Multiplayer Hardcore Datapack (Minecraft 1.16, 1.18-1.19)

Have you ever wanted to play minecraft hardcore but in multiplayer well you come to the right place because i made the data pack for that and honestly that data pack probably already existed but i made it anyway so uh yeah so the first thing this data pack does

Is it sets the difficulty to hard now i’m not actually in hardcore right now but i do have hardcore hearts because i also have a resource pack available that you can also download that replaces your regular hearts with the hardcore hearts the first thing that this datapack does is when it loads

Sets the difficulty to hard every time so you know getting the hard experience now multiplayer hardcore when you die you are set to spectator mode so when you die uh you are in spectator mode and there’s not really a way out of this if you go to the creative it will just

Set you back um and that’s kind of like how it’s set up yeah you’re pretty much dead it’s multiplayer hardcore as you can tell but um There is an override so we just do cardboard players set and then player name you set your death reset to one it does override this and you can respawn uh you know in case you need it for some reason you know how to put it in there but um

In this data pack there is also a way to revive your friends so let’s say your friend goes down you want to revive them well you can find the structure at 0 0 negative 38 or 0 negative 38 0 as you can see uh this structure will allow you to

Revive your friends at a cost so this is all you’re going to need to revive your friends you’re gonna need four crying obsidian four ancient debris four blocks of diamonds four blocks of gold an emerald block and a respawn anchor and you’re gonna put it in a very specific pattern

And then once i place this respawn anchor your friend one of your friends should be brought back to life um as you can see all the blocks are gone so it does cost you them and uh it does bring you back to life i’ll play some footage of me actually using it

Because i’ve been using this data pack and testing it in my own multiplayer hardcore world but um yeah that’s what it’s supposed to do now if you want the true hardcore experience and do not want this revival shrine there is an alternate data pack available that actually does not have this shrine

So you cannot bring back your friends your friends are dead forever unless you just use the scoreboard command i showed you earlier and uh yeah when you bring back your friends it will say this message in chat it will give you the player name and it will say has been revived and

The way the command works is it’s gonna kill them in spectator mode so but it will respond them wherever their spawn point was and yeah so this data pack is available on chris forge i’ll have a link in the description and uh if you have any suggestions or have any
