Turtlemancy Mastery: ATM Spellbound Minecraft 1.16.5 LP EP #16

Hello again welcome back to asgard and welcome back to atm spellbound uh so since the last episode uh it has been a while uh of course we did have you guys missed it we did have a massive tornado in our area uh i actually just got internet back up

And we had power back a few days i’ll be releasing a video uh just kind of talking through it so i’m not gonna spend a lot of time uh within this episode um talking about the tornado but like i said there will be a video uh just kind of discussing discussing that

But um anyways uh i have been working on the us while i worked on it before the tornado um i had i hadn’t been able to access curse forwards due to not having internet so i wasn’t really able to do much on here which has been fine i’ve been really really busy

Um you know with with a lot of with a lot of real live stuff as you might imagine but i did set up this little area and i went out and i got a husk i got a villa or that’s our villager that we have uh a

Sheep and we have a spider and back in here we have a fish right there um basically just setting up our turtlemancy area for this episode we’re actually gonna need another altar i think but we’ll get to that i plan on having a few of them down here

Just for decoration and then if we step through here we actually have this is going to be um kind of like a sewer type area that runs through here and we have a couple turtles we have leroy and jenkins of course that’s the two turtles that we captured

Uh in the last episode and then if we come down through here uh down this really really small hallway we come down to this section which actually plugs into an area that we’re going to be working in in a later episode but then we have a bit of lava here this

Is not really finished in this area um originally i was planning on having it finished for this episode but then you know stuff happened so anyways that’s basically just to store up our turtles in that area i would attack him but it moves my armor

Stand so i’m just going to let him be for now and then i’ve been kind of just working on this outdoor area that kind of sits below uh our building of course we still have a lot to do uh going off in that direction but anyways let’s go ahead and jump into

What we’re going to be doing today um today we are going to be continuing on with turtleman so you know we still got some quests left and we actually still have a bit uh left to do i think first and foremost what we’re going to do is we’re going to

Start into some rituals and we’re going to work on getting our indestructible pearl uh so this is fragment of bedrock obsidian diamond and the improves scoot so let’s get that and let’s go ahead and grab our turtle blessings also and what we need to do is we need to

Right click the alter three times it’s going to change colors so you can see now it’s there we are okay anyways it’s going to change colors to blue and that means that the altar is now charged uh and then what we can do is for the indestructible pearl it’s an empty pearl

So we’re just going to make one of these and then we can just right click this onto the altar he’s going to hold that and then we need to throw the correct items at the altar like that and boom there is our indestructible pearl okay so we’re going to take the xp from

That and then we need to make our advanced wand uh which is going to be the indestructible pearl and then just our turtlemancer wand on top of that so we’ll go ahead toss that out and charge it up oops boom and there we go there is our new

Wand the turtle manser advanced wand and go ahead and grab that now that’s the basics of rituals now there are some rituals like if we take a look in the book um if we take a look over here at evil rituals these will require that you have

A red turtle so these are going to require that you charge it with the the magma turtle blessings which we’re going to be getting into those later this episode the turtle level rituals you can see it’s blue right there these require that you charge it with the regular turtle

Blessings and then there’s these which don’t have a color which means you can charge them with either essence it doesn’t matter which one you charge it with so in the case of our pearl and our advanced wand it doesn’t matter with that all right and then there’s uh this

Quest here which is just a check mark saying that we can use our wand to explode animals we’re actually going to do that this episode just to see it in action uh and then we need to get into essences um because you can see there’s different essences here which are required for

Various different things and some of these are going to be summoning rituals like this one here would summon this one would summon a shulker so if you ever see just glass bottle that’s the purpose of those but you can see like this here we can make like dragon heads with the enderman essence

It’s not as important for the enderman essence but some of these are a bit more important i think the quest only requires that we get the the turtle essence for right now uh but we do have access to the rest of these that’s why i set up the cages just so

That we had uh kind of ease of access with that but you can see like turtle essence with an emerald in a bowl we can make scoot and then there’s magmatic scoot which we can make and the magmatic turtle egg so we don’t even have to go to the nether

To find them though i do think we are going to go to the nether just to find them in their kind of wild their wild state and you can see we use it for the deep blue charm here with the water creature essence uh heart of the sea as well

So let’s get ourselves some bottles and you will notice i do have an undead essence in here i was making sure that husks could give us undead essence now but like if we click on misha you can see that we did get some human essence if we click on abraham you

Can see that we did get some animal essence if we click the spider we can got we got a arthropod essence if we click on the fish we did get water creature essence as well as a water bottle which whatever just toss that in there um if we click on say an enderman

We should have gotten enderman essence yep uh we’re actually gonna be setting this one up in that final cage but we’re not gonna do that just yet so we’re gonna put that away for the time being and then if we pop down either turtles or magmatic turtles we can get turtle essence so

That is the the different essences and of course the husk and we’ll grab one more of those just to do it on camera but you can see that we did get undead essence from that um these aren’t the only creatures you know any kind of aquatic creature can give us the

Uh the water essence any kind of pretty much farm animal can give us the animal essence um you know excluding like turtles and things like that um skeletons and zombies and stuff like that can give us undead i think illagers and probably witches could probably give

Us the human essence and so on so but we’re just going to go ahead and toss that in there for the time being and that does finish up that quest for us um and then let’s see there is the deep blue charm let’s go ahead and get that actually

And there we go there’s the deep blue charm now the charms i don’t remember is there any that we actually want to get i think the bewitch shell necklace is the only one that i really really want and of course to use that we’re gonna have to get rid of our ornate necklace

Which is armor toughness we’re really only gonna do it when it comes to like fighting guardians or something like that you know we’ll utilize it but i think for general play i don’t really need it and the deep blue charm and we’ve got movement speed and stuff all the time

So it’s not that important to us but we are going to be going for the bewitched shell necklace let’s go ahead and take that now the b wedge shell necklace to get the b witch shell it’s just going to be oysters with loppies and we’re actually

Going to be making a few of these um let’s go ahead and do say 16. and so if we charge this up and we throw on the oyster we toss down just a bunch of lappies okay yeah it’ll take it and then we can take our bewitch shell perfect

So we’ll just charge that back up toss down our lappies and make a few of these because we are going to want these and i could probably just pile up the lapis here like that and then just let it craft at least get a fair few of these because

We are going to need these um i don’t think we’ll make all of these because i’m gonna run out turtle blessings and there we go there’s 13 of them that should be sufficient for the time being i think and then to get our bewitch shell necklace there’s that

Because i want to make sure that we’ve got this because it will be useful because this is the one that gives us better underwater vision unlimited water breathing and night vision underwater so that’s gonna be pretty useful uh when it comes to underwater stuff so we will definitely be using that um

I probably will make the rest of the curios maybe just for the sake of it now they want us to get a shell of encapsulation which this is going to require the improved magmatic scoot so we’re going to have to set out for that like we can just make it with turtle essence

Okay yeah we we have to get it either from magmatic turtles um or from several magical ways so uh we can’t just harvest sand you know like we were able to do with the regular scoop we can’t do that for the magmatic now since we did upgrade our wand i want

To look at advanced spells we do get bubble leviosa 3 and self bubble leviosa 3. we also got turtles defense which gives us resistance three at the cost of slowness one which that’s pretty nice we can also explode cows for level uh or from for leather use the one against common blocks to

Instantly remove them without drops this spell works with any stone block dye rider andesite cobblestone sand in any sandstone dark netherrack and in stone we can we can still do the bedrock breaker we can get ice packed ice or blue ice that’s kind of nice and what about the improper spells

Uh lava bubble actually drags the target towards you you can explode villagers for emeralds and you get fire resistance too at the cost of getting slowness and then we get the advanced lava bubble fire resistance 3 and slowness 1 and we can explode turtles for scoot that would actually be pretty useful i’m

Assuming that we could probably use it on the magmatic turtles as well but anyways we are going to pop now into the nether um or no actually we’re going to get some magmatic scoop we’re just going to make it because the recipe for making it is actually extremely cheap

Because the essence of course is super easy to get and super renewable so we’ll just go ahead and get 16 of the turtle essence i feel like this is probably going to be the easiest way especially for making the magmatic scoop um it’s right over here

And so we’re just gonna throw in and i set this up with an ender hopper and a warp chest just so it could collect the items for us so we can just do like that oh yeah that’s really not gonna work without a filter is it um

No but i tell you what we can do we can just fill this up like that and then we can toss our items in and it’s only going to collect the magmatic scoot we could always do a drawer that would be fine but i think i don’t know i think the warped chest

Just looks better because there is no warped drawers so i think we’re going to go with that also if we had you know maybe like a hopper hawk with a item frame we might update to that later uh you know down the road but for now i think this will be good

Uh just to kind of filter this a little bit and there we go there’s our 16 magmatic scout now there is a quest here uh getting turtle curses okay um but let’s go ahead we need to upgrade this with little fragment of bedrock and magmatic scoot

So we’ll just toss that in and let that craft and get our improved magmatic scoot and then we should be able to get our shell of encapsulation oh yeah we’re gonna need some empty pearls let’s go ahead and get four of these and then we can get these

Oh yeah i’m out of uh improve scoot okay so let’s get a few more of those so there we go we got our shells of encapsulation now three of these i’m probably just going to toss into storage for the time being but we did get that that’s xp levels but

I’m not really all that worried about uh I’m not really worried about our xp at the moment um and then we do get a heavy sock i don’t know if i just want to put this down right up here yeah we’ll just put it down right up here and we’re not going to need the kraken

Shell absorb drowning damage at the expense of hunger we’ve got the bewitched shell necklace that’s not really useful to us um and these can be used for capturing mobs and of course they’re going to be used for the atm star as well now we are still going to get the

Armor we’re going to get to that in just a moment but let’s go in search of some nether turtles because i’m actually kind of curious about these and i remember the book saying where we could find these out it looks like they follow crimson roots and warped roots i’m assuming that we’re

Going to find them in the crimson forest and the warped forest so that’s what we’re going to start our search out and just see so let’s take a look for a crimson forest we did find one about 1800 blocks out in this direction so we’re going to head for that

But let’s see if we can find a magmatic turtle i’m assuming that they can swim in lava but i don’t know if that’s where we’re going to find them as lava or not i mean i guess worse comes to worse we could just hatch one from an egg as well

And also over here let’s grab our diamond knife and let’s cut into one of those uh and the reason being i think we’re gonna set up uh we can do it with pigs too i know but uh we might be oh good gosh what in the world propel plant cane

Let’s take a little bit of that real quick there we go it’s still on fire yeah let’s take a little bit of that um and you can see that we did get some ham that’s what i was looking for this we can use to make the either the

Raw stuffed hogland or we can smoke it and we can make the honey glazed ham because i was wanting to make that for christmas and that’s actually really all we need is a smoked ham we can also get this out of pigs so we might even set up a pig spawner

And uh do something with that maybe we also have to set up bees that might be something that we take a look at over the coming episodes because now christmas is fast approaching and uh yeah we definitely need to get that underway if we plan on having it set up for

Uh you know christmas time at least magma cube spawner this could be useful to us let’s take that but i don’t know if we want to do a hogland farm or a pro honestly probably a hogland farm and use poison maybe to get them to like

One health because i mean pigs are great and all but we’re gonna get more useful things out of a hogland farm because we’ll also get like leather and things and we’ll get the hogland chops and so i feel like that might be even better oh wait a second it says magmatic

Turtles do not spawn in the nether you must craft their eggs and suits if you don’t wish to breed them if you do wish to bring magmatic turtles they brew with warped crimson roots and lay eggs on netherrack oh okay so yeah we can’t even find them there not bad

I was thinking they would spawn somewhere in the nether but that is not the case okay we’ll just let this craft up then and we’ll just make a magmatic turtle egg or a few i don’t know we’ll see there we go and we’ll let that craft up and right right right

That that that oh it’s just uh i’m sorry it’s regular regular magmatic scoot there we go we just get a magmatic turtle egg um then let’s pop down we’re gonna get this thing growing up i guess So we’ll just put that in right there and then put our turtle egg down right there okay now while that’s hatching i totally didn’t realize that they didn’t uh naturally spawn i thought they would naturally spawn you know um okay now while we’re waiting let’s go ahead and get another

Turtle egg i think there we go uh because we are gonna need one for the quest i know uh right here so that should pretty much automatically complete that quest once we get our turtle curses so these are going to work the same way i wonder if there’s a way

To quickly hatch an egg oh and actually apparently this recipe that we were doing earlier you can get between one and three scoops i think we just got one per craft though okay yeah i don’t think we have anything at the moment to quickly hatch an egg that comes to mind um

You know if we had some other mods progressed uh there is some options there but i don’t i can’t think of anything off the top of my head for that well we’re just gonna have to wait it out i think to get our first magmatic turtle which is fine

I guess i probably should have hatched the egg first thing but what we are going to do while we wait let’s grab our our tortoise here now i have not found another turtle i did do a little bit of mining but um that is one thing that i didn’t quite

Get done which is fine not really a big deal what we’re going to do uh i actually don’t have a spot for them just yet either because they’d be able to jump i think i think they can jump right can they i think they can jump i think they

Can climb over things or whatever um but for right now let’s just put it down until i get an actual place figured out for it well let’s just put it right down here and then what we can do is let’s grab ourselves some cave roots and we’re going to tame this one

So we did get some hearts and so then if we feed it again you can see we did get some metals on there and then we can left-click that and you can see that we got a little bit of coal and then we can feed it again a few times

Now he’s not growing it um i was thinking there might be a cool down period for it i’m not for sure um but that’s fine and i want to say that they can passively just grow them but the cavern speeds it up but i could be wrong about that too

Not really a big deal and i don’t think it’s really a a method for generating a whole lot of ores but maybe we can generate a few off of our off of our tortoises perhaps it’s kind of what i’m thinking at least generate a few you know

Let’s check on our magmatic turtles make sure that they have not grown they have not i think as far as the quests go all they want us to do is get the turtle blessing this quest is pretty much a shoe in and then we have the

Dark turtle mansur one which we need the turtle curses for that now technically there is that let me see how much this makes because we might be able to just bypass having to wait on that to grow um at least to push on with the quest anyways

Even though this is a fairly expensive way to get curses in all actuality yeah we only get one for that so yeah i guess we could push on the quest though so there’s that there’s that and then they want us to get the turtlemancer wand and then the dark turtlenecks are blind

Which looks like it doesn’t matter what this is charged with so we might oh we’re gonna need four of those though i’m just going to wait till the turtle grows because i’m going to do that this episode anyways i want to let it grow so um

But let’s turn our attention over to the turtleman’s armor real quick because i would like to get this stuff it looks like this is going to be a whole bunch of bewitch shells so there’s that and then we’re going to need a whole bunch of this stuff

So we’ll go ahead and toss that in let that start running real quick i’m gonna go ahead and throw that into there so that it can start building up inside of that now this armor it gives us what six extra hearts and actually has pretty good stats i don’t know though that it’s

Really better than what we’ve got i think ours is slightly better by like one defense even though you get a little bit more knockback resistance and you do get the extra hearts so i don’t know it’s kind of neck and neck i think with the soul stained stronghold stuff

So we may end up enchanting a set of this to run as kind of an alternate set is there any other benefits over just the extra hearts now i think i think that’s it it’s just the extra hearts and the magmatic set it’s basically just quartz instead of

The bewitch shells so actually the magmatic set is a little bit cheaper in terms of crafting that than the bewitch set so but there is that let’s go ahead and get the chest piece and then we’re going to go ahead and get the legs

Okay now for the b wood shell i know i’m going to need some more turtle blessings let me go ahead i’m actually just going to afk okay so we’re gonna go ahead and get a few bewitch shales real quick uh just to finish out and get the helmet i think

And we’ll go ahead and charge that up might as well i don’t think it ever goes and there is our turtlemancer helmet so that’s all of that quest turtle fancy get a full suit of turtlemancer’s armor okay that finishes out the first half but we also have to get the magmatic set as

Well now we’re going to set up a set of these i’m wanting a set down here of h and i’m wanting a setup here of each uh so i’m thinking maybe we can enchant them differently but as far as how this armor looks that actually looks pretty good i like

The the fins on the side of the helmet a lot to be honest no it is still working on hatching okay well i might edit a little bit of footage real quick while i’m waiting okay so our baby turtle did just hatch look at that little guy

Like he’s so little let me actually take off uh for right now it’ll make them a little bit easier for these to see us can i get uh we are getting turtle curses yeah we’re getting turtle curses off the baby that’s great okay give me more curses

I did put down our other egg since we do have that quest completed i did put that down um so that hopefully it can hatch and then we can get another another turtle here so come on i’ve only got four give me more give me four little baby turtle

It’s so cute how small it is though uh so there’s 16 turtle curses that’s honestly probably going to be enough uh let’s pop back up and to get the dark turtlenecks of wand we’re gonna need this we are going to need that we’re going to need a basic turtlemancer wand

And then we can get this uh and then to upgrade it i think all we need is the indestructible pearl yeah so let’s go ahead let’s get that that okay improper turtlemancer and then we can just like before toss all this stuff in and there we go there’s that styled

And then we need the dark turtlemancer wand and then the instructable pearl and we’ll go ahead and load that up and there we go by the way these turtle statues do emit light so that’s kind of worth noting See okay a second here okay so that’s what uh that does the only thing is it opens up our uh our side book uh so i may have to change the hotkey there but uh but yeah this stuff is actually kind of nifty because it actually allows

Us to travel a good distance there and that is going to complete that quest there’s a few spells from these that i may want to keep on hand and we still have to explode an animal so we’re going to do that here in just a moment as well but to get these

The improved magmatic scoot this is uh just the magmatic scoot okay i don’t have any more of this made up now get our magmatic turtlemancer boots and we’re going to go ahead and take that let’s go ahead and get our magmatic turtlemancer helmet and our chest piece and our legs

So there we go chapter completed turtleman’s a challenge completed magmatic turtle fancy okay and we’ll go ahead and just put this onto this armor stand and there we go oh this one has like a bit of nether quartz that comes off the side there kind of looks like the flash almost like

Some kind of uh alternate color flash outfit or something and that has actually finished our turtlemancy chapter at this point we’ll go ahead and take that and now turtlemancy is completed and i think we’ve pretty much uh i do want to make a turtle boat real quick

Let’s grab that because i want to see how fast of a boat this is and beyond that i think we’ve covered pretty much everything from this mod at least that we want at the moment but let’s see how fast of a boat this is this is a pretty nice uh

Actually a pretty fast boat to be honest um will be quite nice for uh for uh i was gonna say turtle travel for water travel because that thing is quite nice now let’s head over to the oval world real quick or actually we might try it with a sheet too

Because i’m actually going to be moving sheep over and i don’t need this many sheep because i can breed them once we get back okay so it just so this is like a ranged break only so much range though yeah if it’s out of range it throws out those bubbles

Huh but you’ll notice it doesn’t give blocks but it does um drop grass and things like that so there is that oh reflective and wounding there we go boom what did we get we got helen fusion 6 and permafrost we did get a skeleton spawn egg

Okay let me blow up a chicken i want to say uh i want to see a chicken get blown up boom okay so i was thinking well they would like blow up but we got 18 feathers off of that that’s actually extremely good like if

We were to get like 18 wool or something i think we’re just getting like three wool um so realistically it’s not seeming like blowing up sheep is really worth it especially you know shearing i usually don’t kill sheep i was thinking we could do it with squid right

Yeah there we go 17 ink socks off of a single squid whoa yeah that’s way better for like squid and chickens and stuff 45 no wait there’s still more oh wait that’s the uh the raw squid but yeah that’s incredibly nice but we can actually blow up a variety of

Creatures for resources so especially whenever i’m out looking for ink socks and stuff you know maybe for making books for occultism it would have been nice but that time has mostly come in past we’re still going to be doing some of course some stuff with occultism but

The bulk of our needs is kind of past at this point but uh anyways i know it’s about wrapping up point for this episode so i’m gonna wrap this one up here um i’ll try to get another probably another video out this weekend and then i’ll uh

Probably have a video out this weekend about you know just discussing the storm and stuff like having a proper video about that um about that experience and and kind of the days that followed and some of the stuff that uh that happened during that so but anyways i hope you guys enjoyed the
