Hello everyone it is Toby here back with another minecraft video we are back on the tutorial worlds because this is a tutorial so this is a world hair that I do all my tutorials on and also a load of prepare preparation and designing for my Survival Series which may or may not Be coming to an end soon depending on certain things and stuff so yeah I have decided that I’m going to be doing a tutorial for one of the builds on my Survival Series that I was actually really quite happy with I feel like it would work perfectly for tutorials so Since I was so happy with that I reckon why not show you guys how to build it if you didn’t catch it when I was building it when I was showing you the design in the survival if you even watch the episode out that’s what I was trying to Say there we go but if not then here is the perfect video for you to learn how to make it and also just to get some various different design ideas off this so basically what is going to be is is going to be a miniature mage tower or a tower of enchantment So here it is over here it’s like a quite a small little Tower and it really does work very well see there’s a large mage tower over there we’ll go quickly have a look at that just to show you what a large mage tower that I would Build might look like so it’s slightly bigger maybe still quite small comparison to some builds people do on Minecraft but it is slightly bigger uses a lot more detail and different resources if you want to know how to build this one however you’ll be able to find that in the tutorials playlist It’s a time-lapse tutorial so it’s a time-lapse that I spoke over so if you’re interested please go check that out that would mean a huge amount if you went to check that out as well but anyway on to the actual build that we will be doing this episode this is the Mini mage tower here and what’s really good about it is it small it’s perfect for a small house like a small starter base you’ve run it on a server and you want to have a small starter base that looks good but doesn’t take too long Build this is going on I mean you could change Rufe out if you haven’t gone to the nether yet for maybe dark oak wood but I’m just gonna use nether brick because to me it looks the best with the other blocks so yeah how I used it was an Enchanting setup which is how I’m gonna be also using it in this video it’s it’s extremely simple to build perfect for enchanting that’s the only reason I designed it is to have it four beat to be the perfect size for an enchanting setup so if you’re wondering that’s why I did that so that is basically what we got there and I’m going to build it just here so pretty much next to it just showing you exactly how to build it so what you want to do is you want to take these pillars three blocks up with a Three block gap in the middle of them and then what you want to do is you want to bring a wouldn´t beam straight across each thing so that is the base of your thing because yep that is basically what you want to have so far so it doesn’t look like much yet But then what you want to do is you want to bring it up full blocks on each of these on each of these wooden pillars in the corner the big beams and structure of it wanna bring it up four blocks and then again bring it across on each of Them like this this is what’s gonna make up your main mage tower so you’re going to need not too much wood I’d I’d honestly get about a stack so you do with some left over afterwards if you’re trying to make this in survival and then you just want to add in some extra Things like that like so right there so that’s what we’ve got so far and that’s basically what you want to have so now what you want to do is you want to come over here or wherever grab some oak wood and some oak wood stairs the front end We’re just gonna put some oak wood in I mean you could have bookshelves but I just I just kept those oak wood there and then you also want to bring your awkward around the top like this so going up in threes adjacent to the wooden pillars just like that is Absolutely perfect there and then you just want to gonna add in some stairs like this to make you window sections that are slightly indented just add a little bit of depth into the build and basically make yourself look like a professional builder and then just you want to grab Any colored glass pane you want I’m just gonna use regular glass pane could use different colors you can even use fences you can use fence gates you can use whatever to make windows but yeah that’s basically the best skeleton over and you may be wondering why we haven’t done the Lower floor yet well I’m going to be using bookshelves to fill in the rest of the lower floor because this is going to be used as an enchanting setup so if you want to have as an enchanting setup I recommend you use these bookshelves because you need them and it actually Also adds in a nice little bit of color behind the trap doors there so I definitely recommend using this for an enchanting setup and if not just using the bookshelves anyway because it does make it feel like a mage tower alright now what we’re going to want to do is We’re going to add in some detail and we’re gonna do that with these trapdoors we’re also gonna grab this door because we haven’t got the door in place yet there we go but with the trapdoors all you’re going to want to do is go either Side of the door and then over the top layer of bookshelves like that on all three other sides like so and then up the top here there is going to be a thing you want to want to do and that’s either side of each window is also put In a another trapdoor and that basically makes things look a lot nicer when you put all the other detailing in so it may not look like much to now like much at the moment but I definitely add it in don’t just think I’m not gonna add it in Because I’m a rebel but yeah and then what you want to do is on each corner of the wooden pillar like this bring up your cobblestone wall that you have because you have it up three blocks each side like so to make it look a bit Supported and then you just want to grab some stone brick stairs and put it either side of the door and upside down there and then along the bottom here and upside down now so basically leaving only the trap doors exposed for now along the bottom and up There along the bottom and up there and now we’re going to work on the trapdoors for the upper bit and you’re just going to want to put two there too there – there – there and you’re also going to want to grab something else in A minute which I’ll show you but we want to put – there – there – there – that on every single side – there – there – that there we go – there and finally – there – there – there – there so that’s basically the main structure Of its sofa what you’re also going to want to grab is you want to grab some signs on the item frames just add an extra bit of detail go ahead and put an item frame on each of your wooden blocks on the basically final remaining side of These wooden blocks down here and you just want to put a sign on the block behind it just that basically because the sign of the item frame just adds a tiny little bit of detail in there not too much I used to just have the trapdoors on all four sides there but I Decided to change it up on the world at the moment because it’s not on the survival world because I built it with just trapdoors but yeah basically trust me if you want to add these definitely do if you have spare item frame hanging around or if not just make them Absolutely perfect it just adds that extra little bit of detail in there making the build look a lot nicer all right now you want to want to do is you want to jump in here and grab yourself some stone bricks just normal stone bricks will do and just build fill in The gap between the bits of wood like so perfect so that is the base of the mini mage tower so far very very detailed but very very small so if you actually want some space on the interior I recommend thinking a spiral staircase down and having an underground base because you Can’t build too much in here you can put some storage and your enchanting set up obviously because that’s what it’s designed for but if you just still want to just have a base out of it just I recommend digging down building an underground base but anyway this is what We’ve got so far and now comes the complicated bit I’m sad to say and that is the roof and actually is not too bad so on each of these phases of wood we’re going to want to go ahead put down a upside-down never well whatever roofing like never Bricks tear let’s say just for the purpose of the tutorial and then in the remaining gaps you just want to play style a slab so you’ve got your basic shape to the base of the roof a nice like cylinder shape circular shape there we go absolutely perfect and then just What you want to do is you want to put a block on these bits here in the corners as you see and also these bits in the middle here and there is a reason for that in a second and then you just want to grab your stairs and do just as I’m Doing so put one up against the block and then one like that up against the block like that up against the block like that up against the block like that up against the block like that I put against the block break now that sounds like a tune you can probably Remix that but please don’t anybody um there we go and that’s basically the starting of your roof as you can see the next thing you’re going to want to do is I’m actually gonna grab some nether brick blocks and not use the slaps is on The back of each of the stairs you want to place a block and then continue it until it meets up in the corners and basically five blocks or never brick on each side now that’s what you got so far and then what you want to do is again Once again place a block in each of the corners and again stare up against the block like that up against the block break that up against the block up against the block break that up against the block like that’s there we go up against the block like that up against The block break that up against the block like that up against the block like that and there we go there’s a little bit of song time of building out of the way song times with Toby anyway there we go basically a repeating pattern and then what we’re going to do Is you want to grab your blocks and put one on the back the stair and basically go all the way around so it’s going to be a 5×5 square of nether brick like that and then on top you want to put a block there a block there a block There a block there up against the block like that up against the block like that up against the book like that up against put right light up against the book trailer up against support right up against portray that and up against the book right that and you’re gonna want to Put the stairs on top again I see the roof is very repetitive so it’s pretty easy to follow and then in these corners down here you want to put a block like so not there like that and bring it up one more so there you go and Then the middle bits we’re just gonna connect it up like this and then go one block up another block up another block of another block up stare stare stare stare one two three done that is basically the tutorial over so yeah you can see we have some identical mage Towers I mean you could which I might do cuz I completely forgot what making it fence and then the fence on that one as well the fence just adds the extra little bit of points on top honestly I preferred it without the fence the fence is completely preference So I’m going to leave without the fence because if I prefer it like that oh yeah there you go that’s how you build a miniature mage time if you want to what if you’re wondering how I did the interior it’s extremely simple what I did this is exactly what I did in here On my other world I had a wooden floor well I’m not sure if it was exactly but it’s probably gonna be very similar because so bog-standard there we go wooden floor with an enchant table in the middle then up here I grabbed all of this and I put lemon each corner and I Grabbed some stairs where I can get where can I get some stairs I’ll have to get them from down here there we go now I got some stairs and when stair in each corner and I grab the block again put one there and well now that’s how I made the roof Section that I just built a very simple chandelier which was literally just ups more of a lamp that chandelier if anything it’s just like that that’s how I do the interior I mean what you could do is you can have your another roof there and have a second floor and even a Third floor if you want to build in the roof but this is what I’d use a fortune little enchanting setup and have your main base sash housed somewhere else but anyway I’ve been Toby thank you guys so much for watching this episode of tutorials yes I can speak I promise and That was just a little tutorial on how to build a miniature mage tower I really hope you guys enjoyed this video of course these tutorials aren’t supposed to be copy block for block even though if you’d like to they’re perfectly viable for that but they’re also to give you inspiration on how to Build stuff in the styles that I’m tutorial earring so say I bet or fall that’s not what I want you guys to but I don’t want you to build the exact same fort I want you to build something similar maybe using different blocks maybe just using a different design completely different just for Inspiration that’s how I like doing my tutorials but anyway I’ve been Toby and I’m gonna go leave me a comment down below of anything you want and yeah let me know if you watch the entire video way all the way through cuz that’ll be quite nice to know and also let me know If you’re gonna build something similar or this tutorial has inspired you to build a mini mage tower of your own or you’re just gonna use this exact design in something you’re building but anyway I think Toby and I’m out I will see you guys later And now we do the paths you can imagine what this is gonna be like because I do it quite a bit didn’t want to place that there there we go let’s just grab some different materials let’s go gravel gravel stone stone andesite andesite and to say there we go That’s just connecting it up I should probably go Video Information
