Modee – Guardian of Gaia II (Minecraft Mage Quest | Part 53) [Modded Minecraft]

Good evening and welcome back to mage quest i’m modi apparatus today’s the day we’ve put it off for a few episodes now because i’m quite intimidated by the prospect but today we’re going to fight the guardian of gaia 2 and from what i’ve heard this will be a hell of a fight

So let’s get going all right so as i mentioned today we got a big task ahead of us here and i just want to make sure we’re completely prepared for everything um we got some good stuff last time we’re going to the end i’ll get some end stone might need that

Uh enter pearls we might need a moment here can we make some tara steel one of those back here but we’ll be able to get lots more uh lots more tear steel here in the future because we have so many ender pearls now um now that we can go there and uh yeah

We have the teleportation right right on site here now um okay so what do we need we have earth shield four these guys proved to be pretty useless but um overall i think maybe they can help fight with some of the guys when it gets to the second stage i don’t even

Know if the stages are the same for this area effect lightning storm maybe maybe um it might be immune to that kind of stuff i don’t know um anything else we can use i think this the shields are override each other so it’s either earth shield

Raw shield or storm shield and we have earth shield three and that’s gonna be the best shield we can get we might be able to get the water shield leveled up if we wanted to but i don’t really know the advantages between these i think this is just general resistance

Is what this one provides we’ll also definitely want to make sure we have our potions that we used last time the grand pancea the alchemical potency the ablative protection yeah do all that uh get a couple instant health going here um what else do we need well they could go a couple

Take a couple more of these grand pencils and then also it doesn’t seem to work but did we ever get that um that one that restores our life working for us it never seemed like it never did and i don’t even know where it went now maybe it does waste all of it

What did it look like it looked like this love push number nine is that called i know what was made with this the angel heart vial yeah we need that what happened to those gotta be around here someplace you think well who knows might be gone forever ifano ranged

Combat does not do anything against the the uh guardian guy us we’re not to worry about that i think these two weapons combined are a good fit um anything else we might need well let’s get every single advantage we can get okay so let’s get this on

Okay we have the floral ring on that’s gonna provide an extra boost we have a wither entire wither effect that’s great we don’t need to have this equipped to recharge our mana we’ll have this equipped so we can move fast but we’ll uh maybe there’s something else we can use

Um there is i think there’s a runic shielding someplace here let me take a look here quick uh let’s see let’s see where would it be there was like a ring of there it is ring of protection rude shield one what kind of level does this direction does

This provide you put this on okay so it gives us a little bit more defense if you look down our hot bar there you can see our hearts a little bit covered runic shields is not gonna provide a whole lot of defense just level one of it

Um maybe we’ll have to lo i think we should probably just fight it once and get a baseline going here and then look at other ways to up our game as far as defense goes uh and other ways to attack and that kind of thing um

So i don’t know what to expect maybe it’ll be super easy and won’t be having any difficulty but uh i’m feeling it won’t i have a feeling it won’t you don’t get so lucky um but there’s strategies we can use of course there’s always different strategies so

Um like i said i think we just got to get a baseline established to see how tough this is actually going to be and then up our game from that um so yeah we’ll get all this stuff down the hot bar here take this stuff right before we go in to fight him

And then we’ll have to get the thing made here of course these will work when they’re on our hot bar i don’t think we’ll need our wand so i’ll keep that place safe safe here we’ll need a couple of these and then also we’ll need of course our next pair of steel made

To make the metal to summon him there we go everything should be good there should we go real real fast and golden all right cool i got that next we need to take it with those gaia spirits we have and make a special item to summon it dia spirit ingot

Now what this is going to do for us to be defeated this thing is really going to be anything it’s more of just a challenge i think it’s not going to give us anything more because this is going to give us more guys periods and honestly we don’t need a whole lot

More i think um but uh you know what might as well i mean i wanted the challenge here that’s basically the big big thing here is just for the challenge anything else so chemical potency okay i guess we don’t need that grand pancea we have three of those on us i think that’s

Gonna be plenty hopefully um we have the ingots anything else we might need food possibly yeah lamb chop it probably won’t matter that much oh maybe we should just grab some food quick here if we have any just sort of covered just in case and uh anything else we might need

That’s mistakes okay so i think we’re ready to go we’re as ready as we’re going to be whereas we’re ever going to be uh it’s almost night just sleep quick and then uh tomorrow tomorrow dawn we fight him all right the time has come no more stalling it’s time to face the music

Here and find out how dangerous this thing is going to be not looking forward to it at all and like i said there’s no real reward out of this besides just more guys spirit uh items these guys over here are gonna be pretty useless um in the fight

But they will jump in with the if the guy has summons those uh regular enemies to uh fight us all right so we’re gonna do is take these two things and one grand pancia and then we’re gonna use the gaia like that we’ll use this then and crystal bows not gonna do anything

For us so all right here’s goes nothing let’s take the ablative protection let’s take this let’s take this for some regen here now and here we go all right the time has come it’s time to do this guardian of gaia here it goes all right let’s summon our guys here we

Need this too all right we got that going took away our runic shielding already oh my god he’s fast he’s fast as hell look how fast he goes we got him a couple times already all right so far so good so far so good oh my god

I think we’re going to see a couple phases here though same as before he’s got two of these little bad things too luckily the i think the purple normally would cause a wither effect that’s what i was reading about this and that uh we are getting luckier as far as it not

Causing any weather effects due to our uh our loadout so far he’s gonna build and break through our armor our absorption is doing its job pretty well he jumps around like crazy though oh we got him good that time oh sorry guys i’m gonna actually kill our golems here there we go

It’s so fast all right here we go we got him we got him we got him this ain’t no thing okay here comes phase two no not yet over here comes phase two all right here we go get those guys to fight for us then we’ll switch to this weapon here

And luckily it’s a day time so the guys are uh did i just take all my own guys here i have to wait for the cooldown to happen here so we can’t do anything with these guys just yet oh man the witches are the ones that are gonna be the problem

Take those guys out first all right so i think we got this man i thought this would be a lot harder oh boy okay i think we almost got him maybe i almost got him now i might be totally wrong about this there might be more phases to this i

Hope i hope there is this doesn’t seem any different than before honestly i don’t think this is i don’t think this is guardian of guy too how can i tell he’s moving faster oh my god well this phase moves super fast oh we got him oh boy

Well he didn’t drop some different stuff here look what is all this stuff here he dropped uh oh my gosh get rid of this so he dropped 16 guys spirit so that’s that’s different um redstone we don’t need that man of steel he dropped all that man of steel you dropped wow

Grab this zombie we don’t need overgrowth seeds okay um what’s this thing that’s our flight potion we got uh i can’t even see what this is will of corill craft a terrace steel helmet to add the following effect critically hits apply with the wither oh wow that’s cool

That’s really cool uh anything else we want we want these mana pearls sure yeah and man of diamonds oh he drops a lot of good stuff he dropped some like cool custom loot well he is not that tough i mean uh we can do this again and again and again i think

Because yeah this isn’t that bad and we do need a little more of these potions i think but i think we didn’t get damaged at all there uh so we found a good setup i think we we managed to take him out and that that was surprising that was that easy

I mean i wasn’t wasn’t expecting that at all i haven’t put this off for so long i wasn’t uh i wasn’t anticipating it to be so easy oh overall what did the over growth seeds do you have to like a look at that here oh uh there they are there’s the book

What does the over growth seed do even not seen this before i think there’s a rare dungeon loot that’s why we haven’t seen it before overgrowth seeds elusive item enchanted piece of grass creating enchanted soil flowers that are rooted and enchanted soil will function at double their normal speed oh nice

The one problem though no one’s no method for creating these exists oh that’s great okay so we can actually can we apply it to the floating flowers because that would be great if we can make those thermal lights go even faster that’ll provide us even more mana i like

It i like it a lot let’s go test it out here quick and maybe we can apply it to those guys floating there um maybe not we’ll see hope we can hopefully we can um maybe if we kept reading it would tell us or not but yeah if we can give

These a function twice the normal speed actually you know it’s right here we can we can don’t apply to the floating ones but i’d rather plot those because um you know we’ll uh let’s do this let’s apply to the floating ones here how’s that working oh it needs to be on grass

Well if that’s the case what’s my effect oh earth shield okay okay we gotta put grass on these i mean there’s no reason that these need dirt plenty of grass blocks let’s drop some of the off some of these things here that we don’t need anymore let’s drop off these

Put it in here make some more tear steel if we need it i think we definitely will we’ll definitely want to kill money at this thing because it’s it’s not as bad as i thought it would be now one thing i also want to do is get a

Lot of mana pearls and i thought a couple of ways we can do that not mana pearls but ender pearls rather so i’ll tell you what i think what i’m gonna do is i’m gonna fight this guy a couple more times off camera here quick and if anything cool happens i will let

You guys know and break in with it but otherwise we’re gonna move on to setting up an ender pearl farm in the end alright so i got him beat a couple times here a couple more times and we did manage to get one of these things

Again so we can i think we can add both onto our helmet now and yeah so we’re just getting a super powerful helmet here with all kinds of cool uh critical chance effects and that kind of thing uh other than that not too much cool

Stuff here so i think we’re gonna do now is uh move on to my other plan today which is to make an ender pearl farm in the end using some botania stuff so i’ll come right back after i get a few things set up alright so my idea here is

To uh make uh first of all we made some bellathorns which basically will do uh damage to things that are in their vicinity if they’re supplied with mana so that’s the step one um that’ll kill them hopefully we got two lust runes here i’ll leave these to make the second part

Of this which is the vincu lotus and the vincu lotus basically affects only endermen and uh if you look here it affects only under basically anytime they’re gonna teleport instead of teleporting they teleport to this flower so recently we’re going to use this to pull them in the vicinity of these bella

Thorns which are going to damage them and then uh hopefully they’ll drop what they are carrying um and uh yeah so that’s the plan anyways we’ll see if it actually works we need a few more things to make the vincu lotus take a look real quick and say

No nope not like that thank you lotus and that is going to require purple mana pedals it requires a room of lust roof sloth and room of water we have the room of water made already i see a room of sloth now i don’t know what that’s involved with

A sloth is bam two man of diamonds a room of air and a room of autumn root of autumn is fire and air so we’re gonna take a couple steps here to get the others fire here’s air run of autumn that is uh one spider eye and any kind of leaves

But i believe i should make a bunch of these sometimes just like to have them um it just takes time to do it but that’s all right we probably have leave some place if not we can get shears going and no leaves there’s some that’ll work for me let’s just make

Let’s do six of these right away here so we can get lots of runes and have to worry about in the future we need spider eyes we’ll need a couple of fire and uh air runes which we have spider as we have in spades yeah we’ll do two we’ll do two runes of

Autumn here i think it might make two runes also that’s the case that makes two so we can have a lot of runes here with this what’s the room sloth here let’s see what this is it’s only one at a time oh man it’s gonna take a lot of time okay so we’ll

Make two right away have it uh one of each of these then and anything else we might want man of diamonds we got lots of those from our battles here and we’re gonna bottom that should be good okay so let’s go first fail make the room with autumn drop it into here

That requires a spider eye and three leaves there we go that’ll make the autumn rune we should really upgrade this to a guy amanda spreader so that goes super fast i think that’s probably a good idea maybe we’ll do that uh next time here or between episodes here i’ll just do

That because that’s not going to be too interesting i’m sure and there is our moon of autumn let’s do the next one right away here as long as we have the stuff on us and uh let’s let’s let’s change this out right away here and see how fat much faster it goes so

Let’s make ourselves a guy a man of spreader here and um a guy a man of spreader what is involved in that here the iron man spreader requires a elevate the dragon stone elephant man spreader and a gaia spirit element spurs i think we have some left over of

That we didn’t use maybe not uh okay so what’s the recipe for these then uh dreamwood banana pedals in elementium element you have lots of uh we have we need a oh we know what we need to do is uh get this thing back up and running here so we’ll need to

Take these and uh put some of these in here start generating some more mana this one looks like it has some um i think that’s enough let’s try it it works okay we’ll throw throw one of these in there quick the dragon stone back throw another one in there too why not

Get a couple of these oh we have it open might as well do a couple of them all right so we got the couple of those now we can make something to make some more what’s makes it like a bunch of guy manufacturers actually while we have the means here

Uh man of pedals we have three over there that’s perfect we can use those for this uh we’ll need uh this this close the middle elementium goes on the end off i missed the tinker’s construct stuff here i was falling over the floor all the time here

All right so there’s those there’s these we also need the dreamwood eleven of those so it’s not gonna make to us met too many things here one only uh we’ll get more greenwood in a second here then we have any more dreamwood i think we just need to take some living

Wood and throw it in there extreme wood yeah just toss this in there and uh it’ll make 20 of it just do that let’s let’s let it work and uh let’s throw this back for now there we go let it work for a minute here get all this

Well the dream we can possibly imagine and that should be all of it then okay perfect now we can do a couple more of these oh let’s grab the rest of our stuff here so that should go four okay that’s perfect uh man we have no more pack for

Anything here let’s drop these off then uh let’s grab our elementium back out and i hate having my pack for stuff gotta clear it out but uh no time no time right now right here we go there we go all right so we got the eleven mana spreader next we take these

Dragon stones and also our uh gaia spirits get those i’ll make a gaiamana spreader and this will be super fast during a huge amount of mana and we’ll take out this guy right here we don’t have an axe on us do we of course not why would we and we don’t

Have an ax in here really either do we well jeez we’ll take this out upgrade it with the gaia mana spreader and now we should see how fast things go now just like that now that’s speed there we go oh not like that that’s the one

Bottleneck is me throwing a thing on a thing that’s our new bottleneck here uh okay so we need one of these we also need a sloth the key here was sloth sloth is my damn man of diamonds and air and the ruin of summer so we need one of these

One of those back i gotta waste it right now because i don’t need it we don’t need to have it right now only one of these things i think and let’s do this one again and so good and uh oh you know what we need is more of this

More uh living rock yeah all right so living rock on top oh falls off there it goes oh it was back on again come on you get on top there seriously like i said the bottleneck is just me throwing a thing on that thing there we go two runes of sloth we can

Throw one away into here for next time we need it and uh yeah we’re starting to get a nice collection of runes going here so next we need to take these and put it with some flowers to make the vinculotus lust air and water i lost its lust sloth and water

And also we’ll need a lime green we’ll need uh three black to purple and so we’ll go let’s drop these guy mana spurs off because we don’t need those right now this hat it’s a lot of things here the redstone we don’t need at the moment

Um and we’ll need okay so we’ll need black we’ll need purple got everything we need and we need to turn some of these not all of them into mana uh mana pedals requires mystical mana mystical mana mana and now we can do this whole reaction here so let’s drop in our

Mystical or one mana or one lime green our purple mystical and what do we need for me for two purple mana petals you know i think we threw in the wrong kind there yeah we did all right and then we need our runes and a redstone route so rest so root

Our three runes one two three and some seeds to complete the reaction here we go moment of truth to do everything right i hope we did everything right here we go there we go okay so we have the vincu lotus next thing we’ll need for this whole project here is a mana pool

And the one thing we don’t have is a good way of getting mana over to the the pools here so we’re going to do is it will use the greater band of mana to do it we also have these black lotuses we also have a full map tablet here

Um so all those things combined we should be able to get it done here let’s let’s get in there let’s eat something first of all let’s head into the end and see if we can uh we can get these guys to react to the uh

To the plan here so let’s go into the end and that’s right back down here again and how did i get out of here last time i’d like to know that oh cause i had the other other thing on that’s how let’s grab this uh let’s grab this tara shatterer

It’s not the most convenient way to get out of here all right so let’s set it up like right here let’s see if this works so let’s go put the mana pool here and they’ll put the uh vincu lotus here oh we need dirt oh i didn’t plan for that

I don’t suppose i have any dirt on me i guess we could have these floating okay they’re not me okay so we got to head back then uh where is the portal i’ll have to find that quick here i’m not sure we didn’t mark it so let’s look around for it here uh

Let’s see probably around your assemblies there it is all right we’ll head back home quick and then we’ll get some dirt then we can actually do this project all right we’re back in the end now we’ve got the dirt we need and we’re ready to build something cool

So let’s mine up some of this end stone here let’s lay down a nice patch of grass for ourselves to use this on we’ll have like a grass here like so so for now and then um we’ll put down our bella thorns we’ll put down our pinky lotus

And uh it’s paired with this yes yes okay next thing we need to do is drop in these black lotuses should give us lots of man in here let’s see if it works oh how do these things work like some strong magical vibes and i thought we could just drop them in there

All right well that doesn’t work i really thought these had mana in them i don’t remember how to unlock it though um and then we need to we can use this instead though this is set to accepting mana from items so we’ll drop the mana tablet on top there

Come on get on top there we go drop that on there it’ll drop in some mana into this these will start working and moment of truth so far it’s working this pulls them closer and closer that works and did it drop an ender pearl when i killed them no it did not so

Basically i think what we need to do is build ourselves a little structure here it’s safe to look this is like the man this is like the enderman looking area you just look at them we can like egg roll them like this bring close oh my gosh they’re taking the dirt i

Forgot they can steal the dirt all right you something else besides dirt at the key there oh there they go they’re dropping some okay so so far it’s working okay build some fast which is nice but the dirt blocks are not gonna work for these guys here

Let’s like leave these here like so that’s all i really need is those three things like that hey grow some more guys back it up come on dude do something about it yeah there we go that’s how it works yeah it works okay so this is a nice

Automated ender pearl thing we just stand here we can set it up make it even better with the hopper hawk and so to fix up the inner pearls for us we have to do anything then um these grass blocks are not going to stay gonna get pulled away by these guys

Here hello sir oh goodness okay guys guys guys okay we need to build a bigger thing here because obviously this is uh not gonna work here uh we need a bigger bigger bigger uh head range here there we go like this and we can uh be safer from these guys i really get

Anywhere up my business here all right now we’re safe let me get some more enterprise all right hi guys how’s it going come on over hey you hi you just look around the room to get a little taste of that uh this works perfectly great so it says completely passive

You don’t get any xp from it though but uh overall not too bad so i think it’s gonna do it we got a nice little ender pro farmer pretty simple ender pearl farm going on here make this a little bit better i think off camera maybe um

And we need to be able to look 360 degrees so we can anchor all these guys over here so we’ll work we’ll work on it hi guys going down hi guys yeah it’s a little loud obviously it’s like a like a airplane hanger in here right now but uh it works okay
