Hi guys I’m jammer here welcome back to another tutorial video today we’re going to be talking about potions this is going to be another like miniseries like we did with enchanting we’re gonna do several videos talking about different potions alright so this first video we’re going to talk about how to make a Brewing stand and what ingredients you’re going to need for most of the potions let’s get started okay guys so we’re gonna start in the barrel here so to make a brewing stand you need a blaze rod which can be found in another you’re going to kill blaze for it and they will Drop a blaze rod when you kill them then you need three cobblestone that’s all you need for that and then you’re gonna also want blaze powder which is made from the blaze rods to fuel the brewing stand to make potions you’re gonna need glass bottles and to make three glass Bottles you need three pieces of glass and it’ll make your glass bottles that you can fill then with water this over here it’s how it’s set up and then you put your three glass bottles right in here or your three water bottles right in here okay so the Basic main ingredient that you are going to need is nether wart so nether wart grows in the nether obviously it’ll be in the nether fortress you’ll find some of it it grows on sol san so you can grow it in the overworld but you have to have the soul Sand and it’ll grow eventually like this I just planted that the next thing you’ll need is a redstone supply so the redstone you can get from mining redstone dust will increase the length of time in the potion so potions usually start out at three minutes and if you Add redstone dust to the potion it’ll last for eight minutes which is very useful for potions that you need for a longer period of time instead of an instant solution glowstone dust will increase the strength of the potion which is incredibly used for potions like healing that you need An instant effect and a strong effect rather than a long-term effect if that makes sense so you can get it from breaking glowstone and it’ll drop glowstone dust you’ll need gunpowder which you get from creepers when you kill them that’s something they drop gunpowder creates a splash potion so a Splash potion is something that you can throw and it’ll affect anything that’s nearby instead of having to drink it so splash potions are great for if you have a group of friends that need to use the potion and you only have one potion let’s say or if you want to harm Something by throwing something at it so let’s say you want to you want to harm a skeleton so you’re gonna throw the potion at it and it’ll break near it and that’s what’s gonna harm it because skeleton isn’t gonna drink a potion right so that’s what’s good for the Gunpowder is to make splash potion so you can throw the potion and this is something that you don’t need very much this is only gonna be useful if you need lingering potions which we will talk about lingering potions in a later date but they’re good for arrows so we’ll Talk about those in a little bit but this is dragon’s breath you get this from killing the ender dragon so you can respawn it and get more of it but this is how you get dragon’s breath and the last thing we’re going to talk about is fermented spider I so fermented spider Eye is made by adding a spider eye a brown mushroom and a piece of sugar in the crafting table and it makes a fermented spider right now this fermented spider I will give you the ability to invert the potion if you don’t know what that means that’s okay basically it’s gonna do the Opposite effect on some of the potions and I’ll give you the specific examples when we’re going over the potions of witch potions you can use with a fermented spider eye to make a different potion you don’t want to use it with every potion but sometimes it works for Example I have one right over here so night vision is made with nether wart golden carrot and redstone dust to make invisibility it’s gonna be the exact same potion as night vision but you’re gonna add a tremendous spider eye and then that’s gonna make it invisibility so we’re gonna go over how To do that in another video but next video we’re gonna talk about fire resistance how to make it how to use it what it’s good for all sorts of stuff but for today that’s it that’s what we’re going to know about potions and I’ll see you in the next video bye Video Information
