Modee – Dungeon Crawler (Minecraft | Survival Sealab #44) [Roguelike Dungeons Mod]

Hello good evening and welcome back to survival sea lab i’m modi apparatus on today’s episode we’re going to be heading inside the structure that you see here as you can see we’re miles away from the sea lab or above ground we found this structure last episode

And so we’re gonna check it out and see what we can find inside so let’s get going all right so as i mentioned we’re gonna be heading inside this building right here this one i found flying around uh popped right on the map for me it’s like oh i

Gotta check that out and sure enough it might be part of the roguelike dungeon mod i’m not completely certain on that but we went downstairs last episode and explored just like the very beginning entrance way but i set my spawn to the bed here just made a little

Structure to get by for right now and so we’ll head in and see what this holds now there was an upstairs level here let’s take a look and see if there’s anything worthwhile upstairs here um oh there’s a chest here already oh what do we got here we got uh

Surplus pantaloons of defense um should we go try this with just using the stuff that we find oh that would be interesting only using the loot that we find in here that would be an interesting way to try this it might be way too difficult though let’s take a look at

The journal here and two that says forced out of your own face and monsters everywhere are such a marvelous home with such a marvelous home our stuff is still down there we’re running out of food and have to leave soon before the tower is taken over as well

Rolex dungeons 1.3.0 credits gray mark gray merc it’s drain soul got it okay so this is part of the roguelike dungeons mod as you can see there’s a little backstory there i guess uh some some backstory anyways we’ll grab the soup i don’t think we need anything else here

Uh protection on breaking yeah we don’t need that i mean i guess a fun way to play this we never find another one of these a fun way to play this would be to play with only taking the loot and use only using loot that you find

Uh that might be interesting but i think we’re gonna be a little bit overpowered for this particular dungeon but i’ve never done one of these before so i mean i don’t know i don’t know how it’s gonna be i’m guessing we’re probably gonna be overpowered for it but we’ll see what happens

Uh we’ll just keep heading downstairs here and i gotta keep twisting around to get get downstairs oh my gosh it’s really dark i should probably put some lights down that’s right we’ve made it to the bottom here already oh we haven’t even haven’t been to the bottom here

Not even close to the bottom yet here we go all right we’ve made it to the bottom which way do you want to go here this looks like there’s spawners this way a jukebox and a chest that way or just a long tunnel this way i think

We’ll head towards the chest to start here so let’s get going let’s pull off this these iron bars here and see what we see uh we got a jukebox here with nothing inside of it oh here we put some music on see if it sets the mood first of all let’s do that

Yeah that sets the mood all right melon seeds this is something we’re looking for for a long time actually i really needed those to make some magnum torches because it requires potions of regeneration and that requires melons and glycerin melons and uh yeah so i don’t know why we couldn’t find anybody

Here we go we got them already so already this this the loot in this place is already paying off oh we’ve got a cake here awesome so let’s not get into that until we need to some fish some iron ingots another book probably just gonna be random loot that

We’re not gonna need for the most part here okay so i’m getting already lost here i’m getting turned around um i didn’t set a mark or anything like that because i’d be a little bit too cheaty we’re just gonna explore and see we can find here

Oh that’s a dead end all right so we’ll go left and another dead end um yeah that’s really basically if you’re in a maze the best way to explore everything is keep turning left and then uh what is this correct stone brick so just piece of

Oh is that my marker that’s my marker from up upstairs okay so it’s the tower marker so i do have a little bit of marker at least of where we’re going oh here we go what have we here oh nothing really good here um so yeah i guess the

Way the idea of the roguelike dungeon mod is that this this will get more difficult as we go deeper into the mine here or into the dungeon uh so i’m guessing right here right there we can go downwards and we’ve got our first enemy encounter it sounds like coming up

Here soon let’s pull this off now this is one of the direction we didn’t go okay so this is the main entrance again and let’s head this way now we have a spawner over there though just be careful around it up there it is spider spawner probably should get our uh oh he’s

Already coming at us all right we got him we got him he’s not coming through the doorway all right come on come on come here come here why can’t i hit you i’ll put some lights there so they don’t keep spawning hopefully there we go have a piece of that oh you

Got us once that’s all right so yeah we could totally play this as only using the loot inside the dungeon i don’t know if i’m gonna do that for my very first try on one of these but i think that could be a fun way to

Try it uh down the road it’d be a very roguelikey kind of uh experience then uh probably be too difficult to even even master that dungeon at that point but that’s that’s that’s the idea that’s what you want it’s just a difficult difficult thing to

Do now i don’t know if i’m going to include crafting recipes in there if i can get anything i find i can craft or if i can only use the stuff i find like an adventure map or something like that so maybe we’ll think we’ll ponder that for a minute let’s see

Okay so we got a second spawn over there we already checked that one oh there’s another chest down here is there not no i thought i saw a chest but i guess it was just wood all right um 29 bricks i could grab some of the stuff

Here but i don’t really need it all right let’s get this spawner down here oh he’s coming at us wow he kind of lunged forward like that it was i don’t know if it was delayed or what but uh so far nothing too good we haven’t

Gotten the good loot but again this is the top floor so maybe the loot improves as we go deeper i guess we’ll have to find out okay we went in here already right we explored all these directions yes okay so let’s head back to the main chamber

And then we’ll head downwards to the next floor here i think we’ve gotten everything oh my god oh my god we’ve got a dozen creepers here huh three of them still gotta be very careful maybe we get one of them to blow the other ones up

Here you blow up your friends oh okay all right cool they actually did do some damage there i’m maybe this isn’t gonna be too difficult or more difficult than i thought it would be i really didn’t think they’d do much damage but they did manage to do some

Uh we do need to eat something at this point though so we should probably drop off stuff as we find it that we really want to keep um i did a little killing and get got some more uh mutton for instance and that kind of thing so let’s eat some

Let’s drop some stuff off into the pack here because we don’t need gun powder bricks and that kind of thing we can throw away looks gonna throw it back home oh we should probably put our helmet on that’s probably why we took damage there

I imagine um which is fine i mean i i probably deserve to take damage there but i don’t know exactly how we should how we should play it you know what i mean um okay another one oh my god they got oh good lord okay

So like if you wanted to play this like legit i don’t know what legit but if you’re playing with the only inventory you find oh we got a helmet see i mean we can totally do that this is leather stuff at this point so you have to like find stuff level up

Maybe kind of actually a fun way to play this maybe i should just play it that way right away i i’ll stop talking about that i mean i’ll i’ll try this i’ll try the standard here try it let’s try it with just the gear i have and not worry about like

Playing any special way but i think definitely to make these more interesting drop off everything you have before you enter and then only use the loot that you find inside now we’re going deeper into the mine maybe just like a handful torches with you or something like that

Oh we got enderman we got zombles got creepers and an anvil so you could actually survive down here quite well um all right let’s get in here and mix it up if we get oh my god there’s so many enemies okay so things have escalated quickly here in the second area um

Luckily we have a nice sword here which can do about two hits on anything oh we pissed off the enderman though oh now so we’re starting to see armored enemies in that oh good lord well he took out his own spawner so that’s not bad uh oh okay let’s hide behind the door

Here quick there we go pop out and get him oh he’s getting see they’re getting armored now so it’s a little bit more difficult and there’s the loot getting better so we got an iron sword with oh good lord sorry okay all right forgot about you undermine i’m sorry i forgot about you

I’m sure he minds it quite a bit oh we got soul sand right here that’s odd um but interesting so we got iron sword with sharpness we keep going straight let’s keep going straight ah nothing over here all right so another dead end

And this is not a dead end but it will i guess was supposed to be a dead end all right so let’s go this way now we’ll be methodical about this all right what is this room this is really cool actually uh canola seeds i mean even that white

Stone random what’s a white stone used for uses on a white stone no no uses on it okay interesting oh my god this is the creme de la creme this is the reason i came in here honestly a builder’s wand now this is my this is

Like for a builder like me for someone who builds a lot of things especially in survival mode this is the oh my god this is so great um so what this does you can you can aim at a wall or something like that if you have the blocks in your inventory

You can build with them so we can do entire walls at a time this is gonna make building in this game so much more fun and easy i can’t wait to try my next build okay let’s let’s get rid of that right away let’s send that back to

Back to the the the overall inventory here we definitely want that the builder’s wand oh my god that made this entire thing worth it that it right there is uh oh my god oh oh we fell down a bunch of floors there should we head back up i

Guess we should have back up first let’s head back up oh this might be we might be uh in overhead now all right we got the uh the hammer which does a little bit of extra damage against undead creatures so that’s a good thing oh god i’ve watched her step here

All right now we hop up let’s see is this like a a trap oh yeah it might be this guy’s coming in from behind me oh so this wooler’s a stained clay oh get stinky okay okay let’s take a look and i’ll look in this chest now um bones gold

Bottle of enchanting some ender pearls i mean we’ll take the under pearls i guess and we have we have plenty at home i’m sure at this point we have our ender farm going pretty well now as far as uh the magical crops go but still we want we want more always we’ll

Always need more i saw a guy peek his head over here where did he go there he is all right oh i heard a i heard a something i heard a like a piston move so we’ve got a riveted waff of defense and this anvil we could use to enchant

Some stuff if we need to so we can use all the books we find now that’s kind of kind of thing i think playing this as a a singular adventure map kind of thing uh would be kind of interesting as i mentioned i think that might be cool to play it

Ocean instant healing okay well hang on to that chest plate yeah so i mean i guess that’s maybe that might be the idea of this is to just go in without any kind of armor and just pick up what you get oh god or maybe maybe just wooden tools and that’s it

And just like five torches or something that might be interesting you’d never you’d never make it back out alive oh we’re underwater now oh this is i feel right at home now we got a coral reef down there oh cool i have to remember where this is

So uh i can go back there if i need to there’s some coral right here too nice i feel right at home here very nice uh okay so let’s head back towards the the downward area here i think we’re probably oh which way do we come from

We were just over here right oh see these are skeletons with a uh gold pants yeah we were just in here okay i just didn’t light it up right we got all this yeah we got all that okay i’m getting lost already and turned around in here let’s um so the exit

We have a friend we have a friend i mean honestly the builder’s wand oh wrong thing wrong thing wrong thing that’s not gonna do enough damage there we go that does a little bit better um i have a oh god okay stay away from me oh wow there’s there’s monsters coming everywhere

Well the environments are not indestructible so they’re gonna keep blowing holes and everything here and that’s where we’re having some problems here already i’ve fallen through the levels aren’t ready for yet but honestly the builder’s wand you haven’t gotten that make this whole thing worth it like i can stop i can

I can leaf you’re happy now at that point opal all right i’ve been getting a lot of that stuff we should probably get more block of quartz here we go okay now we’re getting some uh now we’re getting some heavy mobs here okay let’s keep them all away we can

Oh god lord okay there’s so many of them okay let’s put some lights down here stop those guys from spawning let’s head over here this looks a little weird but yep a yellow wrench we’ll probably want that i don’t think we have one of those yet from ender io and a steel helmet

Splash potion resistance we’re getting some company oh we found an actual dungeon here too that’s cool like i found a vanilla dungeon like right mixed in that’s very nice um let’s clear off this stuff here gravel covering it all this is a double chest oh it is a double it’s a double dungeon

Awesome we got pretty lucky here uh we got a floppy disk a safari net some iron scrap we can probably use that for rotary craft uh tint ingots and copper and gets well we’ll describe all that stuff and we’ll we’ll have to clean out our pack right

Now i think and send some stuff stuff home if we don’t need to have it with us i just grab floppy disk sure i don’t know what the floppy’s just gonna is gonna do for us exactly but uh we’ll see what is this staff of traveling from enderio hmm

Let’s give it a shot here i wonder if it’s like a teleportation thing i have no idea staff of traveling doesn’t do anything for me let’s uh let’s take care of this guy i forgot to light this up before we okay let’s light this up before anything else happens here

There we go oh it’s lit up i don’t know why we’re still getting spawns here all right let’s grab all this stuff here and we’ll send it back home i don’t know what the staff traveling doesn’t have to look that up later and find out

Uh okay i think we’re ready to go that’s kind of cool we found a vanilla dungeon inside this rolex dungeon oh this is very dark and ominous over here oh god i was distracted by the ominousness i forgot to be aware of enemies okay all right we seem to be holding up

Pretty well with our armor but it is draining out of power i mean eventually we will run out of power but we’re getting it back by running around so maybe we’ll be okay uh our our nps armor is probably overpowered for this whole thing it’s not overpowered in general oh my god

This is a cool room hey buddy you cool man oh oh here we go this guy’s not cool be cool man be cool these guys are here i mean i’m sure that it’s going to get more difficult as we go here but i mean i still oh

I still think uh we’re okay it seems like i could take a creeper blast without even batting an eye right now i think we’re okay as far as armor goes oh good lord now i mean i guess i guess it is doing damage i mean we could if we

Get caught in like a creeper mess like it could happen where we’d get killed uh so we’re not completely invulnerable to the elements if creepers aren’t element they’re a force of nature right um okay so we got another couple chests down here oh another desk with that for sure and beware this guy

Oh he blew it all you blew it up you blew it up oh my god our pack’s a mess now put the lights down so we can uh hopefully avoid some enemies for a second like clean this out let’s just get rid of everything we don’t necessarily need right now uh this

Now if we die down here we might actually have to play it the way i was talking about where we come down here with nothing and uh gotta make our way which again i think that’d be kind of interesting to play it that way so maybe i’ll uh

For funsies maybe i’ll load up one of these in a separate world and see how it goes all right and here’s the down oh it’s just a hole oh god um we lost that chest there oh diamond sword nice that’s the kind of thing it’d be uh it’d

Be worth it but you’re stuck down a hole now oh god see now we’re in trouble okay so our armor is holding up but oh god okay all right all right we made it no what now oh see the guys are getting more and more armored

Sound kind of like this this would be it oh my god this would be an impossible challenge if we didn’t have massive armor on okay so they are getting through my arm at this point now so it’s a massive challenge even with overpowered armor

Oh look at this guy he’s a is he a wither oh he’s just a giant skeleton all right things are escalating quickly here let’s eat some food hopefully we can recover some health oh stay away from me oh they got more health jeez oh boy this is no good

Oh no oh my god we fell down on the floor we fell down another floor all right these guys are no problem oh we’ve got blazes this could be bad my uh my suit is susceptible to overheating so this could be bad let’s head this way you
