We survived a hundred days in hardcore minecraft as a duo rick and i agreed that surviving on an island could be a fun twist especially due to the lack of animals and the large amount of mobs that spawn if you’d like to see rick’s perspective

The link to his channel will be in the description below there we are day one we spawn on a very small island with a bunch of trees so we immediately started collecting some wood oh and by the way if you’d wish to play in this world the seed will be in the

Description below next off rake found a cave right under us and he crafted me a stone pickaxe so that i could mine some coal i used that pickaxe to get a bit of stone as well to be able to craft some more tools so i made myself an axe and a sword

And then i headed out for some food as there were no animals on the island i had to turn to the sea for fish break noticed an ocean temple in the distance when we saw that we immediately headed off because basically living near a temple would give us

A mining fatigue i’ll operate drive the boat so that i could relax in the back and soon enough we arrived on another island that seemed quite decent because it had a large flat area in the front that we could build on we made a cozy little dirt hut

And i picked up some flowers to decorate the entrance the night came along rapidly so we both went inside to be safe and i went down to continue the mind rick had started our goal was to mine all night because we hadn’t found any sheep to make beds

And also we needed iron to craft ourselves some armor and a sword to be able to defend ourselves against the hostile mobs outside we began strip mining in opposite directions and a few minutes in i found my first diamonds i honestly couldn’t believe how lucky i was

This is literally the first time ever that i found diamonds so early in the game moments later i came across a skeleton and i just ran for it because i had no food no protection and above all i couldn’t risk it in hardcore he then made some cobblestone stairs to

Get back up from the mine to our surprise three cows a sheep and a wolf had spawned i picked up some weed and i managed to get the cows in a pen at that moment rake remembered that wolves killed sheep the wolf’s eyes had turned red so he had

No choice but to kill it on the upside we now had some wool to make beds i started making myself some armor and then ray gave me an apple because my health was getting quite low we spent the rest of the day mainly gathering wood and planting saplings as evening came

We had enough wheat to feed the cows our main problem now is food because we needed the cows for leather and we couldn’t just kill them all straight away what we needed was string to make a fishing rod we killed our first mobs this very night in the hope of getting

String as well as bones to make bone meal i then went back mining whilst rakes did at the surface it was a very productive night because i found some gold more diamonds and plenty of coal day three right gave me a fishing rod and managed to craft by killing some spiders during

The night this gave us a drastic ease on the food situation we are now an unlimited source of fish so of course i spent the whole day fishing at one point ray started building a little dock on my left and we were planning to build a few things on it in the future

By the end of the day the dock was completed and we both headed back to our dirt hut rake had made some beds so we slept for the night On day four i used rake stock to fish for a bit i then felt like we needed a small upgrade from the dirt hut so i started the construction of a fishing hut rake had been out fishing and he actually got a name tag and it came in quite handy

You’ll soon know why i used oak for the walls and stone breaks for the roof and i basically just spent the rest of the day building As the night came rake and i killed a few mobs that had spawn on the island i then smelted a bit of sand to make some glass panes the next day i moved on to the floor and i replaced the sand with stripped-out logs i made some large flower pots to

Decorate the outside of the house i didn’t have a large choice in flowers so i used some poppies i’d found i used some seagrass to breed two turtles i don’t really know why because there isn’t much point in doing so but i guess maybe i find the execute i don’t know

By the end of day five i moved the beds into the fishing hut and we slept day six was exploration day we went off in our boats and we quickly came upon a broken portal and we looted the chest the loot wasn’t that good but there was

A silk touch pickaxe that could come in quite handy we continued on our way and found a sunken ship and in the chest we found a treasure map then we found what we were looking for a spruce forest rake really enjoys building with spruce wood so we cut down some logs

And picked up some saplings we also saw some smoke in the distance and found a village where we spent the night On day seven we decided to bring back two villagers in our boats i struggled a bit at first but i finally got him in my boat i almost fell off of the bridge we had made but thankfully i didn’t when i reached the river we headed back home

And on our way we found a sort of ruin at the bottom of the ocean oh and by the way tell me in the comments if you know what it’s called we sailed back home and when we arrived the evening was about to fall so we left the villagers

In the cove and we went to bed so that no zombies would spawn and kill them on day eight i planted a few berries i’d found in the spruce forest and i placed a row of slabs on top to prevent us from taking any damage whilst we harvest the berries

I then moved on to making the crop farm larger and i found a bit of clay nearby by this stage i was getting quite hungry and i’m not gonna lie this is my first time playing hardcore and i wasn’t paying enough attention to my hunger bar day nine was devoted to terraforming so

I dug up and placed dirt for most of the day at one point i actually saw chicken in the ocean so i went to my farm to get some seeds and when i came back i saw it disappear in the distance and when i went over with my boat it was gone vanished

On day 10 i gathered a lot of wood did a bit of farming and that was it on days 11 to 12 i picked up some berries did a bit of terraforming and raked actually made a villager breeder so i went to have a look at it

We were starting to get a bit low on iron so i decided to run back down to the mines and mine for a bit on day 13 rake brought me down to a cave he had discovered my mind some obsidian with the diamond pickaxe i had

To be able to make an enchanting table oh after all this creeper business i harvested as much sugar canes as i could to make paper and then i continued flattening the hill so that ray could start building a large base on day 15 rake showed me how his villager breeder worked

I then started making a path connecting our builds and then i went up the hill to see how rake was getting on with the foundations of the future base i then went back down to cut as many trees as i could because we would both be needing a lot of wood for building

I also planted all the saplings i had in a line to make it easier to collect the wood from day 16 to 21 everything was starting to take shape we had no longer a food problem and the island was slowly turning into our home we had plenty of crops growing and the

Cattle population was growing more and more at this point i decided to build a little shop with a tavern on the side i used the clay i had found to make some decorative pots and i also cut down some spruce trees even though i was actually not gonna use some spruce

Wood for my house but i’m sure it came in handy for rake i used some campfires and some fences to make a small roof over the future bar i then continued expanding the dock on day 22 we needed some more coal so we went back down in the cave

We came across a lot of mobs and that was due to the fact that all the mobs created a cluster in the underground of our island especially during the day when they can’t spawn at the surface after we killed off the remaining mobs i started mining for some

Obsidian because the next day we would be entering the nether on day 23 to 24 we built the nether portal and entered everything seemed fine at first we had spawned in a rather secluded area and then i walked straight into lava at that moment i thought i was finished

And that we would have to start all over again but somehow one and a half hearts away from death i survived once i got my health back up we headed off in the nether and found a warped forest there was actually a crimson forest nearby and we were amazed at how the green

Forest was way more peaceful only mobs that actually spawned there were enderman’s so we killed a bunch and got some ender pearls then we found another fortress after looting some chests we headed up to the blaze spawner we killed a fair few to get some blaze rods that we would be using

To make some potions we were planning on defeating the ender dragon as well as curing a villager so we definitely needed the blaze rods once we had collected enough rods we continued exploring the fortress and we found a few more chests as well as some netherwarts which are essential for brewing certain potions

On day 25 we came back from the nether and unloaded i went to have a look at how rake was getting on with this house and i did a bit of farming too on day 26 i saw that a spider had climbed up the side of the house

So i knocked it off i then moved on to brewing so i used a fermented spider eye to make some weakness potions i continued my shop tavern house whatever you want to call it i use some stripped oak logs because they kind of look as if they have absorbed a lot of water

On day 27 i spent the whole day literally the whole day um making the roof of the house so i used some stone bricks as well as stone brick stairs as the night came i joined rake in the main base to sleep on day 28 i admired the beautiful

Birch tree rake had planted i then plunged into the ocean to get some sea pickles that i would be using as glasses for my tavern craig pointed out that before i stripped the logs on my house it looked a bit like a noob house which i probably am anyway so

On day 29 i started decorating the little shop i also killed a few mobs that had spawned on the island how should i put this so basically i decided to cut down red’s birch tree and i guess a creeper had the same idea on day 30 i decided to make some cute

Little chairs and tables for my tavern i expanded the dock a bit and then i went to cut down a lot of trees so i did that for most of the day and i also did a bit of terraforming that night i slept alone in the house because rake had gone down mining

And guess what the next day he flaunted his diamonds right in front of me after showing off reik noticed that there was an enderman so we decided to kill it i then started making a stone brick wall to separate the dock from the island on day 32

I used some spruce fences to embellish the wall craig used the mine cart to bring over a villager that would be the owner of the shop i had made the irish girl in me called him a paddy on day 33 i destroyed and rebuilt the archway

I’d made at the entrance of the dock four tries later i was finally satisfied the next day guess who was waiting for me a creeper i did not want him to explode right next to my builds but i managed to kill him quickly i continued building the wall around the

Dock and then i felt like going to check out the coral reef i’d seen earlier so i took the silk touch pickaxe rake had enchanted to be able to get some on day 35 i put down a few trees and then i expanded the farm

A bit closer to the fishing hut i must say i quite like the design of the composter rick had made with a few chests and some trapdoors in the afternoon i headed out to sea because i wanted to make an xp farm i knew it would work quite well

Because the ocean limits the spawning of mobs to the caves deep underground i’m not going to bore you with all the buildings so i raised the speed up but yeah i basically spent the whole of day 36 just building my mob farm at one point i was running out of blocks

So i decided to head home to get more and a creeper had spawned at the bottom of the farm because i had forgotten to play switches so he had fun tormenting me on days 37-39 i went back mining for some stone mainly but i also found plenty of other ores [Applause]

On days 50 to 51 i was afk not very interesting on the contrary the next few days i found some diamonds and some gold rake actually tried to steal some but i took care of him using all the diamonds i got i made myself a full diamond armor then rake showed me a

Tower he had been building while i was mining but i guess it wasn’t quite finished yet because it was still missing a roof but i must say the idea was brilliant because we now had an elevated place with a beautiful view i then sailed back to the xp

Farm and i worked on it from days 50 to 51 i placed down some slabs to prevent spiders from spawning and then i went back home to get some hoppers on day 52 i placed down the chests and the hoppers and i took out all the lights

On days 53 to 66 we mainly stayed afk by the xp farm and once we got 30 xp we would go enchant our stuff on the enchanting table that right had placed in his tower at one point rake thought it would be funny to drag me into the ocean with a fishing rod

One night there was a thunderstorm rake was outside fishing in the storm with his spout the drowned fisherman then lightning struck the water and a skeleton horse appeared being quite far from a minecraft veteran i had no idea what i was getting myself into i immediately swam up to the surface

Rake was much braver than me so he swam down and attacked them managed to kill one of the horsemen and tame the horse here’s the name tag we got to name him eric so shout out to anyone named eric i managed to get power 4 on my bow

And then i went back to the farm to get more speed and when i came back i got protection for on my leggings when the night came we killed a few phantoms because we needed the membrane to make slow falling potions on day 67 i brewed some slow falling potions

And some strength potions as preparation for the ender dragon fight day 68 to 73 rick and i realized it was time to get some ancient debris so we strip mined at level 14. it was not long before i found my first ancient debris at one point i found three ancient

Debris on top of each other in a straight line and i’d never seen that before on day 74 to 75 i smelted my ancient debris to make netherite scraps i also went ahead and changed the display of the cow pen i dropped everything down one block and

I put some lamp posts in the corners i then returned to the xp farm to get some xp on day 76 to 78 i went back down in the mine and i somehow got 180 slap by spider and then i basically mind in mind and Mind i want to take a moment to tell you that i hope you’re all well and that you’re all managing to keep a bright spirit in those strange and difficult times my heart goes out to all of you who have lost someone and i hope you’re keeping up okay

By the way tell me in the comments if there is anything you’d like to see on this channel because i’m open to suggestions and i do my best to read as many comments as possible On day 79 to 81 i came back to the surface with 19 diamonds i was really really happy i mined them all with a fortune pickaxe and i got 42 diamonds out of it i then went over to an anvil and i repaired the two pickaxes

As i only had 24 levels left i decided to afk at the xp farm and indeed xp farms that are above an ocean work wonders on day 82 i decided to make a small shelter or barn for the cows i used some spruce logs some spruce fences

As well as stone brick blocks and slabs once i’d finished with the roof i struggled to remove all the oak fences to replace them with spruce ones i then had to change the lamp post to fit with the rest of the fencing i used stone brick slabs for the ceiling on the inside

And then i headed out to continue the wall by the end of day 82 i went and freed poor eric from his awful block prison and rode him into a spruce pen on the other side of the island you remember well on day 7 we had found a treasure map

And we had completely forgotten about it so of course on day 83 we set off to find the treasure chest we completely dug up a whole beach until rake found the chest and it was actually filled with great stuff on our way back we luckily came upon a broken portal

As we had arrived home in the middle of the night a few creepers had spawned so i killed them all with my bow Freak and i got a bit of tnt so we went back in the nether to find some ancient debris we quickly ran out of tnt and then rake realized how silly we had been he had actually made a very effective mob farm himself and we had forgotten to go afk next to

It to get lots of gunpowder so we immediately ran back up to the portal ran over to the boats and went over to the farm We stopped for a moment to watch the creepers fall down and rake seemed quite impressed so we had to go very very high in the sky for the farm to work very well the netherrack hut was quite tiny but it was more than enough for being afk

From days 86 to 89 we stayed afk and on day 89 we went back down and ray tried jumping or whatever and he didn’t manage to do what he wanted to do so we jumped back down into the ocean to go a bit faster

And then we went to see the chest and oh boy were they amazing they were filled with bones and gunpowder once our inventories were filled with gunpowder we headed home on day 90 i found a chicken in the ocean again so i swum up to him and i

Lured him back with some seeds and bought him into the house i then gave him some seeds to make him feel at home spoiler i have never seen this chicken again in the afternoon i went over to the fishing hut because i remember that rake had left a villager there

In a minecart for no reason so i made him a little area just for him with a smoker and some furnaces and i called him billy the butcher i don’t really know why i just think it was quite cute i then went over to get some xp to enchant a shovel

Because the next day we would be heading off to an island to get loads and loads of sand to make tnt on our way we found a sunken ship and the loot was quite good because we got a lot of emeralds that we could use to trade with the villagers

We then found an island and we started digging up lots and lots of sand and it went really really fast with the efficiency for shovel i picked up a few flowers and then i saw a bee in the distance so i used my soul touch pickaxe to pick up the nest

On day 92 to 93 we made a ton of tnt and then we went to see the villagers and they seemed a bit crammed up i placed the bee nest on a tree and then we went into the nether i placed a lot of tnt in a straight line and i exploded everything

This method was very efficient but i guess it only works if you have a lot of tnt on you at one point a hogland spawned because i was underneath a crimson forest but thankfully i had my bows so i finished him off i came back home with 14 ancient debris

And i was able to make six netherite ingots i upgraded all my armor to netherite as well as my sword and my pickaxe then we simply flaunted our brand new netherey armor rick and i went down to the villager breeder and bought a villager backup to get infinity

I broken place the lectern about 30 times while rake was checking what the villager was selling we finally got infinity i then went to get another villager in case we needed some more trades but this villager couldn’t actually get a job so i just killed him i then went back down

And got a proper villager this time ray had managed to get a villager with mending so he lured a zombie inside the villager’s house for it to kill him i cheekily watched rake struggle a bit and it was quite funny because he was just getting hit

So many times but i wasn’t worried for him because he was full netherright armor We finally got the zombie in and we let it kill the villager i gave rake a weakness potion that he threw at the zombie villager once he had done so i gave the zombie villager a golden apple We headed home to sleep but there were monsters nearby so instead we went to the villager breeder and got a villager prepared for trade outside we saw a bunch of drowned and they were probably the reason why we couldn’t sleep so we decided to kill them all

When all the mobs were killed i decided to go to bed but at the same time the villager was cured so i headed back out the mending books now cost only one emerald so of course i got plenty i think i ended up with about 14 mending books i can’t

Remember but it was a lot and it was plenty to share between each other next off was the ender dragons so we needed a few more ender pearls and blaze rods just to be sure we had more than enough we found plenty of endermen in the warped forest

And we killed some blazes in the nether fortress at one point i hit an enderman with my sword and we never saw him again probably because the fire killed him At one point ray was getting quite bored because the blazes weren’t spawning so he started doing something else and then they suddenly spawn that must have given him quite a scare on j96 rick thought it would be funny to let a zombie in on me well it was

Actually funny but maybe not on the moment we then prepared our inventories for the big fight and we also made some under eyes so we climbed to the top of rake’s tower to be able to have a very clear view of where the undereye would go

I threw the under eye and i couldn’t see where it went but it had actually gone on my left i threw a second under eye because we had plenty just have a clear view of where it went the night had actually fallen a bit earlier than expected

So we slept and decided to go the next day and we were off into the ocean following the direction that the eye had shown we reached land and continued the way on foot i threw another under eye and followed it we arrived in a village and rick

Realized that he didn’t have a bucket so we looted the chest and we found that one chest had some iron in it so he made himself a bucket we continued on our way until we reached a pillager outpost we didn’t rate it straight away because we were more focused

On finding the dungeon but if we do a 200 days we will definitely raid it at this point we realized we had actually passed the stronghold so we ran back at nightfall the ice sank into the ground we had found the stronghold we spent the whole of day 98 exploring the stronghold

To find all the chests and the libraries chests in the corridors were pretty terrible we then found a library and the chess were much better with all the enchanted books Of course we didn’t forget to loot the upstairs chest there are a lot of ups and downs playing in a deal and getting doors shut in your face is one of them i can’t blame rake for that because the doors close automatically but still And then we finally found the portal it only had one eye on it but no matter because we had plenty we placed the eyes and entered and guess what i landed in some lava yeah it lagged but i was fine in the end i drank my slow falling potion and we

Headed up to kill the dragon i blew up a nan crystal with my first shot i wasn’t very careful with where i was looking so many endermen attacked me When the dragon finally came down i hit him as hard as i could with my sword uh the dragon was losing health rapidly and at one point it flew away so i shot an arrow at it and i killed it That was it we had freed the end we picked up all the enchantments took the egg and went home day 100 i went to see eric for the last time in a long time i walked around our island and admired all the amazing things we had built during these 100
