Trapdoor Curse! – Let’s Play Minecraft 409

Welcome back everybody to some more minecraft we have issues i bet you weren’t expecting that were you i wonder what issue das is gonna have today yeah this is sadly the issue right here every single trapdoor in my world guess which of this and we have thousands and

I mean absolutely thousands of trapdoors so we’re doing it today i’m going to try getting off of the beta if it doesn’t work then that’s why this video is super late i don’t know let’s give it a shot so the first thing we need to do is back

Up all our worlds already did that backed up my resource packs um now we just i guess it’s as simple as going to where is it what is this previews oh here it is i’ve been on this beta for a very long time maybe this is what i’ve

Been needing to do but i know as soon as these new little mobs come out or just this next update in general we’ll be right back on the beta uh oh any worlds played while in the beta cannot be opened in previous versions this is what i was worried about

Okay so now i need to delete the game and reinstall it this is the worst part losing all your settings i should have looked at all my settings but oh god i don’t like the smooth transitions i’ve never liked that yeah all right we’re beta free this is interesting what’s this

It just said i had 99 invites only one sure fuzzball okay well now you know why this video was so late i’m gonna have to wait for a new beta to come out to fix the trapdoors okay so now we’re back on the beta because i forgot i turned automatic

Updates off so maybe there was an update so this is i put in a world that doesn’t have the messed up trap doors it’s before that sure and this sucks because i’ve been dying to play on this world and just a small thing oh i don’t even want to look

Oh it’s already messing up i say that oh yeah oh god oh my god what just give me a stable beta version oh no everything’s so messed up all right it’s a week later and we got a beta update here we go i just want it to end

I just want to be able to wake up and decide to play on my world if i want to i’m tired of these little bugs affecting my world okay last time all my pets okay things seem stable trap doors that’s the big question oh god please please no oh no

Trap doors are still not fixed oh no Is that new menu music how dare they change the classic mini music no i think this is part of the experimental part of this update like they’re gonna get wait are they gonna get rid of i read something about it like it’s not staying they’re just testing something

Out it’s peaceful and they also added new music for biomes anyway i loaded up a further back save i’m guessing that’s just yeah 9 15. because i want to make sure okay you can see trap doors right there that are fixed if i load in and they’re messed up that means it

Obviously is a bug i just got to make sure or what if they like changed trap doors for a reason no that would make no sense why why there’s no way i know for a fact that that backup i have the trap doors were just fine there’s no way

And you know why i’m so mad about this is because this backup was before we did all the work over here in the lab oh my god or unless it’s just at the lab let me go home why are my rockets why is everything great there’s always something in the beta

I can’t wait until we create a world and no longer touch betas that is going to be the day and we haven’t even got to talking about the new update stuff i might just turn this into an episode even though we might do absolutely nothing but oh man

The wild update we can basically just call this the dallas update the slime update and knowing my luck in this game all the trapdoors are going to be just fine oh yay oh that’s such great news it’s laggy so i guess if i whoa what the heck

That’s cool you can actually adjust the render distance to each one you want now oh there’s the new music so i think the choice i have to make is if i want to play on this world i have to lose all my progress again because there’s no way i’m gonna run

Throughout this whole world and change the thousands of trapdoors i’ve already talked about this in the beginning all right i have some tough decisions to make but the problem is is like what other stuff did i do now i think that’s all i really did was

Work on the lab but that was a lot and let me tell you that was a lot of work i’m kind of just listening to the song now You know what this music is actually going to be refreshing because we’re so used to listening to the same music the past how many years like 10 years all right guys well i’m gonna spend some time thinking about what i should do here i’ll see you in a bit

All right so i have almost zero well the most amazing thing is if you follow me on twitter about like a couple weeks back i tweeted saying minecraft needs frogs and that tweet actually blew up it got like two to three thousand likes and then

A week later we get the wild update and they announced frogs so what is a wild update i have no clue i am not an update channel all i know is there’s frogs and they’re updating some biomes i’m kind of checking out some stuff here i heard

They added skulk stuff let’s see what that is anything new anything that catches my eye oh wait a minute son of a god i keep forgetting to put turn on experimental features they changed it up here vanilla experiments i’m guessing that’s what experimental features was okay i don’t know what experimental mo laying

Features is maybe that’s a typo all right okay how’s the world look you can just tell right away all the new changes to the world look you get a lot of jungle edges now or unless this is like its own biome well it was its own biome

All right now let’s look at our inventory new blocks or new things nothing catching my eye yet oh nevermind what on earth whoa is that a new vine sweet skull what is that word no we’ve had that one other side oh i could have swore we had that color

Before didn’t we i don’t know if i want to listen to it yeah i feel like we should wait and experience it in game yeah classic dallas i was wanting to wait for it because i like getting the full experience out of minecraft this stuff by the way i don’t really care i’m

Just gonna just want to see what it is that’s just a block i’m assuming an animated block at that this looks cool assuming you can climb up these no i’m assuming this is going to be like glow like it in some way skulk catalyst okay

Now what is this is this like a mob of some sort oh whoa oh this will make being underground a lot scarier does that like give you what is that effect darkness oh crap now you’re not doing it what there might be a cooldown for it interesting nonetheless

Or rather we’re going to check out some of the new what mangrove no way is that palm tree kind of looks like one or that might be in the new swamp i know oh my god they’re in mud mud bricks oh my god we might have to start a new

World just to live in a swamp okay um uh frame block i don’t know what that is warden we saw that i know the la one la whatever you want to call it comes in three variants default tropical and snowy snowy frogs likes to jump on lily pads and big drip leafs each

Variant is planned to have a unique use for players oh grows from a tadpole there’s tadpoles oh we’re getting fireflies oh my god this is what we need like more stuff flying through the air oh my god they got little tadpoles whoa oh we’re gonna have mushrooms on trees now

Okay i want to see the concept art but this stuff probably won’t come out until like holiday season right that makes me a little sad oh there it is what is that interesting i’m yeah that’ll most likely be in the swamp well i tell you what if we find a swamp that

Improvements if you’ve seen lab improvements episode i just want to make sure everything is good stuff is in their chest where they need to be no empty chest make sure stuff is on armor stands oh god check the nether real quick too i got to make sure all these things are stable before

We do absolutely anything because i know if i have to revert that much progress again it’s going to kill me well i got put in a portal no way oh yeah i think i read something about that that they finally fixed where you don’t spawn in like yeah that

Worked on and that is revamping our nether and actually making a proper nether hub we i don’t think we still have a proper nether hub because i think a hub consists of linking portals together to make traveling in the overworld much faster and easier um we just basically built another mine

I still need to put the smoke up there everything looks good though what’s that oh all right it looks fine but i’m not going to give up on it yet i’m going to try to mess around with my newest save and try to just see if there’s a workaround for the trapdoors i

Doubt there is but i’m going to do everything i can um i’m just going to raise this video as it is sorry if it’s just kind of just a talking episode but i need to release something and i know i could have simply made like a newer let’s play world and just

Started off that but with all these new updates coming out i want to wait until i wanted to wait until caves and cliffs part 2 came out to start a newer world but now i’m now i’m thinking i want to wait until that wild update comes out because that

Update seems like it was almost built for me because i mean think about it so lots of decisions to make but uh i will not be waiting that long to make another episode knowing i have a working world now um so i’ll probably see you guys in
