Wheelassassin Guides – How to build a Witch’s cat in Minecraft!!

Thank you Hello there assassins welcome back to another wheel assassin guide I am currently in all of my Halloween gear as you can see let’s give you the full the full sort of catwalk oh yeah let’s look at the back I’ve got the uh the sort of warden head on the

Back there just to sort of give a little bit of extra I don’t know backstory to my character I guess um but anyways I am on my sort of animal world because I’m going to be showing you guys how to build this black cat just here we have ourselves a black cat

Wearing a witch’s hat because of course which is a kind of well known for having a black cat around the house or something so um yeah we have our little cat here I would love to hear your name suggestions down in the comments below

Um I was kind of basing this off of the cat from Hocus Pocus which is called cobweb which is a really really good name for a cat and of course Halloween themed and all that but um I think we could probably change up from cobweb just here and go with something

Different as well so what do you guys reckon we of course have the whiskers on both sides of the face here we have a little tongue and mouth just there the little button knows and then of course the big bdis just here and this cat is

Sort of sitting in this sort of seating arrangement just here and then their curly tail at the back there so yeah there’s got some materials and get building our little cat I must admit I do love it when all of our materials for any tutorial fits in one space of Hotbar

Like the entire Hotbar is just all the materials we need so here we have some black wool some blocks of coal some black concrete white concrete as well a nether brick stair purple wool some magenta wool and finally a block of gold as well as you can see I added a little

Bit of like a buckle to the Hat up there just to add a little bit more detail so yeah let’s go down to over here perhaps go ahead and build our black cap I think we should change the weather just to be a bit more Halloweeny okay so first you

Want to start with my black wool I’m going to use these for my feet so I’m going to go with one two just here I’m gonna go space away and then go another two I’m gonna go behind this one over here I’m going to build upwards to let’s say

Um let’s say four so number one we’re gonna skip number one we’re gonna start a new layer past this one so one two three four so technically five from the ground up as you can see here we’re trying to make the sort of cat legs sort

Of go up and make sure they’re sitting so one two three four just here and then this one will be five over here one so that’s number one get us to the level of the foot one two three four five so technically six so let’s do six here and then we’ll do

Five just here which will be our four showing above the feet oh crikey that scare me that was a bit close right so let’s go behind here and we’re gonna build this one a nice layer of five blocks and this will go just above both of the cat’s legs so it’s gonna go

Another layer up just we have both legs just underneath it like so now we need to start to go around the corner here a little bit so we’re going to come to this one and we’re going to build upwards to just there as well so five blocks from the ground up

One two three four five to be in the layer just there awesomeness starting to take a nice shape now if we come up here we can start to build the cat’s head so we’ll go with one two three four five we’re gonna build one two just here and one two just

Here as well in the very middle we’re adding ourselves an upside down leather brick stair for our cat’s mouth and tongue now we’re going to do ourselves one two three just here I’m gonna build out three again and then we’re going to build two and

Two and then you can do two blocks of car if you want to just in there for the little button nose now behind this we can add in ourselves Blackpool just here and black hole just here and then for our whiskers we take blocks of coal here

I have to do a temporary one just here to build down from it and the exact same on the opposite side just like so knock out the temporary one oh no sorry don’t just yet add in one above and now you can just like so awesome now these whiskers can be as big

Or small as you like on my original one they’re quite big as they go around the corner of the cat a little bit further and that just gives it a little bit more detail that this is a cat it was kind of hard to differentiate between building a

Cat a dog a mouse say you know all these things have like the same sort of head shape if you’re trying to build them in Minecraft so it was pretty difficult to sort of get that differentiation in there so I went with two layers of whiskers just to be on the safe side

So what we’ll do with this one is we’ll add in temporary blocks on the side of the whiskers almost like we’re making them huge and then we’ll go around the back just for one layer and take these out just like so again over here and knock these ones out like that

There you go that’s starting to look really cool so now we can take our black wool again and we’re gonna need to build ourselves like a little bit in the middle here we’ll go two blocks up and then we’ll do a third one with two blocks on either side just like this

And that way we can add in ourselves black concrete here and black concrete here and then you’ve got two little gaps for your cat’s eyes which you can either add in some white concrete or you can even go with some yellow concrete or blocks of gold even whatever’s up to you

But um yeah I think the white actually looks quite cool especially if you’re trying to build the cat sort of in the daytime like I am kind of um but if you’re trying to build it at night time and you want to get that little extra detail then go ahead and

Use some yellow concrete for those cat’s eyes now if we go around the side here we’re going to need to start to build uh the rest of the cat’s body kind of going into a 3D shape now all we need to do is take our black wool again and we’ll

Go from the ground here I’m going to build right up to our top layer of the head just to hear you can actually do both of these the exact same because symmetry is very important here so you just want to go up like so awesome

Now we need to of course mold this a little bit into a better shape because at the moment just looks a bit strange doesn’t it so if we go ahead and build down from the sides of the ice as you can see so we go into

Here just next to the first whisker then we’ll go up just to there stopping before the top of the head so first whisker and stopping before you reach the top just there these five blocks on the very top do stay the same so you can keep them at the same layer

So now then over here we’re going to come back out after we’ve done this little three sort of Gap or two Gap actually we’re going to come just out just here and then we’ll build that one back up to the top just like so we’re leaving in

Little pockets like this just to keep the three-dimensional shape of the cat kind of going smoothly there if we went ahead and just filled this in then it would look like a giant Square behind the cat’s face which wouldn’t be really good so uh we’re trying to you know

Trying to make it look better now then we need to build in another layer of the black wall just here so we’ll do one layer from the floor going right up to the top just here and again this side and that way we have three just here as

Well we want an odd number so that that way we can come back down and there’ll be a middle block on both well all sides really so to come back down you go from this one and of course that one and then these ones will build right down to the

Very bottom and we can always trim them out if we need to a bit later on so right down there this one as well just like so and then we’re going to need to come around the sort of back of the head now so if we drop down to where we sort of

Added in that little sort of curve just here we’re going to do a block up and a block back in so here and then along like so recap so here go along Place yourselves a block up from that layer and then remove it once you’ve placed a

Block just here kind of floating in mid-air and then we’ll go ahead and do the same on the opposite side just like that so once you have that layer in there it’s all good to go if we build this up to the height we have here which is about four blocks

And then we need to do another sort of layer at the back here which is going to be worth three blocks in total and then layered for four just like so awesome so now our cat does have a 3D head which is great so just to carve this in and get it

Underneath the hat you just build two there two here two there and two here and then just one in the very center like so awesome looking good so let’s drop down to the bottom on the side over here still we need to build that other foot

So we’re going to go ahead and build ourselves one oops instead we’ll go one here like so and then we’ll build one two just back here and then we’ll build a cluster of four on the side there now that we want to add in another layer

To our cap just here but this one will go a block above the space at the front so just like so awesome once you’ve done that you can actually build in another block just in here and we’ll build this from the floor up as well just like so so

We’ll do the same over here that one to the same layer as that one and then the next one in will be a layer buff just like so these ones can be connected just with an exterior one so you do three just there same as the above

And then we’ll build it from the floor to match again just like so awesome and then we’ll just fill in the little Gap so we’ll do one two three four five I think maybe a little bit further I think it’s six one two three four five oops six yep

Then here one two three four five six just like that to get the curve going just around there like so nice if we come on down in here we can just fill in this little space just to separate the head from the body just above there again to you know give

It more texture and uh stop it look like it’s all just in Minecraft and not a real cat okay well why is we’re on the back we may as well go ahead and build the tail so if we come around here we can drop to

The very bottom and we can go ahead and stick one block just in there your tail can be completely different to mine if you want to as well as you can see on my original one I did like a out up and then do a little curve at the end here

What we can do on this one perhaps is we can go for two blocks there say and we can do like sort of two stacked up there just like so and then we can do another two stacked up just here and then we can do one or above

And then maybe one down the side like so so it’s kind of curving back around you guys know as well as I do cats do not have the same sort of tail all the time like they always move it around and cut it up and do whatever they want with

It so we can make the tail however which way you want to do it uh the only thing I’ll suggest is don’t make it above here otherwise the tail will be too long so um that is just worth remembering but that looks good yeah I’m happy with that that’s good

Okay so around this side we just need to add in that other leg so all we need to do here is go to the block second Block in one two three and then a cluster of four over here make sure these are both in the same position you don’t want to count with

Like a sort of wonky leg so there we go that’s looking good just checking the sides is everything okay what I’m going to do just here instead is I’m going to knock out that block as well now and that block just there again more texture as you can see the cat’s little

Body ends here the head just begins up there the head is quite big but at the end of the day it’s got to hold that hat so we’ve got to make a big head okay then for the Hat this is kind of an exciting part we dig ourselves these materials over here

I’m going to come a block out from the head so we’re going to go just over here here as well and then you can just go two and every single one of those like so so we’ll go ahead and build ourselves the brim of the Hat just here we only need this to

Be one block here but these ones are going to come out from the side of the head for two so these are all good we’ll just not Chop these ones off and build that in just there the brim doesn’t need to be too big otherwise the cat will

Look well kind of a lot bigger than it actually needs to be but if you do want to bring it out just by a block oh it starts to look like a cap okay let’s forget that if you want to like a swag cat then you could probably do that that would be

Pretty cool but um if we’re going for our witch’s hat then we might want to just sort of change this up a bit so once you’ve done this and you’re around the corner big lightning we’ll go ahead and come out again just by a block and again here every now and again I’ll

Fly upwards just so you can see what I’ve done just to sort of copy it in the best way possible like this and then we need to go ahead and stick ourselves some black Concrete in here we’re going to use black concrete uh no actually we’ll do black wool just to

Keep it the same for the ears on the very top we need to make the illusion that these are actually connected to the cat when in actual fact they’re just built on top of the Hat Cat in the Hat and all that sort of

Stuff so we need to go bring in the brim of the hat back around here for a few blocks let’s go for we need to go two blocks past so if we go for five on the corner that’s perfect and then we can build this one for three

So over here we got number one two three four five and three in here just like so and then that is going to be the final part of our sort of hat so we can actually connect this up just like so then we’ll connect to this one as well

And if you want to flatten over the entire rest of the Hat here feel free to do so your cat can be nice and Hollow but you can always build something in there if you want to as well so there we go the hat is a bit strange

It doesn’t look you know kind of even on both sides but we’re going to do that on purpose so that’s not a problem that’s looking cool though okay so at the very top we now need to go ahead and start our detail so if we come right around to the

Front the cat is looking pretty cute we go to the middle block which you can use the nose for reference and we’ll grow the block back in so we leave a block then this one and we’ll do two magenta here then one and two and one this side as well

Now we start the details for the ears so we’ll go with some black wool for two in here and here and then we want to do ourselves some black concrete just maybe uh you can do it just there so on the back part of the black wall

And the black hole above will also be built upwards just for two layers and forward and then this one here you can actually build again the two and that will match up to the third one at the very front there like so now that cat looks really cool

It’s a very like magical cat I’d say looks very very magical let’s do ourselves some more purple here for three with one in the middle and then we can do ourselves one there one here and one here one there one there and one here so we’re building that sort of arch now

Then we’ll go over one two just in there then three again and we’re gonna need to get ourselves about four jumps to get the point on the top there at the moment we have two so we do ourselves another one which is three now then we’ll do another three

And then I’ll point at the very top there so one two three and four just like so now we need to build in here just five blocks in like so and we’re going to build this back down and around the back so that it’s all nice and secure

So we’ll build one two one two along for the five then we’ll do the three in here then we’ll do three again one and one and then we’re gonna build our last layer which is going to be just here so in line that black concrete a block in

From the brim of the Hat and all the way along here to that other black concrete then we build five in there as you can see that matches up perfectly and then in here behind the sort of cat you can do yourself another block next to the ear

On both sides and then you can either build in two blocks just in here if you want to but I recommend doing another two black four just to finish up the ears there and that should be all done and there we go awesome well assassins that is it for this really assessing

You can go ahead and take yourself any light block in Minecraft and what I did is I just stuck it below the uh upside down stair in there because that’s not classed as a whole block it doesn’t actually close up the lighting here so now our cat glows a little bit which
