not great you see that intel hd hd500 graphics pinged at 100 along with the celeron um but it’s playable right now i’ll give it that uh we can do the classic tnt test if we want to i don’t really think that’s going to work very

Well but we’ll do it just to see if we can break the laptop but we’ll fly around over here and see what we’re doing here like 34 fps and we’re going to place a bunch of tnt but sensitivity is all over the place right now all right it’s probably a bad idea but

Used to play minecraft a lot that was like the big test to build like the biggest like tnt while you can but um let’s go into settings real quick and see if it’ll actually load settings are kind of slow to load if we can adjust any of the actual settings

Here to get 60 fps so right now we are looking at fancy a bunch of fancy settings so it’s disabled like smooth lighting beautiful sky um fancy leaves we got camera shake i’ll leave the camera shake on it’s kind of cool um we’ll go down and uh drop the

View distance to let’s do eight chunks um anti-aliasing wow anti-aliasing let’s just turn that down to like one um we can go ahead and scroll up and see if there’s any other settings here it looks like that’s probably a little we’ll remove fancy graphics because that’s probably gonna be pretty demanding um

We’ll see if it’s any better it looks like we’re around 40 fps now 40 is a lot better than 30. i’ll give you that but there are still some dips 230. um so again can this play minecraft yeah look at that seller i’m trying out 1.1 gigahertz it just goes to show you

Um how little performance or how little hardware you actually need to really play a game like minecraft um it’s enjoyable regardless and i’m hoping my hand is not like totally blocking the screen by the way i’m trying my best to play on this thing but it is really tiny

The screen is not the best but if you’re some kid who just wanted to get into minecraft i mean i don’t think you can really complain too much um let’s just see if i can break this real quick i know i already did this but i’m gonna

Try even more and see if we can break it all right this this has to do some damage right this has to drop the fbis let’s see oh oh wow yeah that was that was kind of rough loading stuff in but now it didn’t crash or anything it works that’s nice

So yeah minecraft runs on this laptop but the real question is can i play anything else what i decided to install was valrant and roblox because well valorent is a free game and first person shooter so you can kind of see if this thing can actually run valerian have a

Feeling it’s going to be pretty difficult to run but then also we have roblox because that represents somebody who may get this laptop something else they may want to play so let’s just do that shall we all right so i’m going to be perfectly honest here i’ve tried launching

Valorant a couple of times um and it just closes out once it actually gets in the game it just straight up crashes so i’m gonna just show you guys what it’s doing right now to see if i can actually get it to launch but one thing is the

Storage on this the emcc storage which is basically just like really slow flash storage um kind of sucks and because that storage just really sucks i think that’s a big part on to why this is not booting and also windows 10 machines really nowadays should have a minimum of

Eight gigs of ram because four gigs even with just nothing going on the background gets used up so quickly i’m going to close out of this edge uh browser that could be taking a lot of our ram too so maybe it just did not have enough resources to launch okay

We’re in now let’s see if we can actually get into some game play this is what it did last time it posted right here and then it just shut down on me so if it does it again um we’re pretty much it’s a lost cause for valor and we’re

Just gonna have to try some roblox but oh there it goes again okay um i have a feeling that’s just not gonna happen unfortunately um so let’s just see if we can get roblox to work it’d be kind of disappointing if i can’t test anything else i might just

End up down like an emulator or something if we’re actually gonna we’ll get something else other than minecraft to test on this laptop but uh not too promising so far all right guys the last game we are gonna be testing is roblox more specifically the bad business experience

Which is basically like a call of duty per se of uh roblox so what we’re gonna be doing is diving into it and i’ll be honest with you i already know this is not going very well because i already launched it and it only got like eight

Or nine fps even lower settings so um really in recap i’ll show you guys once we get in here you’ll get a better idea uh oh yes it’s a little bit better on this map actually but it’s still 10 fps on what’s basically low settings in

Roblox so if you go into settings here we are on the lowest possible settings performance that’s pretty much all we can do in terms of lowering stuff so um 20 fps in a first person shooter that dips down to 15 is not great um in recap really this thing might be good for

Things like emulation if you’re someone who wants to play like game boy games something like that oh i killed somebody whoa you can do stuff like that but mainly it’s designed as being a little flashy little laptop that has a celeron that is rated to run minecraft

And that’s about it um and also if you really wanted to um you could use this for school work obviously um work from home for a kid a celeron would be perfectly fine for that for like school work and things like that but that’s pretty much the extent of it it’s

Basically a net book in 2021 that has a little bit more feature to it so if you’re if you’re someone who’s interested in that sort of thing or you know a kid who may want something like that i think it would be really cool for that use case especially at only like

250 dollars but um in reality you could build yourself like a little cheap optiplex that would perform better if you really aren’t set on a laptop and it might be a better experience it’d be much more upgradeable um and things like that i just called the minecrafter it’s just so ironic

I think that’s the main like aspect of this that’s really intriguing compared to other laptops on the market then yeah it’s worth it you get the minecraft stickers and a laptop that’s pretty good and pretty compact and very portable so for that use case i would recommend it
