throwing it back we got an old-fashioned mining episode with a focus on mind Chefs hopefully at some point in this episode we’ll be able to find one of these things I’m going to talk how you can find one and tips and tricks hacks for them once you do fun so sit back relax and let’s play a little game and down below in the Comments no cheating what do you think this single older structure in all of Important I know I know how much you love mine shafts I know deeply you would wish to come to the Mind chat but no instead you have a little bit of a stake here and just keep the house clean okay it’s from him get out of here bright and early the next morning as the rain clears off of my beautiful Fjord Bridge it’s time to set on an adventure mine shaft and mine shaft mine shaft of Mine Chef where in the world could I find one of these things in the last episode we found Satan’s cave it’s underneath our crop farm that could be a potential spot or maybe this spot too big giant open cave but look at around here scanning it all all I see is a Bunch of bad mean mops no shaft ah Minecraft 1.18 the caves and cliffs update the update that overrated all of Minecraft’s generation and turned it into the beautiful beauty that it is nowadays we got rolling large Hills gigantic mountainous mountains and you know just in general a whole lot of Beautiful land when it comes to locating a mine shaft I don’t know if there’s any specific rule like they generate more commonly down low but definitely for a certain I can tell you that I don’t commonly find a mine shaft sticking out of the side of a like a mountain or Crossing a fjord as cool as that would be is that always gonna mean the probably the best spot to start our search today is gonna be down low or at least like relatively low we’re talking like ground or water level if we look around down here hopefully before too Long we’ll be able to find some kind of big cave slide into the cave and poof it’s just like that magic I did it mmm The Lads Lads Lads I have a little bit of a explaining to do look here in between episodes I was selling around in My beautiful for your just checking things out looking for leads and maybe when it comes to a lead I might have found one if not a lead for mine shaft to definitely a lead for beautiful blue shimmering shining diamonds magma blocks right here I saw him at the bottom of This thing and I have a feeling this might get a little bit deeper here we take a look at the big K yes we take a look at the big cave we can make this big cave hopefully go deeper and deeper and deeper hopefully somewhere he has Deep slay we find deep slate and hopefully inside of this cave I’d find a little bit more rare cause I’m about to drop all right it’s a big cave a big giant deep cave We Begin our search for mine shaft indirectly here today today we would like to find a mineshaft but today I would also dream of hopefully finding some shiny blue diamonds if I could find some diamond is that a cave ooh that definitely looks like a cave right there oh is this a bad idea this could be a oh there’s a lot of moms in there that’s a Terrible idea never mind never I take it back I’ll take it back if I could get my hands on just a few shimmering shining diamonds back over at the base so I can make like a shovel maybe a hoe or something like that well I would be a Very happy satisfied lad and I feel like this might be the spot to look diamonds diamonds come on come on Wherever You Are look I’m not accepting defeat hi and I won’t be tricked by any more glow like him but if I can’t find diamonds it’s fine I got an alternative backup plan That will pull off very soon but please don’t make me use the backup friends look at this what did I say don’t make me use the backup I’m being swarmed by a bunch of swamp disgusting bile creatures you rig what does that smell you smell like sea water the muddy Sea water this minute defecated in oh buddy even more beautifully I said don’t make me do it and they didn’t make me do it where did it go yes right there the beautiful shimmering Rock itself I knew I could find it eventually Diamond you’re coming oh there’s so many they’re All coming home with me after I could breathe a little bit that would be nice oh and for once in my life Fortune is doing its job actually it’s actually fortunate the fortune to Diamonds yes please give me more give me like 10 to 20 maybe even 35. please 35 diamonds 35 Oh it was my dream oh there’s a cave though it’s not 35 diamonds but it is a cave okay all right now look I think dropping into the cave from the sky is maybe a terrible terrible idea but I would need to take a Oh I would need to take a look this is a beautiful looking cave look at so many mobs all over the place but wow that’s a gorgeous looking bit of lava right there look at the glow like and that’s funny I’ve never seen that wow oh that’s a Stunning cave I need these coordinates we’re gonna come back later this doesn’t look like a mine shaft to me it would probably burn up oh my gosh though cave biomes the drip Zone cave biome it’s such a beautiful looking biome maybe admittedly not the best spot to find diamonds because of All the drip Stone all over the place but wow that is good looking Hi friend what do you have in your hand is that perhaps the very first nautilus shell of the world oh it does appear to be so And so after mining around inside of this big water aquifer for a little bit more time I find a couple more Blue Rocks but not the right kind of Blue Rocks admittedly if we’re looking for mine shafts an aquifer is probably not it however what could be it you never Know but hopefully what could be it is we could use the aquifer at least that’s what I was hoping and thinking of we use the aquifer to lead us down to a cave where I could like land safely and start exploring a little bit more almost like That deep cave but maybe not so dangerous kind of like something like this this aquifer is very suspicious grass right there that’s a high sign clearly evident that this aquifer is cutting something off and so the old aquifer trick we talked about earlier on yes yes it almost flawlessly works every time You’ve got a suspicious looking aquifer you go to the end of the thing and break it out hopefully that thing will lead you smack dab into a cave and then your search can truly begin and then your search can truly to Julian and then your search can truly end excuse me go away That was easy that was way too easy cut cut hold up I didn’t even get to talk about the mine shaft structure the mine shaft structure is a structure that is going to generate every time fully under the ground unless you’re in a specific Bible we’ll talk about that Later every single time this thing is going to generate fully under the ground never will this thing generate fully submerged inside of water in fact actually aquifers will cut off the mine shaft when it comes to Common Minecraft structures The Mineshaft is actually one of them picking a random spot and going Back under the ground over here we had a mine shaft over there and look at this by chance coincidentally another one right over here in the grand scheme of your Minecraft world you should be able to find one of these things like relatively easily other than the special Version of the mine shaft my number one mine shaft finding tip is find any biome it’s not a Minecraft doesn’t matter planes whatever find a cave in that biome and get down into the cave my number two Mineshaft to finding tips and trick here is gonna be find a big cave You see if you can find a big cave kind of like the big dream someone said I was taking a look at earlier maybe you’ll be able to find a mine shaft bridging across the thing obviously being in the caves an environment fully made out of Zone if you see one I mean it stands out like a sore thumb it’s very very obvious nah not in my chapter the mine shaft is an ancient Minecraft Structure this thing was added to the game back on September 9th 2011. it’s been in the game this thing has been in the game Longer than I’ve been alive one of the most dangerous parts of the mine shaft is this little buddy right here it’s called the cave spiders water the cave spider spawner puts one of the most disgusting mobs in Minecraft into the world I hate it hey I hate it sure sure But on the other hand I have a love-hate relationship with it I mean after all it is definitely a spawner and 100 being a spotter because I can make a beautiful Farm out of this boy spider where are you I see you in there or saw a I want to ruin my chest and the excitement that I would have had from it all of the joy it’s been sapped and sucked out of my life thanks a lot buddy that’s not cool that’s not cool at all I would that even talk about this water and let alone if There’s a chest and there or there was a chess minecart in there with ludens go to loot inside of it looks like a golden apple for sure a couple torches some lapis yeah that’s real real nice anyways this thing it’s a spawn it’s a unique spawner to The Mineshaft it’s dangerous The Mineshaft structure itself has a couple different components to it including abandoned corridors the abandoned Corridor is the piece of the structure where you’ll be able to find these spotters the spawner it is of course a spawner your eyes don’t deceive you which means there’s gonna be mobs They’re gonna pop into the world from this thing if you oh hi good friend a do-over thank you if you got a spawner inside of your thing it’s a great idea to light it up all around this thing I do not recommend removing this monitor because you can make a wonderful little Farm out of the thing however absolutely light this thing up because these mobs are dangerous they can poison you and the poison it won’t take you out of the world but it will get you down to one half hard then this Rider will tap you One time and take you out I don’t know from experience I just heard about it now typically inside of a mine shaft you’ll have interlocking corridors you have basically long hallways with some like braces inside of the hallway holding up the cave if you will these hallways will sometimes lead to other Hallways but other times they get cut off you’re also going to be able to find staircases inside of the mine shaft the mine shaft is a multi-layer structure meaning like it goes up and it goes up inside of the corridor sections of the mine shaft so like places like this with The wooden braces well that’s where you will be able to find all of the loot inside of the mine shaft the loot will always be inside of these chest mine carts right here now the loot inside of this thing oh you can get some pretty oh No way after all of my hard work longing striving and dreaming of the silk touch enchantment just like that poof I bought a silk touching Shaman I found a golden apple I found diamonds I find it all today that’s in the luck is off the chart it’s Immaculate that means one Thing and one thing only we can’t continue our we can’t end our adventure fight at all the loot inside of the mine shaft is surprisingly good for such a relatively common structure some of my favorite things you’ll be able to bind here enchanted books gold and apples That are beautifully golden in a big cave wonderful very cool engine baby most favoritely of all the name tags this is an amazing spot to be able to find name tags and well well well would you take a look at what time it is already I can’t believe how time has Flown my inventory is fully clogged already to help ensure the success of our mission today what I’m going to do is set up a small resource chest up here on the ground relatively close to home when I’m done mining looting and exploring for the day I’ll make a quick Stop at this spot and bring all of this waterfall loot back home aside from the loot one of the best things about The Mineshaft is of course all of the exposed oars inside of this thing but actually common misconception about it auras don’t generate more frequently During the Mind chat I’m not too sure to be honest where that rumor came from but it did come from even though it might feel like ores are a whole lot more common near The Mineshaft is not true all that’s really going on here is instead you have a mine shaft that is Cutting through terrain exposing a whole lot of Horrors that otherwise would be fully encased in stone like you’d miss them and uh hold up hold up how big is this copper vein is I mean I know they can get a little bit big there’s no way this Is a copper or Mega vein but like I think I probably just about build my inventory up I I literally did with copper okay that note to self don’t pick up any more copper it’ll fill my entire inventory up just come back for it later the main Piece that makes up the five pieces of the mine shaft puzzle is a part of the structure called the corridor the corridor is marked off by a whole lot of braces they kind of like hold up the ceiling or whatever from time to time you’ll be able to find torches on those Braces obviously a great source of torches especially if you’re down deep but also if you think about it a little bit combine the small amounts of light that you’ll be able to find in the mine shaft with the post Minecraft 1.18 mob spawning mechanics and that’s gonna mean Sometimes the mod shaft could be relatively safe all over the mine shaft you’ll be able to find a beautiful decorating Block it’s a great idea to have shears hot and ready inside of the mine shaft if you end up getting caught inside of a cobweb mined it out with Shears relatively quickly for the cobweb alternatively if you just hate the cobweb you could use your sword it’ll break at the same speed but cobwebs aren’t craftable so maybe use shears just in case another mine shaft it’ll basically generate and cut across caves if an aquifer generates the aquifer will cut Off the mine shaft you might have to mine through the aquifer if The Mineshaft generates where it would be floating you’ll have wooden corridors right here like supports the creeper I saw you where’d you go these wooden corridors depending on how far the floor is Will generate with logs Connecting the floor all the way down to the all the way down to the other floor yeah yeah yeah yeah that’s gonna mean if you’re looking for wood relatively quick and easily then this is like not a bad spot if you’re looking for beautiful change maybe for all of your builds that You’ve been building back over at your base oh it’s a great spot too and also defense is these things are like ripe with materials all over the grind you find rails as well yeah there’s so many iron things inside of this thing that you could like Source out of this thing And be able to use on other things inside of your thing Andy Cole and cold coal is so nice too even though ores don’t generate more frequently near the mine shaft one of the big uses for these things is cutting down into them and using them as like a Quick and easy relatively safe way to do a little bit of mining in your world copper I hate you you clogged my inventory stay here I’ll come back later one of the biggest tips I have for you when exploring a mine shaft is on dead ends place the torch on the wall that Way if you turn a corner and look down and sees say a torch on a wall like that that means you already checked down that hallway and it’s also a dead end you already been there so it looks like I got a whole nother level to the mine Shaft but I might be able to find a different staircase to lead my way down there I’ll go back over to the mine shaft to grab some of the oars and keep exploring another beautiful way to never get lost inside of the mine shaft is place your Torches on one of the walls either the left or the right it doesn’t really matter by being consistent place the torches on one wall you can follow the Torches backwards on your way out of the mine shaft if you’re worried about getting lost another piece of the mine chapter that Every Mineshaft will have is the starting room fun fact about this room right here it’s going to be a 10 by 10 room and it will never exist in the chunk that has zero zero inside of your world every single time The Mineshaft will have one of these rooms though this is Where it technically begins generation and when it comes to Mineshaft generation these things actually generate before other chunk features generate inside of your world that’s gonna mean things like Wars and everything like that The Mineshaft kind of just generates and then the ore’s generator around Hmm so mine shaft is breaking up a whole lot let’s get it deeper too once you get a little bit lower inside of the mindjav you gotta watch out being in the corridors that are a little bit lower than the other ones now definitely we’re At risk of mobs jumping down on me from the from up above and if it’s a creeper instantaneous explosion chains you’re so beautiful you come with me it also seems that basically every single time you have a mine shaft to generate there will be a cave connecting To the mine shaft every single time to be honest I’m not 100 sure if that’s a generation ruled or what that just seems to always be the case You’ll be able to find are these things called like intersections sometimes these intersections could be multi-story a great way to travel up and down other times you’ll just have these tiny Corners right here where mobs could hide surprise and Kaboom so be careful the technical name for these cross Sections that look like this it is going to technically be called well the cross one of the biggest most useful things inside of the mine shaft is actually sounds when exploring a mine shaft turning your sounds or subtitles on even to be able to find where other Mobs are or maybe where flowing water could be because flowing water requires a little bit of space to to well flow if you’re overflowing water that means you probably either have a cape or an open unexplored Corridor nearby when I find a corridor with flowing water what I like to do every single Time is block the water off get rid of it and when I find a corridor that looks like this it appears to be a dead end but it’s bridging over something 100 that means we got a cave or maybe even a lower part of the mine shaft right below It it’s not a bad idea to break it out just to see another mine chapter misconception that we’ve got here is that there is a set amount of spawners that you will find in every mine shaft every single where are you coming from what are you down there oh there you are You sneaky little rat anyways with these caves spider corridors the abandoned ones there’s not a set amount of corridors that you can find inside of a mine shaft theoretically you could find 25 if your mind shaft was big enough or you could find none you’re unlucky well Well a creeper friend trying to sneak up on me and blow up this water hey not so fast in a staircase that goes deeper and deeper I don’t think I’m anywhere near Diamond range unfortunately not really but if you found a mine shaft inside of the display range well to be honest that One’s probably a little bit better you won’t find any coal generating on the side because you’re too deep but you could definitely find diamonds it’s not a bad way to find it don’t be fooled by the long cobweb corridors sometimes because of the sheer amounts of cobwebs inside of them the Volume it might look like it actually ends but it could be a little bit deceiving the corridor might continue so great idea to dig the cobwebs out and keep going If eventually you find a part of the mine shaft that kind of breaks up into the cave like it does right here it Is likely that that’s the end of the mine shaft you go to run into the game and get a little bit lucky and maybe find more of The Mineshaft or even a second one they can’t generate near each other oh or a beautiful cave open to the sky that’s so cool Anyways mineshafts are interconnected mazes they will never break up by a cave and just stop for a long time that is unless an aquifer generals they’ll cut off the mine shaft completely the deeper we go the deeper we go hopefully the closer we get to Diamonds I think it’s So unlikely that a mineshaft will continue to cut all the way to deep slight range but you never know maybe I’ll get lucky and I guess just mine a million caves spider rooms hi buddy go away I don’t like you alright so this one I’m not too sure I would have to Like check the cords later on but this one might be close enough to the other one for a double spawn yeah mine shafts are a great spot to find a double spawner setup yeah it was butter games whether I know I hear you’re hiding aren’t you no not there probably over There aha there you are giving yourself away at the corner check this out you could actually shoot right through the corner and hit the mob if it’s close enough to the corner please go to the corner yeah go to the corner Thank you and so just a tiny bit of mining later and Lads I think we may be just about did it for this mine shaft from the looks of things at this point I think I’ve checked out basically every single Corridor here at every single dead end I’ll put a torch something like that the mine shop got really really big down this way really sprawling but I think I found every single part of it the only hallways that I haven’t really gone off of is this one over here it looks like It goes up and down a little bit aside from checking these things out for the actual loot that you’ll be able to find inside of the containers and maybe mining a little bit inside of them probably the best thing that the mine shaft is for is all of these raw Materials you’ll be able to find tons of rails here tons of fences are relatively expensive block cobwebs and maybe even a spawn or two well I run around to this newfound part of the mine shaft fun fact did you know there’s not one type of mine chapter but Actually two separate types of mine shaft structures that exist in Minecraft if you find a mine shaft in any Minecraft biome that isn’t the Badlands biome it’ll look like the one that we’ve been in today however if you could buy one in any of the battle and biome Variants then it’s going to be swapped out we’ve got the same structural components Crossing corridors everything like that the spawners as well except only this time although the oak wood has been swapped out for dark oak wood also when generating inside of the Badlands the generation rules have completely Shifted mineshafts can actually generate clear on the surface inside of this bile making for some pretty cool Aesthetics combine this cool mine shaft generation with the increased rates of gold ore inside of this biome and you’ve got a recipe for sweet sweet profit personally I definitely feel that it’s Kind of a tragedy that more biomes don’t have a unique mine shaft in Minecraft there’s so much opportunity there there’s so much opportunity here and also there’s so much opportunity with the pointed drips on block hi friends you’re coming home with me and so Lads as I cleanly finish up this Final Corridor the mine shaft and then quickly pack up to go back home let’s take a look at today’s comments of the day I have to be 100 honest ever since I saw this comments for the comments of the day it’s not left my mind so the trails And tales update that’s the name of it well a question was sharding and sniffing ever considered instead of trails and Tails huh you are well that’s well that’s very philosophical a great question I know I know I gotta clean up the storage situation and maybe the rest of The Interior I’ll admit it maybe I never finished it but hey we have forever inside of this world I’ll get around and do it later when it comes to Pure profits from today’s episode we are profiting purely look at all this wonderful stuff I mean out of the two Chests that I found on a silk touch book that’s gonna be great and a golden apple I mean I can’t complain all of the other loot yeah at least for now I’m just gonna kind of throw it inside of this Justin I’ll organize it later and I think these Might be the first pumpkin seeds too so at sunset here beautifully well what’s that it’s time for today’s bonus build of the day for today’s little bonus build I want to do something a little bit different because of the spot where we’re at right now inside of this world I don’t really Want to go too crazy and add something huge instead there’s a rabbit right there what I would like to do is capture this rabbit my friend and my dear friend come over here no you don’t want the carrot yeah you want the carrot you’re gonna come with me this is gonna set us Up for something later rabbit rabbit you come with me come live with my sniper friends I mean I might be mistaken here but I’m pretty sure the rabbit being so small it should be able to be trapped by the fences I don’t think you’re gonna get out right And then a rabbit of rabbit I found a second one over here a long time ago I think it’s been stuck on this block or something if I could get these other rabbits to follow me too and just trap them inside of the sniffer pen look I Mean I know it’s not much but this will help later on trust me and also while we’re at it I suppose why not we found some more iron we’ve got the chains we can finally add a couple other details of some of the builds we got around the base chain right there With the lizard on it oh that looks so good and the snippers love it I got the Lantern on the front porch too I can’t wait till I have an iron farm well that’s a problem that’s a big problem I didn’t know you could go right through the window stop it Not so fast not so fast you’re coming back with me All right I don’t know who gave you that idea but you’re absolutely not doing that I’ll close it up for good and this one I I think it’ll be good hopefully they won’t be able to jump out of there anyways the Minecraft guide episode number 27 the
