My Thoughts on the NEW 1.7 Artifact Set for Xiao | Genshin Impact

So my dudes don’t care today i’m going to be talking about reminiscence of shimei the new artifact set coming with 1.7 and is it good or not for xiao okay tell me how you really feel about it if you guys i’m gonna explain the set

Real quick while i walk through and i go into do this domain the set as a two piece gives 18 attack four piece bonus when casting elemental skeleton character has 15 or more energy they lose 15 energy and normal charge and plunging attack damage is increased by 50 for 10 seconds

I think yes and no let me explain the goods and the bads of it obviously the good you buff his plunge damage even more by 50 the bad there’s a lot of bad to it one you get the 15 energy recharge that is um are the 50 energy that’s and

Shallow’s already extremely energy reliant he needs his alt to function there’s two is it’s bonus damage dealt if you guys don’t know how xiao functions he already gets a ton of plunging attack damage bonus or just damage bonus period so you’re hitting major diminishing returns anytime you get bonus damage

Dealt instead of animal damage or anything like that the attack the 18 attack off the two-piece pieces really nice but the four piece having a 50 bonus damage dealt is kind of detrimental that it’s damage dealt instead of like animal damage or anything like that because you end up um hitting

Diminishing returns do the sheer amount of damage bonus percent that xiao gets shao gets a ton between his ult and also the skill right here are this passive right here he gets a ton of damage bonus dealt and it is additive and it’ll hit the mission returns

So there’s a bunch of things going into like that um then the other thing is shallow doesn’t generate energy inside this result so the only way you could really trigger the four piece is if you were to let’s say dash dash dash really really quickly and then you prop it

You pop it then you pop all last 15 seconds you’re probably gonna get like eight to nine seconds out of that buff so whenever shallow’s at is strongest that’s gonna that’s whenever that’s going to pop off because this ad the longer his alt goes on the more damage he deals

Increasing by five percent every three seconds the the as long as the ability persists which is result um and it goes to 25 percent you’re going to falling you’re going to lose that bonus you can go into that and then you’re gonna have to build his ult up all over again

And then not to mention if you don’t have alt it’s going to still consume 15 energy so if you’re not set up right away like right now this is a perfect setup for this is this is the the situation i’m in right now is when the set would actually work

I would use my skill it would suck up 15 energy i would get the 15 energy back right away by using three all three skill pocks and then i would be able to get the 50 plunging damage for about eight to nine seconds because the particle effects have are

The particles the animal particles have travel time they’ll take like a second or so to get to you but whenever you’re an abyss and whenever you’re at zero whenever shallow starts at zero energy you’re going to burn all three of your little dashes you’re going to get 15 energy they’re going to use

Another dash you’re going to end up burning that 15 energy that you just got and you’re going to buff up his out of normals rf his out of vote alt normals charge and plunge which let’s be real shall without his ult is virtually useless so you’re going to end up

Really kind of uh cucking yourself you’re going to really want to just mostly not do that it’s going to be like it’s really hard to one i can only this is only theory crafting i can only tell you what i’m thinking as a very long time child player

About how the set would function essentially whenever he’s in doing anything but it’s really hard to like super test it until it comes out so take all this with a grain of salt but in my opinion i don’t think that you should be wearing or even thinking about this set for show

I think it’s worth a shot i’m definitely gonna form the set for other characters so i might give it a shot and shout just to see how does he do with it and then i can compare the animal damage bonus percent uh that i get from two-piece iridescent

Versus 18 more attack maybe that’s better i’ll i’ll do some comparisons i’ll do some testings when the set comes out but initial opinions on this artifact set not that good for xiao but very very very good on characters like hutao kuching other characters that are really relying on normals that don’t

Really care too much about their old child even ayaka yoamiya um very very good for those characters but not that good for xiao anyways let me know what you guys think in the comment section below do you guys agree with my little assessment that i had here
