Modded Minecraft : FTB Infinity Lite : Ep 2 : The Blood Altar (Blood Magic)

Ladies and gentlemen boys and girls kids of all ages welcome back to FTB infinity that’s right FTB infinity light we’re back on the beach block server doing a little beach block stuff right last episode you may recall was the inaugural episode and kraken and i were busy together we built this smell tree

Right here behind us we did a little bit of mining we we put it in some automation which the automation has been turned off because we seem to be doing just fine on on getting ingots so so they went ahead and turned off the automation but that’s cool because I’m

Gonna go ahead and steal that that timer and and probably use it in my base but speaking of bases speaking of spaces as a matter of fact let’s take a look so last episode as you may recall we were right over here in this building right here

There’s nothing here now the chests are gone it’s all gone all the stuff out here gone we’ve got some we got some portals in here we got a dimensional portal for the mining dimension which is awesome I’ve already been there once I haven’t really gotten anything from

There yet but that’s I have been there we’ve got another portal haven’t been in there yet I kind of appeared to do that we also have this Kraken made this I think he put it in his last episode we’ve got a portal to the deep dark now

If you’re familiar with 1.7.10 portal to the deep dark was like deadly like super deadly you had to build these unstable ingots and and they had a chance of exploding if you didn’t build it within ten seconds or something like that well this is not this is not that way if you

Build a portal to the deep dark I actually just do deep dark there it is this thing is like super easy to build it’s just compressed cobblestone so each one of these is nine cobblestone right so nine times nine is what 81 you need eighty one cobblestone you got a portal

To the deep dark I mean that’s that’s pretty incredible now once you get there that’s a whole nother story because you got to be able to get down to the to the floor level and you got to be able to do all your mining and stuff like that but but yeah

I mean that’s super cheap so I’m glad we have it now because later on I suspect that it’s probably going to get more expense so so all of this is empty right excuse me all of this is empty we’re not in that anymore I have come up with a new space

For my base and that space is right over here so let’s go on over here and I’ll show you the trying to give you a lay of the land and and and what I’m what I’m thinking it doing here now this also has FTB utilities so you can claim chunks

See that right up there it says right wing Arby’s team this is this is my land right so if I come in here to II and I go to claim two chunks okay you see my guy right here that’s that’s me right there okay I have claimed these nine chunks right

Pecan has claimed these nine chunks over here I don’t think anybody else has claimed any oh I didn’t want to do that didn’t want to do that at all didn’t think anybody has claimed any other chunks out there in the world they are of course more than welcome to do so but

I don’t think they have done it yet so I’ve got this chunk I’ve got two chunks back that way two chunks that way and it makes a big square right so what we’re gonna do is we are actually gonna level this out we’re gonna bring it down here

To about level 67 which is here and we’re gonna bridge this we’re gonna bridge this little Inlet right here and we’re gonna build our base on top of this okay and so what our base is going to be centered on this time it’s going to be centered on blood magic the blood

Magic stuff is really really awesome it’s really intriguing you can get some really cool armor and stuff and and so I want to make sure that that is like the focal points so in the center of the base area I’ve got this right here so right there there’s another one right there there’s

Another one back there and there’s another one of course back here that’s going to be the entire space that’s going to the that the blood magic altar is going to be built into so that’s going to be kind of cool you think you

Need like 23 by it’s a 23 by 23 area for the for the altar itself and then I wanted to have a good bit of space around it so I think I’m making this thing like 30 by 30 something along those lines 31 by 31 I don’t know

Something big but as you can see this thing is like super super unlevel and so I need to get all of this space between here and back there and over there and over there I need to get it all down to the right level down to level 67 which is where I

Decided I wanted to build and to help me do that I did some stuff off-camera I built myself an excavator I built myself an a hammer and I also built myself a about pickaxe now I only use the materials that I helped to gather in the

First episode I know I get a lot of copper and I know I gathered help gather a lot of iron so those are the two those are what I helped those are what I decided to use to build my tools we’ve we’ve got some guys that have been to

The to the nether we actually earlier we actually had some some cobalt there in the in smell tree but I decided that I wasn’t gonna use that until I until I got it from the nether now you also noticed that I’ve got a couple of emeralds right pick not pecan but Kraken

Found a couple of found another village and got a couple of villagers over here because with all of the stuff that we were doing to get this thing ready the villagers got overrun by zombies and they got wiped out but he was able to find a couple of more villagers so they

Are right over there right there see him you can see one of their heads right there and they’ve got some pretty decent traits one of them is a farmer so we can trade all of that stuff in the in the farms there and get a boatload of

Emeralds and so I’ve been working on getting some emeralds I have also I also had an ender Lily that we found in the first episode I have been able to harvest one one whole ender pearl so but hey you know you got to start somewhere and I’m gonna need as many injured

Pearls as I can get because I do plan on using some stuff from RF tools and RF tools is very enderpearl centered but what I’ve got to do now is I’ve got to I’ve got to get this place kind of leveled out so I’m gonna go ahead and

Get started on that I need to get a couple of my diamonds because Kraken we split up everything that we found so we’ve got we each have a couple of diamonds I’m gonna take three of them and I’m gonna increase the durability on my tools and then I’m gonna go ahead and

Get started on bringing this setting down to what we do say 67 so right here I’m going to bring this thing down to level 67 and then we’re gonna see what kind of see what kind of floor we want to use for for the base that’s going to

Go across here and the other thing that one I want to do is I want to make it wide enough that we can build some kind of entrance up from the up from the water so that we can come in with a boat or whatever and we can dock that boat

Underneath and all that and and it’ll be it’ll be super cool so I’m gonna go ahead and put this upgrade these upgrades on my tools and when I come back we should be leveled down to about area or level 67 so that we can actually start laying this thing out and getting

Going on some some blood-magic and we’ve got a lot of stuff to do so hang tight I’ll be right back with you okay so here we are we got it all flattened out at least right here and over there there’s some stuff back here that we’re gonna

To remember is I like this diamond chisel yes okay so we need that and then we need some I think we’re gonna use I don’t have a whole lot of it but I can I can definitely get more let’s use some cobblestone let’s see here where’s my

The trick so if we just come right here boom and then can we do this yeah this will work so I want to go home I want to go ahead and bring this across here actually yeah that’s right that’s right go ahead and bring this across here like this okay so

This is gonna be this will be the level that our our base is essentially built on and we’re just come right across here like so here we go tie that right in like that okay so now let’s go and see what that pattern looks like if we were

Coming in from say here that’s that’s not bad that’s not bad we’ll do something different here as far as you know like pillars up and stuff like that to to kind of highlight or emboss the the blood-magic area now that’s just that’s just going to be this

Row right here I want to do something different inside of here like this and that’s this is going to essentially be a box that goes from corner all the way back there to that corner all the way back to that corner and all the way over

To this corner it’ll go all the way around this way so I will have to trench this out right and dig it all the way back over there and all that around I’ll probably do that here off-camera in just a minute but let’s take a look at the chisel

Again and get an idea of what other block we want to use for for the rest of the floor and actually let’s come up here can I know that’s wood can I get I really don’t have a whole lot to choose from I haven’t done a whole lot of

Mining yet can’t what can I can I get anything off of this probably not it’s probably the same thing no yeah yeah it is it’s the same thing is it but is it no it’s not it’s not the same is it I can get polished diorite out of stone

Thing that we absolutely have to have is we actually have to have some snares right snares are pretty simple it’s just some iron ingots a cup of piece of redstone and some string I think I have all of that I might need to I might need

To do something with some wool to get some string miscellaneous blocks I have three string I need four right okay so to get string what can I do string oh yeah cotton easy enough that’s over here so let’s go get some cotton because we’ve got cotton over here in

Our in our little farm here I knew I did that on her I knew I did that for a reason hehehe so let’s come over here and get some cotton and then we can make some string hello villagers here and yeah okay did I get it all yes I did

No that’s one seed right how many of these do I need oh hey come back here one two three four five six seven seven do that do that let’s go ahead and plant these get them growing again right okay now we can take these thirteen of these

And we can go get some we can go make some string and that’ll get us some snares and then we’re going to use the snares to actually get some some demonic will actually that’s perfect that’s just enough so now we even have some string left over for something else like a bow

But we already have a bow so we don’t have to worry about that all right so let’s come over here let’s get the rest of what we need out of our chesty chests let’s see we want some iron oh I already have iron let’s get this wood and put it

Into our wood chest trapdoors wood so that can go in there too let’s go to our building blocks let’s get rid of a bunch of this dirt we can put that away dirt dirt okay that’s good all right now let’s go ahead and see about making us a couple of snares

Oh honey redstone redstone right here sweet now we got everything we need so let’s do this and do shifter clicky and sneers okay so now what I got to do is I got to wait until dark and I take these snares and I throw them at the monster

And I can obtain their demonic will and then I’m gonna use the will and good thing that’s getting to be dark I’m gonna use the will to build the a couple of things number one I need to build a head Hellfire Forge so Hellfire Forge

Right so to make the Hellfire for oh I can do that without the I can do that without the the will so why don’t we go ahead and do that so that’s iron and some some kind of stone which we have stone up here so let’s get some iron and

Some gold do I have some gold I have this gold I think it’s worth it I think it’s worth it I only need how many do I need just one I think it’s just one yes just one so we’re just gonna cook up one piece of gold right I don’t want to

Waste this so let’s go ahead and get up would hmm yeah do that like that I’m not gonna waste a piece of coal on it don’t do that okay so that should get me a piece of a piece of gold and then we can make that hellfire Forge which is

Awesome okay there’s that let’s go well oh I just wasted one just stupid I’ll have to make some more okay so Hellfire Forge boom oh we’re missing oh we need a block iron we can make one I can do that let’s go like this boom

Boom there we go now we can do this boom boom and boom Hellfire Forge sweet nests so we’ll just set this up right over here for now and then you use the Forge to create the next item on here actually the next item on here is also one that

We can do without anything else and that is the sacrificial dagger so sacrificial whoops sacrificial dagger right here so that’s gold plus iron plus glass I don’t have any glass do i oh boy all right well nighttime cometh so let’s see if we can get a couple of zombies or

Something and do I have classes I had glass at one time but I don’t think I have any anymore there’s miscellaneous chests negative negative negative negative mmm and I don’t have any more oh and yeah I need I need this I need this I just need one once I get one then I

Can make the item that I’m actually trying to make and that is the the sentient yeah the sentient sword this thing so you need that to make oh that’s right you need your will to make your tartar gem and then you use the torch arc gem

In order to create to create an iron sword actually you’re going to need a couple of pieces of will and everything so I’ll tell you what we’re gonna do let’s see if we can get at least a mob but aha I see a zombie and he’s going towards the villagers actually I think

He’s coming towards me yes he is hi there hi oh it didn’t work darn it okay so I’m gonna have to just kill these guys and then we’re gonna have to make some more of those oh can I have to make some more of that stuff

Some more of those ow ow you hurt there you go I killed you yeah I’m gonna have to make some more of those some more those snares so I’ll be rack with you guys ASAP with all the stuff that we need out that hurt run away Oh baby our Savior

Put on to a sword so that we can make it into a sentient sword the sentient sword is awesome because you can use that sentient sword to get more will you don’t have to use the you don’t have to use the the snares anymore so hopefully

We’ll get some mobs spawn in here let’s go this way and see if we can find one or two now these don’t these this stuff doesn’t they don’t do a lot of damage so it takes a minute to get the first couple of these right we got we got lighting issues here and

That is that people have lit up a bunch of spaces and so mobs don’t necessarily spawn where you want them to huh I’m sure we’ll find somebody though I’m sure we’ll find something we need any food okay so I’m not sure exactly where BC is

But if he’s close by that throws off the the 25 oh there’s one okay cool there’s one oh boy oh and then you gotta kill them there we got one cool okay I will get these guys I’ll get you did we get a will I’ve got one did we get another one

I’m gonna need two I’ve only got eight snares left shoot wait did I pick one up over here did I pick this one up um I don’t see one over here shoot I don’t see one over here no I need one that’s no good that’s no good

All right well I’m gonna have to go and see if I can find some more mobs and and get myself another another demonic will this ought to be hopefully this will be easy I was hoping this would be easy but I definitely need one more hmm I’ll come

It didn’t mute at all and so then when I pushed the button to unmute it muted and so I lost my audio from like from that point on we lost like 12 minutes audio so basically what we did was we we built that sentient sword and we got another

Card we got another tartaric Jim we built the sentient sword here you see that were that we that were putting together everything that we need to build the to actually build the blood altar and I I don’t I I don’t know why but the you know the microphone that I

Have is a is a blue Yeti it’s a great microphone and it were it records wonderfully but the problem is is that you know it I don’t ever usually have to do any kind of muting with it but this time I did and it it kind of it failed
