Top 10 Minecraft Mods (1.19.4) – 2023

Better Nether fortresses and this is yet another mod added to the ever increasing catalog of Young’s mods and this time around Nether fortresses have received an upgrade and I don’t actually think Nether fortresses are all that boring in vanilla Minecraft but still there is ways to improve them which this mod does

Once you have this mod installed Nether fortresses will be a little bit bigger and have more detail and plus there’s kind of a main room area to explore so if you’ve been looking for a mob to make Nether fortresses a little more interesting than you should absolutely

Check this one out next up we have the Promenade mod and this mod mostly focuses on adding some new biomes and animals to the game and it doesn’t add a particularly large amount of these but what it does add is pretty high quality the new biomes are quite detailed and

Even have some of their own unique blocks and the Animals especially the Capybaras have some very impressive animations and generally the features that this mod does that just feel pretty unique and special which is always a plus after that we have the Vulcan renderer mod and at least in terms of

Sheer FPS and performance this is possibly the best performance mod I’ve seen for the game so far and on my computer sodium already gives me more than enough performance but once I install the Vulcan mod instead of this gives me yet another pretty significant performance boost and this mod is listed

As an early Alpha so bugs are to be expected but hey if you’re looking to just squeeze every bit of performance out of Minecraft that you can then you should certainly take a look at this one for our next mod we have enhanced movement and this is a fairly simple mod

That adds some pretty interesting new features to your movement and this is the ability to double jump and dash in any direction you choose it certainly isn’t the biggest spot out there but it is absolutely going to change the way you explore your world next we have the

Drops mod and this is still maybe my favorite Minecraft mod that allows you to drop items in a somewhat more realistic way because with this mod installed when you throw an item it’ll roll around as if it has actual physics applied to it and then finally come to a

Stop when it should really it’s just incredibly satisfying to mess around with time controls the next mod I’ll be showing you guys and this is just a pretty simple mod that allows you to actually change the length of both day and night and this is honestly something

I think should just be in vanilla Minecraft there should be a game rule to set this but there isn’t and with this mod it works pretty much flawlessly so if you want days to last longer you can do that if you want them to be incredibly fast go ahead and same goes

For night time after that we have the show me your skin mod and this is a pretty great mod that allows you to customize exactly how much of your armor is visible so if you’d like to wear some netherright armor but at the same time want to actually see your skin you can

Just simply turn down the transparency on your armor all the way down to zero percent if you’d like and this can be customized for each individual piece of armor and even works with elytres next up we have it the chest finder mod and this is a wonderful mod for those of you

That constantly cannot find your stuff all you have to do is while hovering over an item in your inventory press Y and it’ll show you exactly where the item is in any specific chest and plus the models makes the soap if you name a chest with an anvil it’ll display the

Name on top of itself approaching the end we have Amplified Nether and this is still one of my favorite nether mods to have installed because it makes the netherfield much more intimidating which is saying something because of the nether already is quite horrifying to explore now there’s the potential to

Come across some absolutely massive drop-offs as the height of the nether is literally doubled I do recommend using this mod with a Shader though because vanilla Minecraft just doesn’t allow you to see very far in the nether but you know this is up to you and finally the

Last mod I’ll be showing you guys today and still just one of the coolest mods out there honestly is distant Horizons and this is a mod that allows you to use render distances that aren’t even close to possible in vanilla Minecraft right now I have it sitting at 256 render
