Mojang Delayed The Next Update! Villager/Raid Changes & New UI! Minecraft Bedrock Beta 1.20.30.22

Mojang has delayed the next update for Minecraft Bedrock Edition as they released a bunch of new betas so we have a ton of new bug fixes and some changes to the user interface along with updates to raid farms and Pilcher outposts not only that they’ve introduced some new Mechanics for reporting players with

Skins and usernames to Minecraft Java Edition we got all that news and more in today’s video so let’s hop into it so Minecraft 1.20.20 has been delayed a little bit they’re actually going to combine it with 1.20.30 and then just release it as one update probably in the next couple

Of weeks I would say maybe two or three weeks we’ll see the next update to bedrock edition of course everyone was expecting this update to release this week but of course it has been delayed we don’t really have a good reason why it was delayed we just know that they

Are combining the two there’s probably some technical reasons why they’re doing that because there is actually a fair amount of content and Bug fixes and 1.20.20 as you’ll know if you’ve seen my recent coverage on those betas either way we have a new beta releasing 120 30

22 and that introduces just a couple of things the biggest of which is new user interface for the world creation screens so as you can see there’s a button right here to switch to the new UI and it actually shows all of our existing worlds here as well of a really nice

Thumbnail of all of them this is quite nice looking now we can do Worlds by creators and that is of course Marketplace and then of course you have the import World option up here this just opens up your file manager so if you have a world download from somebody

One of your friends then you can install it using that button which is really convenient and then it also separates it out into Realms as you can see here and then the standard servers so these worlds are still sorted from newest the two oldest it seems as you can see all

The oldest ones are down here at the bottom but it doesn’t show you the date which would actually be really nice if it did so this is going to be what the new world loading menu looks like going forwards I do think it would be nice if

We could just customize it you know either grid view or list of view because I am actually quite used to this and I think it would be nice if we had the option of both you know and you’ll notice that the world names are no

Longer colored as you can see I have the little stacked s symbol to make the name like magenta but it’s still just a white name so hopefully they introduce that also there’s a button up here in the upper right that I barely noticed so this is your friends tab so any friends

That are hosting worlds will show up up here I don’t know why it’s like so far and away it should just be one of these main TAPS at the top another change to new worlds is that recipe unlocking will automatically be turned on whenever you

Make a new world if you want to you can always turn that off it’s a vanilla survival feature so you don’t need two disable achievements there’s been a minor update to the skull concatless whenever this thing is activated now the amethyst crystal in the middle will also

Light up previously it was just the base of it we also had a new snapshot 23w33a and this has a couple of interesting features that I’d like to mention here because they’re probably going to be coming to bedrock Edition as well first of all we have skin reporting

And username reporting and this is a really nice feature because it allows you to manually report someone for an inappropriate username or an appropriate skin as you can see here there are several different ways that they can enforce the rules using these things and all reports are going to be manually

Reviewed by a human moderator which is really nice they’ve also changed how far mobs can’t reach on Java Edition previously how far they could reach was just calculated by the mobs of width so a zoglin could reach much further than an Enderman for example but now they’re

Going to take into account the height and the width of the mob so something like an Enderman will have further reach now of course for a mob to be able to hit you it has to be able to see you so this isn’t going to affect most kill

Chambers I wouldn’t imagine this also does not affect the reach of a players so keep that in mind there’s also a couple of older betas that didn’t have too much in them so I didn’t make dedicated videos it’s about now I’m gonna tell you what’s in them because

There’s a couple of decent changes that you should know about so Mojang has removed the god pillaring method so there was a way for you to crouch jump and place blocks and this allowed you to stack up and make like a pillar that’s 10 blocks tall or something and

Unfortunately that has been removed that’s been in the game for absolutely years and I don’t think that this affects speed bridging can confirm it does not affect God bridging whatsoever so that’s really convenient we also have the first big nerfer 2 villager trading in this update so you can only cure a

Zombie villager once to get the discounts anytime you cure it after that you won’t increase the amount of discounts you get I’d recommend that you get all your trades in now and stock up on your supplies because you’re not going to be able to get as many discounts going forward this might

Actually make raid Farms more useful because the hero of the Villager Factor gives you increased discounts there’s also been an upgrade to raids so witches in raids will now throw regeneration and healing potions at the other illagers now this might not affect raid Farms too much because they are gonna have to

Focus on healing themselves first before they heal their friends but it might decrease our rates ever so slightly but look at them aren’t they so cute with their pink little particles you guys are adorable it looks like they’ll only throw potions at illagers from their own

Raid not once from like spawn eggs or the Pillager Outpost Mojang has absolutely ruined Cherry Grove biomes or at least to some of them because Pillager outposts can now generate inside of cherry Groves because why have one nice biome in Minecraft when you can ruin it with a Pillager Outpost

Hopefully this isn’t too common of An Occurrence because it’d be really nice to just have some place where the pillagers aren’t always there and as with every beta there’s always a ton of skulk sensor upgrades and changes so here is an entire list of things and the

Last thing for this beta if you’re playing on a Windows 10 device then you can go into your settings your video settings and if you scroll down to the bottom there’s a new toggle here for improved input response basically this makes it so your input latency is lower

But it might use more power from your computer or if you’re playing on a laptop it might use more battery power I’d be interested to see just how much of an improvement it really is though the year is 2023 and we finally have the ability to mine Pistons faster using a

Pickaxe so this is like the default mining speed that we’ve had for like 5 000 years and now if you have a pickaxe you can actually mine these things quicker look at that it’s so much faster this is amazing so this affects you know pistons and sticky pistons so here’s

Efficiency five nether right oh you can basically instant mine it now this is incredible do you know how much time we’ve wasted together as a Minecraft population over the last decade mining Pistons it’s millions of hours spent mining Pistons thank you mochang why did why did why did it take 10 years and

The way Bedrock exclusive feature right here let’s go but very obviously if you were to power these things it would actually block the flow of the water but as you can see that doesn’t happen anymore when would you ever put your Redstone in water on purpose who knows

But now you can and it’s like apparently a supported intended feature because they’re making bug fixes for it there used to be a nice little feature where the Pillager captains who could drop their banners and then another mob could pick up that banner and wear it on its

Back uh exactly like that actually but allegedly that was fixed so that they would only hold it in their hand honestly I think they should keep wearing it because why not that sounds amazing I actually think that this should be a thing that the player could

Do as well because look how cool that is you could put any Banner design you want on there it appears that only the zombie types can pick him up I’m not getting anything else too and also if you spawn in a Pillager and just throw a banner on

The ground they’re still gonna wear it on their back so I would go ahead and collect some of these mobs because they’re actually going to be rare mobs going forwards they won’t be able to have this Banner on their back anymore another nice change for Creative players

There’s now a button to just completely empty their search bar so you can spam anything that you want in there click that little X and Bam it completely deletes it there’s also been a nice change of two ice and snow generation is now determined to buy the random tick

Speed so if we increase the random tick speed as you can see this freezes way faster than normal previously this was just determined by something and you couldn’t change it they also change Pilger raids so previously when all of the villagers were killed the bus bar

Would go to zero and the raid when end but that is not the case anymore as you can see the raid is actually still ongoing but now these guys celebrate that is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen I think they’re playing different horn noises now too and he’s laughing previously The Raid

Bar would go away immediately but now it takes a little while just to give the pillow drew some time to celebrate do you guys notice something different about me maybe something a little bit far away well now your camera can actually pass through glass blocks glass panes and iron bars completely freely

This has been on Jabba Edition for so very long previously your camera would get stuck on it kind of like a solid block allowing you to do this kind of zoom up if you had a pillar in front of you but as you can see that no longer

Affects a glass glass panes or iron bars and of course that doesn’t affect the stained glass either which allows for some weird situations like this right here but you know what that’s fine this has been a pet peeve of mine for so very long but the broken state of the elytra

Would usually render as a brand new elytra especially when you held it and it just got really really wonky so a fully repaired Light Truck would look broken the broken ones would look fully repaired and it was really silly but it appears that they have finally fixed
